My aunt says this is a northern Chinese dongbei food. I really love the lamb soup here it’s like the ones in Mongolian hot pot. I also like the pumpkin fried sesame pancake. I was not a fan of the oblong cornbread. It was super dry but the rest of the dishes are authentic and good. Portions are huge.
Went on sunday with a friend, we honestly just got in to get refuge from the rain.. but we were really pleasantly surprised! food was great (very generous portions), prices were good.
I don’t understand why their rating is so low while they have so many returning customers! In other words, the owner doesn’t care about bad reviews because they are indeed good taste! I have been their customer for the past 5 years, love it and will love them as long as they survive! Good Chinese restaurant!
My favorite DongBei food Delicious and nice price Today is didn’t order Squirrel fish, but that is my favorite
If you want authentic northern Chinese cuisines, this is the place in New York. PERIOD. Serving size is a steal for the price. Waitresses are extremely attentive and thoughtful. Vibe or atmosphere is perfectly compatible with northern China foods.
Head therapy, massage and ear picking are great

Lovely and fancy! It is a nice restaurant with authentic Chinese food. My father and I really enjoyed our food. Everything was perfect. It was a bit hard ordering because of a language barrier but everything still worked out. I would come here again.
Very delicious Chinese food. Almost same taste as we have in China. Also the price is good.
Very good. Good portion, too. Staffs are nice. The cat was cute.
REALLY GOOD FOOD... If you know what to order, which might explain all the low reviews...those reviewers just didn't order the right things. It's not your typical Chinese takeout restaurant and if you order the regular takeout dishes, they're probably going to be average at best. What you want to get are their spicy dishes with lamb or beef. Get the sweet and sour whole fish that comes with a large bowl of fish soup, the soup is slightly peppery with a mild fish stew flavor that warms your soul. Their lamb chops are cooked well, very meaty and coated with peppercorns that you can brush off to taste the subtle spice it leaves behind. Great food, good service, this is a true hole in the wall and I hope those low reviewers don't come back cause that means it stays a hidden gem 😏

Not sure why the all low star reviews, probably local uncle and auntie don’t come to write Google reviews. A friend recommended us to try this spot, and it was good. For their prices in today’s market, very affordable and big portion. Food is made when ordered, fish was fresh. Their spicy is different from Szechuan spots, where they are a northeastern region cuisine, so don’t expect ma-la, just kick in the mouth spicy, not complaining, just new experiences. Flavor is not top notch, but more like better than mom cooking. Lol the servers are friendly and attentive. It gets loud in there though, tables are closed to each other and patrons are mainly men and they can get loud. Beer is $3/bottle, where else can I get that deal?! I would recommend, if you want authentic Chinese northeastern food, but if you are looking for nice interior and ambiance, then this is def not the spot for you. If you are like me, price/portion/quality for ingredients, give them a try. They actually get busy fast, most tables actually made reservations ahead to ensure a table.
The food is good and the price is cheap. Northern cuisine flavor. One bad thing it that the waitress is not that welcoming but I like it. I don't like waitress asking how is the food. My logic is that if the food sucks, I will reach to you first instead of you reaching me. 4 stars, the service made them lose one star

General Tso’s chicken portion was not good, mostly breading and taste was not great. Shredded potato was alright tasting.

To be honest ,I called them to make sure I prefer less oil but when I am ready to eat it’s terrible there’s too much oil and the cauliflower wasn’t cooked and please followed the instructions

Terrible experience. Ordered a seafood soup and the photo had clams, scallop, etc. The soup we got had nothing but tofu and fake crab meat.
Not fresh, a bit spoiled

Poor customer service from the waitress and she demanded 15% service for her no service experience. She also lied to us that there was no lunch special but turned around and let out customers order lunch special for take out. The food was seven but with the nasty service there is no way we are going back. 服务差,还要求15%小費。
Disgusting place, hair and stone in the dish. Boss w/o education not know how to present food either dine in or take out… all dish messy with oil or not fresh veg/meat
They were spray painting flowers blue. This was cheap can spray paint like sed for graffiti. Really? You buy artificially painted flowers? They are adapting to US "Marketing"
Ordered food at 11:45pm and then went to pick it up. They said they were closed but it says they're open til 1am. Acted like I never ordered and I'm 100% sure it was them I ordered from.
