We were absolutely blown away by our Valentine’s Day experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The dinner was phenomenal — every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared — and the beverages were crafted to perfection. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy, we never felt rushed for a second. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming the entire evening. Chavon was truly outstanding — attentive, friendly, and so personable. She went above and beyond to make our night feel special, and it genuinely meant so much to us. This was such a memorable evening, and we can’t wait to return!

Came here for Valentine’s Day, since I’ve been wanting to go to Whiskey Cake and oh my, it was great! Our server Tabitha was awesome and friendly. She checked on us regularly, which you don’t usually see in other restaurants, so that was nice. We started with the flash-fried Brussels sprouts, which I would say is one of the BEST appetizers I’ve ever had. The grilled Brussels sprouts, paired with the sweet grapes and the honey-lemon pepper glaze was absolutely perfect. We then ordered the fish n chips, which was good, fried and seasoned well. The tartar sauce was good as well, but was more on the lemony side. One of my favorite dishes that we ordered was the short rib pappardelle. The short rib was liked pulled pork, but was so flavorful and they were generous with the amount. My favorite part were the pappardelle pasta, so good! The bread was also soft and yummy. We ended the night with a whiskey cake and some butter pecan ice cream. The ice cream was so nice and creamy. Not too sweet. The whiskey cake was a perfect end to the night. The candied pecans went real well with the nice, moist whiskey cake. The sauce was also a perfect touch to the dessert. Overall, I’ll definitely be back!! It’s my new favorite place and I want to try more of their menu.

Visited for the first time and Whiskey Cake did not disappoint. Exceptional service, atmosphere and food! Our waiter was attentive, very knowledgeable of all the menu items and extremely personable! Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and quite delicious! Now I know why this place is always packed and I look forward to our next visit!

Visited on Christmas Eve and highly recommend!! Have been exploring restaurants all over the DFW for the past month and this absolutely makes it into my top 3. The service was lovely. Our server Elijah was the example of amazing service! Food was great but the dessert blew my mind. There is an extensive list of spirits, especially whiskey. We loved everything!

Whiskey Cake in Fort Worth absolutely delivered on every level. The turkey chili was outstanding — rich, hearty, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. The pork chop was the star of the meal: cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and clearly prepared with attention to detail. And then there’s the whiskey cake — hands down one of the best desserts around. Warm, decadent, and finished flawlessly, it was the perfect way to end an already exceptional meal. This place came as a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. I had the hangover burger and the husband had the prime rib sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service provided by Jeremy from the moment we were sat to the minute we left was exceptional. Definitely worth the drive and we will be back.

Whiskey Cake Restaurant did NOT disappoint! Cozy, lively, amazing vibe, and perfect for everything from date night to a night out with friends. Service was A+ and the food… fresh, hot off the grill, and seasoned just right. Prices are super reasonable too! Definitely check them out — just make sure you book a reservation because it gets packed on the weekends.

I came in with some company, and we had a great time. The atmosphere was warm and lively - it actually gave off an East Coast vibe, which I really liked. We started with the candied bacon, which was sweet, crispy, and absolutely delicious. For my drink, I went with the Ruby Slippers -- a mix of different juices that was sweet, refreshing, and super easy to enjoy. Definitely something l'd recommend if you're looking for a non-alcoholic option that still feels special. For the main course, I had the Steak Frites. The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the fries were the perfect complement. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying their signature dessert - the Whiskey Cake. It was rich, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. If you order it, do yourself a favor and add the ice cream and their homemade whipped cream. Totally worth it. Overall, an awesome dining experience from start to finish. And apologies for the photos -- sometimes the camera just doesn't eat first.

We had such a great time at Whiskey Cake! The food was amazing — especially the spinach dip and the crispy house chips with dip. The presentation was beautiful, you can really tell they care about the details and use great ingredients!!! The drinks were top notch, and the vibe of the place made it even better. I absolutely LOVE Whiskey Cake!! Every visit is such a great experience — the customer service is always top-tier, the staff are so friendly, and the vibe is just perfect. I’ve had Kara, Chris, and Chavon and each of them have been phenomenal everytime!! Their steak is seriously the best — always cooked perfectly and full of flavor 😋 And don’t even get me started on their espresso martini… hands down my favorite one anywhere!!

Amazing experience. Everything we ate was phenomenal. Down to the homemade mustard grain ketchup. Best we've ever had. The Autumn Old Fashion was divine. Fish and chips was literally the best fried fish I've ever had and I've eaten a LOT all over the world. You can't go wrong. Service was exceptional. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

Everything we ordered was well-prepared and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were especially good—don’t miss them! Of course, the Whiskey Cake itself was the perfect sweet finish. Had dinner at Whiskey Garden on Friday and it was fantastic. We started off with fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs. Both very good. Our entrees included the chicken sandwich, salmon, shrimp pasta, and the skirt steak. They were all delicious. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. Love the atmosphere!!!!

We finally got to try this new place for us. The restaurant was very nice, very cool setup. They had a very large bar area with drinks galore. We went early so zero wait. I ordered the French onion burger. WOW it was good! It was so juicy, melts in your mouth. Great flavor! I ordered the fire roasted veggies for the side. They were awesome. Watch out though, they had a jalapeno sauce on it, very spicy but good. Loved my meal. My wife had the chicken melt. She loved it. I had a bite, it was very good, well seasoned. Great portion sizes btw. My boys got the kids hamburger & chicken fingers with fruit for the side. They seemed to enjoy theirs but they're young. So glad we tried this place. Couple of suggestions. The kids meals say fountain drinks are included but we were charged because we got "fresh squeezed" lemonade, $3 extra. I also got the impression from our waitress that you could substitute the fries for any side. She didn't mention the extra charge for the lemonade or the veggies. We questioned these extra charges & they were taken off but it just put a bad taste in my mouth, like I was being nickel & dimed. Appreciate them taking these unnecessary charges off but there needs to be more of any explanation. Over all though our waitress was great. Think her name was Pat. She was very sweet & super attentive. Great experience overall.

Wow, to all of it! The food was so damn good! I had an AMAZING smoked old fashioned. We sat at the bar and it was a great evening. Our bartender was fun while he was busy as heck. We just had some appetizers for snacks. The turkey chili was surprisingly great (even though it had beans)! We were all shocked by that one. The Ricotta Toast was my favorite, but the candied bacon was a close second. We did try the Crab Fritters, but none of us were as impressed with those as the rest.

We had a great evening here. Driven by this place many time and never stopped to give it a try.. we are so happy we did. Simple menue but executed to perfection. Chris was attentive, knew his menu and whiskeys. You rarely see this level of food quality these days or service. The manager came to our table and was great as well. From decor, to food to service.. it was a perfect evening for a date night for my wife and myself. Thank you so much, well be coming again. For anyone reading this review.. we are actual customers and will be for many years to come.

First time here but not the last, my wife and I went here to celebrate our friends birthday and we really enjoyed our experience. The Whiskey Flight was great I also enjoyed the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer for our main course I enjoyed the bone in pork chop, which was fantastic. Their service was top-notch drinks never empty really enjoy the experience. Keep up the great work.

This was super good! We went with a big group of people for an event, so we had a smaller menu. If you got a steak you could only get medium or well done. I got medium but it turned out a little more medium rare. I was hoping for it to be just a little less pink, but the flavor of everything was so good and the candied bacon at the beginning was AMAZING! The aesthetics are great and their private party room has a ton of space for a big party to sit and enjoy food together. I will definitely be back again to enjoy something off the full menu!

My sister and I took a spot at the bar and Tyler was our server. He gave great recommendations for food! We started with the Brussels sprouts and both the pork chop and French onion burger were very good. Some friends we made at the bat let us try their bacon and that was to die for. We were too full to try the cake but I will definitely be back to try more.

This place has awesome mixed drinks with grest servive and a nice atmosphere. If you enjoy the smoke taste in an Old Fashion, then it's a must that you try their Smoked Old Fashion. It is custom smoked at your table! This is a "fancy" with "fancy" bar good. The food prices seem to a little high for what you get. The food is good, however the servings are not large.

Come here if you're ready to drink and you like spicy food. Most of the menu is for alcohol and they have a short list of food. We ordered the fingerling potatoes, salmon, burger, fish and chips and whiskey cake. The potatoes had a little heat to them, but it was barely noticeable. They were small potatoes that were seasoned well and slightly smashed. The salmon and vegetables were slathered in some kind of green sauce that had the texture and spiciness of wasabi. The tavern burger was pretty big , tasty, and had hand cut fries like Five Guys. The fish was Haddock and it was so big that it couldn't fit on the plate. It was about a foot long. No reservations seem to be needed for weekdays as there was hardly anyone there. The inside is very high class and the noise level was low. It is a fairly pricey restaurant as we spent about $110 for 3 people.
