A Sunday lunch for two birthdays in one. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our grandmother and granddaughter's birthday, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a family lunch. The staff was kind and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel immediately at home. The owner also provided discreet yet attentive assistance, helping us choose and pair the right wine with the dishes. The menu offered a curated selection of traditional dishes, revisited with a modern twist. We began with delicious and beautifully presented appetizers, followed by flavorful first courses and perfectly cooked second courses (the fish ones are pictured). Special praise goes to the restaurant owner, who even had a sweet thought for the celebrants, with a little surprise that made the moment even more special. Highly recommended for those looking for a place to celebrate important moments with loved ones. We will definitely be back!

A quiet restaurant with a varied menu of meat and fish, focusing on traditional local cuisine, including mountain dishes and lake fish. The atmosphere is very quiet, and convenient if you're passing through, as it's located just off the highway. At the end of the meal, the waiters come by with a dessert buffet trolley for you to choose from. The food is good, the only downside being the quality of the truffles used in the kitchen, which in my opinion isn't the best. I really appreciate the fact that the meat is served rare on a hot pan, so you can choose the cooking method yourself.

One of the very best Italian + seafood restaurants in Europe. Best restaurant of 2020 - 2021 for us. No matter where you stay around Como Lake or Milan, it's worth to come here for dinner. The restaurant has been operated for 4 generations and they have passed on their heartwarming hospitality. ❤ We went there for 2 straight dinners. If we had discovered this restaurant earlier on our trip, we wouldn't gone anywhere else. It's that amazing!

Passavo per lavoro in zona , mi sono fermato per un pranzo al volo, servizio impeccabile, mangiare buono, prezzo adeguato ai sapori provati, c è un ampio parcheggio, che dire , è da riprovare.

Mi sono trovato in zona Costa Masnaga per lavoro… Ho approfittato del Ristorante per un pranzo veloce … Personale preparato e gentilissimo Ho mangiato piatti della tradizione preparati bene e pieni di profumo e gusto…. Io lo consiglio vivamente sia come qualità che prezzo!!!

Posto tranquillo ( martedì sera), servizio abbastanza veloce. Camerieri simpatici ed educati.

Lunch: Pappardelle with wild boar ragu was really good!!! But I literally had to beg for cheese. For the main course, a piece of gorgonzola and parmesan cheese, really small portions. A glass of excellent wine! Medium sparkling wine Too expensive. Too bad, but it could be better! I'll be back

Marion Restaurant is known for its elegant yet informal style, with an intimate and refined atmosphere. For themed evenings (like the one dedicated to cheese we attended), the setting was usually very welcoming, with beautifully set tables and soft lighting that enhanced the tasting experience. Starting with Raspadura and buffalo mozzarella, the evening continued with a tasting of cheeses from the Pandino dairy, such as aged Quartirolo, raw milk Taleggio, and Cilindrone Cremasco. Wine pairings: Raspadura with Valcalepio classic method, and Pandino cheeses with Sancerre Sauvignon. Next, risotto with Pannerone Lodigiano accompanied by Rosavero Chiaretto, and finally buffalo mozzarella (delicious, as photographed) washed down with Rebo Montecorno. Excellent cuisine, friendly and qualified staff, I can highly recommend the restaurant. Priced at €50, in line with the food and wine offerings.

Went for lunch with relatives. The restaurant was beautiful and well-maintained, with tastefully set tables. The waiters were extremely friendly, and the owner, who is also a sommelier, was very kind and knowledgeable. Depending on the course, some of us ordered meat and others fish. He recommended a red, Pinotage, South African, for the meats, and a dry Zibibbo for the fish. These wines were truly excellent, both in aroma and flavor. I had a huge octopus (which was an octopus)—I've never tasted such a tender and delicate octopus before—and a truly spectacular sea bass fillet. I even ate the delicious, crispy skin. All this was accompanied by a dry Zibibbo, truly excellent, which enhanced both the octopus and the sea bass even further. Other diners also commented that their dishes, both pasta and meat, were truly delicious, paired and enhanced by the South African red wine. We also found the panna cotta and, finally, the coffee, very good. All these delights for a price of just over €40. Definitely coming back soon. Congratulations!!!

Excellent restaurant; I ate well at very reasonable prices. The restaurant has ample parking, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. The location is a bit dated, especially for those nostalgic for the '80s.

Prima esperienza in questo ristorante, ma ho prenotato ritirato cibo per festeggiare il ferragosto. In primis puntualissimi, io sono abituata a prenotare cibo da asporto da due anni, ma di norma, devo sempre aspettare ,mentre qua il tempo di finire ultimo salto del risotto e avevo tutto pronto. Due risotti con pesce persico, trovato un po troppo asciutto , molto digeribile e non unto ,ma senza un sapore preciso! Due ossi buchi con due medaglioni di polenta sono stati squisiti, avevavo un sugo a base di verdure , delicato, gustosi, particolari, questi.mi hanno.soddisfatto. Torta di mele con crema...buona, ma il giorno dopo con questo caldo, la crema era diversa da quella consumata ieri, torta un po troppo pastosa e altra dura non morbida come usualmente e ' una torta di mele. Due antipasti sono stati top, prosciutto crudo, salame, frittata, paté da sciogliersi in bocca su crostino, zucchina con un ripieno delizioso e non nauseante, una pasta con ripieno gustosissimo e sopra un pezzo di salmone ..variegato ma appetitoso e leggero nell 'insieme. Due pizzoccheri sono stati molto deludenti, pasta troppo cotta, formaggi e verdure non abbiamo sentito il gusto, ne il sapore dei pizzoccheri.! Per cui alcuni piatti deludenti e senza il sapore che avrebbero dovuto avere e altre pietanze top, soddisfatta solo al 50% . Forse pranzando e cenando cambierà anche la cucina, ma io sto giudicando solo il mio asporto.

The waiter was nice and helpful, but this is where the good news ends. The restaurant is next to a major road (SS36) at a famous tourist destination (Lake Como area), yet there is no English menu, only Italian. The beef we ordered was so raw at one side, it was practically bleeding. That wasn't a big issue though as that side of the meat had such a big bone you couldn't eat it anyway. Sorry to say, this was the most expensive and worst food we had on our Italian trip. Maybe it should have been telling, that at 8:30pm we were the only guests. (Or is that normal in Italy?)
