At least microwave the food before giving it to customers. Does the owner even look at these reviews? It’s the most common complaint. How is this place still open?

Stopped to grab a quick bite and get back on road, had to repeat order 3 times because they were getting it wrong, waited almost 20 mins in line to get food, fries were not cooked all the way. Chicken tenders were extremely small.

Just left drive thru for a banana split. Asked for no chocolate. $4.99+tax= rotten banana, few pineapple and strawberries topping, minimum ice cream, no spoon 🤦🏻‍♀️. Never again will I stop here. Next time I’ma wait for Yoakum DQ. Thankfully I didn’t order a meal. I Don’t not recommend.

Last week we went to Hallettsville Dairy Queen and asked for two $7 meal deals. The man waiting on us said the manager told him no more $7 deals. I pointed at the sign out front which said $7 meal deals. I was told they hadn’t had time to change the sign. Today we stopped at the same Hallettsville Dairy Queen and asked for 2 free cones. (Which is advertised on the sign out front) . We were told we had to purchase something to get a free cone. We walked out. Will never go back.

Who serves steak fingers with ranch,, what happened to the gravy!!! Fries tasted old or like they weren’t even cooked all the way… definitely gotta do better

UPDATE 05/30/2024 Ten months ago I entered a review. We thought we'd try DQ again, hoping things had changed. OMG, this place HAS gotten worse. The food tasted like warmed up left-overs. The soda fountain was still void of Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, and Coke products. The place was filthy, and the flies were horrendous. To answer my previous question "could this place get any worse?" YES. IT DID. This abomination of a DQ is a stain on the DQ name. And don't even ask Sarah for anything. The attitude was unbelievable. And, true to form, the manager is still unavailable when you ask to speak to them. I'll never waste a penny in this trash pit again. Obviously the owners, and DQ Texas for that matter, could care less about a once fine establishment. ****************************************************** Original review from 10 months ago ****************************************************** Could this place get any worse? We have been eating here for years, but in the last year, there has been a steady decline. Today was the culmination of that decline. The floors were absolutely filthy. The floors looked as if they haven't been mopped or cleaned in a month. When you walked across the dining area, your feet stuck to the floor. The tables were horrible. Stuck on food on many of them. And some of the benches for the booths felt like they were coated in glue they were so sticky. The soda machine, again, was out of Dr Pepper and several other drinks, and the tea dispensers were once again, EMPTY!! After finally finding a clean table, it took over 25 minutes to get food. We were getting up to ask for our money back when our food finally arrived. My sons burger was cold and soggy, as were the fries. My Jalitos Ranch burger was cold, soggy ( the bun fell apart when I picked it up) and drowning in sauce. The fries, alas, were cold and nasty as well. At this point, we were done. We'll not be returning. DQ in Hallettsville has finally hit rock bottom. We miss the old days when this was a great place to eat, Hopefully, the owners will read this and get this placed cleaned up.

My Tripple Hunger Buster sucks and its dryer than the sands on a desert because the person who made it got the order wrong I ordered lettuce, tomato, pickles, bacon, and cheese in my burger but all I got was 3 burger patties with bacon and nothing else.

The food and the icecream had the sane temperature, the meat was completely cold and the bread too. Coca taste like sugar with water, not recommended if you’re hungry for a real good tasty warm fast meal.

This is the worst dairy queen I have ever been to. They are always closing early like this past Saturday the family and I decided we were going to get some blizzards after dinner. It was only 7 pm and the lights were off, but the staff was inside and laughing at us when we went to the drive thru unaware they were closed. Then a few days later I was driving by around 8pm on a Monday and they were closed again. When they are open the service is ok at best but don't think about using the restroom in that place.

If you are looking for quick service or fast food. This is not the place to go. Now, if you aren't in any kind of hurry. It may be your place. If they don’t run you off from the dinning area during business hours. As you are trying to come into the building. Which is what happened the last time our family tried to eat here. The manager’s daughter said. “I am trying to close the dining area. You are welcome to go through the drive through.” I have work here in the past for over 4 years. I can honestly say. This place is not ran well at all. Most of the time the workers are in no hurry to provide quality service. It’s rare to find good help around here. Good luck, if you decide to give it a try.

This once was a great DQ. Lost manager, Lindsay, and it's not been the same..I ordered Tacos, tasted like plain hamburger meat and was maybe a teaspoon of ingredients per taco. Terrible!

I waited twenty minutes for my food. People who ordered after me got their food first. All I ordered was 2 burgers, fries and an order was nachos. When I finally got my food, the burgers were ice cold and the patties were hard and cold, cheese not melted at all. My husband wouldn't even eat his food, because as he was sitting in our vehicle waiting for our food, one of the employees was standing at the counter with her hands in her mouth chewing her nails. We ended up.just throwing the food away. Terrible service.
