Trisquel is one of those bars that exudes authenticity the moment you walk in. It has the feel of a traditional Asturian cider house mixed with a modern café, and that's what makes it special. I ordered a small beer and a pintxo and left delighted: quick, delicious, and in a very pleasant atmosphere. The place works well for breakfast, coffee, beers, or a drink in the evening. It's versatile, comfortable, and always bustling, but without ever feeling overwhelming. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. It's one of those bars you use as a go-to spot when you don't know where to go: you know it's always a good place. Perfect for relaxed plans, long conversations, and good company.

A Gijón classic. On Tuesdays, they play swing music and people come out to dance. Great, different, more like a brewery than a café. A unique place, with personality. One of those places that are becoming fewer and fewer.

We went on a public holiday around 7 pm, and it was no problem getting a table so we could chat while enjoying our drinks and listening to the background music. It's true that it quickly got busy, and free tables were scarce. The couple who served us were attentive and friendly. Our drinks were served quickly (one was an Irish coffee), and the prices seemed reasonable for the area. In short, it's the perfect place when you're looking for more than just a coffee shop to spend a pleasant time while having a drink. Finally, I should mention that they have the "nice habit" of offering a small tapa. A few simple slices of bread, for me, are enough to appreciate the establishment's thoughtful touch.
