Recommended by a lady we met at the park... my daughter and I immediately found the atmosphere familiar... the kids' menu is fantastic, the owner knew how to capture my daughter's curiosity and offered me a Piedmontese tasting... I finally found my spot for lunch in the center of Fossano! Located in a charming little square, hence its name, just behind the Duomo, it welcomes guests with background music and a relaxing atmosphere. I was seated immediately, but the crowd made it clear that reservations are recommended. The atmosphere is charming and warm, at least from the part I could see, with a beautiful tree painted on the back wall. Pictures, photographs, and objects... contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. The service is kind and discreet; the courteous and helpful waitress immediately brought me both the daily menu and the à la carte menu. The à la carte menu offers interesting options, perhaps to be explored further over dinner, accompanied by a nice glass of wine. For lunch, the daily menu can be found for €16 including a first course, second course, water, and coffee, or for €12 including a second course, water, and coffee. €11 including a first course. They brought me delicious, warm, and crispy olive oil rolls. Overall, I had a great time. I'll definitely be back.
In a square far from the traffic and noise, they offer truly exceptional food. The brandacujun is excellent: soft, just the right amount of flavor, and well-made. The toma ravioli with a flavorful tomato sauce are delicious. Desserts, such as hazelnut cake with zabaglione and bunet, are truly exquisitely made and served with elegance.
The restaurant is on a side street, with no traffic noise, except for the residents. The server was super nice. We had a brief chat in English. The menu is promising, with dishes for meat-eaters as well as vegetarians. The food arrived very promptly, there was no long wait, and it was very good. He was helpful in choosing the wine. Everything was excellent.
I had lunch here and was struck by the quiet yet welcoming atmosphere, the pedestrian plaza that creates a peaceful corner if you sit outside, and the dishes (strictly homemade) that are flavorful and offer moments of authentic culinary pleasure. A delightful discovery that I will certainly return to.
I stopped for lunch after a visit to the castle of Fossano... fixed menu 🍽 consisting of fresh pasta🍝 (tagliatelle) topped with pumpkin and sausage, roast 🍖 with a side of potatoes🥔, onions🧅 and carrots 🥕, dessert (off the menu) a chestnut delicacy🌰🍧🍨 with cream... like Mont Blanc ... WIDE choice of 🍷🍷🍷 wonderful experience ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I was invited to dinner at this restaurant at the end of last week. Since it's a place I'm unfamiliar with, I researched the place online and discovered with great curiosity that, due to family reasons, they offer cuisine primarily inspired by Ligurian, Piedmontese, and Apulian traditions. So I decided to order a dish from the menu that I already knew was representative of each of these regions, specifically: - Veal with tuna sauce (a typical Piedmontese appetizer) - Burnt wheat orecchiette, Romanesco broccoli, and fried breadcrumbs (a typical Apulian first course) - Local rabbit with Ligurian Vermentino wine (a typical Ligurian second course) and finished with a hazelnut tart with zabaglione and coffee. All excellent and cooked, each one, in my opinion, according to the finest tradition: the veal with tuna sauce was cooked to perfection and plated to perfection, the orecchiette had the right consistency, flavorful but not too salty, and the rabbit was very delicate but certainly not bland. From the wine list, which, from what I saw, doesn't focus on the usual renowned wineries, but gives ample space to small and lesser-known producers, I chose a Barbera d'Asti due to its regional affinity, which did not disappoint. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service prompt and quick, but not rushed; the prices are consistent with the quality and quantity of the food offered (for the selected dishes, approximately €50.00 cover charge, including water and wine).
🇬🇧 We dined here in September 2023, on the outdoor terrace overlooking a quiet pedestrian square. Appetizer, first course, and dessert: everything was good, including the excellent homemade pasta. Very kind waiters and fast service. Recommended, also for the slightly below-average prices. Congratulations!

Excellent dinner in Fossano. As an alternative to traditional Piedmontese dishes, this restaurant offers some very interesting options. The egg on pea cream was excellent, as were the ravioli with seirass and walnuts, and the green gnocchi with bacon. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant has outdoor tables overlooking the small square in front, making it very interesting in the warmer seasons. We'll be back.
Definitely our favorite restaurant in Fossano and the surrounding area. We've been loyal customers since the beginning of its management, and it's never disappointed. The dishes are always excellent and carefully prepared, the service is attentive and courteous, and you truly feel at home. The prices are fair, the portions just right (although it's so good you'd want seconds of everything...)
Truly excellent!!! Generous and tasty dishes, quality ingredients, and a menu that captures the characteristics of several Italian regions! Excellent variety of wines. It's located in the historic center of Fossano in a cozy and quiet square! Friendly and pleasant service! Truly a great experience!! Highly recommended++++++++
After walking past it several times, we finally decided to go on Saturday and make a reservation for three. What can I say? Our experience was incredibly positive!! We chose two Piedmontese menus, with tastings of mouth-watering traditional dishes, while the third of us chose the à la carte menu, with generous and incredibly tasty dishes! The photos of the food speak for themselves! We'll definitely be back!

I ate lunch here one day it it was good! I ate from the vegetarian options and couldn’t even finish my food they gave me so much! I had this vegetarian casserole topped with a type of breading. The setting is wonderful and if you’re lucky, you’ll be serenaded by the music hall across the way while you eat.
I love this place... A place in the heart of Fossano where ambition and dedication to one's work can be perceived and found in the dishes offered. Very clean place, the service is not rushed and allows you to enjoy the evening and the boy in the dining room is very professional and kind. The quality of the food is excellent, the menu offers an interesting mix of tradition and innovation between Piedmontese and Ligurian cuisine and the first courses are all fresh handmade pasta. Sublime cod, really good and special agnolotti with the unusual combination with lemon that is noticeable but not overpowering and not to mention the parmigiana really GOOD like your grandmother makes at home... and to finish off in the best possible way a spectacular tiramisu!! Congratulations! I really recommend it!!!
A small restaurant in the center of Fossano. Welcoming and friendly staff. The place is well-kept and clean, but not overly pretentious. As for the dishes, I'd say the ingredients are excellent, but perhaps the combinations aren't always spot-on. Portions aren't generous. The quality/price ratio is too high for what's on offer.
