Enjoyed a great late lunch with my hubby. We had the house salad (Bibb lettuce, purple onion, cucumber and tomatoes)and Jabroni pizza with pepperoni, mozzarella, pesto and tomato sauce. Both were excellent! We had great service from Austin who made several suggestions we will be trying next time. He was a super waiter.
When I was introduced to your pizza by a friend I knew that I had to come back for more. It was at a different location at the time. This was a little closer to home for me. I never had a margherita pizza quite like yours. That wood fired pizza is the best pizza. Will definitely be back to try more items from the menu. I ended my meal with a tiramisu slice and it was amazing. Thank you for giving my taste buds a delightful experience.
Danny was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire meal. It’s rare to experience service this exceptional. Danny truly elevated our dining experience — we’ll definitely be back because of her!
The atmosphere was great. We sat outside in DECEMBER! Location was great. There was so much to see. We want to go back at an earlier time during the day to just walk around. The food was phenomenal. Black truffle carbonara was fantastic. The brisket lasagna was excellent as well. We ate things that we had never had before. Then we finished up with a dessert pizza! Left all fat and sassy for sure! We will be back.
Our second visit but different location. Returned specifically for the “Brisket Lasagna” & thoroughly enjoyed it. Super flavorful: sauce, gooey cheese & meat were extremely tasty. “Cheese Nugz” were also a hit. Kim/Kimberly, our server took the best care of us at the bar. She was very attentive & made sure we were never forgotten. 😊 Thank you.
Cane Rosso isn’t just a pizza place—it’s an experience. From the moment you walk in, the smell of the wood-fired oven pulls you straight in and sets the tone for what’s easily some of the best Neapolitan-style pizza around. The crust is that perfect mix of chewy and charred, with just the right amount of blistering from the fire, and the ingredients are always fresh, bold, and full of flavor. Their menu offers a great variety, but we always find ourselves going back to the classics—Margherita, Zoli, or the Honey Bastard if you’re feeling adventurous. The mozzarella is house-made, the sauce is light and zesty, and everything comes out of that blazing oven with a touch of rustic perfection. The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, making it a great spot for date night, family dinner, or catching up with friends over a couple of pies and local craft beers. Cane Rosso nails that balance between casual and high-quality, and it’s clear they take their pizza seriously without being pretentious. Hands down, it’s our go-to place for wood-fired pizza. Once you try it, it’s hard to go anywhere else.
Cane Rosso is a very cool pizza restaurant in a great location! I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was outstanding. The servers and managers were always making sure their customers were enjoying their time and which was great to see. I will be coming back when I visit the Dallas area again.
I recently visited Cane Rosso and tried their pizza and pasta, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The pizza didn’t have much flavor, and the pasta was a bit underwhelming. However, the cherries and burrata were absolutely delicious – they were the highlight of the meal! The service was decent, but overall, I’m not sure I’d return for the main dishes. I might come back just for the cherries and burrata though!
Cane Rosso at The Star is one of our favorite places for Neapolitan-style pizza. Our favorite this time was the Johnny Utah, with sliced meatballs, provolone, and mozzarella; it’s five stars in my book. Oye server Zack was great and always attentive to our table. Great job, Cane Rosso!
The food was AMAZING!! The service was very good and the vibe was very much acceptable for all occasions and a variety of parties.

My family and I came here for lunch. Our server Jaylee was wonderful and professional. We would come back again. Food tasted good. The ambiance was festive.
Food was amazing. Truffle carbonate was the best. Amira was fantastic. We had a big group and she didn't miss anything. drinks were always full. Extremely attentive and very nice
The Honey (profanity removed) and Lady Bird are the absolute best pizza. Service was great (thanks Amira). Can't wait to come back!
The food is incredible, the staff is caring and caters to your needs! \nThey go out of their way to make you feel at home and they have a great happy hour!!!

My overall experience here I have to give 4 stars. The pizza was just average though. I get the 900 degree flashy-flashy oven concept but the dough in the center is simply undercooked. Especially on the Cane Russo-based specialty pizza with lots of greasy meats. I had the latest spicy version. It's also unrecoverable and inedible if you take the leftovers home. Reheating in an oven doesn't help. Go for a veggie or one with just one meat.
I've been here for lunch and dinner. I think the food is good. I had the La Flama Blanca pizza. It was fresh and flavorful. The cheesy garlic bread was good as well. I did try the spinach dip and that wasn't my favorite but overall not bad. The service was not the fastest. It took a while to get 2 drinks that were ordered. Hopefully that's not the norm and just a one off type of day.
Great food, interesting sporty atmosphere. The service by our waiter Maggie was wonderful, She gave us a run down of the menu and some suggestions of her favorite dishes and drinks. I got the Star Pizza and my partner got the Spaghetti with Chicken Parmesan. We also got an order of the Artichoke Classique as an appetizer. I quite liked the Artichoke Classique, It was like a cross between fried pickles and a blooming onion, would recommend! My partner's spaghetti was pretty good, the noodles tasted fresh and springy and the sauce was exceptional. The chicken that came on top was well seasoned, but was noticeably burnt. My Star Pizza was the highlight of our meal, such an inventive dish. The dough was well cooked, both in the calzone pieces and pizza pieces. The points of the star are filled with delicious ricotta, and I don't even like ricotta. And the middle has flavorful pepperoni. I would have loved the points of the stars to have pepperoni as well, but this was still an amazing dish. Aside from the burnt chicken, this place was amazing and I look forward to coming again.
Visited on a date night with my partner. We ordered fried artichokes to share, I ordered chicken Parmesan, and my partner ordered the Star pizza (a special here). The fried artichokes were alright, akin to fried pickles in a way. I felt pretty average about them but they weren’t gross or anything. We did substitute the sauce for ranch since I’m not a fan of spice. My pasta was surprisingly better than expected. There was a pleasant bite to the noodles and the sauce had a vague wine flavor to it. However, the chicken was burnt and I honestly could’ve done without the fast food pizza esque cheese on the top. Overall a decent dish. The Star that my partner got was great. The ricotta pockets were lovely and the dough around it was cooked very well and tasted great. My partner expressed that he wished the pockets had more ingredients inside them but they were good regardless. I felt pretty average about my experience here. It was slightly above avg food but nothing like some other Italian foods of a similar price in the area. I can definitely vouch that the pizzas seem stronger than the pasta here.
A fantastic pizza spot with a diverse and intriguing menu, serving up a thin, perfectly cooked crust topped with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The vibe is cool, that makes it a great place to unwind and enjoy a great meal. The service was decent—nothing exceptional, but efficient enough to keep the experience enjoyable.
A cool pizza place at a good location I have longed wanted to try this since I have moved to Texas in 2019. The pizza is Neapolitan style; it’s cooked at a very high temp and as a result come out very quickly. Honey Bastard. The pizza was okay. I was shocked how underwhelming it was. The spicy honey, the savory meats and cheese melded together very well. I think I wish it had more basil on it so to help balance the overall gravitas of the pizza. FYI. Wait to be seated. Great service. I’d have to go back to try the more traditional pizza variety.
This is a great spot for a casual, inexpensive meal. The pizzas are Neapolitan style, thin, tasty, not too bready.\nKudos to Daniela, who will after you at the bar--efficient service and a lovely, …

We visited on a weekday and were warmly welcomed and seated right away. Our server greeted us promptly and kindly explained the vegetarian options on the menu, which we truly appreciated. When we tried to order our entrée, we were encouraged to try an appetizer that was recommended as a personal favorite. After some insistence, we decided to try the Burrata with cherries. While it was well presented, the sweetness from the cherries made it feel more like a dessert than an appetizer for us. We also ordered the Pizza of the Month, which was quite good and enjoyable. However, we weren’t able to try our usual Margherita pizza this time. That said, the crust, presentation, and wood-fired flavor were excellent and really stood out. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, and we appreciate the friendly service and quality of the food. With a little more flexibility in ordering, it would have been even better.
My experience was not so great. We went on Jan 1st, so that may have impacted service. We had to wait long to place an order. Getting water itself took long. Few items from order missed. We wanted a repeat of the drink, and we were told that it was over. Pizza was not that great, it was soggy, and when asked to well cook, they said this is how they make it! I have had better pizzas.Poor service!!

Yummy!! Love the pizza & Brussels sprouts! Hot honey is a fav! They were out of some stuff, but overall good experience.
First time customer…Ordered the Cane Rosso and added mushrooms. Honestly, we’ve gotten better pizzas at sporting events. The ingredients were VERY sparse…taste was mediocre but nothing like all the hype we’ve heard about it. The pizza was about the size of a medium and crust extra thin and not much to it. I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture of it to share here. Also, we drove 30 minutes across town to pick it up since it got such rave reviews. Unfortunately, we will not be back.
Lovely area right in front of cowboys practice field, must’ve been the rush, and the server didn’t acknowledge us towards the end due to so many mistakes. Kept forgetting drinks and plates for mediocre food.
I live in Frisco about 5 minutes from this establishment. I went for a walk and lunch out on a sunny afternoon and decided to try this restaurant. The reception and serving staff were excellent. I was greeted and seated promptly and my server was polite and efficient. Unfortunately the spaghetti and meatballs I ordered was without question the worst plate I have eaten in all my years. The spaghetti was way underdone and the meatballs lacked any flavor. The food was lukewarm. I probably will not return and certainly won't recommeded this place to others.
I absolutely LOVED the Carne Rosso in Carrollton. I've been there about 3-4 times, and the pizzas have always been excetional. So it was such a disappointment to be getting the worst pizzas I've ever had. They were burnt and chewy. Some of the toppings were sparse. And the margherita was basically just a cheese pizza. For the asking price, this was completely unacceptable. All this to say, I recommend the location in Carrollton. Even when they're busy, the pizzas were amazing. When I went to pick up these pizzas, there were hardly any tables taken.
