Skip the Starbucks and treat yourself to Java & Jam across the street—you won’t regret it! Their coffee menu is extensive, offering something for every caffeine lover, and they even have cocktails to spice things up. I ordered the Shakshuka, and it was bursting with flavor—absolutely delicious. My husband tried the Bacon & Egg Sandwich, and it was just as impressive. This spot delivers great food, excellent coffee, and a cozy atmosphere. Don't miss out!

Went twice within a months span & both times everything was great. Though the wait time can be long, the food & drinks are well worth it. The first time I went I got the Berry Sunset Mojito (excellent & strong), & the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich. The food was so fresh & flavorful. Second time I got the Greek Omelet, Cheddar Grits & a Biscuit. If I didn't live so far I would visit more often.

Food delicious, vibe was amazing! The best part of the experience was our awesome server Joe. If I had a server like him everywhere I'd never eat at home again!! ❤️

This place was amazing. My adult coloring group came to Fort Lauderdale for a day trip to color and meet with Annie Reyes. But first breakfast. We stopped in at Java & Jam only to get a phenomenal server named Joe. He was on point with all suggestions and the best service. Thanks again

The best breakfast in Fort Lauderdale! I’ve tried a bunch of different things on the menu and they’re all delicious. All of the coffees, teas, shakers, and juices are so fresh and yummy and i love the seasonal/monthly drinks they have. Cyndi is the best waitress, she’s so sweet and always makes sure i have exactly what i need without even having to ask!

I absolutely adore coming here for brunch or to grab a to-go coffee. The atmosphere is always incredibly welcoming, and today was no exception. Sebastian, my barista, was exceptionally engaging and knowledgeable, providing me with valuable insights into the seasonal flavors and offering some fantastic recommendations. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a new spot for their morning pick-me-up!

Java and jam is such a great spot to eat! The food is delicious and the service is amazing. Joe was our server, and he was so kind and helped have the best dining experience possible. Our family had such a great dining experience, and we are definitely coming back.

We had such a wonderful experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Hannah! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly the way we wanted.

Was looking for a nice breakfast spot and found this lovely gem. Cindy, our server, made us feel right at home with her warm and friendly demeanor. She was attentive without being overbearing, and really added to the overall positive vibe of the place. The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was flavorful and fresh. The coffee was a standout too – rich, aromatic, and the perfect start to our morning. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Great service, excellent food, and fantastic coffee make this breakfast spot a place I’d definitely return to! Highly recommend.

We are on vacation and found our gem for breakfast! Relaxed, casual atmosphere with great food, coffee, and cocktails. Make sure to ask for Maya — she was wonderful, very attentive, and completely on point with everything you’d want from a server. The patio seating is also really nice!

We live on Las Olas and Java & Jam is our staple breakfast spot every week. The food is great and we love sitting outside with our dog (they’re really dog friendly), but the best part about it are the servers. Shout out to Anna and Maya who take such great care of us, along with everyone else on the team. Highly recommend for a Saturday morning breakfast!

I had an awesome experience at Java & Jam, and a huge part of that was thanks to Anna, who is easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. From the moment she greeted us, she was warm, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of energy you want at a breakfast spot. She was on point with everything: quick refills, great recommendations, and perfect timing without ever hovering. She managed to be attentive, friendly, and efficient all at once, even with a busy room. You can tell she takes pride in her job and really cares about giving guests a great experience. The food was solid, but Anna’s service is what made the visit memorable. If you’re stopping by Java & Jam, ask for her — she’s the one who turns a good breakfast into a great one.

Great breakfast spot with consistently high quality and quick service. Be sure to get on the waitlist before arriving—it moves fast. Ask for Joe if you can; he’s the best server there, super attentive and makes the experience even better. 🍳☕️

Super popular local spot for breakfast and brunch! Large menu accommodating lots of different dietary restrictions and tastes. Love the variety of coffee and tea drinks. Server Anna was very kind and hospitable. For couples and single folks, grab an empty seat wherever is available but this place does get busy. Come early!

My bf and I had a great brunch! Cindy was very attentive and specific when speaking to us, and checked in on us consistently to make sure we were good! I had the steak and eggs and it was absolutely amazing we had the buttermilk pancakes and he had the grits with eggs and he could say the same ! Great service always and our favorite brunch spot!

C

This has got to be the best brunch in Fort Lauderdale, and easily in the top 5 for South Florida. You have the great service and super cute patio with greenery that sets the tone, but it's the food that will dazzle you. They have healthy and indulgent, which I appreciated because you want to *feel* good as well as eat good. We got the soup and grilled cheese (not greasy at all but rich and excellent soup, plus fruit on the side!) and a salad that blew our minds: grapes, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, a soft-boiled egg... It's the best salad I've ever had. And the creative drinks, including lots of seasonal offerings changing through the year, are the icing on top. 10/10 would go again!

S

Amazing food. Their Shakshuka was the second best breakfast I’ve ever had. Cortadito was pretty good too. I’d absolutely go back.

The food here was absolutely delicious. The food is definitely fresh and packed full of flavor. I had the Nutella french toast, and it was so soft and fluffy, sweet but not overly sweet. As well as a churro coffee, and I must say the flavor of the coffee was so good. Kinda of disappointed that I took off the banana bread french toast. I was looking forward to trying it and the banana Foster pancakes. My husband had the special of the day omelet, which had a kick to it, but the flavor was very good as well as the grits were creamy and buttery. He had the creme brulee coffee, which was not very sweet, but the flavor of the coffee it's self is good whish it was a little sweeter. The rye bread was a little stale to me, so I didn't eat it. But overall, I will definitely be back.

We arrived at Java and Jam around 10:30 AM and were told there was about a 50-minute wait. We joined the waitlist, and I actually had time to run back to the house (I was staying 10 minutes away) to grab something I forgot. By the time I returned, we were being seated—so the timing worked out perfectly. The hostesses and our waiter were super pleasant and accommodating. The waiter gave us a few recommendations—felt a little pitchy, but I get it. They do have seasonal items, though none really caught my eye. My husband tried one of their basic breakfast combos—two eggs with grits, sausage, and ham. Heads up: the sausage isn’t a traditional Georgia-style sausage (like Garcia’s); it’s more of a chicken link, which wasn’t really our thing. My sister and I both ordered the steak and eggs. We asked for the chimichurri and hollandaise on the side instead of on top, which they accommodated. I ordered my steak medium and my sister got hers medium well—both were cooked perfectly and we had no complaints. Drinks were a hit! My husband and I ordered the dragon fruit lemonade shakers, and my sister ordered her go-to Arnold Palmer. She didn’t love it (said it was too tart), so we ended up sharing our drinks with her—and she loved those. FYI, the shakers are definitely shareable; unless you’re super thirsty, one can easily be split between two people. The dragon fruit lemonade was absolutely amazing. Overall, I really liked the vibe and the food. I’ll admit I was hesitant to try this spot because I usually only read the bad reviews before visiting new places (just to brace myself), but I was genuinely impressed. I have nothing bad to say about our experience and would definitely return.

Let me start by saying this: TikTok did NOT lie. We were told to go to Java Jam, and for once, the algorithm actually cared about our happiness. I pulled up with my family of six, and from the jump this place understood the assignment. The plates are MASSIVE—like “did we accidentally order for the table next to us too?” massive. The quality of the food is outrageous. Dear Lord… every single bite was hitting. I think I sampled everyone else’s plate except my own— just kidding, I destroyed mine too. 😅 Now let’s talk vibes. The location? Elite. The aesthetic? Chef’s kiss. Sitting outside on Las Olas Blvd, downtown Fort Lauderdale as your backdrop, people strolling by, sunshine doing its thing—this is main-character energy breakfast/brunch. Beautiful, relaxed, and somehow still buzzing. And then… GREG. Ladies and gentlemen, Greg is not a server—he’s a walking Google Maps, Yelp review, and coffee encyclopedia combined. This man gave us a full rundown of the area, what to order, what NOT to order, how flavors work together, and even had us sampling coffee combinations like we were on a Food Network tasting panel. “Try this with that.” “No, trust me, you’ll like this.” He was right. Every. Single. Time. The man is a genius. ☕🧠 Bottom line: ✔️ Incredible food ✔️ Huge portions ✔️ Amazing coffee ✔️ Prime Las Olas location ✔️ Service that feels like family ✔️ TikTok approval confirmed If you’re anywhere near Fort Lauderdale and don’t stop at Java Jam, that’s on you. Highly, loudly, enthusiastically recommended. 10/10 will absolutely be back (probably too often). 😎☕🍽️

First time here and sat down at the bar. Place gets packed so if u want to come u might want to see if they take reservations. Sat at bar for about 10 minutes and waited on a server. No fault of his own cus the place was busy. So I asked Layla if anyone was taking orders and she went and got Greg. Layla is super sweet so if u get her as a server I’m more than sure u will have great service. Greg was good and on point as well. Sat there observing it all and I got to say the cooks get it done! Super fast and accurate. Food was good price good too. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is an absolute gem! 🌟 I was blown away by the charming outdoor seating surrounded by lush greenery—such a cute spot! Our server, Anna, was incredible and had the best recommendations; everything she suggested turned out to be amazing. Let’s talk drinks— the Dragon's Kiss was absolutely divine! And the Banana Foster Pancakes? Total knockout! The Greek Omelette was pure perfection, a true chef’s kiss! My mom tried the Honey Turmeric drink and loved it (though it's not sweet, it was still excellent). Plus, you can’t go wrong with a classic bacon and eggs; it hit the spot! I can't wait to return! This place is also dog-friendly, and they have a special puppy platter that my furry friend devoured (bacon and eggs, yum!). They even brought her a bowl of water. It’s an all-around fantastic experience! 🐾❤️

Stopped by Java & Jam while visiting Fort Lauderdale and had the BEST brunch experience. The vibe is super cute and laid-back but still feels upscale and fun. The music was great, the place was buzzing (in a good way), and everything felt really well put together. Kelly was our waitress and she absolutely made the experience. She was friendly without being overbearing, knew the menu inside and out, and gave us amazing recommendations. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does! She checked on us at the perfect times and made sure our drinks were always topped off. Absolutely loved my breakfast at Java & Jam! I ordered the steak and eggs and it was perfectly done — tender, flavorful steak with fresh, well-cooked eggs. A truly satisfying breakfast. Came for brunch and like any good brunch spot there’s a wait. 4/5 because I wish they were on OpenTable. The wait wasn’t long (20mins), atmosphere was a bit loud and 2 different tables brought their dog so they barked back n forth several times disturbing everyone. Food portions were good and tasty, drinks were heavily diluted

Stopped by for some brunch on a Saturday, which they were a bit quite busy. The inside was a nice interior loved the design. We were greeted by two hostess which was cool, one of them took us to our seat and then followed 10-20 mins later our server. We started off with some water then we order some drinks off the seasonal menu, my partner got an ice coffee and I got the winter in Florida refresher. Both drinks were great, I love the winter in Florida one though it was refreshing and you can taste all the ingredients but I would love to know what soda they used for it to! The food came which my server was able to accommodate me since I didn't want fries but in the end I told him to leave it and try it out but when the food came I didn't see the fries but well it was fine, everything was great but the steak wasn't flavorful i thought it would be :(. The salad that came with it was decent as well the Cole slaw I order as a side wasn't favorite either idk it was something about the taste of it just didn't sit right with me The coconut chia pudding wasn't really my fan favorite either the fresh fruit on top made the pudding a bit tolerable. But I love my partner French toast though it was delicious! Overall it was a good brunch spot but I'll probably order something else than the steak and avoid the Cole slaw as well.

Java & Jam is a local coffeehouse on Las Olas that also serves all day breakfast. Although I don’t drink coffee, the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha drink featured outside is really what lured me in. The atmosphere was chill with both inside seating and a covered patio area. I ordered the Tri Color Quinoa salad along with the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. When my drink was brought out, I could not wait to take the first sip. However, I found the matcha flavor to be light and the glass was filled with about 1/3 of ice. Also, my drink was not garnished with the chocolate bar as depicted and when I enquired, I was told by Kelly (our server) that they were out of garnish. Also note that there is an upcharge for alternate milks (oat, coconut & soy). My salad was brought out promptly (15 mins) and it looked great and tasted even better. This mediterranean inspired combination of lettuce, cucumbers, chick peas and feta cheese dressed with a cilantro and tahini combination was truly delightful. It was fresh and refreshing at the same time. Overall, Java & Jam is a great niche find on Las Olas, especially if you’re craving breakfast foods after the usual breakfast hours.

Well it’s like this. The kids ordered eggs Benedict and steak and eggs. I ordered pancakes. When they arrived and I was told “be careful the plate is hot” that’s usually not a good sign. Either they were kept warm or under a heat source. Ironically the plate was hot, the pancakes were room temp and VERY overcooked. They were dry and bland to round it out. The boys loved their selections and finished them. As for me, when the server (who was very nice but also too busy to check on us at all) came over 15 minutes AFTER my sons finished, I told him my issue and he hurriedly went and had them removed from the bill. I spent $80 on breakfast and left aggravated and hungry. Nice spot, nice service, but they need more help and have to do better if they want to charge premium prices.

Soooo…..atmosphere was cool. Waiter was super. But…food was subpar (sorry) ordered Shakshouka. Looked nice -Was bland - not a lot of flavour! Ordered eggs a specific way - they weren’t even cooked close. When waiter finally stopped by- was too late to correct. Brought additional eggs - cooked wrong again. (I sound like I’m whining- but wasn’t a difficult request) Also ordered egg sandwich- was just OK didn’t blow my socks off Wanted to like but would not recommend.

This place used to be my weekend favorite — the tomato bisque, mozzarella sticks, banana nut bread toast, and tuna melt were all amazing. I stopped by today after a long time away and was so disappointed. The old menu is gone, replaced with fancy coffee flavors like crème brûlée and pumpkin spice. I just got a cappuccino — the only thing I recognized. Chef, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The place that once buzzed with customers now feels empty. Such a shame.
