This place is so good. I got beef lo mein and it was so so so so yummy. This is my new favorite Chinese place. Def come here.
Pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The portions were large and the prices very reasonable.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant with my family for over 25 years — since I was just 4 years old. It’s been part of so many memories growing up, from family dinners to special occasions. The food has always been incredible, comforting, and consistent through all these years. Even though we don’t live in Garland anymore, we still make the trip because it truly feels like home. The owners are such kind, genuine people who have known our family for decades. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts — the food, the people, and the memories are simply unbeatable.
best orange chicken I ever had! First time visiting with my grandparents. Thank you for the good food
Ming’s has been one of my favorite places to eat since I was a child. I especially love the sesame chicken and beef with broccoli, they're always delicious. The staff is consistently kind and friendly to everyone, which makes the experience even better. I highly recommend visiting! It’s always a welcoming and enjoyable place.
Excellent Chinese food. Very chill vibe inside and friendly service. The orange chicken was great
My family and I absolutely love this place. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and now I take my own baby and she loves it here! The chicken fried rice, Beef broccoli and egg drop soup are our go to! Def recommend Best Chinese spot in all of DFW
TLDR: Authentic and Delicious. Give them a try. Orange chicken and Kung Po Chicken are amazing. Perfect heat not overwhelming. Full Review: I had always wanted to come to Ming's Kitchen. I was not disappointed a bit by my experience. The place is really well kept and masks are encouraged. I had no issues getting my order in and in about 10 minutes it was ready. (It can vary depending on how busy they are.) I ordered Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein and Kung Pow Chicken. Also a couple of Egg Rolls. The Orange Chicken was nice and crispy and the taste was rich and savory. The sauce really brought a taste to the dish and the broccoli on the side let me dip it into the sauce and not be overcooked or rubbery. It was crunchy and tasted great. I had some fried rice on the side, it really absorbed the taste of the sauce. The Kung Pow Chicken had plenty of veggies, a bit too much celery, but otherwise really great. It had a really nice kick to it and the white rice complemented the heat and toned it down to be quite enjoyable. The Shrimp Lo Mein had a wonderful presentation. It had plenty of everything. Soy sprouts, cabbage, carrots, shrimp and the noodles all in a nice and rich sauce that tasted a little smoky. All in all definitely give Ming's a try. You'll be asking yourself why have you been going to the big chains all this time. Also, I live about 20 mins from them but the food was still nice and hot when I arrived home. I even burned myself a bit with the Lo Mein thinking it would be a little cold! Never making that mistake again!
Excellent spot! Very clean restaurant and the women running Ming’s are so sweet and kind. Our first visit and we will definitely be coming back for more. We ordered Mongolian Beef, Beef Broccoli with extra carrots, egg rolls and a small wonton soup. Excited to have such a great take out spot in our neighborhood. The food was very good with the exception of the soup… There was nothing flavorful about the broth at all, but the wonton chips 👌🏽
Ordered from a sweet lady who was thorough in getting the order and address correct. Took less than 5 minutes on a phone call to order for delivery. They said it would take 45 to 50 minutes. It took 32. I got steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, an egg roll, crab rangoons, hot and sour soup, chicken lo mein, Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. As much as I hate to say that this Americanized Chinese style food was good, it actually was. I can see where the negative reviews come from, but honestly they're unjustified. The food is cooked well, seasoned well, and not bland. It's just average. I saw one complaint about the Mongolian beef. That was actually one of the better entrees I had tonight. The reason it has so many onions is because it doesn't have noodles like the lo mein does. It's not that there isn't beef, it's the same meat to non meat ratio as the other entrees, it's just onions instead of noodles. If you want MAINLY meat then just get the sesame chicken or the orange chicken I'm sure is equally as good. The hot and sour soup was delicious and the crab rangoons had a nice crisp crunch and still warm and sweet inside. The dumplings, both fried and steamed, were bomb. The sauces were typical. There's nothing I could complain about this restaurant. It's just average. Find something you do like here, and I'm sure you'll end up coming back. It's cheap, they deliver if you're nearby, and above all they are friendly! At the end of the day, what matters is making sure everyone is full. If you're feeding a family, I'd recommend here
Visited on a Friday night and ordered two spring egg rolls and shrimp fried rice for pickup. Food was ready in under 15minutes so I liked that. Egg rolls were okay. Rice was good and there were plenty of shrimp, unlike at other places where I've ordered the same dish. Staff was friendly over the phone and in person. Overall okay experience.
Ordered over $50 over food Combination fried rice tasted cold like it’s been sitting out for an hour Combination lo mein had a bland flavor Ordered more it all tasted old
Really disappointed in the food, everything . I got crab Rangoon which was way over cooked then got sesame pork instead of chicken that ordered and also ordered beef and broccoli which there was an over load on broccoli with little beef. Also ordered shrimp fried rice where I was expecting some egg and vegetables in the rice for that price, but no it was just shrimp and rice . Nothing else. The price was way over priced as well. Don’t eat here !
Ordered the 32 ounce wonton soup received 30 ounces of liquid, 3 I guess you call them wontons, RIDICULOUS cost me $7.25 for liquid, not ever going back here i suggest to anyone STAY AWAY , THIS PLACE isn't very good to the customer!!
As many small businesses are struggling to get customers back in their doors due to the crippling affects of COVID-19, Ming's Kitchen has the mindset of taking advantage of those who choose to patronize their business. Today was my 1st time visiting. I ordered (2) Shrimp/Rich dish at the cost of $20.00. However, much to my surprise and very disappointing after getting home to find both carryout plates were filled with basically nothing but "BROWN RICE" (3-5 shrimps and NOTHING ELSE). This is a poor reflection on this business owner. You just lost my business!
