A great little takeaway that is tucked away in Engineer Lane. The food is excellent and is served freshly made. There is limited seating outside, and while it's not the prettiest of places to dine, it serves its purpose.

We visited Rock Noodles last year when we were guided by the lovely smell coming from a small street just off from the main shopping street. Returning this year we were very pleased to find the noodle bar again, the staff were really lovely and attentive, had great recommendations about what to order and which sauces went best with what. We ordered pad Thai noodles which had a lovely nutty taste and Udon Noodles. Absolutely delicious!!! Speedy service, all freshly cooked and the staff really lovely. Will hope to return again next time I visit Gibraltar!

Jeśli lubisz noodles i dania azjatyckie porostu musisz tam pójść. Najlepsze noodle na Gibraltarze trzy rodzaje makaronów , to ty komponuje swoje danie a oni przyżądzają najlepiej jak potrafą. Dla kogoś z poza Gibraltar może nie wyglądać tak profesjonalnie jak okoliczne restauracje ale jakość jedzenia jest tysiąc razy lepsza. W porze obiadowej (po 1 pm) codziennie inne specjały dnia.

Absolutely beautiful food. Would definitely recommend a visit. Second visit 6th march 2024 and just as good as last time. Read the other reviews and I think they are diluted. Will still highly recommend.

My son wanted egg fried rice for dinner so we scoured google maps and found this little restaurant a short walk from the hotel we was staying in. Cooked from fresh and still hot when we returned to the hotel . Food was lovely and the prawn crackers were a spicy change from what we are used to over in England . Would highly recommend

Came to Rock Noodle twice during our two day trip in Gibraltar - yes, it was that good. Absolutely the best Indonesian food I have had in a while. And the owner is so lovely and kind - would 100% recommend.

Truly special Indonesian restaurant. Really love the food, I had noodles with rice & chicken. I didn't order from the menu. I just take what ever available good on the display cabinet at that moment, because I can't want any longer. I was really hungry after walking from AC Hotel in La Línea to Rock Noodles restaurant. Anyway it wasn't disappointing, I really love the combination of rice, fried noodles & chicken (like nasi ambeng). I also had some crackers & swiss roll (keropok & popiah goreng in Bahasa Melayu). Thank you so much for the hospitality. I really had a great food & atmosphere while I was there. Being an Asian & a Malaysian, being able to eat at Indonesian restaurant in Europe in really privilege. It really feel like home. 😊

it is hard to find authentic Indonesian dishes in the south of Europe, but the owner Laila is from Jawa so that guarantees authenticity, very moderate prices and always a smile, the place just had a remodelling.

The food here was absolutely delicious!! So many options to choose from and the staff was so lovely and friendly. Especially the owner (didn’t ask her name 😫) was a young Indonesian woman who was so lovely and chatty. Absolutely loved the whole place. Will definitely be back for more!

On the 3rd time of trying to get in here(it doesn't open on time) we finally got in but had the best personalised eat in service. Fresh ingredients and cooked to order not like Chinese takeaways at home. Top comfort food.

It is really nice, I didn't expect that I could find an Indonesian Restaurant in Gibraltar. That time I ordered Beef Rendang for me and my colleagues, the taste was not really have a great taste as its original food from Sumatera Island, Indonesia, but it was still okay. However it is understandable, because it will be hard to find the same spices in Gibraltar as the original one have in Sumatera Island. Anyway, there are many other menu available. So please have a try!

He pedido un Pad Thai vegetariano y su sabor era increíble. Buenísimo. Además, mucha cantidad. Lo sirvieron rápido y nos sentamos en una mesa de fuera. La calle es tranquila.

Todo delicioso con precios normales. Atención y servicio excelente. La comida se prepara en muy poco tiempo. Repetiría.

The food at this place is fantastic. Best noodles in Gib in my opinion. The delivery service is often slow and takes a bit longer than they quote, but the quality of the food is worth the wait in my opinion.

Tiny place on Engineers Road. Range of Thai food. Very pleasant but gets v busy at lunch time. Plate heaped with food. They also deliver. One of my regular lunch stops.

The food is worth the wait. But just know that it is not a fast food restaurant. If they could get the food to the customers more quickly this place would be 5 stars.

Ordered chicken Singapore noodles with Vietnamese spring rolls. Noodles were pretty good - different from what I'm used to, but nice enough. I expected the spring rolls to be Vietnamese summer rolls, but they were fried and the filling was average without much flavour.

Wanted Asian noodles. It’s just average noodles. The same sauce in different noodles. Here Japanese noodle is udon and Indonesian noodle is instant noodle…. The good thing is the service is friendly.

After waited for 1.5 hours , the food was not worth the time we were waiting. We spent £50 and the food we got didn't even worth £20. We ordered duck gyoza, lamb satay, beef randang with rice, gado gado with rice and stir fried vegetable. None of the dishes have much flavour. Stir fried vegetables we choose with oyster, garlic and ginger sauce and gado gado was same vegetable with different sauce and again neither of them had flavour. Beef randang was ok, but it was not and spicy and aromatic like their proclaim as authentic. Plus I found a hair in one of the dishes,which I am sure it was not mine. Would not be order from them again if we have a chance to come back to Gibraltar. Very disappointed

Small portions for the cost you are better eating at a restaurant. The food also wasn't great, sweet & sour chicken was brown with no pineapple it was carrots, onions, broccoli and soy sauce.

Food very bland, chips did not come with purchased sriracha mayo, 25 minutes late would not recommend.....lesson learnt!!

The service is so bad, if you took a look at the kitchen is very dirty, the owner smile with the clients but she's very rude to the stuff and she treated her like a slave.

Food used to be good but the service has been appalling lately. The owner is rude and cocky.

Honestly the worst Indonesian food I have ever eaten. The rice was in a bad state, inedible, we paid 40 worth of rotten food, the lamb was dry and the taste was odd, I feel scammed, I would rate this dinner -5 stars if I could, so disappointing.

A complete disappointment. Over priced for the portions given, especially the prawn crackers. Sesame chicken had no flavor nor sesame seeds on it. Sweet & sour chicken tasteless with not even a sweet tinge to it. lastly the pad thai was very dry with little taste of pad thai. Paid extra for satay sauce which was a small tub of very watered down sauce which was more like water consistency, honestly a frustrating meal.

Instead of letting me know that what I had ordered was not available, they sent me a box of completely different dumplings which I could not eat. When I called them to ask them to pick them back up so I could get a refund for my food I waited for 2 hours and the food ended up going in the bin. Still waiting on my refund for the order however the woman who picks up the phone (incredibly rude and unprofessional) kept hanging up on me every time I called regarding this. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here through any apps or individually as they won’t tell you that they’ve run low on food, they’ll just send you something random regardless of your dietary requirements.

They served the Thai red curry without coconut milk. They did not inform that coconut milk was out of stock just served this really hot red curry paste with chicken and vegetables. Also the sauce for the noodles was too watery so the noddles could not soak up the sauce which made it bland. when the noodles was eaten up I had 1 cup of sauce in the bottom of the container Horrible experiences unfortunately

Chicken wings smelled bad, tried one and tasted awful. Red thai chicken curry was awful too. Low quality food in general and not worth the money. I will keep to my staples.

Absolutely disgusting. Oily junk with hardly anything decent like chicken or vegetables even though paid extra for it. Avoid avoid avoid and go to Mr Noodles instead. Inedible rubbish... do yourself a favour and don't bother. Worst noodles on the Rock.

I keep trying to find a good oriental restaurant/takeaway in Spain or Gibraltar. I give up, every place I’ve been to has been absolutely terrible, including Rock Noodles. How can you get it so wrong? It’s not exactly difficult 🤦‍♂️👎

Ordered Bakso, Rawon, Mie Jawa, Pad Thai and some side dish Wakame, and kimchi, overall the service was ok, but the food taste was out of my expectations, not even close, the meatbal of the bakso was ok at least it is still resembling the meatball even though its full off noodles. Which it shouldn't be. The pad thai was no taste, and the worse one was the Rawon, I stopped on my 1st sip. And the food was pricey, spent almost 30 pounds in average for foods that cosidered not meeting your appetite. The owner should improve the taste way more.

This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a delivery service in MY LIFE! I ordered my food and it said it would take 30 mins to arrive. It came over an hour late AND it was the wrong order! I called to correct it and they said they would send a replacement. When the “replacement” came, it was the WRONG ORDER AGAIN and over 2 hours late to top it off. I messaged them to let them know this and ask for a refund because this was not acceptable and they insisted that I received the right order and refused a refund multiple times. I asked very politely and the fact that they refused to refund me a simple meal that was delivered to me incorrectly TWICE is absolutely terrible customer service and unacceptable in the restaurant industry. I will never order from them again, I am disgusted at their behaviour and attitude towards what should have been a very simple apology and refund.

This is easily the WORST takeaway I've ever had. I don't know what happened with our food, because the photos on Google show food which is clearly of a far higher standard to what we received. We ordered a prawn Bak Mie Goreng Jawa, it was utterly, utterly tasteless and only had about five measly prawns. I also added ketsap manis to the dish and paid extra for this, it wasn't delivered. The dish supplied was essentially a tasteless, bland, chow mein. The Oseng Tempeh with rice contained completely dry and tasteless tofu, nothing like the pictures and was served with plain white rice. The crispy tempeh goreng was both soggy and dry, no idea how that managed to happen. The Siao Mai was the only thing which met the standard of relatively tasty and enjoyable, but I think they were cooked from frozen. The giant prawn cracker we ordered didn't arrive. Ultimately, I do want a refund as this takeaway would be considered very expensive even if the food was good, but as it is terrible I just feel like I have been robbed. DO NOT EAT HERE. The

Don't waste your time or money. Paid extra for veg and chicken and got given greasy inedible noodles with nothing to speak of in the way of nutrients that was asked for. The spring rolls were swimming in grease and the rice and beef looked like it had been scraped out of a chicken hutch and a million miles from the deceptive images on the menu. All for 38 of your hard earned pounds. Well done guys, well done.

Every time I come here, they are not punctual. I noted that it opens at 6 o'clock, but I waited for nearly 30 minutes and it still didn't open. This restaurant is so unpunctual.
