Avis sur Champion Pizza Flushing
So I went here about 6/7 hours ago and to say I had a unique experience would be a understatement. It was definitely good quality pizza only thing is there was a big chunk of seamen on my pizza. I would leave a 1 star review but the taste of the seamen with the pizza was actually very good so I’m leaveing 5 stars!☺️🙏🥰🤤
It's a very nice place. The pizza is delicious. I was just there 15 mins ago to order food and everything is very standardized. I ordered two regular slices and garlic nuts. There is a free soda that comes with it so I am writing this review. The price is affordable and I recommend everyone to visit the store. It's one of my favorite store. They give a free soda. I would recommend everyone who visited this store to rate this store. Thank you!
The pizza flavors are very unique and delicious here. I have been here before and to other Champion Pizza locations in the city also. This place has a very interesting history and the owner/founder is a very well known pizza chef. There are so many unique flavors but today I decided to just get a classic: pepperoni. The pepperoni here is very interesting. I love how the pepperoni pieces are all curved like little tiny bowls of meat.
Solid pizza, especially for Flushing. For anyone who has traveled through flushing frequently, they are well aware that good pizza is hard to find. While champion pizza can be easily beaten on Manhattan Island, in Flushing your options are limited. It is definitely a solid pizza and worth a try if you’re in Flushing and need something besides Chinese food. This will become a frequent stop of mine as it is a lot more convenient than a 40+ min ride on the 7 to Midtown.
10 stars!! The pizza was so delicious! Extra thin crust, crispy and flavors are homemade authentic and high quality. Tomato sauce is really good. Such a nice addition to Flushing, it’s upscale and fancy compared to other pizza places, and service was so nice too. The manager and staff were super friendly and hardworking and they accept credit/debit here! Woohoo I’m coming back for more. They heat up the pizza fast too and it’s great to grab and go, and they have nice seating if you want to sit down and eat too.
Quite good pizza with decent prices and a convenient location. The chicken on the slices don't have much flavor though. Would be willing to pay like an additional 25¢ or something to have more flavor
All $5 each for a slice We ordered: -Bianca -mac and cheese -Philly cheese steak The pizza is good but the service is ok. They told me my order wasn’t ready but it was for the past 10 minutes so make sure you ask the guy working there.
Came in today cause “luckily” champion pizza was open after the blizzard. Was originally pretty much ignored for the first couple minutes when i came in. Ordered 5 plain slices. Did not order it well done let me start of with that. I started looking around the store and all i could notice were these “can i get a selfie?” pictures of the owner with random celebrities and also repeating reviews or articles about the owner/store printed and plaqued on the wall. now granted this is typical of any pizzeria/restaurant but why have the same one over and over? was it just something to cover the wall or to have every customer at your tables provided a good view to read about the owner. It seems as hes so self absorbed the owner doesn’t train his workers the right way to run a pizza shop cause after ignoring me pretty much for their own conversation they stacked all five slices on top of each other in one box. Ruined 3/5 with the cheese laying on top of each other and don’t worry the other two were burnt anyway from how long they were in the oven. First time visit and won’t be returning. Lucia’s better anyway. Champion pizza not the champion today.
I’ve had a better pizza if you want something quick bite to eat. I guess you could stop here. The pizza was cold after ordering and I guess it heated up but maybe the oven wasn’t as hot server was new but she seems pretty nice. Was charged $10 at first and then price changed to seven dollars. I guess it was two slices for seven not much of a bad price but I wouldn’t see myself coming into eat pizza here over and over again different style new age to a pizza of NYC opposed to the pizzeria as I’m so accustomed to the beef patties and cheeses a great garlic knots with marinara sauce the guys on the side making the dough from scratch but you know I guess if you want a nice photo album and some content this is a good place to stop by.
Just stopped in because I was walking by. Afterward, Noticed it got alot of praise online. Have to say, pretty overrated. I got a slice with pepperoni, the pizza itself was very basic, tasted like it was reheated more than once. The pepperoni was the best part, nice, crispy and a little spicy. Honestly don't see myself ever wanting to go back.
The chicken habanero bowl is a letdown. It was not as advertised. It was boneless chicken pieces with fries that look less than McDonald's and sprayed with sauce. The cook was giving me an issue and my friend had to reiterate what I told him in Spanish and then he said ok. Such a letdown. See photo what was advertised vs what I received.
Champion pizza is horrible! They need to relocate out of Flushing. You’re better off going a few doors down to Lucia if you want real pizza. I do not recommend this garbage. $1.50 pizza taste better to be honest.
Terrible experience. I ordered takeout online and when I went to pick it up, the cashier kept picking up the phone and hanging up — over and over. It honestly seemed like they didn’t even want customers. The handoff was rude and dismissive, like serving me was a hassle. And the pizza? Tasted frozen and flavorless — honestly, even Costco’s frozen pizza is better. Definitely not coming back.
Definitely Not What We Expected… I visited with my family, and we were really looking forward to trying this place—but unfortunately, it was kind of a letdown. We ordered the Sriracha Chicken Bowl expecting something similar to the photos on their menu: a proper bowl with rice, chicken, scallions, pickles, and sauce—like a Chipotle-style bowl. Instead, we received boneless fried chicken pieces next to medium-cut French fries, drenched in sauce. No rice, no scallions, no pickles. Just… surprise fries 😂 The woman working there was kind and refunded our separate fries order, which we appreciated. This didn’t seem like a staff issue—it feels like a marketing/menu issue that really needs updating. Another thing that confused us: the wall of celebrity photos. None of them were taken at this location—it looked more like the owner took selfies with celebs somewhere else and displayed them here. I literally paused at the Kevin Hart pic like… what’s he doing on Roosevelt Ave? 😅 Honestly, we left wishing we had just gone to the cute bakery nearby instead. Just sharing our experience so others know what to expect. Hoping the owners consider updating their menu images and descriptions so they’re more in alignment with what’s actually served.
