I'm writing this review here while eating😂 Zoe's is awesome not just the person but the restaurant. She's a true NY Puerto Rican. The food I has was absolutely delicious. Zoe's kindness is contagious. She also covers the deli(ready) food. That keeps the food more fresh. The price is good as well. She has dessert, bottled drinks, even 2 liters. This place would be perfect to call ahead and just pick up. I'm definitely coming back.

I must say that Zoe's is a great place is you want some delicious Puerto Rician food! The food brought me back to my mother-in-law kitchen and eating her food. I had the chunk chicken with yellow rice and beans..the rice is served in a caldero pot,my husband had pernil with yellow rice and beans, and of course tostones with garlic sauce..the service was great..if you want a taste of homemade food...go to Zoe's, you won't be disappointed!

My family & I were staying at Lego Land and were looking for a good Spanish place to eat. We found Zoe’s cafe and loved it so much we came back the next day also. Food was delicious, a perfect portion, and staff was very friendly. 10/10, would definitely come back.

My wife and I just happened to find Zoe’s as we were exploring the area. My wife enjoyed the pernil with rice and beans and I had a great chicken stew. It’s nice to find these hidden gems that are all around if you just take a moment to look! Stop in, have a conversation with the staff and enjoy a great meal. Thanks Zoe’s

The food here is absolutely delicious. I got the chopped sandwich and my wife got the beef stew, both were amazing. And the service is also fantastic. They were so sweet with my daughter and made us feel like we were home. We will come back every chance we get and recommend you come first chance you get.

This is a cute little place worth the trip. The food has a lot of flavor. I really like their empanadas and tostones. The garlic sauce is too very very good.

Decided to stop and eat on our way to Middletown. Craving a hot cooked meal. It was simply outstanding! The nicest people cooking delicious food. The Cuban sandwich was huge and so well done. The bread was perfect. We especially loved the Friday special Shrimp Soup with rice. Thank you Zoe’s for a hot, comforting and delicious meal!

Food was delicious, the sancocho hit the spot and their lechon is delicious and well made. Food feels like Abuela made it. Salsa music playing made me want to dance and really added to the vibe. The decor is beautiful with portraits of san juan and musical instruments hanging on the wall. Service was professional, no complaints.

Zoes provided catering services for my daughter's baby shower, and we were unsure of the appropriate quantity of food required. Their team assisted us in determining the necessary amount. The cuisine was exceptionally well-received, representing a distinct departure from typical Spanish fare. We continued to receive positive feedback regarding the meal for several days following the event. High-quality Puerto Rican cuisine is a rarity in this area.

Zoe’s Latin Cafe catered our wedding cocktail hour and absolutely blew us away! The Puerto Rican food was amazing, and the empanadas were the best we’ve ever had. The owner, Juliana, was such a pleasure to work with. Our guests loved everything—highly recommend!

Best Caribbean food we’ve had outside the Caribbean. Everything was excellent. Pernil, plantains, yucca fries, and the Cuban. Great empanadas too. and big portions. Highly recommended.

How lucky we were to find Zoe’s tonight! Based on a Google search and reviews (so I’m returning the karma) I found Zoe’s. Looks just like the pictures (so cute!) and the food is delicious beyond words or images. We had the pastelón appetizer (5 stars), roast pork entree (5 stars), pork chops (5 stars), baked chicken (5 stars), and 2 kids meals of empanadas (the kids ate well!) We all had the rice & beans, I had the arroz con gandules, maduros… every single thing was delicious! And the owner, Juliana, is the nicest person who chatted with us and made us feel so welcome. The music was going, I tried to dance a little salsa with the kids… you will feel at home here. Can’t wait to come back in the fall! Zoe’s is now bookmarked on my “Places To Eat” list 💕

My family and I enjoy everything about this place. If you're looking for Authentic portorican food this is your place. The people are extremely welcoming and always happy and the store front is so cute from the outside seating and the inside with all of the portorican touches and art. Then you have the food. Omg the absolute best I've tasted in a long time. I will keep making the 3hrs drive just to sit and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I don’t even know where to begin. This was by far the best Puerto Rican food I’ve ever had. And my fiancé is Puerto Rican so I’ve had my fair share. The service was excellent and the owner was incredibly friendly and personable. We actually chatted with her the whole time! I am not easily impressed by restaurants in this area but man, did this one blow me away. Please do yourself a favor and try it!! You will not be disappointed!!

Perfectly crisp and meaty empanadas, and the most DECADENT sweet plantains I've ever had. I can't wait to go back again!! Edit to add: this has now become one of my regular spots and I get a lunch special at LEAST once a week from Zoe's. I send all my friends here because the staff is friendly and the food fills your belly and soul <3

Our family was apple/pumpkin picking nearby. We were looking for a place to eat and we were happy we stumbled upon Zoe's! The place is very small, and so I recommend you call to ask if there are any available tables. The owner informed us that they are used to having people order take out. You could tell they were a tad flustered, but very apologetic for the delays. The wait was worth it, because as a Puertorican myself, I can tell you that every bite felt like home. Everything was seasoned well, and the portions were satisfying. Small recommendations is having the eating utensils available and a few other things on the appetizers menu like zorullos and mofonguitos!

Just wow! After moving up here finding a good Spanish place is a bit difficult and Zoe’s cafe did it for me in every way with an explosion of flavors, slow cooked pernil and a mojo that you can put on just about anything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Juliana was so welcoming upon entering the restaurant. Ordered bacalaoitos, alcapurrias and shrimp empanadas for appetizers. The shrimp empanadas were out of this world. The dough was light and crispy and the filling was so flavorful. The alcapurrias were massive and flavorful too. Ordered the pernil (roast pork) with rice and pigeon peas and tostones with the real garlicky dip. The rest of the staff were so pleasant too. If I'm ever in that area again I'll most definitely eat there again.

The food here is always good, but sometimes the service is a bit slow for dining in. On my last visit, I ordered a family meal which should’ve came with a soda, but it wasn’t offered to me. A bit inconvenient to go back to get it when you live 25 minutes away. They did make sure to give another receipt asking for tip though, which was a bit off putting.

Ordered a steak sandwich with cheese and got an extremely unappetizing piece of grey meat that had an off flavor and no discernible seasoning. See attached photo. Also had to wait an extra 15 minutes beyond the pick up time provided. Employee apologized for the wait, but it’s a red flag that they’re unable to cook a steak properly (it looks and tastes boiled!) and use a quality of meat that I wouldn’t feed my dog. Will not be returning.
