Philly Cheese Steak was delicious! Very cheezy the way I like it. Sports bar them but kid friendly. Food has all been great and large portions. My girls never finish their plates. Come check these guys out and support local. I have seen some bad reviews here but they are still new and trying to figure out what’s different for Rockwall County compared to Dallas. And leave reviews because they are seriously listening, they have seasoning on the fries now lol!
Annabelle took great care of us. Clean set up in general and the vibe was awesome! Service was quick and helpful. Definitely bring your friends for a great time.
Nice local pub, the waitress was great. My wife loved them . The food was okay a little high priced for the meals. But overall great place just to hang out in.
Great Tavern with great food and a strong drink selection! The pizza and ranch are amazing and make sure you are at the bar when Alex is there. Shes great and will take care of you!
We had such a great time at Fate Tavern in Fate, TX! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Amanda was our server and she was incredible—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We started with the pretzel appetizer, which was warm, soft, and perfectly paired with the dipping sauces. Then came the Waylon Jennings pizza—crispy crust, bold flavors, and just the right amount of kick. The Aye Yai Yai shrimp was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The food was excellent, but it was Amanda’s service that really made the experience memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
Hailey.. we had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family. Great job to the whole team
My husband and I went for lunch today. Myranda was are server, she was friendly, attentive and informative (it was are first time there) We had the fried pickles with house made ranch, a caprese salad and the Lou pizza. All in all everything was good. The fried pickles were a little on the salty side for my preference, but my husband liked that. The house made ranch was delicious. The pizza was the best part. Great crispy crust, the toppings were fresh, the meat was good quality. We really enjoyed our lunch date. We will come again.
Clean space, great food, and friendly people. The staff is very friendly. I’ve only experienced the “night” crowd and it seems to be slower close to 9, so I can’t wait to see the crowd pick up. This place has a lot of potential and is one of my newer favorites as I live close by so I’ve very persistent with telling others to give it a chance! 10/10 thank you!

Absolutely love this place! I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Madeline, and I cannot say enough about the exquisite level of care and professionalism she brought to our dining experience. From the moment we were seated, Madeline made us feel welcome and genuinely valued. Her warm demeanor, attention to detail, and intuitive timing made everything seamless. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring every request was met with a smile and efficiency. It’s rare to find someone who strikes the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving guests space to enjoy themselves—Madeline nailed it. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it truly elevated our entire evening. Service like this turns a good meal into a memorable experience. Thank you, Madeline, for your exquisite service—we’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for you!
Great staff and AMAZING food. Pizza is AWESOME if you’re looking for a thin (and crispy) crust with plenty of toppings. Sandwiches are huge! Wife and I both got one and now have leftovers for dinner. Great selection of draft beers as well! Would recommend! Shoutout to Angela for the extraordinary service this visit.
Fate Village Tavern is truly one of a kind! It’s the kind of pub where everyone knows your name, and you’re instantly made to feel like part of the family. From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly vibe wrap around you like a warm blanket. The bartender? Absolutely hilarious—quick with a joke, great conversation. Whether you're planning a casual night out with friends or looking for the perfect spot to impress a date, Fate Village Tavern hits the mark.
This is a little gem we found out set off in fate. If you are looking for good pizza and a place to play some pool this is a great place to go. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and even let us use his phone for the QR-coded menu because my husband's phone died. There was just an overall good vibe to the place and we were surprised to find a nice little place like that hidden in fate. We will definitely be back again.

Shorty was an amazing bartender, knows real quick whats what and makes them, she was super friendly, cute and helpfull. The food took a bit to arrive but we got the apetizers to hold us up and we played pool mean while, but hey that says that they really cooked the food from scratch unlike other places with frozen and real quick easy made food. The enviroment was quiet for a saturday night, people where nice, place was clean. First time here, will be coming back for sure.

I’ve been coming to this place since they have opened and everyone is so welcoming. The atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful. It’s a family friendly place during the day so we bring our 3 year old daughter in to eat the pizza. She adores the staff and they are so kind and good with her. Angela is my favorite bartender, she’s a baddie with a great attitude. 5 stars all the way around!! This will be our new spot for sure.
They just opened and we stopped by for dinner. Great set up for watching sports, the servers were attentive and quick to get us drinks. If bar food is what you’re looking for and to watch some games this is the place. The food was not as good as we had hoped, but they are newly opened, so some patience is needed. The Cadillac margarita was great!
So this place just open up a few weeks ago, so there are some kinks that need to be work out like any another place you go! We had a small issue and the owner came over and apologized & fixed the issue right away! We will be definitely coming back to give it another shot! The atmosphere is chill, & a great spot to watch the game with friends and have a drink. I see a lot of negative reviews, but honestly we should be supporting more small businesses in our town, like we support big corporations… I’m a Big believer of supporting a small business , because when you do you also support a dream !
First time, if you’re looking for a bar hangout area this is your place. Place hasn’t been open too long. Not much of a family friendly restaurant. We tried their Tavern pizza and it was good, and their house made ranch also good flavor. Place does look clean. You seat your self and you scan the QR code for the menu. Our waiter was nice, he didn’t now much what too recommend, but their house items and pizza. He said the pizza for tonight was half off but at the end we were charged full price. He was a bit of everywhere. They will charge you extra for side dips including the reach $1 more each and also if you’re paying with card you will be charged a fee. Not sure if I would come back, the music was a bit too loud.

The food is okay. I ordered a large pizza and it was a whopping $32 and it's about the size of the large dominos pizza but double the price. Believe it or not it tastes just like the Aldi pizza. It sells at Aldi for $9. My daughter ordered the wing basket which is $16.50, does not cone with fries only wings and a couple carrots and celery. The wings were also just okay. Nothing to rave about them. They were very simple. The beer, all they have is local beer on draft. So for dinner for 2 with 2 beers and 1 soda with tip was $85. That to me is too high. You are pretty much paying for the atmosphere which was really nice.

Unfortunately, it's a tavern that doesn't know how to make tavern style pizza correctly. My wife got the deluxe (supreme) pizza. Not only was the crust too thick for tavern style, the bottom of the crust was also completely burnt. The unfortunate part is that they had to burn the bottom of it in order to hold the mountain of olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, and jalapeños that all look like they were put on the pizza after it was already cooked. All in all, it was a pizza that was burnt on the bottom and uncooked veggies on top.
I withheld my review from my initial visit due to being new and dealing with opening pains. Upon my return a couple months later, things are actually worse. Kinda surprised. Lots of potential, but it appears management is an issue, as I initially suspected. Service is slow, kids running around the bar at 9:30 on a Friday night running off pool players. Not the vibe most folks are looking for in a pool hall “tavern” bar environment. Just poorly run. There are great options in the area and unfortunately the Fate Village Tavern doesn’t hit the mark.

It was uncomfortably cold inside. Like walking around the refrigerated section of a grocery store. It is not family friendly in that they don't have a kids menu or cups with lids. It was almost empty but still took 10 minutes to get me a water. The pizza crust was crunchy but dense like unleavened bread. The toppings and sauce were good though. The fried pickles were fine. Cesar wrap had way too much dressing. The pretzel was pretty decent. The seasoning on the fries tasted like eating raw paprika powder which was odd. And the burger was definitely not worth $15. Overall a disappointment and I doubt we'll be going back.

Came in for a lunch with the family. There was only two tables with people when we got there. Ordered fried pickles as an appetizer which were thinly cut and over fried... It was like eating fried salt. Only had a few and was out of water since it made me so thirsty. Took almost 30 minutes for a refill - which I had to specifically ask her for. Ordered chicken parm sandwich which was very dry. I couldn't eat it. The food quality is the worst in Fate. The service was apathetic, but friendly when attentive... The environment is very dark which is sensible for the theme, but perhaps too dark. Another family asked them to turn lights on and they did. We spent roughly $70 and all we actually ate was some of the awful fried pickles and bread from the chicken parm. Kids got cheese pizza and ate most of it. The pizza sauce was very strange though. In short, food was below any standard I'd be willing to pay for. The service was below any standard I'm willing to pay for. The environment was fine but certainly could improve. Hope this is helpful if you're debating on a lunch at this restaurant. Maybe it's better at dinner when a better cook and experienced waiters are present.
