The crew working was so sweet. Cookies were hot and fresh so delicious thanks!

Loves is one of our favorite service stations. Bathrooms are clean, service people are friendly, and the store is well laid out and stocked. On this trip, the three service stations we stopped at the pumps were particularly busy. We also picked up McDonald's breakfast. Sausage biscuit was fresh. We were traveling with an F-150, pulling a 28' travel trailer.

Great experience!! 😀 Very pleasant manager (I believe) that answered the phone when I called to ✔️ on time lunch started, because app was still on breakfast. So I just went inside and ordered. There were no attitudes at the register, and my food tasted like the McDonald's I used to get when I was a kid. Thanks for the great tasting food, and pleasant service👍👍💯 It's so rare these days, so this type of service stands out! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone ☺️

OK, we like to stop at McDonald's when traveling. We always know what to expect with regard to the menu and the food is usually consistent. We stopped at the Ina McDonald's recently for a late breakfast on the way north. This store interior looks a bit worn and out of date compared with the more recently remodeled stores. Because it is co-located with a truck stop there are no dedicated bathrooms; rather, you have to go through the truck stop and use theirs. The thing that most impressed me about this particular store was the courtesy of the staff. Everyone was very pleasant and polite, with lots of "sir" and "ma'am" and "thank you". That can go a long way toward making the experience a good one. We drive this route once or twice a year and by now have stopped at probably most of the McDonald's along this section of road. Most are good, but there are one or two that we avoid. We will definitely be willing to try this one again.

McDonald's was a self-serve McDonald's if you had to have personal service they had other registers

Just a quick stop for a bite to eat. Customer experience was good. No problems with the order. There's no dining inside but you can go inside to order to go, along with the drive through and app pickup. You are not allowed to get your own drink.

One of the few occasions when McDonald's was very good! The staff up front was in good humor and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. My sandwich was missing bacon at first, BUT I'm not overly upset over it. It was fixed promptly and happily. They even let me keep the first sandwich for free (I didn't ask).

Normally good but for some reason my last visit wasn't smooth... 8 people working 4 is then handing food out the drive through... one handing out food in the dining room. She was taking orders at the same time... took a long time to get my simple order...

Great timing, fast service, alright food. My husband and I both ordered quarter pounders that were exceptionally greasy. Being a former employee for McDonald’s, I understand things get busy and you may not be able to scrape the grill every time, but we were the only car in line.

It was a good experience all the way around! The checker was so nice and patient..we had a large party and he made sure everybody's order was right..he even triple checked them to make sure..that has never happened before with any place I've been to..and afterward him and his manger made sure we had everything we needed and checked to see if we needed anything else! I was truly impressed! 👍

They get the orders wrong more times than right. Be sure to check your order before you leave. Over the years, I've had so many things wrong with my orders. I pay for extra tartar sauce - almost never get it. Ask for extra whatever on your sandwich? 50/50 if you'll get what you want/pay for.

We order a McDouble with everything but no pickle and on onion and they put everything on it. I asked for extra sweet and sour and they charged us for it and proceeded to not put it in the bag. So we go back and they give us the sweet and sour then give my husband a plain double cheeseburger 😂😂 I mean at least my McChickens was nice and hot and the fries are good and I finally got the sweet and sour but next time just make the burger.

Great service but the entire restaurant stunk of body order. Checked my pits, checked my wife's pits, then realized it's connected to a a truck stop full of dirty truckers. But the lady that came around with free cookies saved the 3 star review.

Food is usually good here, for a McDonald's. Most are terrible nowadays. Employees are underpaid and they put forth almost no effort. Drive thru is always backed up and moves slow. You can spend over a half hour here.

As usual, my items are missing something EVERY time. Always need to get things replaced. Fries are filled halfway and not always hot. With what they do get right, it's correct in the way it's ordered. 3 stars because they are always helpful and polite as well as quick to fix issues.

Holy salt on the fries and chicken nuggets were a tad over cooked. However, on a good note they got all my daughter's special requests perfect. Gave us everything we asked for and were courteous.

I ordered a steak and hotcake big breakfast this morning and got sausage instead and no butter for the hotcakes. The rest of the food was fine and the wait wasn't to long. This is a pretty average McDonald's nothing great to say here but nothing to horrible either.

Dropped by this McDonald’s around 7:36 PM, got my order at 7:46 PM — and it wasn’t even that busy. Fries? Solid. Honestly, fries are the only thing that keeps me coming back here once in a blue moon. But the Deluxe Quarter Pounder (or whatever fancy name they call it) was… eh… a 3 out of 5 on a good day. Kinda sad considering that’s supposed to be their “top” item. I ordered to eat in, but they handed it to me in a to‑go bag. And no napkins inside. Not one. Also, I ordered through the kiosk and couldn’t even find an option to add sauces. Would’ve been nice to have at least a couple thrown in automatically. Fries were tasty. Everything else? Could use some love.

Honestly none been taking out the box for a burger and half an order of fries 8.99 is too much for this type of service I even took the first box back that look exactly like this box for another box of french fries and I get the same thing from employee and on a second go-around the manager so I didn't even bother was saying something about the quantity that was in the box because I saw that not only was the employee doing the exact same thing that the manager did that must be something that is practice. So if you want the most bang for your buck do not come to this McDonald's because they going to short you on one of the most enjoyable things to get at McDonald's your fries👎👎👎👎 just to let you know I started this review out with a one-star I'm going to raise it up two three Stars because the food is fresh and it is pretty good but as you can see people that buy McDonald's fries pretty serious about their fries 😋

The guy taking the order had a rash on his left hand. It had been scratched until the top of his hand and thumb had open sores. I thought the guy with the sores was only taking as soon as we ordered he left to make the food. Of course, everyone was overly rude, but that just seems to be the normal now. Waited for about 30 mins, they have the curve up, so you can't leave once in line.

This place is bare bones. Its self service. You have to use a kiosk to order. The food came out cold. The cheese wasn't even melted on the burger. The guy working acted like it was a chore to get me 2 packs of ketchup. There were no straws, or ketchup in the public holders and you have to wait at the counter 5 plus minutes to get a refill. The only good thing that I can say about it is that its clean. The service, and food SUCK!

They got our order wrong. We told them twice at the window but nothing was done until the third time. One of our happy meals was short a nugget but again nothing was done when we told them about it. Horrible service plus 8 minutes for 2 happy meals and a crispy sandwich.

Hard to even give this place 1 star, but they won’t let me give none at all. I ordered 2 McChickens both with only cheese, and a quarterpounder combo. Both of which I waited 10 minutes in curbside for when there was no line. To start, they totally disregarded the request for only cheese on the McChickens. Not to mention the chicken itself looked just totally wrong. The quarterpounder had its own problems. The bun seemed to be stale and the cheese looked like it had been sitting on it all day. Unless you have a strong urge to use a bathroom non-stop….Save your road-trip stop for Mount Vernon. Unbelievable that this meal was that bad to write a review on.

My significant other went through after work for lunch and brought me home a sweet tea. Either they did not wash the darn container or they mixed it with old tea or something because it was SOURED! Bleh! Also, the slowest drive thru in history and has been since before covid. Really need better employees! Fix this restaurant and I will fix this review.

Instead of informing me that they didn't have the items I paid for the girl putting orders together just deleted it off the screen like it never existed. Was given the wrong size and flavor frappe, then had to wait 15min for a new one which is all I had ordered. And it was given half melted it seemed with little to no whipped cream. I have never been to a filthier McDonald's. It was horrible. And very understaffed I'm sure was the reason. There was no lobby person to clean or to take orders. You had to do it at the kiosk. There were three Mexican women that barely knew English. I doubt whether we will ever go back here.

Never got my mobile order. After waiting 13 minutes, they FINALLY decide to tell me an item still needed to cook, and it would take an additional 14 minutes. Terrible service!! The manager needs to be fired. For starter's asked for napkins out of them. Wanting to wipe a table clean to eat on every single one nasty trash can running over one of the girl's said she was going to clean the table but went out for a smoke break. The young man said his name was Wyatt that waited on us he kept on apologizing and he was the one running the register plus had to clean the tables without any help from others. Need to do a surprise inspection, I sure you will be disappointed in the results of this store. From a long haul truck driver.

Ordered a Deluxe Quarter Pounder w/ cheese combo, and a Mcdouble. They were pretty busy, it took about 25 minutes to get my food. Bare in mind, i came here because it was supposed to be fast. I had 1200 miles left to drive. Got out to the van and they had gave me a McChicken instead of the QP W/cheese Deluxe. Reentered the store, dude made me wait in line again. Eventually he gave me the correct sandwich. Only for me to get to the van and realize that they had left off everything that made it a Deluxe. I went back in, he looked pissed, walked over to me. Looked over my receipt for the 5th time and i showed him the burger and explained the problem and he was still lost. He asked what the problem was, i told him it was a Deluxe, with lettuce tomatoes etc. I pulled the sandwich apart, showed him that there were only onions and pickles. And he said what's the problem? I paid for a Deluxe and this ain't it, that's the problem. I had to tell him again that it was missing lettuce and tomatoes. He said what if i put them in a nugget box and give it to you, would that make you happy. Knowing thats probably the best I'm gonna get, i agreed. So i went back to my vehicle and assembled my own burger. Thanks Mcdonalds, best $18 that I've ever spent.

While the food is good, they take too long getting your order out. No one in drive thru but me and I waiting 15 minutes on a coffee and a couple of burgers. My husband has gone at 2 in the morning on the way to work, no one in line and waited 20 min on a burger. I was in a hurry, my kid wanted to eat and they made us late to his doctor appointment which I thought we would be early for. The service is ridiculous here.

Biscuits are supposed to be soft and fluffy not hard as rock. The hash browns were just nasty. You could taste the old grease and could tell it hasn't been changed in a while. Do not eat here high chance of food poisoning here

Absolute TRASH because why am I pulling a LONG blonde strand of HAIR out of my mouth from a bite of a hash brown at 8am on Friday morning on April 11th 2025 to be exact. GET IT TOGETHER!!! HAIR NETS & GLOVES. Be responsible!!! This isn’t my first visit to this location. I would be lying if I said that was a bad experience then but THIS TIME it IS a terrible experience. Went around lunchtime, waited 30 minutes to get our burgers and fries. No explanation offered or anything, every worker disappeared from sight. One guy had to get back to work so when he finally saw someone he asked how long it would be for his frappe and the lady said she didn't know, there's only 2 workers currently. For 30 minutes no food came out but 4 or 5 different employees came in. Then the lady that ordered after us got her iced coffee.. 30 minutes later. Then our food came out and that's when they told everyone else they were waiting on fries... why did the lady with one iced coffee need to wait for 30 minutes? It just seemed like a zoo.

It days online that they open at 4am it is now 440 and no one is here. Even if you go to the website it says its supposed to be open. I guess they make their own hours here.

I was on my way to a job sight and was going to be out working until 10:00 pm. Decided to take a chance on going through the drive thru for a quick bite. I am typically hesitant to order anything that requires customization, but thought surely a double hamburger only ketchup would be a simple enough request. Unfortunately I overestimated the employees' ability to make a sandwich with only one condiment. I get back on the road just to find out that some prankster decided to dump a pile of onions between the meat patties. Yes I am implying that this was intentional due to a couple of factors. One, I'm assuming that one needs to have a basic ability to read to work there, and two, that's not how onions should have been placed in the sandwich had I ordered them. There are simple pictures instructing how to assemble a sandwich for the employees to reference. Sadly I did not have the time to turn around off the interstate to have my order corrected and was pretty hungry by the end of the evening. If anyone is interested in addressing this with the staff on duty, mine was order number 1384 on 4/11/24, 4:42 pm.

the mechanic shop some thieves, nothing professionals do not know what they do 06/02/2022 they changed 4 tire seals, which were like 200 miles later I had to stop the trailer tires from running out of oil, now I have to change seals, bearings everything again, all because of love stop mechanics, really very upset they stole my money not to say that I was 12 hours to change 4 seals

I give this place a low rating because when I received my food, my fries were placed in the bag upside-down. My fish sandwich was made very sloppy and the temperature of my food was barely warm, and the dipping sauce I got with my nuggets had a hole punctured in the top causing sauce to get on everything. By the time I made it to my truck, my food was cold and I did not enjoy it.

Worst experience ever! Ordered Steak, egg and cheese bagel with extra onions and breakfast sauce. Bagel was not toasted, barely any onions and OMG, they did a number with the extra sauce. Stopped through on our way to Chicago. We ordered some food and it was horrible. The nuggets were like rubber, the fish sandwich was old, fries were old. The employees at the McDonald's counter were not friendly. Wish we didn't stop here. Avoid if you can. Disappointed and money waisted.

If there is more than 1 person in line please be prepared to wait 15 min or so. They grow potatoes fresh from the moment you walk in and harvest them on site. Very very sorry place. No hustle at all from employees and could care less if you stand at the counter.

I returned to my home state of Illinois recently for a funeral. I dined in at this location and must say it was horrible. Service was slow, employees non caring, and food cold. They also have an abusive employee who threatened a 7 year old child and damaged the vehicle the child was in. This epitomizes this McDonald's. I would advise visiting the locations in Mt Vernon or West City, depending on your direction of travel.

Me And my friend stopped at this McDonald’s on our way back home and my friend ordered a fry with no salt for her baby. When we got the food the fries had salt so we went to get a new set of fries . The lady who assisted us caught an attitude and told us that she “bags the food and she did it right there isn’t any salt on them” when there obviously was. The lady then proceeded to snatch the receipt very rudely out of my friends hand along with the fries. She did the same thing to another lady who had an issue with their food. Never felt so disrespected at a fast food restaurant. The manager was very nice and apologized though so we appreciate that but as someone who has worked in the fast food industry before you should never treat your customers like that regardless of the situation.

THIS WAS THE WORST MCDONALDS. Got told to pull around because of the fries, sure no problem until 5 cars all got their food when I ordered from the app. Then when I received my food, not only were the fries cold, they tasted like old grease, my McDouble was a regular cheeseburger with one singular pickle. The staff was seen interacting with other customers with smiles, conversation, and laughter meanwhile when food was brought it was very abrupt and short. Definitely felt a racist vibe. The food was very disgusting the chicken nugget meat is very soft. The oil is dirty. The fries were re-dropped. My burgers were very greasy look like they was wearing lipgloss horrible place to eat . actually, the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to! I threw up everything I tried to eat. I’m disgusted.

All I wanted was 2 hashbrowns and gravy and was told there was no gravy and asked if that was ok. It wasn't, but I changed my order to a big breakfast without hot cakes. It looks like they have me left overs, and there was nothing big about it. This is my second time coming here for breakfast and the last time the heavy was gross looking and I couldn't eat it. Second chance given and looks like there won't be a 3rd. I see a lot of horrible reviews and looks like staff could care less about quality of service and food.
