A serranito is delicious. A traditional Spanish sandwich in a municipal market. They also have a weekly menu for €15.90. Afterward, you can easily do your grocery shopping at the butcher, greengrocer, or Mercadona. You can sit inside or outside. It's advisable to get there around 12:30. After 1:00 PM, they stop serving serranito sandwiches and only serve the menu.

The bar is pretty good. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and tapas, and everything is quite tasty because, obviously, the ingredients come directly from the market; they're high quality, and you can tell. I especially recommend ordering any hot sandwich with a roll. The place is nice, with a retro style and some really cool photos of old Gavà on the wall, and you can also eat outside. The service is inconsistent; sometimes they're a bit clueless and make a mess of things. For example, you ask for a small coffee, and they bring you a large one, but they're quite friendly, which saves the day. This is something they could improve a bit, in my opinion. 🧐 The prices are good in relation to the quality they offer. 👍

I must say the food is very good, but the waitress's service and manner were not up to par. We ordered two set menus and two covers for my two daughters. They shared a starter with me and didn't eat anything else. I was surprised when they charged us €2 per cover for each child, and the explanation from both the waitress and the owner was that everyone sets their own rules and conditions, and they were very rude. If you said I brought food from outside and charged me per cover, I would understand, but not like this, just to set a couple of covers for two 3 and 4-year-old girls.
