A couple's dinner with a newborn baby at this hotel/restaurant recommended to us by acquaintances. Wood is the common thread throughout the place, and the staff's hospitality makes us feel right at home: we were provided a high chair for our baby, and the waitress was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs (she even warmed up our baby's food and brought our plate back with clean cutlery!). Despite the predominantly meat-based cuisine, I managed to find a vegetarian-friendly dish on the menu: I ordered polenta with bettelmatt... delicious enough to mop up the sauce! The garganelli with venison ragù were also delicious. The prices are very fair, and the food was excellent! When we return to Formazza, we'll definitely eat there again!

Had a delicious lunch here after getting back from a walk to the cascata, friendly service and delicious food - local beers were great and they serve deer for lunch! Nice to sit outside in a quiet spot and enjoy the view.

Stay and dinner in August 2025. A typical mountain valley hotel. Looking at the furnishings and clean rooms, you can sense the atmosphere of times gone by, and in this case, that's an added bonus. Luckily, the chapel bell, which was right in front of our window, doesn't ring at night. Breakfast was decent, though there was no toasting available. The staff were informal and very friendly. We also dined in the ground-floor restaurant. The food was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Prices aren't cheap, but they're fair for the quality. Highly recommended!

I can only rate the restaurant, and I found it excellent. It's well-located, with a spacious dining room and comfortable tables. The menu features many local dishes using quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The service is perfect. The prices are reasonable.

Beautiful and cozy place to spend some days. Ideal for families. It has a special place for kids where you can find toys, and even a TV. It is near the sky center. The rooms are good. They are clean, tidy and with all the necessary to make of your staying there a good time.

We only tried the restaurant. The venison starter was expensive, very good and plentiful, and the Piedmontese agnolotti were quite good. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and everyone was very friendly. Prices were moderate, considering the generous portions.

Nothing to complain about the food, it was really good. The place is clean and well-kept; we return every year during our vacations in Formazza. It says dogs are allowed, but this morning, when we called to make a reservation, they told us we couldn't bring our dogs due to the "presence of children." Perhaps the "dogs allowed" sign should be removed...
