The flavors are incredibly authentic — the cumin lamb is a must-try, as is the beef with chili peppers. Every dish I've had has been bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. The staff is attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed yet memorable meal. I’ve found my new favorite Chinese restaurant in town!

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Northwest China Cuisine last weekend, and we were blown away by the exceptional service and cuisine! Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the extensive menu and making excellent recommendations. The dishes we ordered were expertly prepared and presented, with flavors that were both bold and nuanced. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's commitment to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Fantastic experience at Northwest China Cuisine! The food is absolutely incredible, with bold, complex flavors that you just can't find at most Chinese restaurants. The cumin lamb skewers are a must-try—they’re perfectly spiced and packed with flavor. I also love their hand-pulled noodles, which are so much better than anything pre-packaged. The cold sesame noodles were also amazing! The service is friendly and the ambiance is warm and inviting. This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for authentic Chinese food!

I absolutely love Northwest China Cuisine! The dishes here are full of flavor, and you can really taste the authenticity in each bite. The cumin lamb is so tender and flavorful, and the hand-pulled noodles are amazing—chewy with a great bite to them. I also highly recommend their spicy stir-fried eggplant, which is both crispy and perfectly seasoned. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself has a great, relaxed atmosphere. This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town!

We picked a few dishes and we were not disappointed. • Liang Pi • Braised Beef Noodles • Cucumber salad with shank Definitely cannot go wrong with any of the above. Staff is friendly. Food comes out pretty quickly and is nice and hot.

The taste is not bad, good for group dining.

After the original review of being turned away at their door, I paid them another two visits. The owner was friendly but they seem to struggle with getting enough staff, and service is inadequate... Food is delicious, but very oily. Will try to ask for light oil specifically next time and update my review accordingly. -Original review- Google said it's open, when I got there, the staff said it's closed. Wasted my time, they should really update their opening hours before putting in ads.

Overheard their convos in Chinese and apparently they were out of a lot of things and kept on replacing things with other things in door dash orders?? I would give it 0 star if possible. It’s not authentic Lanzhou Beef Noodle. The noodles are not hand pulled! The plates are sticky and dirty. I visited this restaurant a couple of times, it was one of my favorite regional eateries. But everything has changed.

Some dishes graphic gap is too large, the waiter thinks it doesn't matter. Some of the dishes don't even have the necessary sauce. All the dishes are oily and have a kind of uniform seasoning flavor. Not again. My friend recommended this place. My friend has a bad taste.

FOOD SANITATION CONCERN! I ordered lamb, but the waiter served the dish to a wrong table. After she realized the mistake, she took the dish back to the kitchen and after ~2min, she served the same dish to our table. I raised the concern that this dish has been put on to the wrong table and it may has been touched. The waiter promised me to order a new one. Then she put the dish on the counter table. After ~5min, she served the dish on the counter table to us, claiming that this is a totally new one. I told her that I have been watching the entire process and it cannot be a new dish. Then she offered the option to remove the lamb from our order and moved the dish back to kitchen. I highly doubt that they will reuse the lamb to serve other clients! I have filed complaint via Alameda County Department of Environmental Health. I hope they will do a sanitation inspection to see if the restaurant is preparing the food properly.

This store operates on HungryPanda, but when I went there, the staff said their HungryPanda machine hasn’t been turned on for a long time. They just told me, “Come back next time.” What a waste of time!
