This is easily one of the best Vietnamese meals I’ve had in years! I didn’t order classic pho this time. I went for the rice combo with different kinds of meat, and every single one was perfectly seasoned. The flavor balance between salty and slightly sweet was spot on. I also tried the Thousand Layer Bun, and it completely blew me away! It’s a traditional Chinese-style dish, but they made it incredibly well here. Their Lunch Special is unbelievable: just $15.99 for a full meal including a shrimp spring roll appetizer, a generous rice combo with lots of fresh veggies and meat, plus your choice of drink. In today’s inflation everything in California, that’s a rare find. They also serve Boba Tea with lots of flavors to choose from! It’s not something you’d expect from a Vietnamese restaurant, but it’s such a fun and delicious bonus. The place is clean, cozy, and super convenient with plenty of parking, right next to Starbucks. Ordering on the iPad is easy, service is friendly, and everything on the table (sauces, condiments, utensils) is perfectly set up. No wonder this place has such great reviews. Highly recommended for its great food, fair prices, and a warm atmosphere!
I enjoy eating alone, and I happened to stop by this place ~ they had a 1-person lunch special! The spring rolls were delicious, and the combination bowl was amazing. The Thai tea that came with it wasn’t too sweet (I got it without boba) just perfect for my taste. The portion was very generous (I even had leftovers to take home), and every single ingredient tasted fresh and flavorful. I was honestly surprised to get such a great lunch at this price. Highly recommend!
Love this pho place- we came as a big group of 11, and ordered Thai boba tea, various pho, fried calamari, grilled beef, sweet potato fries, fried rice, fried shrimp, pot sticks. Everything is so good- especially the pho soup is so good that I almost finished all the soup. Highly recommend this restaurant for dine in or take out.
The food is so fresh and flavorful! I haven't had Pho taste this yummy in a long time! It's worth the trip from Vista! Their Thai tea is solid and refreshing! The atmosphere was charming and clean and the music made it feel cozy! They have a great team serving you, they care about your experience and dish and the tables are set up in a clean and organized design! Can't wait to come back!
First time at this restaurant and I enjoyed the food. Good service and big menu. I liked the milk tea! The rice came in the shape of a cat! It was such a fun surprise
The food here is the best Vietnamese food I've had in the US. I still miss the mango salad so much. And the staff was really friendly.
Pho Hut Grill is a gem! The pho is absolutely delicious, with a rich and aromatic broth that tastes like it’s been simmered for hours. The portions are generous, and the toppings are always fresh. I also loved their grilled dishes—they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Another great lunch in the books! @boiling_pho_escondido was excellent! Normally I don't eat a full bowl of pho but today was the day! The eats: Fried egg rolls: Straight fire!! So nice I bought them twice! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Beef Pho: they only have one size... Large... the flavors are immaculate, the beef was super tender and the broth, well I could have drank that straight from the bowl... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥+🔥🔥 Passion Fruit Tea with Crystal Boba: delicious...I didn't know there was clear Boba! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The owners are super nice and the restaurant is super clean! Make sure you go get your eats on at @boiling_pho_escondido ... you will not be disappointed! Until next time my foodie friends! Stay healthy, Stay full!
We Oder Vietnamese coffee A2 shrimp spring rol p13 spicy noodles beef we eat It all we like your foods we will come back, thank you for your love foods.
Pho serving size is on the larger side. Taste was good. Spring rolls were good, and peanut sauce had a good taste and texture. Will be coming back.
Tried this place for the first time and it was so welcoming staff helped my mom and me decide what was good to eat and when food came out it was absolutely delicious. Everything about this place is just amazing service, quality, atmosphere. Would definitely come again!!!
My daughter and I went for the first time during lunch and the reviews on Google maps & Yelp were very good. The restaurant wasn’t busy most likely because it is a weekday. The server was very nice. The restaurant is clean and food was delicious. We plan to go again.
Right away they gritted us with a smile. It’s a small cozy and very clean place. We tried a little bit of everything, portion are great size, taste was delicious. All the plates were shareable with kids. Definitely coming back!
Stopped in this shopping center to meet some family and noticed this spot while I waited. I ordered the pork Banh mi and a lychee slush. I still can't get over how beautifully marinated the pork was. I'm a huge fan of banh mi and this by far has been the most flavorful one I've tasted! The lychee slush was so good, too. For this being my first visit, it did not disappoint! The staff was very nice :)

I have only ordered the Bahn mi for pick up at this place. Each time it has been fresh, delicious, and bursting with flavor. The French roll it is served on has been fantastic 👌. Crusty, slightly chewy, and fresh. There are always customers inside when I come in, so clearly they keep busy. This is a solid indicator that the food is good, in my opinion. I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but so far, what i have had, has met and exceeded my expectations. The price seems reasonable for what you are served. I ask for extra jalapeños on my sandwiches and haven't been upcharged, yet. So that is pretty cool. Check out pho hut grill. It is worth it.

Modest, fast casual Vietnamese pho eatery in Escondido. Grilled chicken banh mi had a soft and pillowy French bread with a very thin crust. Chicken was on the sweeter side with pickled vegetables. Chicken pho was temperature hot, with a nice broth. The fresh bean sprouts, mint, and other accompaniments were slow to be delivered to the table. The taro milk tea had tender boba. Flavor-wise, it was a bit watery. The shrimp rolls were fresh. The taste was on the simpler, blander side.
This unassuming Vietnamese pho restaurant is located in a strip mall conveniently next to the freeway. We seated ourselves and ordered the food ourselves on a tablet. Comfortable and low key ambiance and only a few tables set up. Restaurant is under new ownership and part of the Pho Hut and Grill chain now. There was only one waitress serving all the customers and our server seemed very flustered and unsure about what was going on or how to use the ordering tablets We ordered pho, green papaya salad, sweet potato fries and a grilled pork rice dish. The appetizers were small portions. Large pho soup was on the small portion as well and the noodles were still stuck together in the original form until we stirred and loosen them up in the soup. They gave us two side condiments of bean sprouts, lemon and basil for 3 orders of large beef pho noodles. Also, they were not generous with the side condiments like regular Vietnamese restaurants. In fact, there was only 1 sprig of basil found in each of the condiment basket. The kitchen forgot our order of the grilled pork with rice and had to send a reminder to the kitchen. No apologies were given. Waitress was under instructions to ask customers to leave Google reviews at the restaurant and in return, they will offer fried egg rolls as reward. All and all, food was average, small portions and no wow factors. Probably won’t return.
Had the shrimp spring rolls and they were good. Got the well done steak and I tried the broth first and it was alright. The steak and noodles weren’t the best tasting. A little expensive for the taste. Overall I give the pho a solid 6 out of 10.

Good location easy parking and the atmosphere is nice, but the food left a lot to be desired. Ordered the raw steak and flank pho, it was very light on the meat and the beef broth does not have much flavor. We attempted to squeeze some oyster sauce from the condiment bottle to give the flavor some much needed enhancement, but even the bottle was clogged. The service was also almost non-existent, we were given an iPad to self-service for the most part. Nobody came check on us besides bringing us the order and taking the payment at the end. There are definitely better pho places in the area. Would not recommend.
My husband waited a half an hour for chicken pho. I don’t know why it took so long since when he got it home, a 5 minute drive, all of it was cold. The temp felt like it was taken straight from the fridge. No flavor and the only add in’s I received were onions and cilantro. Very disappointed
