We had an amazing dinner. My husband is gluten free and the staff was so accommodating. I had the salmon- it was a huge portion and delicious. My husband had the chicken and loved it. Amin and his crew took great care of us and we ended the dinner with limoncello. Will be back!

Our waiter, Pino, was a true professional: very friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented. He offered us one wonderful dish after another and took special care of my little brother with warmth and genuine kindness rarely seen. I LOVED this restaurant. First, the service from Pino was exceptional. He took the time to go over any questions we had about the food items and was so kind in general. We ordered a few appetizers that were all great, but the real stars of the show were the pappardelle with wild boar and the Florentine steak. I visit Florence frequently and I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list as a must stop every time. Thank you il Cavallino!

Service was great! Food - portion size was good but over priced and the taste didn’t impress me at all. Atmosphere - people smoking next to us. It’s not the restaurants fault. Heating fire and plackets kept us warm.Staff are very helpful and nice. We had 2 pasta and 2 drinks = 65Euro! That’s definitely overpriced.

After a full day exploring Florence we stopped at Cavallino for a light dinner. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and we chose a table outside. After checking the menu, here’s what we ordered along with our ratings : 1. Margherita pizza – 3/5 2. Zucca (pumpkin soup) – 4/5 The food was good, though we were caught off guard by a coperto that came to almost a third of the total bill. We’ve eaten in Milan, Venice and Florence before and hadn’t seen cover charges that high. Service was smooth and the food arrived quickly.

Of course, this place is a total tourist trap—what did people expect, real Italian food in such a touristy piazza? Lol! That being said, we had a great time. The view is incredible, and the servers were typical of many Italian spots—kind of brusque, but they answered all our questions without making us feel bad. We even asked to swap the spaghetti in one dish for a different type of pasta, and they were happy to accommodate. Looking at the beautiful sculptures while we dined made it all worth it. My pizza was fantastic! When you're on vacation, sometimes you just need to relax and go with the flow!

It was from all the Pastas I had in italy the most blend one. Prices are a little higher, probably because you ate close to the neptunus sculpture on the plaza. I would not go back a second time .

Sono stato con mio padre in questo ristorante molto centrale a Firenze, precisamente a Piazza della Signoria. Sono stato attirato da un offerta per la quale per 38€ si può mangiare un antipasto composto da tre bruschette, una bistecca da 500 g con delle patate arrosto e un calice di vino rosso. Sono rimasto deluso, era e si è ovviamente dimostrata una mossa "acchiappa turisti", perché abbiamo preso due bottiglie d'acqua e sono venute 7 € l'una, un secondo calice di rosso ( di qualità pessima ) pagato 9 € e un altro contorno, dei fagioli e il conto è stato salatissimo, 130 €. Tralasciando il conto, le patate erano cotte a metà, la carne poca e bruciacchiata, diciamo che se non per la posizione, ha davvero poco senso andarci.

I do not recommend this place. The food is not good. We ordered pizza, and the only thing that was decent was the dough — everything else was just awful. The latte coffee was a nightmare in taste, as if the coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned. Not to mention the toilets, which were in a terrible condition. Think twice before ordering here. One star for the location with a view of the square, and the second for the waiter who can sell you anything.

Esageratamente inappropriato. Qualità del cibo scadente,il risotto primavera era un riso bollito+verdure,neanche minimamente avvicinabile al sapore di un risotto. Spritz 10 euro,1calice di chianti pari a 3 cm 9 euro, coperto 6 euro,caffè 3.50 euro, peggio di Piazza San Marco. Si è salvato l antipasto della casa e il piatto di crudo e bufala.Tutto ciò per la bellezza di 97 euro per 2 persone. NON CONSIGLIATO!

Facilmente potrei descriverlo come il peggior ristorante che in Cui abbia mangiato a Firenze. Il cibo è scadente, l’insalata cesar era immangiabile. Una truffa!! Questo pseudo-ristorante attira il turista con pubblicità ingannevoli. Abbiamo mangiato una fiorentina, e almeno quella era buona. Il contorno di patate che ci è stato presentato insieme alla bistecca non bastava nemmeno per un bambino. Il conto è stata l’ennesima truffa di questo locale. Se siete turisti e capitate in questo locale, scappate quando siete ancora in tempo. Ps: non fidatevi dei menù esposti all’esterno!! L’unica nota positiva è la location.

Attenzione alla sorpresa finale, acqua minerale da 75 cl pagata 6€, che neanche se ci fosse oro dentro, e coperto pagato 9€ per 2 persone. Quarti pezzi ovviamente sono poco visibili nei menu, inoltre l’acqua ce l’hanno portata prima ancora di portarci i menù. Non andate in questo posto. C’è molto meglio altrove

In pieno centro a piazza delle signoria avete commesso un reato alla tradizione toscana! Ordiniamo una bistecca alla fiorentina arriva congelata . Food is terrible. Bread is super hard. Orange juice taste like tang. Asked for the egg to be less cooked and runny. The cook went opposite and fried it. Bacon was salty. I tried explaining the waiter that the eggs were over cooked and he ignored. 18 euros for this. Don’t come.

I would leave zero if I could. Bad service. Server seemed pissed at everything. Worse food. We got a Fiorentina pizza and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had in Italy. Tasted like cheese whiz. My girlfriend had a drink and it was pure vodka with a hint of diluted juice. Can’t call any of this food or cocktails. The only reason they are still open is the location and view.
