Visited on a Friday night around 9:30 PM — we were a bit hesitant since they close at 10, but the service was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly, patient, and made sure we had a great dining experience without any rush. 🍽️ Food Highlights: Biryani – Top notch! Flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. Naan & Chicken Gravy — soft, fresh, and delicious. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was great. Had a really good experience and would definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Charminar Restaurant today. We ordered one Chicken Biryani, one Veg Biryani, Chicken Chili, and Gobi 65 — and every dish was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and the food was served fresh and hot. A special mention to Harsh, who went above and beyond in helping us choose the perfect dishes. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the great service and amazing food. Definitely looking forward to visiting again soon!

Food was amazing and service was fast and competent. This one additional roti we ordered took a while to appear. We had to ask about it twice. It happens. No big deal. All the foods was great Biryani 5/5 Keema 5/5 Naans and breads 5/5 Chicken starter 5/5 Chai 5/5 Just go. Worth it. Will come back.

5 stars in all categories. The food, mutton biriyani, butter chicken, samosas and butter naan were all delicious. My husband, who is South Indian, said it was the best biriyani he has outside of India. The mutton was boneless, which made it easy to eat. The service was excellent, they were very accommodating and attentive. The restaurant is newly renovated in a very tasteful way and the seating is very comfortable. We came all the way from San Bruno to try this wonderful restaurant.

Amazing food experience!! This place for sure is new but is here to stay… we went with a group of 10 folks for a lunch and enjoyed each and every dish that we ordered.. some must haves are dal Bukhara, dry mushroom pepper, tandoori paneer and achaari chicken.. the naan were also soft and fresh.. the veg dum biryani was also well cooked.. the staff is friendly and were able to incorporate some of our request for dish customization.. do try the rabdi and gulab jamun as well as shahi tukda desserts..Ambience is super nice and they have a big party hall as well.. overall a must try place

A great new gem in the area. We tried a lot of dishes and they were all great and authentic, all the way from appetizers to desserts. The only downside was they didn’t have many mutton dishes on menu available, but the one dish I did try was my most favourite. Highly recommend for well priced authentic food with a large seating area and great ambience and service!

Butter chicken was super tender, fresh and taste totally different than other Indian restaurants in Bay Area They had complimentary Samosa, they were super crispy, fresh and very tasty. Chai was excellent. Fresh mango lassi complimentary, gulab jamun as well. Atmosphere is very lively and good ambiance. Entire staff members were very caring, polite and fast service. Since today was the first day so they had limited menu and over all I was very impressed with food and service. Thank you Javed bhai. Good luck and congratulations.

Interior was pretty nice, and this is a bit pricey with decent service as well. Visit 1: Got the Bezawada Chicken Biryani and it was surprisingly really good and not too spicy either. Visit 2: got paneer chilli (pretty good), dhaba chicken (not really dhaba chicken but still tasted good, also you can tell it had food coloring) and had the sitaphal (custard apple) malai and that was pretty good too, surprised how it actually tasted like sitaphal! Definitely coming back for the biryani!

The appetizers and naan were 5-star quality. Unfortunately, the Dhaba Chicken lacked that authentic "wow" factor and fell into the "average" category for me. The Vibe: Service is fast, but it feels a bit "all business." I missed that friendly, warm hospitality you usually hope for at a local spot. Plenty of parking.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I think because of our looks, they reduced the flavor spicing. The Garlic Naan was outstanding!! The Vegetable Pakora was burnt and very poor, we should have returned the dish. The Butter Chicken was good but lacked proper flavor. The Mutton fry Biryani was ok, flavor was lacking but the Lamb was properly seasoned. The Kali Marchi Mutton was good but not impressive. Very beautiful decorated location. Can't complement the staff enough We were not rushed and items came out at a great pace.

Delicious food and a welcoming ambiance. The breads were nice and fluffy, and while the soya chaap was a bit too spicy for my taste, the biryani had an authentic flavor.

Awesome ambience — both interior and exterior — sets the tone right away. Tasty food with standout kebabs, especially the lehsuni kebab! Also loved the fried pompano. The biryanis (veg, chicken, and goat) were flavorful and authentic. Only area for improvement: chicken and especially goat portions could be better (too many bones). Overall, a great spot for delicious kebabs and biryani in Fremont!

I'm a regular customer and usually order to-go from their website directly. I picked up mutton fry biryani, chilli chicken and butter chicken today. The food was absolutely underwhelming. I often order mutton fry biryani on weekdays and mutton dum biryani on weekends but today the mutton fry biryani did not taste up to the mark. It had a very strong masala in it that did not compliment the flavors at all. The fact that even their butter chicken tasted completely off today was very surprising. It hardly had any pieces of chicken in it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of food and the quantity of butter chicken. The chilli chicken was good and it is one of our regular orders.

I can’t believe a “Hyderabadi” restaurant can serve such poor biryani and chicken items. We had to return Lahsooni chicken tikka because it was chewy and super hard. Chicken 65 biryani was flavorless and the chicken was all soggy and mashed. Chilli Chicken was over the top saucy and super tangy. They should call it ketchup chicken. Chicken tikka masala was okay but tasted like butter chicken. On top of the disappointing food, the service was very slow with just one person taking order for everyone, that too on a Sunday! In fairness though, once the orders were taken, the food came out pretty fast. I went excited, but left very disappointed. Avoid this place. In the crowded Indian restaurant space of Fremont, this won’t last long. Plenty other options.

Goat dum biryani is below average preparation, masala wasn’t cooked well & doesn’t taste good. The seekh kabab is worst and we returned, manager was kind to replace it with chicken65 and refused to take money for it as a nice gesture. Garlic naan was soft and nice, but chicken curry is average. Today was our first visit and may not go back.
