We chose this place because they allo pets in their patio. So it's pet friendly! Unfortunately it was kind of cold when we went there. Anyway the food is great depending on what you order. The staff are very nice too!

Any one star reviews are there only because the reviewer was a hater. 1 I'm from grover city, I've eaten all over California. I love real people. I love great businesses, places That treat you right as a customer but most of all as a friend. Places I can take my son. And also go by myself so I can party... Prices that are reachable for food that is delicious and portioned right. And I always eat at a restaurant twice before my personal review. I put this restraunt in the top 5 in the county of san luis obispo. It's hard to find great places like this. Try um out. And don't be a hater.. we don't need you in grover city if you are and google search Justin David Myers.. I almost forgot... thanks you

I love station grill every time I come by! Their food is absolutely amazing, and the owners of this restaurant are just amazing people! They make you feel at home, and you can tell that the food was cooked with professionalism and time, not just half thrown together. I had the club sandwich on the menu and it was absolutely fantastic, and the French fries they serve with their food is perfectly seasoned! If you are visiting Grove Beach be sure to stop by here for great food and service!!

I went here for breakfast. Absolutely amazing. First, the trains if you like them you'd love the ambience. This place contained some history and as the name suggests. I would've spent longer learning more if I'd had more time. The food is amazing. It was fresh and delicious. I had the Sprouts Wrap wow! Stunningly fresh and delicious. I also had a cinnamon roll, warm and the right amount of sweet awesome. if you are around Pismo Beach or here for an ATV ride a must go place for breakfast.

I came to use the bathroom and a cup of coffee . My little Dog ( Cheeka ) and I were treated so well , I ordered a Mushroom Bacon Burger . Very good 👍 . Cheeka and I have been bicycling from Bellingham , Washington . I didn’t realize how dirty my clothes were at the time ; however I was not treated on my appearance , more a a person . The next morning I returned for more coffee and a Breakfast Burrito . Super Nice fellow , and good food and Service !

Grover Station Grill is just that, a great little eatery right across the tracks from the Grover Beach train station. Stop by to say hello to "Z" the owner of GSG. Good drinks for your thirst and good eats for your hunger. Enjoy your meal as the trains pass by.

We had a great experience. The food was delicious and live music was uplifting and family friendly. The service was great as well. We accidentally forgot a phone at our table and they were kind enough to offer to meet us halfway from their location. That didn’t work for us and they mailed it to us instead. 10/10 recommend dining here, we definitely will be!

The husband and wife team are exceptional. Food was good and the service is superb. Parking is plentiful behind the restaurant. A+++ recommended.

Get the breakfast burrito with chorizo. It's huge, cheap, and good. I live 2060 miles away as the crow flies, but if I could figure out a way to eat here every morning, I would.

I popped in to grab a drink while waiting for my train and even though I was there just 30 minutes before closing time, I was assured that the kitchen was still open and that I was welcome to order anything on the menu. Z made me one heck of a Bloody Mary (which usually comes with bacon - just an FYI for the vegetarians out there). The atmosphere of this little grill is fantastic: fun, warm, and very friendly. It was the perfect place to spend my last minutes before leaving Grover Beach and it'll be the first place that I go to the next time that I'm in town.

Authentic American breakfast Really good breakfast, I would recommend the station special or the mushroom omelet. They have 10 different teas which I really like. The service is very friendly and the kitchen is fast. But no pancakes sadly.

I've been going to the Grover Station Grill for a couple years now. Mostly because I like the owner, staff, and patrons. I would have generally called the food "Ok American diner food." Today I went in and had their Classic Smash Burger. Just wow. I have been looking for a good burger in the area and not sure why I never ordered their burger before. Perfectly balanced flavors. Good portion, done properly. I think I now have my go-to burger joint in the south county.

UPDATE: Thank you for the owner reply. This review was 6 yrs ago so I'm sure many things have changed. I have gone back and I do love the staff and... the muffin was indeed yummy, lol. Upgrading my rating :) The good - Coffee. Is was really very food for a small diner. Fresh and something worth drinking a 2nd cup of. Although I have to ding them in this day and age for the half and half being in tiny cups. Flavors yes, but plain, as busy as it was could easily have been in a pourable. The bad - My friend ordered the California omelet on special with avocado (the salsa was added by her). And just. No. Either charge an extra dollar or 2 to make it look less sad or pick a different special. It was so tiny and the avocado slices were slivers. I had the oatmeal. It was good. It was $4 & came with raisins. Our whole breakfast was just over $21. For just over $23 I think they could have kicked it up a notch and got me to come back. I'd probably meet someone for coffee and a muffin. Those looked good.

Beautiful place inside. Have to order at the counter and seat yourself which is fine. Prices for quality of food , terrible. Not sure why a cup of OJ costs $5?! Hair in my food. Just said sorry then later gave me a refund. Thx. Overall bad experience or not the food quality is too poor for how much they charge ! $20 a person. SMH portion size is terrible

I'm not sure how you can fubar a breakfast burrito, but Grover Station Grill is the place to do it. Called in order for pick up as their website is broken. Pic is of the burrito they served us with (the owner was on the grill). It was a carry out, we discovered the poor quality once on the beach to eat. The inside was cold, dry, and tasted of freezer burn. It quickly went to the trash and we went up to Orcutt Burger for the quality and value. I'm astonished that they served food like this!

Honestly, the lady was nice but the food just tasted odd. It had an iron/metal taste. Maybe they need to clean their grills. Anyways, wouldn’t come back because I wanted the food. Sad days 😔

I would give the service a 10, very friendly. As for the food, not so good bacon, and eggs were both saturated in oil. This was my second experience with same less then desired meal.

Honestly, the lady was nice but the food just tasted odd. It had an iron/metal taste. Maybe they need to clean their grills. Anyways, wouldn’t come back because I wanted the food. Sad days 😔
