Ce que disent les clients de Pappasito's
Pappasito's Gulf Freeway is a Tex-Mex standard with consistently delicious food and attentive service. Fajitas are a must-try, and the chips and salsa are always fresh. Some find it loud and the bar service slow when busy.

My chicken fajitas were so juicy and delicious! My tortillas were so tasty as always homemade! The manager was so kind and helped with an issue. The waitress was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed! A+ guys!
This was a great afternoon late lunch. The Drinks were good, but the food was top notch. Haven’t been to this location in years, still great. I was happy to take my person there for her first time.
This was a spur of the moment decision to eat at this place. Definitely glad we stopped in. Have no complaint on anything we had. Everything was really good portions and fresh tortillas. You can't beat that, and our server Brian was amazing.
We had the absolute BEST experience at Pappasito’s in Webster this last Saturday evening! We showed up with a party of 11 for a birthday celebration, not realizing reservations weren’t an option and fully expecting a long wait since we were about an hour early. We were told there were no large tables available all night due to other big parties, and our only option would have been splitting into two separate tables — which just didn’t feel right for a special celebration. We were standing there with decorations, gifts, and a cake, trying to figure out Plan B. That’s when Chris Reyes (Manager) stepped in and completely saved the night. He somehow worked his magic and created the perfect solution for us on the outdoor patio — one long table in a semi-private setting that still had the fun, lively Pappasito’s vibe. The weather was perfect, the setup was ideal, and it honestly turned into one of the best restaurant celebrations we’ve ever had. Our waiter, Jorge, along with the entire staff, was fabulous — attentive, kind, patient, and genuinely happy to help us celebrate. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt so well taken care of all evening. Every single person in our party wants to send their heartfelt thanks. Chris, Jorge, and the entire team truly went above and beyond for our family, and we are so grateful!
Pappa chains are always pretty great, this location was no exception. I'm a bit of a guacamole snob, this stuff was excellent. Salsa and chips they give you are pretty good too. I had the combo with the fajita meat taco and an enchilada and those were both excellent as well. Service was good, drinks were refilled without asking and our server was very polite. Restaurant was clean overall and absolutely worth a visit.
Great service and quality food. We love the chips and salsa. Server kept it coming until our food arrived with a smile, and some sent home with our to-go bag! Great 1st time experience from our guest from California, ended with the tres leches desert. Table was a little small for 4 adults (-1 star for atmosphere).
We had the most awesome lunch at Pappasito's in Webster. The food was excellent and the service top notch. Thank you to our server Antonio and Manager Jennifer for making our lunch extra special. You guys rock!!
The best Mexican food I have had! From the chips and salsa, it was great. We shared a beef fajita - the beef was tender and tasty. The tortillas were perfect! Our waiter was very attentive and professional. Definitely coming back! 🙂
Restaurant was full and load, but the fajitas were amazing. Our waitress was fantastic. We had a family fajitas for 6 adults. There was food left over to take home. My wife and I agree this is the best Fajitas in Houston. Can't speak for the rest of the menu yet. Restaurant was very well kept in my opinion. We sat in the middle of the dining area but there was really great panoramic window seating available.
Papasitos hold a special place in my heart. For a while I was dating 2 men who didn’t know about each other. All three of us loved Papasitos. I’d sit at the bar one night with boyfriend #1 and sometimes the very next night I’d be back sitting at the bar with boyfriend #2. This went on for 2 years. Through it all, the bartenders were absolute pros. Every time I’d sit down, a bartender would greet us, look right at me and say “welcome back” with a smile. Top notch service, complete discretion, and never once did they rat me out. I highly recommend dining here- the food is consistently delicious and the customer service is unparalleled! 5 stars!
Always a great atmosphere, great food, attentive service, and friendly staff. Kelton and Alec really took good care of us. What i thought was going to be just another dinner, turned out to be a wonderful experience. Will definitely recommend to anyone who hasnt been to the Pappasitos in Webster on the Gulf Freeway. 10/10
This restaurant not only has amazingly delicious food, but the service truly warms your heart. Our server, Andrea, was absolutely wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and even brightened our visit with a few laughs. If you come here, I can’t recommend Andrea enough, she’ll make your experience extra special.
This place has delicious food and wait staff is attentive. Only downside is that the bar gets backed up so it takes a little while to get drinks. Also they're tables are very small and it's difficult to get some elbow room on such small tables. The best part about this restaurant is the food, staff and one of the managers, Chris. They were extremely helpful and friendly. They made our visit that much more enjoyable.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review – Pappasito’s (Gulf Freeway) Pappasito’s on Gulf Freeway never disappoints! The staff here truly stands out — everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely customer-oriented. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and well taken care of. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are surprisingly great for the quality you get. Service is quick, smooth, and always delivered with a smile. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, a warm atmosphere, and a team that really knows how to treat their guests, this Pappasito’s location is the one. Highly recommended!
**Five‑Star Review – Stephen at Papasito’s (Webster, TX)** We dined at Papasito’s today (about 12:30 p.m.) and were lucky enough to be served by Stephen. From the moment we were seated, his warm smile and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for a truly memorable lunch—especially for my mom, who doesn’t get out much. • **Attentive “reading the table”** – Stephen seemed to know exactly what we needed before we asked. Fresh, warm tortillas kept arriving, and his timing was spot‑on. • **Drink perfection** – My mom is a stickler about never letting her glass run dry, and Stephen kept every drink topped off and at the right temperature. • **Personal care for Mom** – He took extra time to check on her comfort, refilled water, offered extra napkins, and even suggested a salsa she loved. She left feeling truly valued and delighted. • **Professional follow‑through** – I spoke with the manager during our visit to make sure Stephen’s outstanding service was recognized locally, and I’ll be reaching out to Papasito’s corporate team as well. **Bottom line:** Stephen turned an ordinary lunch into a highlight of our week. My mom left full, happy, and impressed by the level of hospitality she received. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Stephen by name. If you’re planning a visit to Papasito’s, do yourself a favor: **ask for Stephen**. You won’t be disappointed! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is a guaranteed five star experience! Hands down this is the best Tex-Mex on the planet! I think there are other good and even really good places to get similar dishes but, in the end, there's really no comparison in taste, quality and service! The way they pan sear the vegetables for the salsa creates a unique flavor that's bold and delicious with the perfect amount of heat. This trip I had The Coronado combo plate (one beef fajita taco al carbon, a cheese enchilada and rice and beans) along with the Chipotle shrimp. FABULOUS!!!! You can always choose your type of beans ...charro, black, refried or refried black. I promise you will agree with me on this one!!!!
Pappasito’s Cantina never disappoints! The food is flavorful, portions are generous, and the service is consistently top-notch. Their sizzling fajitas are a must-try — tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. The chips and fresh salsa come out fast and keep coming, and their margaritas are strong and refreshing. The atmosphere is lively and fun, perfect for a night out with friends or a casual family dinner. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Tex-Mex with great vibes
We celebrated Mother’s Day at Pappasito’s Mexican Restaurant and had a great experience. The atmosphere was lively and festive, perfect for a family gathering. The staff was friendly and attentive, even with the busy crowd. We enjoyed fresh chips and salsa to start, and the enchiladas and fish tacos were full of flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. We will be returning soon!
We came in for a late lunch/ early dinner on Sunday and the place was pretty busy. It was quite loud and kept getting louder. But it seems to go in stages in the afternoon and it did get (a little) quieter. We had appetizers. Hubby had hand made tamales (pork) and I had potato taquitos. So so so good. We shared a queso fundido, which was fantastic until we got our other appetizers which made it pale in comparison. Anne I was helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you Anne. And thanks out to the chefs. And thanks to all the servers who managed to move at the speed of light without crashing into each other. We will definitely come back to this pappasitos.

Had amazing Fajitas and wonderful night, excellent customer service care and attention. A little pricey in terms of the portions you get. Only thing that was a flop was a Coke Zero I ordered was very water downed and funky tasting. Wife’s margarita came very late towards the end of the meal. Def recommend, and will come back for sure.
We went for dinner on a Thursday evening around 6:30 pm. The place was not crowded and we were seated right away. Our server was prompt in bringing fresh chips and salsa while we perused the menu. We opted for the combo beef and chicken fajitas for our party of four. We also requested a mix of corn and flour tortillas. While the fajitas were very good, as it is something Pappasito’s is known for, I believe they are way overpriced for what you get. And, the price does not include shredded cheese nor sour cream, and only a tiny portion of guacamole and pico. Also, we had to wait a while for the corn tortillas, as one person in our party was not able to eat flour tortillas. This delay was quite long. The highlight of the meal was the Tres Leches cake, albeit a rather small portion for the $$$ price tag!
I had heard good things about Pappasito’s. So my wife and I decided to try this place out. Immediately when walking in I smelled a strange smell. The salsa was causing this smell and the taste of the salsa was the same as the smell. So, I can tell their house salsa has a very weird smell and taste. Not a typical red sauce/salsa. I had the Birria beef taco. I didn’t know I would have to make the taco when it arrived. The beef was very good, tasty, chunky, but very easy to cut. Ingredients for the taco were supplied, but the size of the tortilla were way too small to put it all together. My wife got the chicken taco meal and it came like I thought it would. It was two tacos made up by the chef. They were awesome. Service was okay. It took a very long time to get a Margarita that I ordered. The drink came just in time for the food. Overall the drink and food were prepared well, and tasted very good as well. The smell and taste of the salsa was not a good feel. If this is their typical flavor I will not be back. The smell did not go well with my nose and taste buds.

While the price still forces me to believe they're the best around , these days I'm starting to think my mind has been changed... The service was not bad, however it was not great. They had live music that was so loud we could hardly hear one another at our table..the waiter was able to rub off his errors by being cute and attentive, and of course corrected my bill. I always thought Pappasitos was the best Mexican food, seems things are starting to blend in with all the competition.. Very expensive for casual Mexican dining

I wish people would stay away from this restaurant. Tho is the worst food that I ever tasted. I did not eat the food because it was burnt and it was very salty. I notified the server and he did not do anything about it. That charged me for condiments I did not use it asked for . Then they just added a tip to my bill, not giving me any options . My bill was $174 and I have contacted the. For a refund and they have asked me to call and when I did the would hang up the line. Don’t eat that nasty food this place is too expensive and the quality is very poor. Stay away from this place. This is not tex mex food, very unflavored and tastelsss . We had to discard the rest off the food. Then they claim I had alcohol which I did not because I don’t drink alcohol or soda
Spent almost 400 dollars and if I’m being honest the food wasn’t very good. Service was fine, atmosphere was fine but I can’t justify the taste of the food for the price. Other texmex places are competitive in both price and flavor.
Review: Pappasito’s on Gulf Freeway – 12/11/25, 6:30 PM My family of four had one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had at any Pappasito’s location. We arrived at 6:30 PM and were seated promptly. Our server greeted us right away, brought our drinks (three teas and a water), and we ordered queso and chips, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time. After that, everything went downhill. We waited over 30 minutes without any update on our entrées. Meanwhile, we watched a table that was seated at least 10 minutes after us receive their food before we did. The restaurant was not busy, and there were no large parties, so it was clear something had gone wrong. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication. Our server didn’t check in for a long stretch, and although we saw a manager visit another table to apologize for their wait, he never approached us. We didn’t see him again until my husband walked over to the bar area—where several staff members were standing around—to ask whether our food had even been made. At that point, he told them that if the food was ready, we would take it to go, and if not, we wanted to cancel the order altogether. A few minutes later, the manager handed my husband a zeroed-out bill. No apology, no explanation, no acknowledgment that we had two hungry, frustrated children who had been waiting far too long. This was, by far, our worst visit to any Pappasito’s. With so many Tex-Mex options in Houston, it’s hard to imagine returning to this location after an experience like this.
Went to Pappasito's for a birthday dinner and ordered the chicken flautas and a strawberry margarita. I made it very clear when ordering that I couldn't have avocado because of an allergy. When the food came out, it had a mountain of avocado on top. I let the server know, and they asked, “Are you not going to eat it?” then offered to remake it. I said yes, even though I had already waited nearly an hour just to be seated. When they brought out the second plate, it was obvious it was the same food—just refried. The whole plate was super greasy, and the sour cream had started to curdle from sitting under a heat lamp (and notice how they tried to cover it up with a fresh dollop on top lol). It was honestly hard to eat. To top it off, the strawberry on my margarita was borderline rotten—soft and mushy like it was about to go bad. I’m really disappointed in how my allergy was handled. It didn’t feel like anyone took it seriously, and serving the same plate after an allergy complaint is not okay. Food quality and safety should be a priority, and it definitely wasn't. I could tell they were over me cuz they didn't even do a bday thing for me when I was there and we specifically said I was there for a bday celebration but never again!
