A wonderful location with great staff, quick service, and a soothing atmosphere. The food is great and the prices are acceptable. If you find yourself in the Gothic Quarter while visiting Barcelona, I highly recommend paying this place a visit.

I have been to this restaurant as it was recommended to me by the hotel staff where I was staying and they also gave me a voucher for a free drink called cava which I presented to the restaurant staff who welcomed me. I ordered the toasted bread with tomato sauce and seafood Paella with sangria and then a local Barcelona beer and then the dessert crema catalana. The food was delicious specially the seafood paella which was my third time having a seafood paella since I arrived in Spain. The staff were very friendly, helpful and would like to thank the chef Paul for preparing the delicious seafood paella. I highly recommend it anyone visiting Barcelona.

Paella, patatas bravas, and sangria - nothing that could be more quintessentially (or touristically) Spanish! The streets of Barcelona are alive with loud clamours, museums celebrating indigenous art, majestic stone-coloured castles and the innumerable souvenir shops that often have merchandise that are not very kid-friendly! We had a hearty meal at Restaurant Ferran, which was mostly run by Punjabis, or Pakistani or Indian origin. The quantities were vast, and the black rice paella was especially delicious. We spenr 3 days looking for decent place to eat and relax evening time. Look no more. Enough of small, shaky tables 0,5 meters from each other. No more stainy menues, you affraid to hold in your hand, or stupid barcodes you need to scan, download and wait with poor reception. Dont get confused with absence of people inside. This place was the best we been. It's a shame took us 3 days to get in here finally. Best in Gothic Quarter seafood soup, and great paela(which will be served in a plate,not in the pan!).Amazing desert and atmosphere.

Delicious meal with quick and attentive service. We started with the Manchego and tomato bread, both flavorful. The paella is made fresh and served from the pan it is cooked in onto your plate. The fresh fish Donostia style melts in your mouth. Excellent sangria. The atmosphere is romantic and calm, with classical music playing. Great date night option

The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and it did not disappoint. We got the tomato and olive oil bread, chicken croquettes, pork cordon bleu, and chicken paella - all were delicious. There was a good wine selection. The prices were slightly more expensive than other restaurants in the area however the service and friendliness of the staff made it well worth the few extra euros.

Restaurante acogedor, tranquilo y correcto con aire acondicionado y con menú de fin de semana 21,50€ ( 1 plato, 2 plato, pan y postre. Bebida no incluida). Comida bastante buena y platos adecuados en cuanto cantidad. Personal educado y atención excelente WC limpios

Entramos por casualidad, sorpresa agradable. Menu muy rico por 16,50€, al lado de las ramblas, raciones muy generosas, servicio de 10, acogedor, el aire de lujo, limpieza. Repetiremos seguro cuando volvamos por Barcelona.

El lugar queda un poco anticuado, la decoración la podrían renovar y los precios quizás algo elevados. Tienen menú del día con bastante variedad. La comida estaba muy buena y la atención por parte de los camareros fue estupenda.

Decent enough, and it's a cute space with good service if a bit fussy and overwrought. The food itself was only good, though, with no particular standouts. Calamarcito were not well done (fried food should not be soft and chewy), patatas bravas were dry, fish were overcooked, most things had too much grease. Steaks and ham croquettes were good though!

The waiters are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean and comfortable, but in general, the food is average to poor.

The tapas we had were tasty and the desserts were especially good! There was a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive.

He venido a este lugar porque me encanta visitar restaurantes en Barcelona y conocer nuevas culturas y gastronomías. El lugar es maravilloso en decoración, pero a pesar de que el camarero era muy amable apestaba, tenía muy mal olor y la comida, podría decirse que un 60% de 100%. Hago hincapié en el mal olor del camarero porque yo también soy del gremio hostelero y me parece que la presentación de un camarero es muy importante al momento de atender al cliente. Buenas noches.

Our hotel recommended this place and gave us a coupon for a free drink. Nothing was free. My sea bass in a garlic butter sauce had no garlic flavor and was overdone. The goat cheese tapas was fabulous but overpriced. Husband had paella and I took a bite. Rice was slightly undercooked. For the price, try somewhere else.

We were hesitant to stop here as there were very few customers inside but it was 3:30 and we must have missed the crowd? At any rate, I had the daily menu of chicken dish that was savory though a bit too salty, my husbands dish was steak and it was dry. Gazpacho was delicious! Excellent service, nice location and clean.

When: Friday at 4:30pm Party Size: 2 Octopus: 12/10 This was probably my favorite dish in Barcelona. Their octopus was so fresh and tender. It has a nice kick from the seasoning but it literally melts in your mouth. This is a must-order item. Croquettes + Rice balls: 6/10 Nothing special here. Fried things always are great. These were crispy but not memorable. Paella (single serving): 6/10 You must order a side app in order to get a single serving of paella. It was a little bland compared to what I've had during my stay in Barca Tomato Bread: 8/10 Crispy, light, and flavorful. This was good. Service: 7/10 Quick and responsive. Empty place but they catered to us. Ambiance: 6/10 It was empty during the time we went. It's nice inside but pretty dark with cherry wood everywhere. Overall: 6/10 I'd come back strictly for the amazing octopus!

Las ensaladas son algo escasas. Las camareras asiaticas se precipitan vaciando botellas en vasos cuando la bebida no es vino. Algo caro en relacion comida/servicio. Lugar muy regular para el nivel que pretende representar.

It's very sad that a place that looks this good and has such good service is held back by such horrible food. Some things felt off (went bad), or were slightly bitter while other items were bland at best.

Where do i start…. Had 2 plates, tagliatele with prawns and mushrooms and octopus. The pasta was bland, only the prawns had some flavour. The mushrooms were regular mushrooms you get at the supermarket and were undercooked. No sauce whatsoever. The octopus was weird. Served on some boiled potatoes with no taste. On top of the octopus bites they sprinkled some paprika or other condiment to give it some taste, however, it only made it worse!! My gf had to remove the condiment as it was making the octopus quite nauseous and hard to eat. The waiters were rather impatient and kept walking around the tables even though the place was almost empty. Hoped for a better food experience but we were dissapointed.

The only part of the dinner that I enjoyed was the decoration inside. The food was mediocre, tapas was just about passable, could tell that the seafood used in the paella was from frozen and chewy, extremely pricey for food which was just about ok. Had dinner here today and it was on of the saddest meals I ever had. The waiter asked if we knew the meat of the secretos and I said yes because I do, it’s usually a fat meat served with fries where the fat melts and makes a kind of gravy. Well, here not only the meat was dry but it had no seasoning and the fries we just as bad, I’m not sure how you can go wrong with fries. That plate of meat was 22€, that’s ridiculous. One of the waiters apologized and it was the best moment of the meal, she really was sorry for our experience. The paella was also a 1/10. I gave 1 star because it isn’t possible to give less.
