This tea store has excellent authentic products. I find the menu to be very similar to what I would have found in Taiwan. I think that it is definitely worth it. My personal favorites include the sesame foam and the sea salt foam with black tea. They only sell brown sugar boba after 4:00 p.m. They also have non-dairy milk tea for those who are lactose intolerant. If you're paying with a credit card there are touch screen registers. The registers are extremely slow and lag quite a bit so the line can be slow moving. You can talk to an employee if you have any questions or are paying in cash. You can order online through multiple online ordering services that you can find on their website so your order can be ready when you arrive. It's always a bit warm inside with only a few tables so it's not the best area for indoor seating especially since they use most of the store for storage. I believe the taste of their products more than make up for the lack of ambiance. There is ample outdoor seating and Wi-Fi available.

Wow! Hochaya makes delicious drinks. I got the beach tea which came loaded with fresh fruit. You can decide how much sugar and ice you want in your drink.

Arrived here with a friend, we ordered two drinks and they came quickly and they were delicious. However, the store was really empty and I’m assuming due to Covid. They were using some of the booths in the back to hold their boxes of storage however, it definitely detracts from the overall appearance and atmosphere. But the drinks and the service was great.

Simple to order kiosks available with many adjustable options. Great spot if you are looking for something refreshing. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Latte. It was creamy and sweet even at 30% sweetness. Wait didn't take long either (about 5 minutes).

Best boba in SB! A regular spot for stopping in and using DoorDash. Heads up: there's not really a way to enjoy your drink onsite, so be prepared to take everything here to go.

My favorite thai tea in the Santa Barbara area. I can get it not too sweet (30%), which I can make at home but the flavor is better here and the boba is deliciousy chewy. Only wish they opened sooner to avoid the nighttime caffeine high.

Fun place. Very customizable boba teas...cheese foam sounds very strange if you've never heard it before, but actually taste pretty good on the teas I've tried.

Best boba in Santa Barbara area. Boba and teas are fresh and made with real ingredients, not flavored syrups like other places in town.

Great bubble tea! A group of us (all bubble tea enthusiasts) got drinks here, and all of us enjoyed our drinks! The service was quick too.

A good boba option while driving down the PCH. This stop is right in between Gaviota and Santa Barbara on Highway 1/the 101 Freeway. Also a 30 min drive away from Solvang. Perfect spot for a boba craving mid-road trip! I got the Oolong Tea with Milk, which was decent. More milk than tea. However, I got this drink with the Oolong Tea Jelly and it was a game changer! so much flavor from the jelly. It gave the drink much more depth. Even my boyfriend (who doesn't drink too much boba) really enjoyed it!

A delicious and of course, a refreshing stop for tapioca balls drinks and toppings. Fresh and creative. The grass jelly with milk needs a tea added to it. Pearls are soft and chewy. Nothing extraordinary here, but it's a reliable and clean.

Drinks are great! The boba is garbage: it ain’t chewy enough, it’s nearly flavoreless, and it feels like you’re swallowing/drinking jelly. These black balls ain’t it and believe me I’ve had my fairshare of black balls before. Black balls tangent aside, the drinks are solid although price gouged. I don’t blame them though ‘cause have you seen the surrounding real estate? You ain’t surviving selling $5 boba drinks. Anywho this could easily be a 5-star place if they could get the texture of the boba right. Perchance.

this boba place is pretty good overall, with a solid range of flavors that aren’t overly sweet, which is nice. the prices are also pretty reasonable for the area, which is a plus since boba can get expensive around here. one thing that threw me off, though, was their strawberry matcha. i was expecting something blended or a bit more balanced, but it ended up being just matcha tea with chunks of strawberry jello. the flavors didn’t really mix the way i’d hoped, so it felt a bit odd. otherwise, the tapioca pearls are on the smaller side, but they give you a lot of them, so you still get that chewy texture throughout the drink without it being overwhelming. all in all, it’s a decent spot to grab some boba if you’re in the area and looking for something affordable.

Came today for the first time. Thai tea was about the best I’ve had, however the boba wasn’t fresh. Customer service was great. The place itself looked pretty messy/dirty behind the counter. Ritz cracker boxes and a slot machine toy thing lol whattt Hopefully they can improve, I’ll give another try, hopefully boba is fresh next time.

I always come to this boba place when I’m in town. I came here twice on this trip. I got the Wintermelon tea the first time. I love it because it’s not caffeinated and it’s literally just straight up sugar. The other drink I got was brown sugar fresh milk. That was good too! It wasn’t the best boba I’ve ever had though but it’ll work! My partner got brown sugar Thai iced tea and brown sugar milk tea. Both drinks were disgusting! The tea flavor was so strong and the drinks weren’t even sweet. Now my partner hates that place. So now I will have to convince him to take me back in the future lol!

I went in the other day for the first time with a friend and my sister. I ordered the Thai tea with lychee jelly which is my favorite bubble tea item to order anytime I order tea. Mine was delicious! However, my sister asked the staff their opinions on what was good, she ordered based on their suggestions and when the drink came out it was a watery milky brown that immediately didn’t look right. We tasted it anyway and it tasted exactly how it looked. Watered down milk with no flavor. We asked to swap to a smoothie because it didn’t taste right, which I was very polite when I asked and explained the drink didn’t taste good. And their response was “we have a no refund/no turn policy so the best we can do is offer the smoothie for 50% off.” Really lame policy….while I loved my drink, my sister reuses to go back. Wasted $8 on a watered down, flavorless drink.

The employee who served us looked and sounded like she wanted to be anywhere else but there and was audacious. My passion fruit Boba still had the seeds in it which made for a very unappealing squishy seed texture.

Thai tea has no tea (taste like milk water) Passion fruit green tea is 40% seeds and without the seeds it taste like the smell of urine I've come here with my gf 3 times and each time we are disappointed. The reviews make this place seem decent but it's always too sweet or watered down. Would not recommend to any kind of tastebuds
