Maybe the crew can sharpen their skills on the customer service department, but the people in the back most definitely deserve a raise. Those bento boxes are lovely when you don't know what you wanna eat. I find myself in this boat a lot of times.

I absolutely love this place, I have had many sushi places in and around the surrounding areas and Omoi Sushi is by far the best. The quality of food prepared here is unequivocally the best!

Wow just WOW!!, all these people who have negative things to say about this place are just people who have super high expectations. This place feels cozy and at home. I come about 4 times a month or more. These people treat you like royalty. Paul is THE MAN! thank you for the amazing service. Keep it up.

Very fun restaurant. Everybody was very honestly friendly (not Chili's restaurant kind of "fake friendly"). Sushi chef, Blue, was knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. Fish was great. I will have to go back.

This place has the best sushi I have had, the staff is very friendly, and it's inexpensive. I'm sad to have moved away, but when I was living nearby I would order several times per week and the quality was always great.

Excellent. Super delicious. Must try. Baked salmon roll aka Lion Roll is best I’ve ever had. Lobster roll minus crab sub spicy tuna was fantastic. The yellowtail hamachi was perfect. Thick delicious slices.

I love this sushi spot. I have become a regular after a friend of mine told me they’ve been coming here with their family since they were a child. The sushi is better quality than other places that have a similar price point. The menu serves a variety of tastes and allows for many different combinations of good quality food. The atmosphere when you dine in is quaint and homey. The staff are always so kind. The wait time for take out is never too crazy because the indoor seating capacity isn’t very high. It’s a good place for intimate dinners. I’m not very familiar with the lunch rush or what it might be like earlier in the day, as I have mostly come by in the evening.

Sushi was so bomb. Fair warning, if you are looking for a traditional sushi experience where the fish quality is the star of the show, this is not it. Not to say the food is not fresh, but most of the dishes are lathered in sauce and creamy ingredients, and we like in that way. We liked all the sushi we had, so just go with what you think is your favorite ingredients. I like that our waitress tells us the name of all the sushi that came out.

Was in the area, read the reviews, and what a find. My lover and i enjoyed plum wine and multiple traditional rolls and 2 special rolls and it was well worth the wait and the money. Highly recommend. Amazing atmosphere that's relaxing and quiet enough to carry a conversation while having a great choice of audible but not to loud music in the background with the chefs making the food right out at the bar in front of you. One of a kind. I'll definitely be back.

My husband and I love getting sushi here on our date nights. For an appetizer we recommend trying the spicy garlic edamame. It’s so good it’s a must! We absolutely love the crazy roll! We get it every time we go. The servers are really nice. It’s definitely a hidden gem.

They have an impressive variety of specialty rolls, bento boxes, and appetizers, so there’s something for everyone whether you’re craving classic sushi or something more unique. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The Lion King, Orange Blossom, and 911 rolls are all standouts — super flavorful and beautifully prepared. They offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery, which makes it really convenient, and the service has always been friendly and attentive. I really enjoy this place. They never disappoint. The staff is genuinely friendly and aim to please their customers. The sushi is very delicious but the overall experience is what I keep coming back for. I’m very impressed with the chef’s menu and skill set, so I try something new each time and the staff truly appreciate the business and they let you know that they do.

Great sushi! So far, it's the best I've tried in Orange County. Lots of flavor, generous, and fulfilling. Atmosphere/Service: It's cozy and friendly. The staff were very nice as well. They were up front about the wait time, and it was exactly right--20 minutes. Even though I got it to-go, they still made the effort to plate it nicely. I've gone to several other places that don't care at all and just throw it all in, so this was a nice surprise. Pricing: A lot of people said it's "affordable," but that's debatable depending on where you've gone to get sushi. I've had sushi cheaper at other places, with similar quality or better. Despite this, the price isn't bad at all considering the quality compared to other high-end sushi restaurants. I still think this place is better than the high-end sushi I've tried. I'll definitely come back from time to time to treat myself. I highly recommend this place.

UPDATE2: They don't close as early now. UPDATE1: Minus 1 star because they usually close 20 minutes earlier than listed. The best sushi in town! Much better when dining in. Get the: -Creamy salmon sushi (so good!) -Spider roll -Chubby lobster roll -Baked mussels (loaded with krab) -Spiderman roll (yes, pineapple belongs on sushi) -Miso soup or plum wine to wash it all down Room for improvement: -Carry specialty cuts Avoid rush hours like Friday nights at 6:30pm.

Food can be a bit pricey! Special Rolls Can range up To 11.25 per roll. So if you like to munch out just remember it might get a bit pricey in the end. Our end total was up to $75 but the food is so good it was worth it!!! I recommend Getting "The Hot Night" Roll! It is To Die For!! 🍣😍 We also got The Magic Dragon Roll, the Magician Roll & The Chubby Lobster Roll, a side of edamame, & a small glass of chardonnay wine 🥂 !!! All these rolls were so good ! Some had a bit spice to it but nothing too crazy! It was such a perfect balance ! The Chefs Are Amazing! If you haven't been here then at least try it! It truly is a place u won't forget! 🍣🔥🤤🤤🤤💕

California is the place for sushi. This is another example of top quality, creative sushi. One unique item is the crunchy onions they use to top some of the rolls. The selection and variety of rolls is incredible. The plating and service is excellent. Located in a small shopping center this place is a great find. I highly suggest trying it out.

The bento boxes are to die for! I get the spicy chicken and my sister gets the beef teriyaki. It comes with tempura veggies and shrimp, 4 pieces of california roll, house salad, rice, and miso soup. We always get a dragon roll, caterpillar roll, a California roll and Cali tempura roll. Along with extra rice and miso soup for my nephews. The miso soup is honestly one of the best I've ever had!! The rolls come with about 8 pieces each and so this is a huge feast for all 4 of us but it is soooo good we can't help order so much!!! The staff is so friendly! We order over the phone for pick up and sometimes we get there early and they always try to finish our order asap but we don't mind the wait because it's worth it. We love Omoi so much!

The food is fantastic, thick slices of fish, quality ingredients, beautiful garnishes. The shopping center is older but don't let that deter you. Be patient as they are working to get more servers and cooks, worth it.

I’ve had all types of rolls from this location and they were all delightful! Fresh, great tasting sushi, with great customer service. I’ve also had their bento box with the teriyaki chicken and it hit the spot, satisfying. Their Yakisoba was delicious, as well. One of the best little hole in the wall sushi spots around.

Sushi here is excellent, fish very fresh and a lot of variety. Love their handrolls especially the salmon skin. Only have 1 complaint thus the minus 1 star. The music here is so damn loud and spoils the atmosphere. Hope the owner will read this and understand that loud music is not aways kosher. Their matcha ice tea used to be excellent but is so watered down now that you can hardly taste the tea. Used to love coming here but now I noticed that their customer base had greatly reduced.

Small shop. Enjoyed my bento meal. Just be warned, the teriyakjbeef is more like a chopped steak with Teri sauce but tasty none the less. It was quite warm for o ly having one other customer so that was uncomfortable but this place is affordable, clean and great service on top of good food.

super creative dishes! one of my favorites, titled "russian roulette" i think, has one piece of sushi that's much spicier than the others. its always funny to see my sibling suffer when they end up with that piece. however, it is pretty pricey, especially for their size. as someone who burns a lot of calories, i need two or three rolls. ive had equally delicious sushi at other locations for much cheaper. though, i will admit that this is still a great choice for lunch if you're willing to trade a few extra dollars for some tasty sushi with super unique flavors.

The food was good, almost everything was good. The hot green tea I ordered tasted "funky." In my opinion, cream cheese doesn't belong in sushi. Not a fan of their one too many sushi options with cream cheese. The spicy garlic Edemame were quite tasty and the item I liked the most. I'm don't eat very spicy and I was able to tolerate all the spicy items we ordered. Hence, if you are looking for spicy, ask for extra spicy.

My go to dishes are salmon sashimi, which did not taste fresh. In fact, it had a fishy smell to it. Upon arriving home an hour later, I started to get tummy ache. I had to sit on the toilet 5x last night with diarrhea. What a nightmare. Great ambiance..slow but friendly staff. Not fresh sashimi. The stuffed jalapeño is also not what I was expecting. A complete deep fried item with too much mayo and whatever else is in there. 🤮

I ordered 2 rolls for pickup. I had just given birth to a beautiful girl so my tummy was still bloated. I asked for two chopsticks and a girl who was with a male coworker laughed and said are you sure. I should have asked her name. I had never been fat shamed before, they should hire better staff. Food was good. The staff is judgemental though. I won't be returning.
