I tried the black noodle with cuttlefish ink. Taste quite good. The dessert crema catalan is an interesting dish that I have never tried. The restaurant is in a chaotic street with people who look like gangs.

⭐️4.5/5⭐️ Their Black Lobster Pasta is incredible. The lobster is very fresh & the sauce is heavenly. A must order item. Only let down is the pana cota which is average.

Nearly Genoa Aquarium! Spicy tomato sauce of mussels is very fresh and delicious. The seafood pasta and fresh fish that we r really enjoyed, salad is so so!

Good variety of dishes and quality of the ingredients, the end result variates a bit, some are really good and some average, but prices are good. Service is ok, but seems a bit understaffed when they are full, it's a bit difficult to get the order taken, but after that the kitchen is relatively fast. The environment is of a simple trattoria, so don't expect a fine restaurant, but sometimes it's exactly what you are searching for, simplicity and informal environment. Wasn't too sure to eat there before going inside and see the back room full of people eating and enjoying. Food was ok, like someone said in the previous comments, I was also expecting something better after reading the comments. Veal really stand out but the rest was average. Service was ok too.

We went to Genoa today on a whim and we wanted to eat somewhere good. Vegia Zena looked promising on Google Maps. Man were we disappointed. Tourist trap all the way. The food was bland and the service was okay at best and it was a bit overpriced. Why does a mediocre restaurant rank so high? To be fair I should have known when I noticed one of the waiters serving tables in jogging pants.
