Avis sur Pantry on Magnolia Fort Worth
Friendly service and delicious food. The dumpling flight had authentic flavors from around the world which were surprisingly enjoyable despite being drizzled in soy sauce. 😋 The loaded waffles, unfortunately, were a bit batter heavy. The noodles were soy heavy but yummy. Definitely get the chocolate dumplings for dessert. You're paying more for the flavor than for the volume.
Tried this place for the first time yesterday and we will be coming back! The food was amazing! If you get rice or noodles, you will have food for days. Definitely order the dumpling sampler so you can try a little bit of everything. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff took loving care of us. This place is really special!
Located in a small storefront right on W. Magnolia is the quaintest dumpling house I have ever encountered. Even though it may appear small, this place is BIG on flavor! From the Bahn Mi to the dumplings to the stir fry beef with noodles, you will not be disappointed! What a cool unexpected treat!
It was my first time at the pantry and I felt so welcomed right from the start. Wyatt was so kind and thoughtful taking my order and helping me find a seat. The bao bun and dumpling flights were both incredible. One of the coolest and yummiest dumpling spots I’ve ever experienced. 🥟😍✨
My wife and recently went here based off of Google ratings, and needless to say, we weren’t disappointed at all. We were greeted by one of the owners, and it he was quite informative about the menu. We had the dumpling flight, as well as the bao flight to sample multiple versions. The cucumber salad was basically cucumber kimchi, as was also quite delicious! Everything was superbly made with care, as well as the service being impeccable. We’ll definitely be back!
This place is more than just a hole in the wall restaurant, it’s like you step into a new family. The customer service by far was some of the best I have had in a long time in any restaurant. It’s family owned. The owners knew customers by name, and they make new customers feel like they are cooking a homemade meal for guest. They have a wide variety of food. I was impressed by the blends of cultures they have. The carnivore fried rice was absolutely unbelievable. It could feed a family of 4 for just $25. Flavor was spot on and you could tell they care highly about their quality. This is a must come place!
Absolutely incredible food. We had the dumpling flight and the bulgogi bao burger. Both were very fresh, and tasty. 10/10 food. Ended up ordering dessert to go, since I wanted to try that as well. The decor inside is so cute and cozy. The staff is very attentive and kind. This is definitely my new favorite go to spot for dumplings!
Located in a historic 100 year old building and run by a wonderful owner, this is such a great local spot. So much of the food is made in-house with the dumplings taking the lead. They have a flight of dumplings you can get with an excellent assortment of options. Also got the bao buns which were the best I’ve ever had. There’s also a bar in the back. Definitely a great spot to visit for lunch or dinner and chat with the great owner.
Pantry Magnolia is truly a hidden gem! The humble and cozy atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. The food is exceptional, hitting all the right notes, especially for those craving something different with an Asian twist. The friendly staff and clean environment enhance the overall experience, making you feel like you’re part of a charming movie scene. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, this is definitely the place to visit!
Unbelievable!!! Amazing!! My bff and I were blown away by all the fantastic flavor in all of the food we ordered! The portions were huge so we got to take home a ton of food to enjoy a 2nd time! Everything sounded great, so we ordered the dumpling flight, stir fry noodles, okonomiyaki, spring rolls, banana pudding, and cucumbers. Thank you POM for a wonderful experience!!! To all the people who look at reviews before going somewhere…. THIS IS A PLACE TO FULLY ENJOY!!! Go to Pantry on Magnolia!!! You won’t be disappointed!
Very interesting place. The fission of different cultures foods into their dumplings is impressive. Got the sampler of dumplings and found all of them to be delicious 😋. Portions are small on the dumplings but the Spring rolls were quite substantial. Tiny little place but has a wonderful atmosphere. Would recommend going with some folks so you can swap different things with each other. Bit pricy for what you get but definitely good quality.
We’ve been wanting to try this place out. We ordered the four dumplings and chose the Japanese Beef Stew, which was pretty good. It had a little kick, so the chilly sauce made it really spicy. It kind of tasted like curry, which isn’t my favorite flavor, but my boyfriend liked it. The next thing we ordered was the Bulgogi Bao Burger, which we were told was their award winning burger. It was yummy. The combination of the bulgogi and kimchi were good. Just a bit pricy given their size, but it was something to try. The last thing we ordered was the Pantry Stir Fry Noodles, which was my favorite of the 3. It was bit too salty for my liking, but the flavor of the beef and noodles with the veggies was yummy. Overall, it was really good. I’d like to come back and try the other things on the menu.
The food was good, the service was friendly, the place is cute - the bao buns were our favorite, especially the Thai rib one. The dumplings were good, but being from the PNW, we are spoiled on Asian food, and this just didn’t hit the mark. Some of the fillings were really good, but the dumplings were falling apart (some even came ripped) so they weren’t up to par there. The baked potato dumpling was very good, and so were others, but as a dumpling connoisseur the actual construction and cooking of the dumpling was the issue - but I guess it’s hard to find authentic asian in this town maybe? Also wish there was Soy sauce on the table for dipping. Either way, would recommend and would be back for more!
Everything here was delicious, and very nice waitstaff. I got the dumpling flight to try one of each of seven types of dumplings. We shared an order of fried rice with brisket which was yummy! And the bao buns, 2 per order, I got one tofu, one pork which were both really good. I liked the tofu one almost more than the pork. It was so good.
Stopped by today for lunch. Service was quick, informative and friendly. The place is small but accommodating and clean. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available. We decided to eat in and had a nice time. Their seating is all against the wall so if you’re trying to have a face to face conversation or intimidate date it might be better to sit outdoors. Our food came out as it was prepared which was nice. We ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls, Black Garlic Mushroom Dumplings, Smoked Brisket Dumplings, Pork Belly Noodle Soup and Tofu & Kimchi Fried Rice. Everything came out hot and delicious. I would say that the Fried Rice could use a bit more seasoning but that’s just my personal preference. The Black Garlic Mushroom Dumplings were my absolute favorite thing. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.
Very eclectic and interesting place, spring rolls, noodles, dumplings and other various types of Asian style food. Pho was good, not great, noodles overcooked, short rib went from being tender to chewy, no add ins like beansprouts, Jalepeno, or basil. Overpriced at $20. Jalepeno popper dumplings were awesome! Server did not bring soup spoon, and they forgot to add a second pho that was ordered.
First time coming here and was recommended the sampler with additional dumplings where each one was a different flavor. Customer service was okay. This is more of a chill and hangout place more than a taste of traditional dumplings. They were interesting flavors but not really my taste for them.
