This location has the best manager and staff of pretty much any fast food place I've been to. They are extremely friendly, remember their repeat customers, and the food is prepared with care. Always a pleasure eating here!

Their salsa and chopped vegetable bar is always fresh and they are generous with the tomatoes. Getting a senior citizen discount is a plus. They are efficient when it comes to service and continually clean the tables and other areas. Sometimes they have to slow down due to some elderly or mentally challenged customers who are confused and need extra attention or explanation. But they do care about their customers no matter who they are. It is kind of like that show, CHEERS, last stanza songag: .....WHERE EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR FACE.......'

The service and food at this particular location has always been great. The people are generally friendly (they know all their regular customers by name) and they don't short you on the portions of food.

My favorite location! Always fast, delicious, accurate and fresh. The gentleman who runs drive through is friendly and funny and has a great voice! I have a perfect experience every time I come here!

I had friends to come over unplanned and needed food and Taco Bueno saved me with the whole lotta box options. You can get tacos or burritos and you can mix if you want too. The box also had beans, rice and salsa. The food was fresh and good. Shout out to the McCart location, the customer service was excellent. Thank you Taco Bueno.

Taco Bueno is a great place for a quick or comfortable environment to have lunch or dinner. My husband and I dropped in to sit and est lunch and just enjoy each other's company. The place is very clean, and quite. The staff is very nice, and the food is great. I Ordered the seasoned beef taco plater, and my husband ordered the same thing. Our order was ready within minutes. Great service, and I definitely would recommend you visiting Taco Bueno!

I have no complaints, before I drove off employee came back to the window to let me know he forgot to put two of my items in the bag. The food was good and I'm glad that the employee noticed his simple mistake before I left.

It was TacoBueno! The restaurant was clean and the food was decent. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of the young men that took our orders and their manager. They were all really nice. That alone made the stop worthwhile and I loved those fried cheese cakes! Thanks guys.

Honestly they have gone down hill. The door said that they opened at a certain time however the doors were still locked so I drive through the drive through and there were 2 employees standing around laughing. I asked if they were open and the lady said, "yeah in 5 more minutes"...it was already 6 mins after they were supposed to open.

Taco Bueno just isn’t the same as it was 40 years ago :( customer service is lost and the quality of the food, especially the (un)fresh salsa bar continues to decline as well - pico is ALWAYS gross.

I can't say the food is bad but asking for extra condiments can sometimes be forgot places on the speaker at drive thru but asking face to face at the window and told there was messed up when I got home to find none.!!! Lies

The drive-thru worker messed up my order. Wanted to charge me for her mistake. After letting them know what I would pay foe their mistake and letting them know I would sit in the drive-thru until my order was correct, then the manager was called and the necessary correction made.

We didn't get food from there. So I'm not going to comment on it. We changed our mind to pizza!!! And the pizza 🍕 in Grand Prairie at Marco's Pizza was great!!! And delivered 🔥 the way I like it...

So I’ve never had taco bueno before and thought I’d door-dash some today. I ordered 2 beef wholeLotta platters with no tomatoes and one with no sour cream or guacamole. Each platter had tomatoes and the other did have the sour cream and guacamole In a chip puff. This didn’t bother me to much, but once I ate the platter I was disappointed. All the tortillas tasted stale, the beans didn’t taste the greatest either, and the ground beef was bland. The fried chicken taco was perfect and tasted amazing, as well as the churros and the queso. In the future I will probably just stick with the specialty tacos, the queso and the churros 🙃

Food ok, ordered food, was accosted by someone wanting me to buy food for their family at the counter. Called my order but didn't make sure we picked it up, didn't hear the order number, thought it was someone's in the dining room til they went to the back. People were unattentive to their guest.

Service was slow in the drive thru. Chips were stale. The nachos tasted like they put hot sauce on them. I have had the nachos before and they weren't as spicy.

Decent service, menu is a bit confusing but complete. Basic Mexican (?) fast food, not much to brag about but ok. Really liked the bean burritos and muchaco. As expected, prices have gone up and portions gotten smaller 🤷🏾‍♂️ whatcha gonna do? OK good but if you want the REAL thing, seek out a real Mexican restaurant. You might be more satisfied.

Food is good and place is cleaner than most in this area. Staff is busy having conversations with self and not really very hospitable to customers. Customer service is not a strong suit, and some of their conversations are inappropriate for customers to over hear.

Just ordered from here through Doordash. I had special instructions on my food. The people that work here can't read instructions properly. What if someone has a food allergy?! I tried calling up here and they won't answer their phone! Bad place to order food from.

Unfortunately, this particular restaurant that has been here for many years has transitioned in to a total debacle. The Staff is clueless as to whom has ordered what. The drive thru (Night Shift) consistently gives out someone else’s order and allows that customer to drive away without their order. Therefore, I make it a point to walk in for take out. I ordered a B.O.B. (Big ‘Ol Burrito) and received a BOBETTE. It was half the size of what it has always been. It’s not that difficult to put together a Burrito. Very disappointed.

So, I'd been bummed about Taco Bueno shutting down all their different locations, but after tonight I totally see why it's happening. I asked for 2 sides of pico, the MANAGER handed me them from a side cooler near the window, and I get home to see mold on top. Gross! How does this even happen at a busy restaurant?! Obviously people are too lazy to rotate or make sure they're not old. That's really old! It takes tomatoes in my fridge weeks to mold. I'm not going back for a long time, if ever.

The staff is very polite and helpful but my number one complaint is that they ran out of firehouse salsa if I had known that prior to ordering I would have gone to a different taco bueno this really irritates me the salsa bar is poorly stocked and the front is a little dirty not a Bueno experience! And then I got home opened up a few tacos and there was barely any meat or cheese on the tacos that I asked for extra cheese on.

I usually love taco bueno... But when we walked in there was a strong smell of dirty mop water and you could tell someone had used the dirty mop water on the floor because your shoes stuck to it and you could see the mop lines dried up and left behind from the water being dirty. Second there were a couple of employees that were pretty rude.. it seemed when we mentioned something she had a smart attitude comment back.. not really good on all of that.. but the food was good.

I ordered fish tacos last week. No problem. This week, they totally utterly destroyed my order. A slow line was also an iritant. They also had a $100+ phone order stacked on the counter. Again, they totally blew my order. I only came back to this "mild mex" restaurant to try the new fish tacos. On my second trip, they gave me the wrong sauces. Yuck! I definitely didn't want to get back in that line. What a waste of my time. I'm not coming back. Screw them!!!!

I usually never have any problems here at this location, I’ve came here a handful of times as I’m new to the area. But tonights’ shift working 6:30-7:30pm 11/01/2020 there are no excuses as to why my food was made so messy and carelessly! My appetite is gone and I already have a hard time eating because of my illness. The customer service was great no problem ordering!!!

Most every table was dirty or had a dirty feel to it. There was food on the floor and the bathrooms were scary. I can understand if they were busy but it was just us and one person in there. Food was ok. Staff seemed busy on their phones.

The food is good, but every time I visit, on average I spend 10$.. the way they organize the combos, platters, and set the prices... you are either going to pay 12$, or walk around feel cheated and still hungry.

I was not overly impressed with this Taco Bueno. The associate that took our order could obviously care less that we were there and did not seem to want to answer any of our questions about the menu. The lobby was extremely dirty and no one there seemed to be concerned about it's condition. At least the food was still good!

I cant even provide more than one star because i couldn't get anyone to take our order. We literally stood for about 6 minutes and not one person approached the register to take our order. I counted at leaat 6 employees working behind the food area. Several made eye contact with us but still not one spoke or approached the front counter. So disappointed and will think twoce before ever coming back ever

I went to try the Bueno Burger it was horrible I ordered the 3 for 6 special and I got home to find out that the Buns were hard and the meat was not fresh!!! It was to far to drive back there for I will never go back!! Money waisted!!!

Don't order cinni chips from here because they will NEVER put them in your bag. 4 times I've been there in the past couple of months and not once have they ended up in my bag the first time. How hard is it to give me WHAT I PAY FOR?

I ordered a chicken nacho salad as I've done many times before over the years. This time I ordered and received a white box with extremely cheap easilly broken chips with just a handful of lettuce,tomatoes,cheese,and chicken. And to top it off I was very disgusted that they placed two spoonfuls of dressings the meal doesn't even come with. Don't come to this taco bueno unless you want some idiot putting your food together the ugliest and cheapest way possible. Not worth the money and I will be getting a refund.

Taco Bueno is just not the same as it used to be. The tortilla was rough, hard & chewy!☹️🌮 it looked like they microwaved & grilled it! I guess I now know why all of the taco bueno's are disappearing in Fort Worth

Today, I went to Taco Bueno near my and was very disappointed. The customer service was horrible when I ordered. The lady was very rude and abrupt. When I arrived at the window, she asked me again if I wanted salsa....I informed her upon ordering I wanted the Fire House... I was not asked how many as I usually am, but just thought I would request 4 at the window. While waiting in my car, I see the young woman making the food, haphazardly tossing food into the container. The other young man standing by the window was texting🤔. The older lady who took the order then dismissively gave me my order and turned her back to me. Well, my box was heavy and spilling in the bag, it was a mess. However, I was done by this time. Last Sunday, I went there and my food was cold...no fire house....gucamole was tasteless. Wednesday before, we received an incomplete order....no chips...salsa...When I asked if the tea was fresh, the answer was "No". Last month, I asked for the fure house salsa through the drive-thru and was told they did not have any made fresh in the back, but there was some on the serving bar. Like a faithful patron, I parked...went in and got my own🤔. So, after over 20 plus years, we are parting ways with this location. I will say the mature adult male manager (he has been there years and years) is always "Professional" and has impeccable customer service skills. When he is there, it is wonderful.

Terrible service! There were no customers in at the time of my visit. (Appx. 3:30pm). Two employees on duty. I walked into the store to place an order. I was told to wait and someone would help me shortly. I waited over 10 min at the counter and my order was still not taken. No other customers in the restaurant. They were more concerned with a car in the drive thru. I left to take my business elsewhere.

Thid place is gross!! My daughter ordered her food and there was a hair in it!! The manager Maria working right now sucks!! All my daughter wanted was her money back $13.87.... I just left Taco Bueno abt 10 mins ago. This is Sun, 12-06’22 4:01 pm. I paid almost $5 for two crispy regular size tacos, one beef & the other chicken. I rcv’d what I requested but it was so little of everything...meat, cheese, etc... that I feel robbed. I will never ever go to that TB ever again. Initially thought to head to Rosa’s or Taco Casa, but I was hungry & TB was closer. Now, I’m headed to Taco Casa. They need to close that TB or hire folks who know how to service customers.

I ordered food from Taco Bueno through Uber Eats. Not only were there items missing from my meal, the order was also incorrect. I called the location to bring my concerns to there attention. I spoke to Pablo (not sure if thats his real name). He was very inconsiderate & seemed unbothered. They basic told me it's nothing they could do since it was through Uber Eats. I don't normally eat through Apps, but I would think that you guys would have some type of solution in event that this happens to your customers. Most people who are ordering food through Uber Eats do not have vehicles, can not drive, are at work, or simply not in the position to come up there to correct you guys wrong. I would appreciate it if someone would at least acknowledge my concerns and make it right. There's nothing more frustrating than to wait 45 minutes for my food and it be incorrect. If this is corrected I would be happy to change my review, but the food that I did receive was good.

I like this type of food, and been trying many times Taco Bueno, still hoping to finally enjoy... But! FOOD: Recently bought tacos, was getting my pico de gallo at the table. It went absolutely bad, whole big dish looked , smelled and tasted bad. Don't you see it?! Quacamole IN my plate- was absolutely unacceptably bad. Needless to say I had to trash sour cream, meat ( didn't want to take a risk) and almost everything else. I thought it was just coincidence, but third time in a row!!!Guys, this is your business, feed people with fresh food! It is most important in the restaurant, even the fast food! Your plate shouldn't smell like a trash can in a hot summer day. TRASH: Take your trash from at least the dining area, often! While waiting on my order I had to smell trash can near the counter. I couldn't believe it was there, in restaurant. It was clearly a few days sitting there, otherwise how it could be that incredible stinky? Almost vomiting...Guys, you might get rats, roaches etc.etc.. Shame! You felt that smell, should clean your cans! RESTROOM: it is the type of restroom where you wouldn't touch anything, including door handle without piece of paper towel. Type of the restroom where you wouldn't hang your purse on the hook, because don't want to touch anything at all, including extremely dirty walls. Where you try to do not watch, and where you hold your breath until you get out, to do not smell in. Trying to block all of your five senses. Now, employees should use it , after touching slimy water tape and nasty door handle, they go and do taco or roll burrito for you. Managers! Please, take care of the business. Sorry. Hope it'll help to put your business on a higher level.

What has happened? I always order a whollatta box and get it half and half. Well the price has gone up over 3.00 but the quantity has gone to poo. The tacos weren't even filled half up and the tortillas that were bean burritos were burnt to the point of being crunchy. I was not even given a receipt. I probably will not be returning. The quality and quantity has just gotten bad. SMH

Be consistent, Be courteous, but most importantly be OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!! Closing at 10 PM on a weekend is NOT A GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE! Taco Bueno was my favorite fast food option, now completely off my list as a dining option at any time of day. Way to go piss poor business model.

Our Big Ol Burritos (BOB) Were small, cold, and the tortillas were hard and cold. This place has really gone down hill. Also, we were there around 7pm and no other customers were there, we should have taken that as a sign!

This was a total disappointment. Save your money unless you want some old cold food. My nephew suggested this place because he ate there before. He thought it was a little better than Taco Bell. Though I swore off Taco Bell because of their poor service, you couldn't pay me to eat at this place ever again.

Call ahead order. Walked in and ignored for at least 2 minutes. Finally was acknowledge. Waited 25 minutes for tacos. Order finally came up. I asked where the drink was. He asked what size then said whatever and brought me a large. 2 different parties came in and left because no one acknowledged them. 4 employees visible. Just one, a young female, seemed to care or have a sense of urgency. It's no wonder why so many locations have closed.

Terrible!! The person working the drive through seemed to be having a hard time hearing me as I had to repeat myself three times! When I approached the window I asked her to please repeat my order for consistency!! When I asked her to repeat she gave me attitude and acted very rude!! Also I enjoy the Bueno chilada platters which is what I normally order!! We frequent this location on Altamesa and this is the fifth time this year that my order was incorrect and my chips for my chilada dinner were missing!! The employees here are VERY careless and rude and if there was another Taco Bueno closer to us I would never visit this location again!!

Used to be a big fan, but they forgot my cheesecake chimichangas. When I went back through the drive-thru I tried my big freaking nachos. They were so bad I gave them back. Still a fan of cheesecake chimis...but, that's it. The foods is awful now.

On 9/17 around 5:15pm. I bought two bean burritos one for my self and one for my daughter. When I got home to eat the tortillas were hard and stale and there was half the beans as there should. Very disappointed. In Fort Worth TX they have closed several locations. The location on McCart is the only one near my house. Please do better Taco Bueno

I don't know why, but the service at this location has changed. I give my order, and my order is repeated back to me. I get home and my items are exactly the opposite of what I asked for. I check my receipt. It shows what I ordered on it. I call and am told that I need to drive back to get my correct order. It hasn't always been this way, but it has been this way more than not within the last 3 months. I think I am done.

OMG!!! THIS IS THE WORST TACO BUENO EVER!!! We just ordered from uber eats to get taco Bueno and omg i got a few sprinkles of meat on a BF taco salad and the BF nachos are dry dry dry! HORRIBLE.....we normally love Taco Bueno. So much for staying in and ordering have to go order from somewhere else cause this was a big waste of time n money!!

I’ve been going to this taco bueno for about 18 years and I’ve had to call the manager several times down through the years for different problems….hoping the place would improve. I really don’t know how this location stays in business. Today was my last visit. I just paid $28 for 3 combo burritos (which turned out to be bean burritos because they didn’t put any meat in these burritos at all) and even after I clarified with the drive thru guy that he heard me correctly because I even ordered extra cheese and chili sauce and they still got the basic part of the burrito wrong. From now on I’ll just go to the Benbrook location it’s way better. I can’t believe this location hasn’t gone out of business yet. Every other taco bueno I’ve been to is so much better. The only other one that had this bad of service is the one that closed down over by Ridgmar mall and I suspect that’s why they had to close.

I just ordered 3 beef burritos, the girl read it back to me, the confirmed it at the window; I received 3 bean burritos instead. Should have known to check the order. Place is always so slow no one is hardly ever here I walk in and have to wait to be greeted, then have to wait for order. Secondly they don’t wash rinse sanitize hands they just walk over and put on gloves and start making food! Absolutely disgusting. Against health codes as well. Needless to say lost my business! Everyone is always so down and dry. Where is the happy to serve you mentality. Why isn’t the general manager boosting the morale or trying to encourage the people??? Hire happy people. The first and last time I dined in at the Macart and Altamesa location after I ordered there party tacos 🌮 I had to tell the frustrated manager twice to replace the tacos because of their cheap cracked taco shells. Her back was facing me the whole time assuming in her mind telling me not to touch the shells when I didn't touch them only to carefully open the paper wrap to notice the long cracks. Found a hair in the middle of my food. The man who took my order had very short hair and was wearing a hat. The only other employee that had long hair was the manager, and she wasn't wearing a hairnet nor a hat. Anyone with long hair has to wear a hairnet or a hat. Apparently, Taco Bueno needs to retrain them and possibly check if they even have a food handlers card.

At 4:30 pm I ordered almost $30.00 worth of food and check it. My street taco shell wasn't fresh nothing was hot. The kids were on there phones and I just got off and didn't think I needed to check cause Noone was inside or drive thru. Stood at the counter for 10min before I got service. No apologies or nothing. So I don't recommend anyone go there. I dont recommend no food. I was in the area. If I wasn't so far I'd take it back. I really want my money cause I still have the food. Sad... I ova 50yrs and when I worked there was no phones except management. Noone paid attention or anything. Missed me off cause when the kids want something, they want it right. Why get a job at fast food if you not gone do the job you paid for? ... Don't worry I will wait on the answer. Ridiculous!!!! So 😡 😞 😡!!! These tortilla and meat had to be sitting more than 2/3 hours. And I can count the pieces of meat. I got 4 in each of them.

I have frequented this location for the past 7 years and have watched it decay...My main gripe isn't even about the food or customer service...It's directed at the accuracy of their ACTUAL store hours versus their advertised hours of operation, here on Google Maps. Too many times, including tonight, have I made the commute to this establishment to find out that they are NOT actually open when their hours on Google Maps say that they are! I have attached a picture of their corporate communicated store hours and will submit a request to adjust the advertised hours here on Google Maps...AGAIN. Hopefully it doesn't get denied again! Please be considerate and mindful enough of your customers and their time to at least have the decency to update your hours of operation to reflect the same time listings on ALL of your platforms of communication! It's not that hard to do!

I went through the drive thru at 10:30pm Tuesday September 17. I ordered a chicken taco salad and the lettuce was in a cup. It was only enough lettuce to fill the bowl up 1/3 of the way. The meat was in a small container, the guacamole was in a small container, the chicken was in a small container, everything was in small containers inside the taco bowl. I thought they were closing soon. But they close at 1am. Next time I will go in a tell them to make it correctly. Terrible service.

To begin, I'm a huge taco bueno fan, but the bueno on McCart is gone down hill dramatically. Despite writing off recent bad experiences to a fluke, I went yesterday only to sit in the drive thru for approximately 20 minutes and not only did they get my order wrong, when i opened up my taco the meat was so greasy that it leaked out and filled the wrapper as seen in the photo.
