I didn't get the host name but he was on it. I did get my servers name which was Jake and he was on it as well. Great attitude fast friendly. Didn't bug was attentive. The food was fresh hot and quick. another thing I liked was Jake had the meal i was wanting to help me make a choice and it ended up being a great one. I will be back I give 5 stars. It's good to have such a good place here in Escondido that doesn't break the bank.

Came in with a group of 3 during rush late-hour. The hostess said they would be full till closing time, but since the bar is open seating, our 3-person group could still secure seats. Vibe is immaculate. Bar servers are very friendly and interact with the patrons. Food came quickly and was delicious. I ordered the Cajun Pasta (chicken), and it was very good. My group also loves their food. I will come again.

They're so affected by that $20 an hour fast food rate but it's more expensive for sure due to inflation but you know what if you're just looking for some place to have a good meal that isn't stupid expensive but real crappy food and the places that are out there Chili's has always been a place that you get what you pay for and the food is always great heck they got these new ovens now you get your food so fast I was blown away even for steaks or whatever. The staff is always friendly and have a smile even when I just had a bad day and go to eat alone to get away. Great place to dine. They have a big variety of meal choices,and even let us modify our meals. Value prices and even have some two for one specials.oh and luv the drink options. Only downside. Limited large group seating. They have lots of tables but if your group is bigger than 8 you may have to wait a while. But it's a great place to fill the belly..

Doing some Christmas shopping and we needed a break. Went to Chili's. I've been going there since 1993 but it's been about 10 years. Love the atmosphere in there it was pretty cozy and dark. The bartender Brandon and all the staff were awesome. Straight up review the food was killer, clean and fresh. The price point was more than fair. Found a new place to chill again.

Feeling so full it hurts. All family happy with their choices ranging from smokehouse ribs, fajitas and the "boss" burger our son saw off in about 10 minutes flat. Too full for pudding but succumbed to the s'mores molton sponge to share. It was delicious, try it just workout more the next day.

This is a great Chili's location! Our waiter Ryan was world class! And the senior manager Bev even checked on us to see how we were doing and we had a nice chat with her. I loved how proud she was of her staff and her store. My mom and I had the Santa Fe chicken salad and the quesadilla explosion chicken salad. As well as classic nachos for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Parking is easy, and the location is a little bit hidden, which I like. Definitely will go back again. 🥳🙌📣🏆❤️

Went here earlier this week. Got the hamburger with fries and drink with unlimited chips and salsa for $10.99. All food was excellent and what a deal. Our waiter was great as well as all other staff. Meal was cheaper than nearly all fast food and was quality. Tipped nearly as much as the bill, but we'll with it and will definitely go back. Even with tip, still better deal than most places we've been to in the past 5 years.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this location, thanks to two exceptional servers, Emir and Dylan! They truly went above and beyond to make our night special. Emir even surprised me by bringing a to-go drink and packaging some dipping sauce for me to take home—something I’ve never experienced before! The entire staff was incredibly sweet and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place, and I can't thank Emir and Dylan enough for their outstanding service. You both made our dinner a great experience!

I went to Chili's with my parents for Valentines dinner. It was A1 Service!!!! From the moment we entered the door to the moment we left the restaurant. We tried the 3 Me menu and had the smash burger and it was good. Food was tasting great and and fresh ingredients you can taste. Well cooked and seasoned. Fries are great too. Drink is included and a starter. Paid less than $30 for 2 people which is unheard of now a days. Escondido Chilis staff are the best. Our drinks were refilled right away and they even offer to go. We would be back with friends and family. I appreciate the big screen TV to watch the games.

The food is always fresh and flavorful, the service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely welcoming every time. My go to spot when I can't decide what to make for lunch or dinner.

My brother and I went out for lunch at Chili's in Escondido today. I hadn't been in a very long time. My meal was delicious, and very reasonably priced. I had the 3 for lunch special with a QP Burger, Fries, and a side salad for $10.99. Crazy good deal. But above all, the service was excellent. Nick promptly greeted me when I sat down and my drink was always full. The food came out quick and he continued to check up on us consistently throughout our meal. Paying was super easy on the table tablet. Overall, just a really great experience, I will definitely be back.

I was surprised at how fancy this restaurant is, and the wide selection of foods on their menu. They have soups, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and our server was a nice woman. The only issue we had was when we tried to pay on the tablet; that thing is extremely slow and freezes while doing any transaction. Great experience here, though! This place definitely surpassed my expectations.

It’s chilis, but I will say they have great cheap margaritas and the shrimp fajitas were on point, I want expecting much since it is in fact another chain restaurant, but I was actually surprised by the fajitas. The fried Pickles were actually really good and fresh. Definitely will order those items again. The place was just a little understaffed in my opinion, took a little while for our table to get cleaned off. Oh the tortillas were not in tortilla shape at all, they came wrapped in foil and when I unraveled it, the tortillas were broken in strips. Not that big of a deal but kinda bummed.

When we visited, the food was very good. We had a salad with chicken crisps. We were served by A very polite and attentive young lady. On this day the background music (if you could call it music) was very loud which obviously caused the patrons to almost holler to converse. The level of noise was almost to the point of being uncomfortable.

We ordered 2 meals to go on line, picked them up and took them home. Because of that we were not able to resolve the issues below. I had the brisket quesadilla, skip the ranch, add guacamole. My wife had the Santa Fe salad. Mine came with ranch & no guacamole. The receipt said "86 Ranch, add guacamole". My wife's Santa Fe salad had 3 small pieces of avacado. Not slices, 3 small pieces. We pick up from this location about every other month and haven't had any complaints, until now. Will likely eat here again but probably will check the food before I leave the parking lot. Edit: The restaurant replied "We’re thrilled to hear that you had a great experience." I guess they didn't read the review. We did NOT have a great experience.

The two times I have been here they screwed my order up both times. The 1st time they messed up the side dish. The second time they messed up both my girlfriend and my order not once but twice each! We sent Back both our orders twice each!! Then I complained to the GM and she personally made sure that our orders were correct. The GM gave us her sincere apologies and did a great job on fixing the problem, she gave both us our meals "on the house"

Chili's runs hot and cold depending on the server you are assigned. We have always gotten good food, but service can be a struggle.

We had a bit of a rough start at the beginning with an almost hour wait due to the fact that the hostess got my roommates number wrong and us never receiving a text message. However, after we were seated our server Ryan was the most kindest, efficient, sweetest server we have had at this location. Definitely made the experience better by the end of the night.

The service was outstanding and our server was very friendly. The prices were good also, with large craft beer being about $6. The reason for the 4 star rating is because of the food. I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Salad, which was good, but it only had two, very small pieces of chicken, not even enough for a child. When brought to their attention, I was given another piece and told that it was supposed to come with 3 pieces. Also, the portion was a bit small, but still very delicious. Overall, I'm satisfied, but it wasn't perfect. The server, however, was very good!

Had a great outing with the hubby and grandkids! Service was great and the food was good.

Good was pretty good but I feel mislead when asked if we wanted chips and salsa. In my experience pretty much every restaurant offers chips/salsa or bread as a free appetizer. It wasn't until I got home and checked my receipt they tack on over $4 for the chips and salsa they offered at the beginning of our visit. Other than that food was good and our waiter was good but that hidden $4 left a bad taste in my mouth... watch out.

I’m from out of town and I'm working on a project nearby. The first time last week the food was good and the waitress.was on point. Very attentive. I sat by the windows and I noticed that they are dirty with splash marks on them. The left sink on the mens restroom did not work. Today I came in and was seated right away. My waiter Christian, took my order. The food was brought by someone in the kitchen promptly. I needed a refill of tea and wanted to order some dessert. My waiter didn’t come back ,ever. So I promptly paid and was walking out. I was going to talk to the manager but she was called up front and she never came. Also the windows are still dirty and the same left faucet is still not working. COVID related my guess …

Just okay. On the plus, even on a busy night we were seated promptly and served quickly. Big shoutout to the entire team. Food came quickly and they were constantly going around and topping off drinks. The downside was the food. While the fajitas and pasta were excellent, the steak was AWFUL (at least 75% fat), and the chicken dishes were dry. At least the sides were all good. Everything was clean and the digital payment was quick and easy.

The trio fajita was just okay for 25 bucks. I would not order the trio again. The steak was not tender. If you want steak on a budget stick to Black Angus. Oh…and the $6 margarita is a no no. I would have to drink 10 to get a buzz. All in all it was okay, but for 70 bucks not worth it. 🤷🏽‍♂️ This is definitely a write off.

I was very disappointed in the serving sizes of the French fries. I ordered 2, and they both looked like this. The containers were like 1/3 or 1/4’s full. Both my daughters were very upset how little fries they got and wanted more. I felt bad I didn’t go right back.

Food is good. The trio appetizer platter is perfect size for me. However, this is the second time I placed an order for curbside, get home & notice that my request for "no onion" was not done. The onions on the mini sliders have to be added & or not part of an already made ingredient so I'm surprised that it was not accommodated. Had to pick them out, yuck! Other than that, everything else was delicious!

Server was not knowable about the happy hour menu . Our first round of drinks were very watered down. I ordered a long island iced tea that tasted like lemonade. After speaking with the manager we got new drinks that were properly made. Our food was excellent and was served in good time.

We came to celebrate my mom's 73rd birthday. Sorry to say that this was very disappointing. We really like Chilli's, however this location was terrible! Right for the start we were not greeted, floors were dirty, and the vibe was not inviting at all. I use to come here alot when lived in Escondido but, I don't think we will be returning here.

I ordered online for a pick up at 11:30. I actually got there exactly at 11:30, check in and waited for my food. It took them 15 minutes to bring me my food, & that was atill after i went in to see what was taking so long. This also meant the food was at best room temp by the time I got to me. I've been here a few times, and have not received the best service but decent service. This is the worst service they've given me to date. You may as well just order in the store and wait for your food there.

Side salad was wilted, and some lettuce was brown. Didn't eat it. Our waitress never came by to ask how everything was. Had to flag her down to get water refilled. Never asked if we wanted anything else. My sister-in-law was going to get dessert, but, too late. We just paid the bill at our table and left.

I ordered over the phone because the chili's app wasn't working. Great service, but the steak was overcooked. We ordered medium rare! I called the restaurant to notify the manager about the Miss-Steak. He was cordial and said that he would send a Welcome Back Reward.

October 13 2023 went to eat at the bar area around 5PM sat in the two seater table. Waitress seemed upset when I placed my order. Asked the waitress for another beer and she did not acknowledge my request she just left and went to the table next to the one I was and I heard the other table order a beer as well. 10 minutes later I see the waitress give a beer to the person that ordered a beer after me. It took 20 minutes for me to get a beer. After that she asked if we where ready for the check and she ignores me the entire time I was asking her to split the bill down the middle. The waitress did not split the bill evenly like I had requested instead she placed my entire order on my bill and placed my girlfriend order on her. I never received this type of treatment anywhere else. Really awful customer service. This was my first time ever visiting a Chili’s restaurant. I hope this waitress gets some retraining in customer service.

Host wiped down the table in front of us, swiped the old food onto the booths and expected us to sit on it. My wife wiped down the booths, no big deal. No kids menus given to my impatient 4 and 9 year old, no big deal, I'll ask when the waiter comes. No service for 25 minutes, got up and left. This place has gone downhill.

Service was unacceptable, we got sat without menus, server stop by drop off utensils and didn't greet us , took him long time to come back and didn't havean idea what was going on on his station, we end up leaving .

I came here with my family and friends to have dinner yesterday evening. Our server, Arleth, was quite obnoxious. At first, she showed friendliness through her smile. Other than being able to do the basics of her job such as come to our table and take an order, Arleth lacked any customer service skills and thus her inadequate work ethic led to zero gratuity. The restaurant itself was busy and loud at the time. I noticed she was hard of hearing when taking our order and thus several mistakes were made. The food runners brought to our table several drinks that did not belong to us. When we informed the food runner, she showed signs of irritability as if we asked her to do a job that insulted her. When Arleth took our food order, I had asked questions regarding specific entrees, and she displayed signs of confusion and irritability. Unaware of the reason for the obvious body language and tone of voice, I had a poor perception of her character and ability to conduct her job. Our table became overcrowded after receiving our entrees because of the appetizers still on the table. When Arleth was asked to “take away some of the plates”, her bearing broke and facial expression was poor; you could tell she had an attitude at this point. When she returned, we asked her to take away more plates and she rolled her eyes and smirked. Arleth did not attend to our table throughout the night unless we asked for her although, there was another table behind ours, she still made no effort to. We asked for the check and when she showed us how the check was split, we immediately noticed extra charges and the check was split incorrectly. I asked her “Can we fix this?”. At that moment, Arleth raised her voice, rolled her eyes, smirked and said “Do not talk to me that way, ok?” and ignored my question. I leaned back from how close she was to my personal space. I said, “get me your manager and another server who can close out our check professionally.” Arleth became defensive and said “You’ve been disrespect all night to me.” Being confused concerning the reasoning behind this statement, I conveyed that I no longer wanted to speak to her and that I have been respectful and kind while also requesting of her to do reasonable tasks related to her job. She said “it’s because the way you’re talking to me.” Still confused, I said “If I’m speaking loudly and affirmatively, it’s because it is loud in the restaurant and mistakes were made to our order already. However, please get me your manager. I no longer want to speak to you. If you are unable to conduct things asked of you related to your job, then there is no reason you should be working this job.” She ignored my statement and pleaded with me yet still lacking professionalism. She asked me to explain to her what was wrong with the check and when I did, she stormed off and the manager came. Ultimately, Arleth’ lack of timeliness, professionalism, respect, workplace etiquette, tact, bearing, communication and customer service skills led to her not receiving a tip. Very inappropriate behavior and response from an individual working in a restaurant. Be very cognitive of how you speak to Arleth as there is obvious sensitivity when asked to do her job. Overall, this location needs intervention. The food was cold by the time we received it and the food runners also lacked professional courtesy. Lastly, they failed to conduct the basics and therefore, may fail when given larger tasks. Absolutely the staff could benefit from a customer service, time management and communication classes.

I was waiting for my curbside order for more than 20min. In my car. When I finally decided to walk in to the restaurant to see what was going on. I let the girl in the front counter know about what was going on and she simply responded “well your food is probably not ready yet” when I had received a text that it was ready 30 min ago !!! So she then told me that I could go look in the back, with an attitude. When I went to the back it was sitting there with no one back there. What is the whole point of curbside?! When I requested curbside for 12:30 and i had to walk in myself to grab my food 20 minutes later because NO ONE cared to bring it out. I will no longer be doing curbside at this location. I lost 20 minutes of my Lunch time and customer service was horrible. No one even cared to apologize.

The service here is awful. I ordered the soup, salad, and chips. It took them 45 minutes to bring the food out. They brought the chips, took the chips... I waited as the waitress passed us about 10 times and I had to ask for my salad. This was about 10 minutes after my friend had gotten his salad. She said she assumed I had wanted it with the meal.. After I had the salad it took them longer to bring out the soup. The restaurant wasn't crazy busy... It was a typical Saturday evening. At the end when I went to pay and tried to do the survey, the touch pad was only half working.. I

Our server never came back to even check to see if we got her food never refilled one drink never offered us chips and salsa. Couldn’t order it if we wanted to the new Smashburger was terrible. And the bathroom was filthy

Eaten at just wings a few times over the years and has gotten worse. Chicken wings were really dry and they discontinued a few of their best flavors.

The service here just completely sucks and I believe it's due to preconceived attitudes. Anyway. After our order was taken- which the bartender was less than focused... we had to literally wait for him to come back and offer salt, pepper, ketchup, etc. I know it's not a big deal, but where was this guy for us to even have had to wait for these things? Sad.

I hate giving bad reviews but I wanted to put this out there so you can choose if you want to go or not. If you want to go out and have a nice enjoyable dinner out - this is not the place you want to go. If you like it loud and busy - this is your place. I will tell you I had the margarita chicken and it was really good. The young guys greeting you at the door and taking you to your seat were very nice. But that is where the good service ended And I will never go back 😞 First it was really crazy busy for a mid week day night! My friend and I had a booth in the back which was fine because we wanted to sit and visit. But - it was SO loud! Every sound echoes - including the sound of the chairs scraping the floor when someone is scooting in - this drove me crazy! People laughing, talking, it sounded like they were screaming in my ear. There were times we couldn't even hear each other from across the table. It was miserable. Our waiter was nice enough but she never came back to check in with us and no one ever came by to clean the dirty plates off our table - and we sat there for over a half hour after we finished our food. And I hated the little machine they put on your table - it was dirty and it didn't work really well. I'll also put this out there - we sat in the area to the far left of the podium as you walk in, in the back corner. That area just really echoes. Things might be different in the main dining area to the right. I do not know for sure. But it was still noisy, it just might not echo as bad. Sorry Chili's it was just too much.

3 for $10.99 use inaccurate photos, burger patties are half the size, not seasoned and way overcooked, buns old and stale. Refills of drinks come soo slow finally arriving when we pay the bill. NOT WORTH IT, like it’s their way of using left over or almost out of date food. Maybe the size for children’s however I would send it back even then. This location had no one in it at 5:45 pm… no wonder.

What a complete disaster. I used to go to Chili's regularly at this location 20 years ago. I went last night and we took the 2 grandkids. $8.00 for a dish of tortilla chips and salsa. A "holiday" margarita that was so sweet and horrible I wanted to send it back, and they wouldn't take it back. It was like Cherry Kool Aid, but even stronger sugary. Lets get on to the entree. My fiancee and I had the 3 items big Fajitas platter. I have added photos from the OLD DAYS of how it USED to look.- no way did it look like this last night! Now small bay shrimp (pathetic), the chicken was like rubber, the steak was decent. The sides were an absolute joke. Black beans that were floating in the thick watery syrup that comes out of the can they're from. 2 tablespoons of cheese. 2 tablepoons of pico de gallo. A tiny dollop of sour cream.About 1/3 cup of spanish rice. A complete JOKE. This they charge $27.00 for, and they say "it's for two".Good luck with that. I had to ask our waiter numerous times for place settings (siverware). Finally at the 3rd request he says "we are running low on forks". HOW ON EARTH can you run low on forks when it's only 5:30 in the evening, and the dinner crowd hasn't even arrived yet. Unforgivable. Our server, though nice, hammered us every 2 minutes while we were having our chips and salsa and drinks to order. I kept telling him "we are going to relax for a while, we will flag you when we are ready to order". Does he listen?? Of course not. Comes by 4 TIMES asking us if we wanted to order in like 10 minutes. The Grandboys got the chicken nugget things and those were fine. You can't mess those up. Look like something that comes out of a bag and is dumped in the deep fryer. Well, at least the kids liked them. We got home and my fiancee and I (we shared the fajitas), got sick all night and spent it in the bathroom. The oil they did the fajitas in tasted odd. I am calling Escondio Health Dept. tomorrow so they can do a restaurant/kitchen inspection. I'm going to request they examine the oil they use for the fajitas. So, for a place that I used to frequent every week in the 90's, I will now never return to. Oh, and to top it all off the two hostesses were amazing as we asked for a booth. They say "i don't think we have any right now". I walk over and there are 6 booths vacant & clean on the right side of the restaurant. One gal finally walked over and LOOKED, and came back and said "we can seat you"'. I hope the restuarant manger reads this review and takes appropriate action and gets his/her restaurant straightened out. MAYBE he can look at these photos from years back on how the Fajitas are SUPPOSED to look/be served. What a total waste of $90.00, which is ridiculous in itself for a chcken nuggets platter, and order of fajitas, 2 beers, and a $6 horrible margarita. On top of THAT, they charged $3.00 to the bill for the grandkids playing games on the handheld order/tipping ipad. One would THINK they would tell you your'e going to be charged to use it. They nickel and dime you for every last thing.

Rude new bartender! Ordered couple of beers , he poured them set them on the bar and went and checked on tables around us as he was wiping down empty tables and as he walked by I mentioned " hey beers are getting cold" and he snapped at me saying " there's other tables that need service too!".... I've been coming here for years and the usual bartender (i think his name is Sean) super nice guy that is on top of his bar etiquette, but not this new guy hes straight up rude, I won't dine here if this guy is working
