My experience in this restaurant was fantastic! I am an 8 year old and i hate spicy food but the spice level at this place exactly met my level! I ordered Shrimp 65 which was amazingly delicious. The shrimp was crunchy from outside and soft inside and the taste was ecstatic!! I also ordered some paneer kebabs. They brought me a sizzling dish which was colorful and equally delicious!! I also tasted a little bit of what my parents ordered. They did order some really spicy food but I loved the flavor of their dishes as well!! I highly recommend this restaurant to other kids. Just mention the spice level you need and they'll get you the exact flavorful dish right on time!!
Brought my mother here for dinner and we had a delicious meal and lovely experience! Gobi Manchuria was our favorite! Entrees were lamb Tikka masala and I asked for a special order of methi mutter malai paneer - both were super yummy! Definitely try the masala tea and the mango lassi! Left full and happy 😊 our waiter was very sweet and guided us well. Thank you for a great treat!
Fantastic spot in FloMo serving a plethora of flavorful dishes! Went with my standard Chicken Tikka Masala, rice ...added garlic naan and couldn't have been happier. The Chicken Vindaloo is also a tasty menu item here. Love it!
I decided to give this place a try and it was absolutely amazing food. I got the butter chicken, white rice and garlic naan. Everything was so flavorful. 100% recommend to those wanting to try this place out!
Found while trying to locate something in Flower Mound ! What a treat - Chocolate Dosa for Kids. Awesome Wada Masala Chai - that I had the pleasure of sipping from the saucer ☕. South Indian Selection was excellent Biryani - not Dum or Hyd but usual stuff. 5* raita - Yes grated carrots ✅ Masala Dosas are good too. Simmi thanks for all your patience and putting up with Hyderabadis....this is for you and Begum Bazar 🏆 You will see us back soon.
Our first note is that many Indians eat here, judging by our visit, so that is a good sign of how good the food is. The staff was very attentive and made sure we liked everything. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala with medium spice and it was perfect and fantastic. He had the Lamb Vindaloo, spicy spice, and he said the spice level was perfect, and the spice level did not overwhelm the flavor. so far, my favorite Indian restaurant in the vicinity.
If you like Indian food I would definitely recommend this place. We were a group of 8 people and we ordered a few dishes. The highlight is the speed which the food was served. I thought they may have reheated the food, I was wrong every food was so delicious. We requested our food to be less spicy and that's what we got. The service was excellent. Need to put a word for lekshmi she was super nice and efficient. I would recommend to all try this place. It's a bit on the pricey side compared to others but it's good quantity. I would suggest to order a few dishes and share. Superb!!!
Great taste, nice and fresh flavors of ethnic Indian Cuisine. Fresh Food. Great Taste. Quick Service. Enough seating space for group. Fair parking space Nice ambience. Talking about food.. it met my expectations. Be it chicken pakoda, goat curry or bread options this resturant is going to go Miles .
Apollo fish is the best. Chicken 65 was okay. Veg starters veg Manchurian and paneer chilli was average. Malai kofta hai had just 3 small koftas. Chicken Chettinad also had 4 chicken peices. Upon asking they gave us one more order of chicken chettinad. Naans were very soft and freshly made. The server was very polite. Overall a good experience.
In this time we ordered the food with Indian spice. The food was good. The Chi Nadu curry was really nice with the Tadka. The garlic naan and roti was also good vegetarian biryani was also ordered with Indian spice and it was really spicy so but it was it taste better with Indian spice level. It was a busy day with a lot of people, but they made it. They made sure that they gave a good proper indication that it’s going to be a little bit delayed and also so well.
Intimate restaurant with good food. Appears to be a family owned small business and we really enjoyed our meal. Service was a bit slow, as they were pretty busy. However, our server was adorable and fun, quick to make a recommendation and took a moment to visit at each table - this made up for the delay in our water refills. The water is served in a carafe and poured into hammered stainless cups where it stayed very cold. Perfect on such a hot day. Other items were also served in beautiful hammered stainless. I ordered the butter curry (chicken) mild and it was delicious. The cheese naan was also very good while the garlic naan wasn’t very flavorful. The rice was very plain, I did expect seasonings and spices but there were none. However, once you take a bite with the curry, it didn’t matter because the curry had great flavor. My husband ordered the chicken vindaloo and said it had a nice kick to it. He really enjoyed it. My primary disappointment was the size of the entrees. There was a nice helping of basmati rice but not as large a helping of the chicken dishes as we are accustomed from other local Indian restaurants. That being said, we will plan to visit again. The menu has quite a variety - I only wish they would describe the dishes. But, alas, Google helped us out there!
The Indian food is pretty good here. I know the other reviews rave about it but I don’t think it’s the best I’ve had. The samosas at the India Bazaar are tastier in my opinion than the ones here. Portions are good. The lamb curry was very good but I do with there was more meat. The chicken jafrezi was good although I thought there would be more vegetables in the curry but there are only peppers and onions. The tikka masala was good but a little sweet tasting. I’ve never tasted one this sweet before. I don’t normally like it sweet but it was ok. I will say that we took home the leftovers and it tasted better the next day. The naan was not very good. It wasn’t fluffy. It didn’t taste like it was made with yogurt. The roti was ok but not noteworthy. The restaurant wasn’t busy for in-dining on a Saturday which was surprising. I did notice the take-out was super busy though. I think a lot of people like this place. It didn’t WOW me but it was pretty good overall.
We ordered Dal Makhani, Channa Palak and Bullet Naan. Bullet Naan was amazing it was thin crispy and spicy, just like how it is supposed to be. I recommend it. Channa Palak was good, but the Dal Makhani was not good. It was too thick and was not like how Dal Makhani is supposed to be.
We lived in the Middle East before moving to FM and quite frequently had Indian food there. The Indian food in this restaurant here did not meet our expectations at all.
We tasted their food in a party as they were caterers for that party. We specifically liked the bone in karvepaku chicken vepudu. We wanted to order that last night to see if they maintain the same taste for our upcoming party. We told the girl that picked up our phone call that we wanted bone in karvepaku chicken vepudu. She said they have it. When I went there to pick up, I checked with her couple more times if its a bone in or bone less appetizer because from the box itself, it didnt look like it. She insisted they have the correct item for me. When we went there, the restaurant was absolutely empty on a saturday at 6:30PM. That should have been an indicator enough for me to not order from this place. So I came home to find out that it was not the item that I wanted. It was small pieces of boneless chicken with some additional masala mix. From the very first bite itself, we noticed that it was a bit off but we ate few bites of it in the evening. We didn't eat anything besides their chicken in the evening and went to bed pretty early. The whole night we were suffering from stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. It was so bad that we still feel crampy as I am writing this review at 10AM and we have a 1 year old to take care of at home. I am definitely going to file a complaint on BBB and probably the local health department. You guys lied to me and fed me stale chicken for what ever little money you could make from my one order. I dont think you are going to sustain this kind of bad business for a long time.
My wife and I had an utterly deplorable experience at this restaurant. Despite being the only customers, we were greeted not just with rudeness but with a complete lack of professionalism. Right at the entrance, we were met by a day-old Uber Eats order abandoned on the floor (I have a pic taken of it), setting the tone for the neglect to come. When we requested a specific table, the host snapped, “That table is too big for you,” treating us like we were unworthy of basic courtesy. The service only worsened—no smiles, no warmth, just a condescending attitude that made us feel like we were begging for a free meal at a soup kitchen. Honestly, soup kitchens show more respect and care. Unlike the forgotten Uber Eats bag, which at least didn’t frown or show frustration, the staff’s demeanor was actively hostile. We left before even trying the food, so we can’t comment on that, but based on the abysmal service and disregard for basic hospitality, we absolutely cannot recommend this place. Save your time and dignity—go somewhere else.
We ordered food her for take out $150 worths of food for thanksgiving. We had to throw it away because we found raw chicken in one of the curries. I loved this place but now I’m scared to go back. Upsetting I lost a lot of money for thanksgiving and had to throw it away and now possibly will get salmonella poisoning.
They serve frozen Costco spring rolls. Moreover the ones we got turned out still cold as ice on the inside. Didn't even properly heat it. They even admitted that they were indeed frozen spring rolls that were being served. Also ordered the kadai paneer which was mediocre at best. Paneer biryani was the only decent thing we got. Service was slow and the couches, tables dirty. Not a great experience at all
Vegetarians beware. Wife and I previously had a good experience that was ruined by this bad experience... quickly. Order: Butter Chicken and Vegetable Biryani (which should be renamed to potato biryani) Issue: Bones in everything... even the vegetable biryani. At first I thought some of it was some sort of spice/flavoring/seed, but my wife suddenly pulled out a bone from her biryani. We tried to eat through what we could be ultimately threw away the food and called the restaurant who insisted we bring back the food so the kitchen look at it. The assured us "the biryani is cooked separately" yet... there was definitely bones in there. (Check the picture of the biryani for one long bone.) We did not accept the offer to go out of our way to "bring the food back so they can investigate and check." Quite honestly that's a bit gross, and the fact I am going out of my way to call and inform them of this is ludicrous. Maybe someone in the past scammed them, but we even offered to show the pictures and we didn't even mention compensation. Due to this, we will no longer eat here we cannot trust that quality of the food and if you are vegetarian I highly suggest you see what the resolution of this is. If you indeed want to reach out to me in regards to this feel free to refund the ID number on that receipt and post an email where I can reach out to you. However, if you try and refute by stating "we offered for you to bring back the food." Then I do not believe we have any reason to communicate and this review will remain. The wife and I will have to search for a new Indian cuisine place in Flower Mound.
