Food was good, cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. The shrimp were golden brown and tender not overcooked, the steak was ordered well some and was also tender and juicy. The grilled chicken on top of the salad was also tender and juicy and flavorful. Will go back.

The food is good. The atmosphere tries to take you to an older time. We enjoyed looking at the pictures. We will come back. Not sure if its kid friendly. The waffles are AMAZING!

We went for dinner, it was very nice. We had a great server, and the food came fast. We order Billy J's grilled chicken salad everything was very fresh and delicious, we also ordered country fried steak and mash potatoes, it was perfect.

We been going to Billy J's for over 15 yr. Great food and friendly service. We resently went for breakfast and served us powered eggs, horrible! It like they we weren't gonna notice, like we were stupid. Too bad cause my husband loves the waffles.

The food was okay, but it was not worth a nearly-40 minute wait or the $111.00 bill for two adults and three kids to eat breakfast. We visited on a Saturday around 9 a.m., and it was slow. It picked up around the time our order went in, but that did not seem to explain the extended wait time. The service was good - our coffee, tea, and hot chocolate cups were kept full. My party ordered pancakes with bacon and eggs; French toast with bacon, sausage, and eggs; and three different omelets; biscuits and gravy, and German potatoes. All party members reported the food tasting good - thick, fluffy pancakes; soft, pillowy French toast; tasty omelets, crispy bacon and sausage, crispy German potatoes, and biscuits smothered in thick gravy. It might be worth it to eat here on a different day or time, but today was frustrating.

My partner and I walked in here for breakfast around 11am. We were seated fairly quickly, it wasn’t crowded. After waiting about 7-8 minutes My partner and I ordered both a coffee and a water. He ordered a omelette and I ordered the Menudo. Menudo was mediocre it was lacking flavor. The service was real slow for not being busy, I had to keep asking for a coffee refill. We asked for extra napkins and the waitress only brings two. Lol 😂 My partners omelette was good he said. His food 🥘 came out first then mine. The reason for three stars ✨ is the place was clean and my buddy’s omelette was 👍🏼 good. They need to work on there service.

I only gave 2 stars because of the older lady waitress. We have been here in the past and this waitress has no business being a waitress she has never been friendly just very to the point get things done. Ok fine. Today we went in and the young girl tried to seat us and that older lady waitress turned around and said you just gave me one so we could not be seated where the younger girl wanted to seat us and that was said right in front of us. So very rude if you cannot handle the tables in your section, maybe you should not be a waitress. We love the food there But customer service is something to be desired. We actually went ahead and just left so we wouldn’t be a burden to her. We will go back at some point when she is not there or we can be sat in another area. They have great food and their pancakes are awesome!

I went in wanting some meatloaf but I sure didn’t get it, so please don’t order it because it’s lousy !!! My bake potato and my salad were fine but I’m sure anyone can make that. And than they give you a few pieces of cauliflower for veggies ughh !! I gave 2 stars since the waitress was really sweet. I won’t be back.

It was our 1st time eating at Billy J's Family Restaurant. It had diner decor of the 50s & records with celebrity pics from 60s & 70s with 70s & 80s music. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken skillet dinner with strawberry-lemonade and my hubby ordered the Cajun Chicken fettuccine dinner with orange soda and both dishes and garlic toast were too salty we couldn't eat it. The house salad was fresh and the chicken tortilla soup and baked potato were good.

The chilie verde omlete had like 4 little peices of pork and I asked waitress where's the meat and they said that's how it comes and I can't believe I paid 20 bucks for that I had to go next door and get Biria taco after because I was unsatisfied .

Food is overpriced, bland and nothing special, service is sub par, plus questionable extra charges on the bill for a final money grab. It's just not worth it. Not impressed at all. They don't behave like they want repeat customers. Surprised they stay in business. Never again.

I ordered a breakfast sampler and it was supposed to come with two eggs i got what looked like one egg. Then I asked about it they got bothered and brought me a other one. The pancakes tasted like raw flower definitely not fully cooked. I brought it to their attention and they had a huge problem the ower personally asked me to not come back if he discounted the bill mind you I didn't get a chance to eat any pancakes. Worst place to eat at and customer service was absolutely garbage. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Horrible place to come and eat. For starters, the male server was not attentive. Took 27 Minute to get the breakfast special “stake and eggs”. I asked for my stake to be medium rear, well the stake was well over cooked. When I told the server about my stake being over cooked, HE walked away and never came back to my table. Unbelievable! The food was not tasty at all. Was cold and the service is bad. I don’t recommend this place. Take your money somewhere ells.
