*** Update: Now away for a job assignment in Kentucky, I came back here after almost two years later, and I cannot believe they kept the same consistent taste and quality as my first try. Mmmmmm, the smoked garlic taste soup base with spicy kick in the ramen was sooooo goooood, incomparable to any other ramen soup base in the Bay area. My brother had a new menu item, Bone-in beef rib soup and it was better than the traditional Korean Galbi-tang!!!!(and I am a Korean American!!!!!). Cannot say enough good things about the food I've tried so far.... I will definitely come back every time I am in the Bay Area.... Oh, boy, it was one of the best Ramen places I've ever been!!! I had the spicy garlic flavor; the soup base was incredible, the chatsu(pork meat) was tender and tasty, and the ramen noodle had great texture. Even the appetizers were outstanding: Chicken karaage and tacoyaki!!!
Best ramen shop in Fremont area. My favorite is MONSTER ramen. It’s very authentic and amazing so please try it!
Karaage Ramen was amazing! All the other dishes I ordered were great, too. Can't wait to go back and try tonkotsu broth Ramen. 2nd visit on 11/14.. had the opportunity to try the tonkotsu broth Kuro Ramen. It was just as good as the clear broth and the toppings were great, especially the soft chashu. The highlight was the new menu my companion tried. It had beef ribs in beef broth. That is a MUST try ramen!
Stopped in for a bowl and was pleasantly surprised. Good portion and great taste. The karaage was so juicy with a great fried chicken taste. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. I’ve been looking for good ramen in the bay and will definitely be back. Quick friendly service with a reasonable price :)
The Siro Ramen was great and so were the side dishes like takoyaki and fries! Also whoever’s in charge of picking the music for the restaurant, y’all have great tastes.
Really cozy, tasty ramen shop! We had the dry ramen and black garlic ramen, and both were delicious. We also split an order of agedashi tofu which was also good! The sauce is a bit saltier than most other places I've been to (as well as an opaque black, vs a more translucent brown) but still pretty good!
The best katsu curry and the best service I’ve had in the US!!! Must try if you come to the Bay Area
We had the Kuro Ramen and it was delicious. Very filling. We also had to try their Arashi Ramen and the broth was light and savory. I recommend the Arashi French fries. They are sweet and crunchy, going well with ramen. The complimentary oolong tea was very refreshing and light, with easy accessible refilling station.
The Kuro Ramen is just perfect. The broth is so rich and delicious and the garlic taste is strong but not too overpowering. Plus the cucumber salad was super refreshing! It has a pleasant miso flavor and an amazing crunch. Perfect for the summer. The portions were good and filling, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the workers were very friendly. Definitely the best ramen place in the area.
We ordered 13 lunch boxes, and I was surprised at how great it was. First of all, the store packed them so meticulously and carefully. I was surprised once again when I opened my lunch box. Each side dish was so pretty and wonderful. It was like eating authentic Japanese food. I'm very happy that I ate a healthy lunch box that really brings out the taste of nature, not artificial seasoning. It's the best.
I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Ramen Arashi. Service was delightful and very professional. The takeout packaging is great because the soup and ramen are packaged individually.
I went Arashi Ramen and it was wonderful experience. They have JIRO ramen(which is one of the very famous ramen in Japan) I highly recommend to try it! The taste was good and the staff was kind and nice.

Ramen Arashi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. The food, of course, was phenomenal—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that hit every note. But what truly set this place apart was the service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, all with a warm smile that felt so genuine. She even spoke Japanese to me! The chef, too, came out to check on our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s rare to encounter people this kind and passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for amazing ramen and an experience that leaves you feeling cared for, Ramen Arashi is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ramen Arashi is easily one of my new favorite spots in Fremont. The food is legit. I ordered the Arashi ramen and it was super flavorful — rich broth without being too heavy, and the chashu was soft and tender. The noodles had the perfect chew, and the bowl came out piping hot, which I loved. I also tried the karaage and it surprised me. Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and not greasy at all. Portion size was really generous too. Even the side toppings were fresh and well-seasoned. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. I already want to go back and try more from the menu. If you’re anywhere near Fremont and craving ramen, this spot is a must-try.
Their maze soba is so good. I no longer go all the way to San Mateo to get maze soba ever since I had it from Arashi.

I think this ramen restaurant is owned by Korean , but pretty good . Ordered Kuro ( black garlic ), $15 skinny noodle is great with texture , creamy soup base , 2 pcs meat and one scoop pork on top !
The special ramen was pretty tasty; my personal favor would be braising the pork a bit longer because the middle of the chashu was a bit plain. The maze soba was the main reason of missing a star— it was cold, which made the oil clotted and made the tasted greasy.
This is a cute little ramen place. Very casual. Anime wall is cool. Scallops were very good. The ramen is good too but the char siu is meh. Also weird to have to eat ramen with a plastic disposable small spoon. Hard to get the broth! It was also pretty warm when we got there. Thank you to the last week turned in the AC when she came to work.

Ramen had good flavor, though it was a little watered down. Needed to be a little more punchy with the saltiness and the tonkotsu should have been a little more full bodied. Not enough noodles, and very thin "chashu", I wouldn't call it chashu, but in any case they gave two deli slices thin pieces of chashu. Atmosphere was nice, service was nice, but they did leave me standing awkwardly waiting for a table for about 10 min, to the point the only other table was looking at me concerned. Worth a quick ramen fix on a business trip but not really noteworthy.
We had vegetarian ramen and vegetarian spicy ramen. They were delicious. I wish they added some protein like Tofu in vegetarian ramen.

Severely understaffed(she did great but was overwhelmed). Noodles were thin and not very good, broth was ok. Chashu was extremely thin and not very good
We are out in Fremont for work & came here hoping to get some good ramen and hang out before our long days at work this coming week. We come in and order our seperate orders (there are two of us) When I order the lady asks me if i want two eggs and i say "Yes two eggs please" inevitably the food is almost done and i check my receipt and see that she put two ramen and two drinks on my order. First of all i ordered two eggs not two whole meals?? When we tried to make it right she refused to offer a refund for the miscommunication. Secondly, this ramen is pretty mid and has little to no taste. The meat was bland and noodles thick and dry. Would not suggest coming here for the price. Other ramen places around are worth the drive to get some actually decent ramen. Homeless lady outside gained a meal for the night.
