The food was good but the Chinese people kept lookin at me like they wanted to throw handz so that is exactly what i did cuh. i asked "you want to take this outside?" and the cook did. we threw handz in the parking lot and it was even but i still got my licks in. i respect this resturant for that and they have my business.

I am surprised a lot more people have not tried William's Chicken considering how good it is. I love the fried okra (I hope my doctor doesn't see this...lol) but I am embarrassed at how much I can eat when I treat myself to their food. My best friend hasn't went back to any of the other chicken places since he tried William's. So yeah, it's good😊

Saw the sign under new management so I went inside for the first time in 3 years ordered my food and the customer services was great.. Food was great, customer service was great and a very clean restaurant. I’ll be coming back.

This Williams location has some of the best fried chicken. Not all Williams Chicken are the same, it all depends on who owns it. This one does a great job with the chicken. It is very flavorful all the way down to the bone. I have tried some of their other items and many of them are pretty good. The jalapeno poppers are great, the mashed potatoes are your typical instant potato, the coleslaw is pretty good, the gravy is standard gravy mix but still good, and the rolls are disappointing. This place is kind of divey but has some of the best chicken and is cheap. I always get the 10 pc dark for only $7.99. You will not find that many pieces of chicken for that price anywhere else.

For someone who doesn't like fried chicken, this place was very quick with my order, eventhough the box was broken and I had to order at the window. Food was hot and fresh, drive thru staff was great!

This is truly one amazing chicken restaurants. I’ve been going there for 3+ years and the chicken NEVER fails because always fresh always hot!!! I have always had a GREAT experience. Love the owners as they’re always nice to me and my family. If you’re in GRAND PRAIRIE, hit them up!!!

The employee / guy who took our order was patient and friendly. The food was cooked well, the meat was nice and juicy. I had a thigh and wing, my wife had a breast and thigh with fries! It was amazing.

Usually when I visit Williams Chicken the chicken is always hot and fresh! Unfortunately today wasn't the case; however the hot and fresh chicken outweighs the not so fresh that I received today! I will go back, hopefully this was just a off day!

They didn't tell anyone you could only get one 8 pc chicken for 3.99 on 06/19/25 when they had the sale. Then I tried to add a 2pc for $1 and she said no I couldnt!!! After being in line for an hour ! In the video it didn't say there was a limit. So wth??

This was my favorite location! But today there were a lot of young workers talking to themselves, the chicken was tasteless and undercooked! Very disappointed😱

For something a little different, they have great chicken with different spices than most. Update 7/10/22 Didn't get my chicken tender meal. To late to drive back. Couldn't find a phone number to call inquiring about missing food. 4 stars now dropped down to 2 stars.

This Williams was not as Good as the one I ate yesterday close to the Dallas VA. That was the first time dining at William's Chicken. One of my military buddies told me that they serve outstanding gizzards. I love gizzards. The Williams chicken that I ate yesterday near the Dallas VA Hospital was outstanding. Unlike Bushes Chicken they cook the gizzards to order. I ordered a 3 piece meal and 6 piece gizzards. The gizzards had my car smelling so good. I ate almost all of them before I drove back home. I wanted more gizzards for lunch today. That's why I dine at this Williams Chicken. It was close to my job. Even though they cooked to order, they were just OK, not as good as the ones I had yesterday. The next time I have a Dallas VA appointment, I will difinetely dine their. The Manager and his staff was very courteous and customer friendly.

How is this location still opened?? This is not AT ALL a real Williams Chicken!! Chicken is weird tasting.

I placed an order for 2 family meals, I asked for mayo and she charged me!! I canceled my order.

Make sure you check your food because they don't give you the order complete plus the cook he's nasty I saw him dropping off food on the floor and picking it up and mix it up with the rest of the food.

The cashier does not understand English very well and she had a hard time understanding you have to repeat yourself over and over until she understands what you want very frustrating

So I am a Williams fan didn’t know it was one in Grand Prairie. So ordered and when it got it I broke a piece off the chicken and omg it was either old or undercooked it was pink in some parts it was very greasy and just disappointed that I wasted money on that. Won’t be ordering there again

Had to honk about five times to get their attention. Came around 9:40 pm, they had nothing available. If you close at 10, all food items should be available until 10. Smh. The lady was nice but rushing.

Always a hit or miss. Eat chicken and felt sick immediately. Jalapenos were mushy. Chicken was hot and tasty. Not sure why this happened. Normally I would give a 4 *.

They didn't give me a bag and I had a large order of chicken, didn't gave any napkins hot sauce ketchup didn't even offer and when I asked she gave me hot sauce in a small container,this was my first time and last time..

They made me wait 20 minutes 4 gizzards. When I got home, they weren't even hot N charged me 4 jalapeños N didn't get them. This has happened several times. On 6/15 went through the drive through for the 12 piece chicken special, fries and dirty rice. Chicken was old. It's obvious it was refried. Dirty rice put in a drinking cup and covered with a lid. I returned the food and received a full refund .

I went today 07/13/2021 and ordered a 6pc gizzards combo with a side of greens. When I got home I have a 2 piece leg and thigh combo and a side of greens. I then googled the restaurant and there is no phone number for them. I then go to the Williams chicken website and locate the restaurant and when I dial the number it says the mailbox is full. I actually got my receipt and dialed the number on my receipt; which is different from the website and all circuits are busy, but dialing other numbers work just fine.

I wanted some Williams because I love their chicken and their spicy rice. I went today around 11am and ordered a 2 piece with a side of spicy rice. My 2 piece tasted old and I didn’t get the spicy rice I paid for. I won’t be returning.

They need to update there hours on the website. Also, they are only allowing you to order through the drive up window. There intercom doesn’t work. Since there sign says open at 10a.m., but no one is there. Going to Lisa’s chicken and seafood, they open when they say they do. Same road pioneer just farther down.

The chicken was hard and they dirty rice was hard. Not a very friendly cashier. He was more interested in bringing a young lady her food in the parking lot and talking to her. Without considering his customers waiting for food. They only had a very few pieces of chicken and no dark meat at all. This was around 7:00 pm. Next time I will drive to Fort Worth for chicken.

Today is 11/6/16 I bought chicken and got an incomplete order Missing 4 pieces of the 12 piece order. The fries were dry and old and raw biscuits. Please do not go to William's chicken We do not need that kind of business.in our beautiful grand prairie

Very upset. Never had issue with this location before today. I purchased the 24pc special witch included lg side and fry I added extra lg mash potatoes and lg fries additional and also a lg stuffed peppers. Drive all the way home just to see they forgot to give me rolls and my LG stuffed peppers 😔. The number on receipt is disconnected. I can't drive back because it's late. Very disappointed ☹️

The chicken had been twice fried and coated so much there wasn't anything edible, the person at register was ok but the cook and the manager came out and argued with me and another customer that had received twice cooked chicken!! How dare you!! Old chicken should be discarded. It's clear mngt does not care about the consumer!!

We ordered our food and gave the lady the card. She quoted us one price; however, we were charged a higher amount. When I questioned her about it, she said that our bank charged us extra tax for the purchase. I informed her that this has never happened. I asked for the manager and both she and the cook said they were the owners. They continued to both blame the bank. They begin to argue with me and the lady laughed at the situation which caused my daughter to cry since it was her debit card that they over charged. I told her that it was not funny and she literally said “I’m laughing because you don’t understand that your bank charged you extra tax.” I kept showing them the proof, the lady kept laughing and they became loud with me (which in turn I was loud back). She then pushed the man (supposedly the other owner) out of the way to keep him from talking to me. Then she threatened to keep the food that was already paid for. I told her she could not do that. She then said she would refund the amount of the original total and not the total that they charged. My child was still crying. I took the food and before she slammed the window she said we could never come back. That’s actually cool with me. Now all of this started because they overcharged us. This could have been avoided if they would have just owned up to their mistake. Absolutely horrible.

I purchased food today and alerted the Manager and showed the chicken which was hard and black and dark on the inside. The manager refused to replace or refund. She also had the audacity to argue with me and three other people about the food. I understand these places are franchised but I will continue you to reach others in charge. If anyone one else knows of anyone else to contact please comment. This location is horrible in service and the food is very unhealthy. They definitely needs to be sued. They can cause others to become ill and food poisoning. Chicken should be discarded when it is old and not refried. If the health department doesn't not review and see other people's comments and reviews about old chicken and food from other people's comments and reviews that is a serious problem. Not all people will have the exact same issues. I will be suing if possible and encourage others if they become ill or food poisoned. This has to stop. This is very unhealthy and the management (Asian staff) would not replace the food or refund as each customer took the food back to the counter. Are you guys (staff) that ignorant and desperate for a couple of dollars. You guys are a lawsuit waiting to happen. I even would question the cleanliness and handling of foods if you can't even cook, prepare and handle chicken correctly.

It was stale and no longer crispy. I live like 5 minutes away so it’s not like I traveled a while to get home. The fries were the same way. I won’t waste my time going back to complain. I’m too tired after work. I simply will never go back.
