This is a great little establishment I haven't been here in a while but I like the way they remodeled the location friendly staff very clean dining area it's nice that everything is fully stocked napkins Forks and other items.
A clean store, and good customer service at this location of Yoshinoya. This location has a large dining area with a lot of tables - including a big table for a large group. Five stars!

The food is really good and cheap. With the combo bowl, you get 2 meats, rice and veggies for just $8. Very good deal
The actual restaurant was everything I wanted it to be. Clean. Quick and delicious. The parking in this strip mall however us something else. Be prepared to not be able to find parking.

I love the Sushi Sumo Bar...This is one of my all-time favorite places to dine. Wonderful customer service and most of the staff has been there for years! Very laid back friendly atmosphere with soft music and sports games on the big screens...if you don't necessarily like raw Sushi they have a whole list of tender just right cooked Sushi...
Great restaurant. Only problem is the parking. It sits on a lot with some other places older Asian men like to hang out. Pool, sushi, boba. It can be packed as early as 430 pm. Other than that the restaurant is amazing and had always had friendly staff.
haven't had a beef bowl in 17 years. it was soo good and brought back memories of eating there with my father who passed in January from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. love you and miss you dad.
The employees are nice. They are patient and have matters. This location is very clean. The tables and bathroom was very clean also. My food was made perfect. The cook added just enough beef juice and the vegetables was perfect too. I love this location. I never had a problem with my orders. I will always come to this location. And the managers always on top of their game. Making sure the staff are good. Making sure they check the dining and bathrooms. I even seen they helps people with there food to the car. That’s nice. My favorite place to eat. Keep up the good works guys.

My first time visiting this location goes back to at least 1978, when I worked at the Gemco Membership store located where the Target is now a couple of blocks west.
I've been going to this particular Yoshinoya for as long as I can remember, and realistically over the long years some orders have been incorrect, but this does not remove the fact that the food never disappoints - after all I still go. Service is always pleasant, wait times are not noticeably long (or maybe I entertain myself too well), and I'm always left wanting more. The staff here really do their best. Oh, and they give you extra soy sauce and chili flake packets.

The place is nice and tidy and the staff is mostly friendly. The last time I went though the sewer had some problems right in front of it so it wreaked of bad smell, but gladly they were servicing it. Service is speedy though they are lacking man power, and the place is kept neatly.
One of my favorite Yoshinoyas to go to. Yesenia is sweet and very courteous every time. I bring my special needs people here at least once monthly and the staff, esp Yesenia, are always smiling n patient. Sometimes the local wildlife can be a little scary though, so one star less for that.
Very dissatisfied about Scan the point reward. Forgot it every time I bought foods overthere. Should have on the receipt so we can scan like before.

One of the few that stays open really late! They usually have options you can't find at other locations such as ramen or sushi at certain times of day.
This store is open late (Midnight or 1am I believe?)... I love the new items they've added to the menu but they've reworked the containers to reduce portions without looking noticable or mentioning it to customers which just seems a bit dishonest to me... Rice isn't so expensive that it's something they HAD to do... So it's just the first sign of greed... Corporate greed!
inconsistent amount of meats , we go here weekly and some beef is little stringy and sometimes its a clump , don't tell me I used to worked for BEEF BOWL when it was called that 1985 in downtown LA , so I know my beef and rice , rice quality is not so good maybe cheaper brand before we used japanese brand and meats was really tasty but now its given to you messy and it got a little smaller than original combo. last year found a unwashed green onion and uncut from base , took photo of it and send to headquarters in Knox st and a person name Roman like had a template answer , no goooood .. not resolved yet Roman.
It's good but you buy 3 plates on 1 order and you only get 1 teriyaki sauce that is not right and the 2nd or 3rd they will charge you. That is just bulls..t!!!

Love Yoshinoya but this location has a lot of rude people. There's also many time that the food doesn't taste that great. I live and Gardena and I drove to the Carson location. They have great customer service and the food is always on point.
No drive thru, only dine in. Plenty of parking space. Staff was polite and welcoming. Restrooms were clean. Food was good until i got to the frozen vegetables. I wasn't quick to judge because we were their first customers, but i rather wait an extra 15 minuets than have my food half cooked. I guess thats what you get when eating unhealthy. Overall this location is great ,but i would appreciate my food be well cooked next time.

This location's food portions are less than other locations. Ordered a combo and everything they put in vegi, chicken, beef and rice were so little. Not sure if this varies by chef who preps the food, but didn't fill me up.
It's been long since the last time I remember getting for lunch in Yoshinoya. It's my 1st time to come over in this place and I just noticed while browsing into my phone that the prices of their food is actually lower than the one that was charged to me this noon. Aside from the 4 pcs.of small chopped chicken teriyaki placed on top of my rice in the SMALL "bowl" with cabbage given to me, I was also charged of less than $9.00. I'm not sure if the drink is $3.00 (wish I have my receipt), still that's too much. It's a busy lunch time and everyone were rushing but that should not be a reason to charge too much to the customer or giving the wrong size of a bowl. Won't come back here anymore.
I went to have lunch at 11:30 and was told I had to wait 20 minutes for the rice to cook. I thought she was joking, but was not. What restaurant Japanese or other doesn't have cooked rice ready. They opened at 10:00 a.m. staff was nice enough and continued to take orders. Needless to say by the time rice was ready there was a Hugh crowd waiting. I finally got my order at 12:15. Food was just O.K.
They bump tickets early. I was at the billards place. Ordered some chicken and within 5min the app stated it was ready. I walked over and waited for 20 minutes+ I included my receipt. Go back and watch footage. They're slow but they might seem like they're doing good because they bump the order on their screens to look good for corporate.
Foods great, proportions small, my entire order was messed up after it was repeated to the cashier it was ruined simply out of spite. If your cashier is Juan goodluck you may aswell order through the mobile app and not waste your time walking in.

First, the veggies, I only got one baby carrot, one broccoli and nothing but soggy cabbage. I asked for brown rice thinking it would be a little chewy with some consistency but no, just rice that was probably made 3 days ago because it looked overcooked. The only firm thing I ate was the chicken and beef. I would have enjoyed it if it was hot. The whole meal was not even warm enough for me to fake that it might taste better than it actually looked. I didn't even bother eating the brown rice. So disappointed at myself for not going to Tokyo Central first and making it myself. I rated it 2 stars because the cashier was nice and the place was clean. I'm not coming back to this Yoshinoya again though.

I had waited for about 40 minutes to get 2 regular size teriyaki chicken bowls. I do understand that sometimes wait is unavoidable but for a 40 minutes? That's a little too much to bear.
I had hope for this yoshinoya. I never been to a yoshinoya, i love the product... but they gave me really dry orange chicken. They scrape Sriracha and barely give you any. It felt like i was chewing rocks for the orange chicken. Smh.
Unfortunately, this place is not open until 2am as both Google and their website advertise. Got here at 1220am and they’re already fully shut down. Drive wasted, sad.

Worst yoshinoya I've ever been to. The chicken was under cooked. The rice was almost raw bro and they hardly put any food in the container. What a rip-off and disgusting it ended up in the trash.
I just want to say that I don't think I've ever given a bad review. That being said, this place had the most incompetency and mismanagement I have seen at any yoshinoya location. I waited 40 mins for my food, but not only me. I walked in and about 15 ppl were standing around with receipts and they all waited to the point that everyone was visibly very upset. The person who took my order was either starting that day, a drug user, or completely incompetent and was in La La Land the whole time. Unfortunately, there was one lady who was trying to help him and checking on orders but everyone was stopping there jobs to do the front guys job, it was just a complete mess. I love yoshinoya but this place needs either more workers, or training for there new workers if he was new, and a manager/owner who is cognizant of there employees and there store.
Beware if coming to this location because the quality of the food is not consistent. I ordered a Hanabi Hot Beef bowl with a 5-piece of Gyoza to go. (I really wanted the Teriyaki Ribeye bowl but they said my free bowl offer didn't work for the premium entrees). When I got home and began eating the Gyoza, the outer skin was so hard that they were almost inedible! It was like eating pieces of hard plastic, they were so improperly cooked! I started to get stomach pains after a while. I called the restaurant several times to speak to someone but they kept disconnecting the call every time, probably on purpose. I didn't even try calling Corporate to complain because I know no one there even answers the phone anymore, definitely on purpose. I'm not coming back here again anytime soon. Just plain terrible!
I always have bought yoshinoya, however this was my first time that I was so disappointed with food ..rice like the didn't cook well or old meat was missing juice to dried like cardboard. is going to take time for me to purchase again 😔
Don't come during the PM shift. They obviously don't care about quality. Stopped by around 7:30 pm on a weekday. Place was dead, and for good reason.
Ordered a large beef bowl and the meat was all stuck together I've been eating Yoshinoya for years with my grandmother and this was the nastiest I've ever tasted. I asked Mark for extra sauce he was trying to charge me and it was free.. then never gave it to me left me standing there for 15 mins before I just walked out... last time I'll be at this location
I was here last night. The food was ok. But, I with the current climate of germs & viruses, I was wondering why the security guard walked in, went to the kitchen, was touching my order with his DIRTY OUTSIDE HANDS, & then left back out. I wiped down my containers when I got home.
Never give Search a Bad Review but Bing there in Raining conditions late at night the place had know Lights in the kitchen But everywhere else had Lights The cashier was Hard to understand And was not gonna a little difficult take my order. They should have just closed early?
Just had a terrible experience at this location. Brought the food back home and realized that the order was incorrect. I went back to get the food that I ordered and learned that I made a mistake of going back. An employee name "Dillon" was almost screaming at me and his face became red. Other employee, who was standing next to him, didn't know what to say. She was in shock as I am. He was screaming that it was a mistake but refused to apologize. The manager was standing about 10 feet away and she pretend that she didn’t hear anything. What do you think the result of the food that I received after this incident? Under cook chicken and 90% of the rice was soak in steak sauce. I had to throw away the food. This place used to have very friendly employees. Truly disappointed at this place. I will not go to this place again.
I ordered the 4-pc boneless sesame chicken wings and a large original beef plate. The sesame chicken was SUPER DRY and it was covered in a thick overly sweet and salty sauce. The beef was below standard quality..tasteless and bland. I took a few bites and threw that diabetes/high blood pressure mess in the trash..Can I have my $13.00 back?
Gone 2 seperate times and watched guy in back make everybody's order including online, while I wait 10 minutes this time & 15 minutes the time before- for 4 eggrolls- 10 minutes. Unacceptable- no appology, manager ignorant to my situation says nothing but yelled " ya ok" at me. Horrible service. 0 stars.
This used to be one of the original Yoshinoya. But now they just employ anyone. Any Millennial who doesn't care about quality of your food! They just want to hurry up and get their 8 hours done so they can get the heck outa their. And screw up your food that you paid for! Don't go there!! They need to get some real people. With real working skills. Not these failures. Whose parents told them, You need to be a doctor, a lawyer, or any high paying job. But there's no more jobs. Only if you already know someone at a high level in a company. Or jobs for flipping burgers. And they hate their lives. You can feel it as soon as you walk in. So don't go there. If you don't believe me just try it!
So bad the cashier in duty got a really bad custoner service. 1st we ask for a token for the restroom after we purchased our food, im with my siblings and a friend around 2am the ghy said that they run out out of token for the restroom. We have 2 ladies badly needed the restroom and 4 other customers have the same situation. We ask the guy why he run out of it and is there any acces to open the restroom even manager was not on the floor that time or not in the store. There was a little argument on the restroom buy not helping as out but the good thing the cashier guy called the manager to have acces on the tokens for the restroom he did a good job but the way that cashier treated me and my siblings he traw the token on us in the table. We just got surprised the way he treated us a very bad custoner service. Hope you can check if you have the cctv cameras on this branch and you will see all the thi gs that happened. Im a manager on a restaurant too and they way that guy treated us is so unacceptable. He even tol us he will call a police but when i talked to hin about bad customer service that he did i told him i can call a police for him about the situatuion. 05/19/18.

Service was horrible. They mess up your order and once you want it fix they act so disrespectful towards you and decline to fix it. I was not even the other one complaining about the way they serve people . Another man ask to get his order fixed and they answered so rude and decline to fix his order or to refund him as he requested. Bathrooms were so filthy. Had me thinking how clean they are when it comes to the kitchen. Never coming here again.
They serve your plate with small portion . They gave me the wrong order , I asked for it to be fix and they were arguing with me trying to decline fixing my order. They didn’t the same to another man . He asked for a refund and they answered very rude and declined to fix his order or give a refund. Bathrooms were dirty. I was craving for a Yoshinoya beef bowl today, so I decided to treat myself. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling really disappointed. I asked for extra soup, but they didn’t include any at all, leaving the meal quite dry. It honestly felt like I was just munching on fried beef. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this place.
They skimp you on the portions even when you are paying alot of money for the bigger plate. If a regular plate only has 4 slices of chicken why would the xl have the same.
It seems like they've changed their recipes on everything. I used to love their clam chowder. But now, you can't even call it clam chowder. The soup is virtually tasteless. I'll give another location one more try before I call quits on yoshinoya.
Yes, I just wanna let corporate know What kind of employees you have there every time I call there the phone rings 10 times then they pick up then they hang up. It's not the first time and I called cause someone didn't put no toilet paper in the bathroom. And also every time I call there, they always hang up not one time they answer the phone except for tonight and that's because I need toilet paper in the bathroom. They're very rude and very unprofessional. This is a Gardena, California Yoshino and Redondo Beach Blvd. and Western. They have the worst people working there.
As always, the staff are really bad. It seems they are not happy working. Maybe they are not treated well, Very common scenario in all Yoshinoya. I will not go anymore, why I will spend my money in places like this
I’m so sad i been eating at this place few times. But yesterday 11/20/21. Around 4:00 pm me and my kids. We stop to eat to have family day. But the person who was at front counter. She has a bad attitude she doesn’t have no respect. I don’t want nothing for free but they belive. You want free food. If they not happy with they job is better to find other one. I sorry but yesterday was my last time for me and my family at this place.
Haven’t had yoshinoya in years but I had a birthday reward so I used it to order my dad some food to his work. Maybe it’s because of inflation and rising costs or whatever, but I don’t remember the bowls being this small. My dad has fairly small hands for a man and the bowl was literally the size of his fist. All the meat could be picked up with one scoop of a fork. I read in some reviews that this place is very skimpy with their servings, but this is beyond unbelievable for the money they are charging. What annoyed me the most was that I ordered this to be delivered through the yoshinoya website. 40 minutes in, and the order still hadn’t been picked up. I called the store and the manager seems to have zero clue on the delivery service that Yoshinoya utilizes, saying that corporate is in charge of delivery and that they have no control over delivery at the store. I asked for contact info so I could reach out to corporate, the fool of a manager said he has an email address. Thankfully, the delivery driver showed up at that exact moment to pick up my food, but what was I supposed to do with an email address? Wait 3-5 business days for a response about why my food isn’t being picked up? Please train and inform your staff of the delivery process that the company you work for offers, kind of insane!
You guys must be kidding right? I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and they put more chicken skin than meat inside the bowl. thats funny they charge $13 for this bowl and barely put chicken inside the bowl. I don’t recommend anyone to come here. I will never come back and get anything from them

Employee working the kitchen night shift on 09/08/21 looked like the they didn't want to be there along with cashier named Mercedes (so stingy with condiments). I requested for my meat for my large combo bowl to be on the side and they gave me a pitty portion! PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!
Stay away from this restaurant. First, the service from start to finish is a disaster. they take the order in a rude and unprofessional way. as if it were a street food sale. The expressions on the face of Miss Mercedes who attended me showed a certain contempt for not being able to understand what I was saying to her, she told me “I can't hear you” when I said something to her (she is African American and I am Latino ). it was all very embarrassing and unpleasant, her facial expressions denoting a terrible contempt for my accent in the English language. I will never, NEVER return to this disgusting place.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. From what I've been told that the meat portions are equally weighed per bowl but this bowl that I was served with grilled chicken looks like it's more rice than anything. Cmon now dont be stingy when I'm paying full price.
Haven’t had yoshinoya in years but I had a birthday reward so I used it to order my dad some food to his work. Maybe it’s because of inflation and rising costs or whatever, but I don’t remember the bowls being this small. My dad has fairly small hands for a man and the bowl was literally the size of his fist. All the meat could be picked up with one scoop of a fork. I read in some reviews that this place is very skimpy with their servings, but this is beyond unbelievable for the money they are charging. This location close at 11pm on Sunday, on the website it's 2am. They tell me we're close but you're in there still on this clock not selling food. People pulling up to get food and they're hitting in the back.
It's very hot in here. How do this place let them work in here and it's soooo hot. The food could be better. My bowl was really nasty. I just wasted my money. My dog didn't even eat it. I will never be back. First and last time coming. GET THAT AC FIXED FOR THEM HARD WORKING WORKERS!!
I've been a regular at this Yoshinoya for a long time and have always loved it, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. My partner and I ordered two XL Combos and four tempura shrimp, and the food was terrible across the board. The chicken was so dry it had a strange, old taste, and the vegetables were barely cooked with whole, hard pieces. The beef in the combo was also dry and full of fatty pieces. To top it off, the rice was undercooked. The tempura shrimp were stiff and flavorless, clearly over-fried. We were so unhappy with the food that we felt we completely wasted our money we pay $35.98. It made us feel sick, and we're concerned about getting food poisoning. On top of the food issues, the service was unacceptable. I saw a cook working the cash register and then returning to the kitchen without washing his hands, which is unsanitary and inappropriate. The other staff seemed completely disengaged, as if they were just waiting for their shift to end. The quality was far below the usual standard I'm used to. I hope this was just a bad day and that the great staff I've seen in the past return. The current team, including Lazaro T. (whose name was on the receipt), is not up to the task. The general manager, Maria, helped me at the counter today. It’s not the first time she has assisted me, and every time she is rude and standoffish. She comes across as arrogant; while I was trying to place my order, she repeatedly interrupted and talked over me. She seems to belittle both customers and employees and does not appear to enjoy working there. Please bring back the Black lady who used to work the counter; she was much more polite, welcoming, and professional. I’m a regular customer who works nearby, but I am now planning to visit other Yoshinoya locations just to avoid interacting with Maria and will be letting others in the area know about my experience.
