Great Mexican food. Chips were good and thin and the hot sauce was OK. The #1 had carne guisada which was a large serving and quite tasty. The #4 enchiladas were just right, good beef and cheese, covered with beef. Good whole beans and rice.
Great food. Went with family and everyone loved their food. Had the Chalupas plate (Chicken), Deluxe Plate, and Tacos.
Solid home cooked Mexican place. Friendly staff and nice ambiance. Good prices and great food. Nice people. Was happy to have dinner there.
So cozy, great authentic Mexican food and amazing guacamole cheeseburger 🍔 😋 Friendly service and perfect spot. Family oriented. Kids loved it too.

What a great place to stop and eat passing through town. As a vegetarian, I didn't know if there would be anything for me to eat, but she was able to accommodate me well. Very tasty.
The food was absolutely DIVINE, literally made my friend start crawling up the walls. We ordered the breakfast tacos and had the most life changing, extraordinary, experience of a lifetime. CAN NOT Wait to go back and try more of their toe curling, finger licking, scrumptious tasting food.
Had the pleasure of stopping for lunch. Got the Mexican Plate and it was outstanding. There was no enchilada sauce floating my lunch perfectly done also got a taco crispy and well prepared. NO GREASE whatsoever. Will definitely recommend to my friends . If you do not like it that is a shame because I thought the visit was 5Stars

The food is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is that of a hometown diner.
I have eaten at Estella's since I was a teenager(I'm 51 now), but it was Nora's back then. They have pretty darn good mexican food. May not be the absolute best in the state, but for our small town, if your passing through, it won't disappoint. They are friendly staff and down home atmosphere. Their breakfasts are pretty tasty. There is always the morning regulars there and its easy to call in my order and pick it up on the way to work within 15 min.
My waitress was wonderful. The food tasted like it was just reheated frozen food from the grocery store. Very overpriced About 13.99 for the combo plate.

We ate lunch here. The food could have been warmer. Also you should consider serving refried beans instead of whole beans.

We stopped in a few days ago for the first time. My husband meal was ok. But I got the queso patty it was just a hamburger patty with very little queso I could hardly taste it with a little lettuce tomato jalapeño rice and beans. Definitely not worth $15.99
Pretty disappointing actually. The previous reviews were so good that now we are wondering if they were staged or did they just get new owners?? Salsa was very spicy hot - cheese dip had almost no taste (even after salt and pepper & adding salsa - still flavorless - at $7/dish - only thing we did take home was the cheese for our cat).
We stopped here on our way to Houston. Let me preface by saying that the wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I just was not impressed with the food and prices. They overcharged me ($27 for a small queso and one lunch plate). When I questioned the charge the owner/manager? was acting like they couldn't reverse the credit card transaction so I just left extra as "tip" but I still didn't understand why I was charged that much money for so little food.

It really needs a week of cleaning. The fajitas and rice you see in the picture tasted like a Asian Hibachi flavor, guacamole was bad, flour tortillas were thick like cardboard.

Horrible service and the manager was the rudest restaurant manager that I have ever encountered. We get there and we had a kinda big party there was only one waiter he had no help drinks can out way later after we got there.. ordered beer the beer was very hot not even like warm. Ordered queso the queso was hard and cold. Food took the longest ever and it looked very unprofessional and my order was wrong never got the order correct as I ordered it. The fajitas were ice cold. We asked for ketchup for my kids nuggets the manager had to open a ketchup bottle from the store peeled the top off with his bare hands No gloves or mask worn by anybody!!! Did not see any employees wash their hands! Complained to manager he gave no apologies he treated us with the most absolute rudeness ever! He then called the cops on us for complaining about the food! Horrible Horrible experience! We will tell everyone never to visit this restaurant!!! We will never ever eat here again!! Our waiter was very nice and did all he could considering the manager never helped him and he was all alone. You all just lost much business due to your lack of customer service and understanding your consumers!! Never go to Estella’s in Ganado!😡😡😡
Food was awful. Inedible. Service was good, kind staff. Again, food was absolutely horrible. I had the carne guisada. Something from a can may have been better, it was gray, gross. Beef enchiladas were terrible also. Super unimpressed. They should be ashamed cooking like that in South Texas smh.
Food was not good at all. The Mexican rice was bland, the fajita was chewy and was just the skirt. No presentation whatsoever. The waitress was nice and friendly. There was a musty odor.
Awful!! We ordered a bowl of guacamole...had zero flavor. Ordered barbacoa tacos.....TERRIBLE!! Hotter than the depths of hell is NOT a flavor. And I have no idea what kind of meat it was made out of...but it was crappiest, cheapest meat ever. I'll never go back to Estella's again.

one of the worst restaurants i have ever been too the food was disgusting the chips so stale and hot sauce tasted like a can of tamato sauce .. the place is very old and dirty seen little roaches crawling. Service sucked also never once did we get asked if we needed anything .And CRAZY over priced . horrible horrible i have no idea how that place stays open..
