This is our Korean bbq spot! We love coming here. At this point we are regulars! The waiters are always really nice 😊. Nothing beats the salad and side bar! P.S: You will get full! 😆

Went into LA Thursday night with husband to visit my son and his girlfriend. We ate at a Korean BBQ restaurant called Moon BBQ2. Parking in L A is difficult, but you had to valet park at this shopping area as there was really no parking. However, the food and customer service definitely made up for it. Price was $23 per person all you can eat. We would go back.

Loved the experience!! First time in a Korean bbq and servers made it the best experience. Loved that they have spanish speaking staff! They also serve tortillas!

Been coming here since early teen years and this place always hits the spot. Love coming here with friends and family. Second baby on the way and was craving this so much. The side dishes and salad bar are always fresh. I get fish cakes, kimchi, pickled cucumber, corn, mashed potatoes, sometimes a salad and japchae with my meal. They didn't have the japchae when me and my husband went for when they opened. But the KBBQ is so good. We usually get brisket, pork belly, beef Bulgogi which we got this time. They always have rice for you on the side and we also got miso soup. Meat, kimchi, and rice is always the perfect trio. They always play club music which is what we're used to.

Great place for some Korean BBQ. Parking gets tough when it's busy. Valet available sometimes for $5. The salad sauce is so good. Miso soup always steaming good. Best in the area. Steamed egg is delicious. Brisket, pork belly. All meats are delicious. Alcohol available. Workers are friendly and attentive. Positive experience.

Easily one of the best KBBQ establishments in Koreatown. The service is dope, the price is dope. The atmosphere is dope. Some may consider it KBBQ fusion since their self service salad bar now includes tortillas, diced onions and cilantro.

My kids loveeeeee this place. The manager is always so nice, he gives them chopsticks and a little attachment to help them eat. Last time we were there my daughter had a cut on her forehead. Manager came and applied a serum to help the discomfort. We’ll be back soon.

I liked it a lot, the only thing was that it was very hot.

Affordable AYCE KBBQ restaurant in LA that has 3 options to choose from. One pays before sitting down, which we found quite odd, but the quality of the meat is good, especially the bulgogi, which was marinated. The brisket was plentiful but a little dry/not as flavorful. The restaurant doesn't have many sauces to dip things in. They do have a "salad" bar with nice banchan options. The servers were attentive and brought out the meats quickly and changed our grill when needed. I also appreciated having multiple tongs at the table.

This place has a great look and atmosphere to it. It is usually busy, especially at night, so expect a wait time, but very worth it. The meats were delicious and plentiful. The grill takes a few minutes to heat up, but fine afterwards. !!!!The bathroom situation!!!! Horrible decision to have a 1 toilet bathroom. It may have not been any other option, but as a customer it is a very inconvenience. That is the only negative thing about this place. Other than that, a must try!

If you are a fan of Asian food and are looking for an indie little nice spot to satisfy your cravings of authentic Korean BBQ - you just landing on the right place. Let me start with saying that I only landing on this restaurant because the restaurant I was originally wanted to visit went out of business, and finding a parking a spot in this part of town is so hard (not that it's easy anywhere else) that once I was parked I wasn't leaving without my dinner. Across the street I saw a sign "Korean BBQ" and said "We are going there!". So we did. The Menu. I want to mention, the person like me is always looking for nice aesthetically looking... well everything. The menu isn't pretty, however it carries some very simple information. You only have 3 options of food and the party must be a minimum of 2. Okay, it is clear enough, so I don't want to reduce my rating. The Drinks. The choice of flavored Soju is surprising, and will respond to everyone's "wants". Here is my first complain. Paying for drinks - is pure pressure! The entire set up is prepaid "ALL YOU CAN EAT", so if you choose to add a drink, while already at a table, there will be a server hanging over your "soon to be drunk" shoulder, to settle that bill. Assumption is, this place has experienced a lot of "Dine and Dash", but I didn't intend to ask. The food options that didn't impress me: Miso. I love a good miso soup, however it was really spicy and there were no options on it. The Sauces. Actually, I have the same exact complain. They had a bean paste sauce I loved, but even that has been changed to a spicy version of it. The food option that have sent me to heaven: Beef Bulgogi. Classic, and so good! Beef Cubes (only with B menu). Absolutely amazing. The salad bar. Self-served, my favorites were the pasta salad (and that's a hard one, I'm very picky with my pasta), fish cakes, rice paper, and kimchi! Also, a pro tip, add those onions to your Bulgogi. And I saved best for the last, Herbed Pork Belly (Only available with B Menu). I can't describe it - you must have it! Restaurant overall has a vibe of Indie little hidden place for their own, this is not a mainstream place, where the servers explain things to you, or help you cook. They will expect you to know what you are doing. Sitting is very pleasant, this place might not have any high end furniture, but i truly didn't need any. Perfect for a large group of people or a family. The biggest discomforts I had were a little down the road. First, the bathrooms. With an all you can eat, they should expect people to use the restrooms a lot, I wish they were a little more taken care of. Second, OMG, please change the music! Most restaurants don't have any professional put together playlist and play some random stuff, but you can't play a nightclub music at a lunch-dinner place that serves large tables. I already have to scream across the table "Happy Birthday" to the birthday boy, I don't want to scream over music too. I come here to eat and chat, not party. None of the "discomforts" were serious enough to lower my rating. 5 Stars, from 15+ dine ins of this place, and I will be coming back again.

6/2022: Called the castle number and was directed here as castle was apparently opening next week. Looks like this is the same owner. Valet parking outside was $4. Similar menus and everything, ranging from 19.99 to 29.99 per person. Pay up front before eating—odd that I’d do tip first before knowing the service. Servers were all attentive of all requests and quick though. Kimchi was very good, as was the salad and macaroni. Brisket was not as fatty as I remembered, bit more lean but still good. Bulgogi was like any other bulgogi. Sliced pork belly was good.

This place was awesome the staff were super great friendly attentive clean everything you'd want in just a good restaurant. There was a guy who tried to be served when they stopped serving food and he literally tried to fight them to be served. I would never post violence on any of my reviews, but the staff atleast made the appropriate action to remove him from the premises accordingly. We were able to finish the meal in peace after that. What happend next? Nothing happend next.

This place is really good. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The price is very economical. There are three different price tiers. The restaurant was clean and cozy. The service is very good, there is someone always ready bring you more meat or anything else you need. I really felt like I was being served that really impressed me. They have a salad bar with different sides to enjoy your meal with. All tiers come with miso soup and unlimited salad bar. The beef bulgogi was very tasty and so was the chicken bulgogi. They have an assortment of beverages to drink including Hite. There is a two hour time limit but we were there for longer with no issues. The parking lot is very small and there is definitely not enough space for all the partons. You will probably find parking in the side streets and may have to walk a little bit. There is some parking down the street in front of the Korean church try there when the lot is full. I am very happy that I found this place I will definitely be back here with my family and friends. Good food good place good times enjoy.

This spot is nothing fancy. But the food and the prices are great. We did the 12.99 all you can eat, trying pork belly, chicken teriyaki and a couple others. Everything was tasty and decent variety of sides to choose from. The service is attentive, constantly coming over to check on you to see if you need more meat. Plenty of seating- however the place is hot and obviously is going to smell like a huge bbq- so bear that in mind when choosing what to wear.

Good, affordable, clean Korean bbq restaurant. It's consistently good and food comes out pretty quick. Parking can be a pain but there is valet I think it is 5$. Definitely a good place to go if looking for a casual environment for a good price. You pay for everything before your seated so when your finished you're just welcome to leave!

Great place, will definitely come back when in the mood for BBQ. Price is great for what you get, and I appreciate the self service salad bar with endless bean sprouts and noodles sheets ❤️ Hosts were quick and kind :) Note: They do NOT sit single tables. You must come in a group of 2 or more.

Very authentic Korean bbq for a very reasonable price, fast and very friendly service. The only thing that was really annoying was the loud techno music. It is impossible to have a chat with your partner

We've been coming to Moon BBQ for years. It's more affordable compared to other Korean BBQ spots. I like the salad bar which offers lots of side dishes. When you grill they are attentive to replacing the grill plate so it doesn't over burn. You will always feel full when you leave this place, so pace yourself to avoid food coma. My only complaint is the music is too load, we can hardly hear our conversation with our group. Just a tad bit lower would be great. Good luck with parking tho...they have valet in the lot, but often you would need to look for street parking. Overall good experience at Moon BBQ

Delicious AYCE KBBQ for the price. Everything tastes delicious. The price is low and I thought that the food was an excellent value for what I paid the last few times I was there. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Plenty of seating and parking nearby.

Below average meats that I wouldn’t want to eat again, especially with a $30+ price tag per person. Some sides were decent but nothing worth mentioning. Sticky surfaces and seating. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful👏🏽
