The staff was fantastic, always great specials and regular menu items. Monday open mic nights are a blast!

Pizza was great! Got the works, fresh veggies and great service. Creme brulee was awesome too!

We have been back to Bernardo's twice since they reopened in the spring of 2024. Meals have been great. Plenty of food service help.

Walking in felt very homely for me and the presentation of everything was very nice. The wait wasn't too bad for opening day and starting appetizer was quite ample and delicious(got calamari). Now for the Alfredo. The cheese was perfect and the noodles quite filling. Adding the chicken was probably the best choice for and addition as it was perfect a topping. 5 stars, highly recommend stopping here and grab a bite to eat.

Easily the best pizza in Granville. Got a cheese, ricotta, and Margherita pizza and all of them were top tier. Only criticism is that they didn’t cut the Margherita pizza for whatever reason, but besides that, a great experience

Great service and food. My husband and I started with fresh bread, French onion soup and Caesar salad to lasagna and chicken Parmesan. We will definitely be patronizing them again.

I visited the bar for a drink and to order pizza to go. The bar manager was outstanding. He asked for my name because he loves to get to know his customers and treated me very well. He checked on me while I waited for my pizza to make sure that I was ok and to see if I needed anything. Pizza was amazing and so was the service. Also , the waitresses are very friendly . A very great restaurant with a comforting small town atmosphere. I will definitely be going back!!!

Surprisingly good food and huge portions.

The chicken Marsala was very delicious, and not to salty. But the music a bit too loud, and not the best.

We started with calamari. The rings were crisp and well cooked. The marina sauce was outstanding! We ordered sandwiches for our meal. The meatball grinder was great. The peppers were fresh cut and still had crunch. The sandwich had been placed in a grill pan, and this toasted the bread nicely. The risotto was ok. There was a definite flavor of onion, which is not my favorite. The creamy consistency made up for the flavor! The server was attentive and very polite. Definitely will be back!

The garlic bread with cheese was so crusty it was hard to eat. The alfredo was very dry. The lasagna had the same sauce as the mozzarella sticks. The desserts tasted good but not as advertised. I had the creme bruelee. There was no sugar crust on top. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake. He got plain cheesecake with 1 sliced strawberry on the side. Not exactly strawberry cheesecake. I don't mind spending good money($89) on good food but I feel this was not worth the money. I hope they get better and wish them well.

I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This restaurant has turned out to be the biggest disappointment as we’ve tried our best to patronize them knowing the owners. Our friends feel the same way about it too. Shame on those who serve food this bad: you know you do wrong. You know it.

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad to go and when I got home it was lettuce and a piece of chicken for $20.00!! This salad was expensive to begin with but missing the crotons, Parmesan and salad dressing. That will be the last time I go there.

He had an attitude the whole time, barely paid attention, and acted like serving customers was a chore. Took forever to get a drink and when it finally came, he just dropped it off without saying a word. Definitely killed the vibe. Won’t be going back if that’s how they treat people.

Service was great! Everyone was very friendly and very quick to refill our drinks. If managment reads this, there is a SERIOUS problem, and it is the food. We received chicken that was downright the worst chicken I’ve ever eaten. On top of that, our other food (2 burgers) were raw (chunks of genuine red meat) while also being flavorless. I generally wouldn’t leave a bad review, but I hope someone reads this and can make sure it’s fixed in the future. Props to our waitress for being so professional and taking the meals off of our bill.

Instead of feeling welcomed, it felt like an inconvenience just to be there. The food was very inconsistent. The lasagna was clearly spicy, despite the server insisting multiple times that it was not. While it was eventually removed from the bill, the way it was handled made the situation awkward rather than reassuring. The eggplant parm was good, and the spaghetti and meatballs were fine. However, the chicken parm was dry, and the steak was genuinely awful — tough, sinewy, and mostly gristle, with very little edible meat. It was served sitting in mashed potatoes, which only made the presentation and texture worse. The dining room was completely empty, which made the rushed and dismissive service even more puzzling. To make things worse, the room was uncomfortably cold, and when asked if the heat could be turned up, the request was refused. This was especially disappointing given how good Bernardo’s One used to be. The food, service, and atmosphere there were once excellent, which makes the current state of Bernardo’s Five feel like a real step backward. Unfortunately, based on this visit, it’s hard to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed, welcoming, and well-cooked meal.
