The pesto pasta was very good though you should get the bigger portion if you are hungrier or have a higher appetite, they do a good Hugo spritz as well and the servers there were very warm and welcoming :)

The menu offers a great mix of traditional Ligurian flavors with a creative twist. I had the troffie al pesto, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Genovese. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put real care into every dish. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, 29street is definitely worth a visit!

Loved it here, great for solo travellers. Relaxed and great music in background and not too loud. Went large on a Carbonara...and with 2 glasses of Chianti for 22 euros in total...great value. Fantastic quality pasta. Friendly owner and staff who are very welcoming.

This is a really great place to have a relaxed tasty meal. We sat outside in the sunshine which was lovely, and enjoyed some fantastic dishes. The Genoan pesto with trofie pasta was excellent, and my husband really liked his pizza too. We also shared a cheesy foccacia which I would definitely recommend.

Really cool pasta and beer joint in Genova. The pasta and pesto were very good and they have a very nice selection of italian beers. It's not cheap but the quality is there. The staff is really nice and friendly and you get some classic rock and metal in the background. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town.

I titolari sono simpatici, gentili e disponibili. L'offerta è basica, anche a causa delle dimensioni ridotte del chiosco, ma va più che bene così. La vista è su palazzo San Giorgio e il suo angolo caratteristico della piazza. Frequentato da gente di tutti i tipi.

The pizzas just hit differently here and they are so so good. Unlike a regular pizza that has all the toppings added before it goes into the pizza oven, these pizzas had the ingredients freshly placed on top after the base with the fresh tomatoe sauce had been cooked. The combination of the cooked based and generous fresh toppings on top made for a great pizza experience. We were initially going to order pasta, but we were too early as the kitchen didn't open for pasta until 7.30pm. So glad we had the pizza. Great prices and great service. I can highly recommend.

At the beginning they were a bit cold, but then it got better, although service is not the heat thing here. Pasta is definitely the best thing!! And the mozzarella and tomato salad was also nice. Pizzas lacked flavour and more condiments (see photos attached). But I recommend it for a casual lunch.

We visited this place in the beginning of June for lunch . It was very crowded and people were waiting in queue for tables. The menu had a combination of pasta and type pesto to choose from. We ordered pasta with Genovese pesto and gnocchi along with two lemonades and a focaccia bread. The bread and the pasta were very tasty. The staff were friendly as well. I would recommend this place.

The service was confused and really slow, they forgot to bring us water and cheese and also gave us a different portion. On the other hand the food was delicious and for a good price. The thing that scared me was the water bottle cap, which was really dirty (maybe from mold?)

Pastas were great! Very fresh and delicious but my carbonara pasta barely had any bacon in it! The service was very poor! We had to wait 15 mins to order. I had to go inside to call for a waiter. Half of the menu was unavailable! Just some pasta and salads. Very limited options. None of the pizzas were available for lunch. It’s fairly cheap so overall it was okay.
