Isiah, London and Jennifer at the IHOP location off of Evans st in Greenville NC did a good job. I really enjoy my time eating in, the people were really nice and really looks out for their customers. Also the food was great.

I seldomly write restaurant reviews unless it was exceptionally good or disastrously terrible. Most of the reviews I read posted here were negative. Granny and I eat at this Ihop location at least twice a month. Always a positive experience. Today, 11/25/2023, we had brunch there. Our group of Fam and friends consisted of 8 adults and 4 well behaved kids aged 4 and under. Wait time for our table was about 10 minutes. Not too shabby for a Thanksgiving weekend. To my knowledge there were 0 complaints about the food nor service. I had classic eggs benedict with sauteed spinach and mushrooms added with hash browns. My order, as well as everyone else's, was tabled in a timely manner and was incredibly tasty! Our server, David, superbly NAILED it. From the very beginning of his introduction to the end of our visit, David was exceptionally cordial and on cue with every request from all members of our party! His attitude really topped it off! Ihop had better be paying him well, else some of their competition will scoop him up in a New York minute! He's def a people person. He could easily open his own successful business specializing in training wait staff. If I could give him 10 stars, I would not hesitate in doing so. Needless to say, David was well rewarded for his efforts today. Hey David, YOU ROCK! Keep on keeping on and you will receive the Top Notch Server of the Decade in the USA Award, if such an animal exists. Thank you so much! Martin P.

I came here with my sister after a doctor's appointment where I had to fast for a blood test- so I was pretty hungry! We were seated immediately, and our server was Jakiya. It was pretty busy, all the tables were full, but Jakiya was very attentive and super sweet! We were able to place our drink and food orders at once, so that is what we did. I ordered a Build Your Own Omelette with cheddar, spinach, and bacon. For my side, I did three pancakes and did the chocolate chocolate chip pancakes which had an upcharge. My sister got the Oreo Cookie Crumble waffle and a side of hashbrowns. Our food came out within 10 minutes and I had to wait a little longer for my pancakes, which was fine! The omelette was really good and had a lot of fillings. It was very filling. The pancakes were good as well. I wish I had gotten more whipped cream, but I am a whipped cream fiend so I think that is just my personal preference. The Oreo Cookie Crumble waffle was tasty, but the creamy cheesecake mousse on it had a weird flavor to it. It had a weird chemical/fake taste to it. For all of the food we got, the price was very reasonable. I actually was not able to finish all of my food because it was quite a lot. Overall, we had a really nice experience here and would definitely come back.

Second time we've been here in the last few weeks and I would highly recommend this place if you've never tried or if it's been a while..our waitress Oceania was great..vey helpful and very informative when helping us decide what to eat..I chose the steak omelet with oancakes as my side..so much food..I couldn't finish it all..my wife had the tre' leche pancakes..again. and loves them..everything was delicious and I would not hesitate to do this again..

Recently went to eat here after work about 1am with my cousin. The restaurant was packed so we were concerned about the wait time to get our food but we were greeted immediately and seated. 2 waiters, a waitress, and the manager all came by and spoke and proceeded to ask the normal questions about drinks and menus. Justin was our waiter. Even though he was slammed and serving about half the restaurant he took time to answer questions, get our order in quickly and continued checking on us while we waited for the food. It came out to the table much quicker than anticipated. The Philly Cheese Steak and onion rings were some of the most delicious and well prepared food I've ever had. Tiffany, the manager frequently spoke with us checking on our dining experience. These 2 employees were the best examples of restaurant employees ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and their hospitality. Ask for Justin as your waiter the next time you dine with IHOP. Even with the crowd it was one of the BEST dining experiences I've ever had. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND dining in if either of them are working.

The food was tasty. Service was a bit slower than would like, but the server did check on us to ensure all was well, which was nice. Their buttermilk biscuit is a newer item and was quite tasty. It was a light, warm and buttery flavor. 🧈 The place was nice and clean. The size was descent. The food options were satisfactory.

I have been to this location a few times, and this visit was similar, at least as far as initially getting service. My experience is that there is rarely a hostess to greet when I first arrive. I waited easily at least 5-7 min. before even getting recognized. Once I was finally greeted, the hostess went outside for "who knows why." Um, I am no stranger to customer service and customers should be taken care of - it was a very slow time. In any case, my server was magnificent. She was very attentive & professional. Also, ECU students get a discount. My meal was delicious, although I could taste the oil my hash browns were cooked in, which had a tad of a rancid taste. C'mon IHOP, greet your customers when they walk in the door and keep your oil fresh.

My family and I dined in at IHOP for the first time in a long while. Kyeisia was our server, and she was an absolute pleasure and made the dining experience that much more delightful. She had an amazing amount of patience with my children and that can make or break a mother’s ability to enjoy her meal. Speaking of the meal, the food was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend fruit on top of your pancakes! You can’t go wrong with any kind of toppings on your pancakes.

Breakfast as good as any other breakfast restaurant. Good, attentive server. Downside was the room temperature, which was well below the average person's comfort zone. For example I departed at 11AM. My friend and I stood outside in 50 degree temp and talked for 10 minutes, where it was more comfortable than inside the restaurant.

Went for the first time to this location. At first I thought it was a bit hokey because they had the fan at the hostess desk pointing outward. Then the waitress came over and was very polite. Food: my pancakes were not cooked all the way in the middle. They also came way after I received my food so after waiting over 45 mins for food, I didn’t have much to eat with the pancakes. Be careful because NONE of the food is presented the way it looks… not even close. Service: my waitress was good, but could really use some help. She would disappear and not return for about 10 mins, we would ask for things like napkins and they came back after 5 mins. No refills on drinks this entire long breakfast meal. Atmosphere: was very nice even the bathrooms were clean. To be honest this was the best part about this whole experience.

Honestly I gave a 4 solely because of the workers. Please start paying them more!! I've only ever been on Christmas day and both times there's been only 3-4 people working there. The people working are all amazing, and handle the shortage without breaking a sweat. They wouldn't have to go through that if IHOP offered better pay though.

I know this IHOP has been around a while but the building needs some serious love. Most the ceiling tiles are water stained and or moldy looking. The building is in need of an update. It’s not appetizing to eat while sitting under molded ceiling tiles and it was most the restaurant. The food was ok and the waitstaff was subpar. The host however was very sweet and accommodating.

I ordered and picked up my food. Nobody greeted me when I came in and I stood and waited over 5 minutes before the lady noticed me and brought me my food. When I got my food it was lukewarm but I warmed it up and the food was good. The place was empty as well.

Went 1/19/26 for lunch I use a cane and have difficulty walking. Hostess took us to farthest table from the door. They need to be more aware of people's needs. A cane and slow walking would indicate a need to sit at a closer table , which were available at the time. Next time, i'll just sit down where I need to. The restaurant is just a disaster, the ceiling has so many large areas that had what looked like water leaks and moldy spots. We were sitting right below some kind of vent that was filthy. I was afraid of a ceiling collapse. IHOP should be embarrassed to look like this, I honestly could not figure out how they can stay open. Our server was excellent, friendly and quick. The food was served quickly but while my husband was pleased with his omelette. I just had trouble because of the mold on the ceiling just made me little queasy.

Went early in the morning, only two other tables were taken. Only took about 20 minutes to get our food which was more than acceptable. The coffee was hot, fresh, and never had to ask for more. The waitress was amazing. We had a couple issues with the food. Definitely huge orders and very appreciated but when the food is bigger than the plate you should serve it on a larger plate. It made a mess when it was delivered (the pancakes). I got the biscuits and gravy as I always do, but this time they put my bacon on top of the biscuits and then the gravy on top of the bacon. I had to sit there and remove my bacon from underneath the gravy and scrape it all off with my fingers. So therefore the gravy made my bacon soggy. Not pleased about that. I had to ask for extra gravy because the gravy that was served was not only minuscule but cold and congealed. The fresh cup of gravy however was piping hot. BUT had zero flavor so I had to use a bunch of salt and pepper to make it edible. My son asked for sunny side up eggs however there were still raw white parts. The waitress was very accommodating. Without even having to ask questions, she could see that the eggs were undercooked and had them remade. The new ones came out in about 4 minutes and we're perfect.

Went there late 1:30ish am to order take out. As I stood there 5-10 mins waiting the waitress asked was I dining in? I replied ordering to go. After my reply she completely ignored me and walked off continuing to serve dine in customers. I waited for a good 15-20 more mins and got no service or an answer so I just left. Love the food but their late night staff was horrendous and had me wait for nothing. Went and got Waffle House instead.

Super busy and unorganized today. We were seated and no one spoke to us for over 10 mins not even for drinks. That took another 5 mins. The GM took our drink and food orders and quickly got drinks out. They are so short staffed that the GM cooked our food.

Went there to eat breakfast the server was seating us back by the bathroom where my fiancé wanted to sit in the sun by window. I asked the server if we could sit at the booth table that had the sun. I was having breakfast with my mom and she told the wait staff it was my birthday and one of female staff just walked away and said no. She had a very nasty and rude attitude. It made me never want to go back to this location again.

In short my family never received any service. Our assigned waitress outright ignored my family while without hesitation provided seating and service to others that walked in long after we were seated. In longer explanation: On October 15th 2023 while in town for business my family and I visited this location for an early Sunday morning breakfast. This was not a busy Sunday as there were only three to four other couples sitting at other tables, with 90 percent of the other tables being empty. As my family and I looked over the menus, I noticed our waitress which provided our menus looked our way, but constantly found other things to do other than ask us if we even wanted something to drink. This within itself is bothersome but not an overwhelming issue, but it is when other customers showed up, she sat them and started taking their order immediately.This was done without even acknowledging my family and our table that she sat minutes prior. After 10 minutes, I gave her the benefit of doubt, but after 15 minutes and another seating of another customer this was the last straw. I can only speculate as to why she was very willing to serve others, but ignore my family outright. Looking at the others she chose to serve immediately, I have a pretty good idea of why she determined my family should be treated differently. I was told later by a colleague that this location is notorious for this type of behavior. I kindly asked to speak to the manager and made him aware of the situation politely and matter of fact. My family and I left this IHOP, went to a Denny's that was about two mile away and had a wonderful breakfast. And as we always do, we tipped the waitress very well for her service and friendly smile. The next time I am in town I will not visit this IHOP. I will also advise business associates to stay clear of this location as well.

Prefacing this by saying I’ve never wrote a review before, but this needs to come to someone’s attention. Do not go at night. They advertise they’re open 24/7 but they will refuse service during late hours. Me and 5 friends went to this Ihop Oct 13th at around 3am. We waited an hour and a half for a server. No one came up to us once. There were only three other tables sitting who also said they had bad service. We asked a server who walked by if she could grab us drinks and she rudely said she wasn’t our server. I’ve never experienced so many rude workers before. The host had a nasty attitude, the server we talked to did as well, and cooks in the back arguing. Me and my friends all work in the service industry so we’re very considerate and tip well. We just left hungry. Please hire nicer people who want to work!

This place is horrible, terrible service, waited over 1hr, tables not clean and sticky. Told them to just give me my ticket to pay for the drinks. They attempted to make me pay for 68$ for food I never got LOL WHAT A JOKE ! As a store manager in retail this is by far not how you treat a customer.

Went in around 9:45 pm. There was only 2 tables seated. We waited about 15 minutes to be acknowledged. We ordered 3 sweet teas to drink, tea was clouded and spoiled so we changed to waters and 1 coffee, took a while to get the waters and about 45 minutes for coffee. Our food didn't come out until almost midnight and it was cold.

I as well of a few of my family members (11 of us total, including 2 infants) entered the establishment in which it took us a little while to be greeted. A guy proceeded to ask how many of us was it and took us to the far right corner. We then sat there for approximately 7 minutes or so before we spoke up about if there was anyone going to serve us. The young lady that was serving the table next to us said she was off and went to ask 2 other male servers sitting down doing absolutely nothing if they would which apparently they weren't because they started pointing at other people to do it. She came back and proceeded to say something about PM shift and no one being available. My family and I got up and left. This encounter was very unprofessional, poor and I will not be returning to this location. Not to mention, the atmosphere is dry and dead. Almost depressing. To be seated knowing we will not be served is really nonsense. Horrible!

With IHOP being one of the very few open during Christmas, you would think management would have things planned and sorted out to compensate for the influx of online and dine-in customers. Welp, they did not. Since there were only two cooks and online-orders take top priority, it took them 30+ minutes to get my food. A little while after getting my food, I left my coat on the table and went to the bathroom. My food that I waited so long for was thrown away! The guy and my server were super apologetic and I think it was a genuine mistake, which makes sense since a lot of them seemed overworked. I got my food remade but still had to wait a good while again for my pancakes. I had to wait twice for food, which, understanding the confusion, wouldn’t have been a problem for me if there was enough people to handle the restaurant. I blame no one other than the poor planning of management. Either make sure you have enough people that can handle both online and dine-in orders in an appropriate manner or don’t open on Christmas. Edit: I ended up getting it as to-go since I waited too long. My cinnamon-stack pancakes didn’t even come complete. Now I’m just disappointed.

Horrible service. Me and my husband and went to eat this morning and the waitress was terrible she might have had a smile on her face but it doesn't take the fact that she talked to us like we were supposed to know the menu. I asked about a different option and her face expression was all annoyed also she didn't pay attention while I was ordering and asked the same thing that I had just said also asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and she forgot the cheese. I asked about a drink on the menu that looked like coffee but it wasn't so I asked for coffee and again she made a nasty face like I couldn't ask about the menu we also asked for water and didn't brought them out till we asked again and mind you she never came by to check on us or the food so we didn't got our water till we were about to leave. She brought our check without asking if we were ready. I've been a waitress for the last 5 years and I dare to says that she could use some more training not everything is about smiling. Her name was Tiera B if I'm not wrong.

My daughter, Grand kids and I went to grab a bite to eat. I'm pregnant and hungry. We sat... more than 30 minutes went by and nobody came to even take our drink order. Mind you, there were only 4 customers in there other than us. And they all had already been served. Nobody even came by our table. Nor was a server even introduced to us. We just got up and left. This location has a ridiculous reputation of always giving bad service. We were there once snd 2 employees were cussing each other out. Arguing so loud all the restaurant heard. It's ridiculous. People pay their money and deserve good serve to enjoy. No customers. No jobs. No more restaurant

Ordered online delivery, beef tacos with fresh fruit on the side and an Oreo shake all for a below decent price. When I got my order it was just slimy scrambled eggs, no beef or toppings or tacos, no side of fruit, and my shake was basically a cup of ice cream with Oreos all at the bottom. If I knew the quality would have been this bad I would've went to the store and made my food myself.

Absolutely disgusting. Waited an hour for food just to have some avocado "bread" not even toasted with 3 tiny rotten avocado pieces, absolutely no tomatos, and half the order including a milkshake missing. Then the manager wouldnt even answer the phone. Pathetic, will never ever eat again. Disgusting.

Ordered the French toast breakfast family package and did not receive the French toast. Called and was given the excuse that “we are really busy this morning” and no resolution given. We were told we would have to go pick it up. I live 20 minutes away. It was delivered and not uber eats fault. The person said it should have been in the same bag. It was not as all bags were sealed. This is not a solution. I won’t order from ihop again if this is how my 50$ is spent to receive this kind of customer care.

Building was cold but so was the food, my whole table order was wrong and food was hard. Maybe it was a bad day but we will not be returning!

Worst staff ever in any resteraunt. They can care less about you and your food. You'll get it when you get it and if you don't like it, leave.

I don’t see why this store isn’t shut down yet. I don’t know who that rude lady is that’s working there but she needs a change of attitude or just be fired

I know the food is good but the service here is TRASH! My party was seated pretty quickly but then IGNORED for 30 minutes. No one said a word to us. We ended up just leaving. Very disappointing

This ihop was very nasty. There was only a family of three that were seated in the restaurant, so they were pretty slow. The table they sat us at was dirty and the floor was nasty. Had to ask the waitress to wipe the table and the seat. I added a picture of how they left the floor and continued to walk by it and not clean it up. We ended up just paying for our drinks and going somewhere else.

The good reviews on here must be a mistake and were intended for the IHOP in Greenville, South Carolina. THE BUILDING: This building needs to be condemned. The ceiling is falling down and is moldy. The floor is coming apart at the seams and is bubbled up from moisture underneath. There are huge splotches of mystery food all over the walls, ceiling, and windows. The HVAC system is broken and judging by the state of the temporary system plugged into the ceilings, it likely has been for a long time. THE SERVICE: The only thing worse than the state of the building was the service we had. I won't call out the waitress by name, but I will say that she was the most rude and unattending server I have ever experienced, and I've been to a LOT of crappy restaurants. She took forever to even acknowledge us, took forever to get our drinks, never asked how we were doing or if we needed refills, told us we COULD NOT TAKE OUR OWN PANCAKES TO GO and then tried to take our plates and rush us out before we were done eating. We had to ask another server for everything including silverware, creamer for coffee, and to-go boxes, because she just didn't bring anything we asked for. AWFUL! THE FOOD: The pancakes were ok and the decaf coffee was decent, but the steak and eggs I got were horrendous. The T-Bone was gray and tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. The eggs were scrambled with cheese and tasted like someone mixed flower into powdered eggs. 3/10 food quality. See pictures for proof of the state of the building. Anyone that says this place is clean is legally blind. Never again.

Waited 20 mins to get seated. Finally got seated and no one approached us for 20 mins. Asked the hostess and waited another 10 min and nobody came to even take our drink order. Ended up just leaving.

Came here for a late breakfast with my family, had the worst experience here. We ordered drinks and food at the same time, we didn’t get our drinks until over 30 minutes later but got (some) of our food at 30ish minutes. We also didn’t get any silverware to eat with until after everything came which we waiting almost an hour for. So sad because I love Ihop and was excited to go again since i haven’t been in years. Will definitely not be coming back. And they didn’t give my dad his sides that we had already re asked for, and also charged us for two drinks they didnt give us (they gave us water instead). And there was a chunk of food in my glass of water (which I didn’t realize until after drinking half of it 😓)

I wouldn't ever go back....rude wait staff,well depends on your color of skin.....what I ordered tasted old,cool to the touch and the pancakes were soggy...better get a loan to eat very pricey

Want never eat here again it happened wen we had the ice and snow we go in they set us then we noticed after we ordered they had no heat it was freezing in there and no one included the Manger an apology or some type of discount nothing bull crap run establishment

I wish I could rate this place -100, don't you dare doordash from here, your order will be wrong. But what got me is the fact that they used hefty containers to deliver my food and then tried to serve me an omelet that was practically 2 scrambled egg whites for 16$... Are you not embarrassed???? Because I am for ordering this garbage! I'd rather drive to goldsboro vs eat at this establishment. It's been bad for years since owners changed, but honestly, you're better off eating dog food on a fancy plate. This place and the cooks SUCK!!!! who approved this? This is your standard? Pitiful!!!

Worst meal I’ve had from ihop! We got seated and ordered our drinks and I got my coffee and we asked 3 times for husbands tea, I had to get up and get silverware so that I can fix my coffee, service wasn’t good and I ordered a omelette and it was a roll of eggs with toppings on top,

I decided to take my family out to my favorite place on my day offf , what a disappointment! We had to wave down a server to be seated although the restaurant only had 4 tables being occupied, one of the four tables were occupied with worker talking loudly about what had happened before work. The host came over to us seated us and hurriedly rushed back over to her coworkers to finish the conversation. After waiting for ten minutes we kindly got up and left the restaurant

Came in and was sat immediately and ordered drinks and my food as soon as we sat b/c we knew what we wanted. Well we got our drinks no problem but waited over an hour for our food. Manager was no understanding and plain out rude. If they would have told us before seating it was a hour wait we would have left. Horrible experience especially with it being that we were down visiting our daughter who is going to ECU and that was our quick breakfast before we got on the road to go back home on our 3 hour drive

My daughter ordered steak and eggs over easy, hash browns and pancake. I ordered eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon, English muffin. We received our food and her eggs and my eggs we hard like a hard boiled egg would be . The waitress was nice and went to get us each more eggs done properly. We received eggs that were raw egg whites. They looked ok at first and my daughter put her on her hash browns only to find completely raw runny uncooked egg white . Mine were not as bad but bad. The waitress spoke to the manager and he came to our table and could clearly see the hard eggs and the uncooked egg whites. He discounted our meal 3 dollars and 44 cents. Terrible!!!! We couldn’t even eat most of the meal and it was 34 dollars!!! Never again for us !! That manager has no business running a business!

The waiter was very attentive and outgoing. Took no time to get out or food. When we got our food it was -1/10. My grits were flavorless, the hash browns were soggy, the omelette was overfilled with onions and the mushrooms tasted old. I will not be back to this location. Not to mention the sanitation rating is 92. I couldn’t finish the plate.
