Breakfast croissants, coffee and a cookie -- It's like my day is made. The egg, cheese, meat croissants are ridiculously delicious. When I'm feeling generous, I bring some treats in for the co-workers. This is a hometown treasure. I call ahead and am immediately recognised for my order.

Prices are fair for the quality of the food, and boy is it quality food. I would get breakfast sandwiches from here every morning if I could. And while I've only tried a couple of the cookies, turnovers, and scones from their selection of baked goods, they have all been phenomenal.

Tucked off the main road in Groton, NY (Cayuga County) just a short drive from Cortland and Homer, is this super warm and friendly bakery and cafe. At Bun Appetit you can get almost any flavor of coffee added to the many different brew types they always have ready to serve. Dining indoors in one of the three eating areas will provide you with interesting decor and local crafts and artisans available to purchase (quilts, clothes, and artwork/photography. Enjoy your drinks or food on the comfortable covered patio and enjoy a scenic view of the hills surrounding the village. The Senaca Lake brew was the perfect pairing to a freshly baked cookie, while other patrons enjoyed breakfast sandwiches. They open insanely early at 6AM and close at 6PM most days so you should be able to grab something earlier or call-in your order for pickup. A definite return visit is in the near future!

I asked if they'd give me a free coffee if I bought the travel mug and they did one better and threw the muffin with the coffee! Also had pumpkin bread with chocolate chips not raisins, can't wait to try the brekkies!

The food is just delicious there! I ordered a cheeseburger on wheat bread and omg it was so good! Plus, the portion sizes of the desserts there?? Holy cow! I also bought a half moon cookie and a peanut butter cookie for my hubby and we were just amazed at how huge they were! Soup is also very good and the homemade bread. :)

This place literally goes "big" with their cookies. I bought my wife a cinnamon roll with icing. Best 4.00 I've ever spent and well worth it for the size. They have menus on the chalk board. Nice little store. Check it out if you chance. You wont be disappointed with their prices or good

They have always made great quiche! This morning it looked like egg pie with a few pieces of tomato and basil floating on the top. Very little cheese. I look forward to going in again where there is actually more tomatos and cheese in it. I love this place so I think this may have been a mistake.

Treated poorly with sarcasm. My food was made incorrectly while I was mid order I received a uh huh! When placing my order I received a that's what I'm here for! Maybe you should think before you use snark n sarcasm. Then you wouldn't be losing a customer who goes there 2-3 times a week.

Any business that gets upset, because you wear a mask, should be closed. I had a allergic reaction to my first vaccine and can not get fully vaccinated.

This place might actually be nice if they didnt serve stale, old , over-priced bakery goods. I've been there 2 TIMES and the food there was stale and sooooo expensive. I bit into the pastry and it was disgusting and tasted like cardboard. Then 2 weeks later i bought 2 plain bagels to take home and they charged me 4 dollars. I asked when they were made and they were not fresh. I took them home and they also tasted old and dry. I will not be giving them a 3rd chance. After seeing good reviews I was very excited to try the place but I am very dissapointed.
