Buckley's Burgers & Steaks

We were sad to hear that CR's closed, but we were excited for something new in its place. I finally snagged a reservation at Buckley's - they have been hard to come by since the restaurant opened in January. The staff is friendly, and our server, Nolan, had great suggestions and didn't rush us to order. I started off the night with an amazing Spicy Pineapple Marg - I highly recommend it. As for the food menu, they had so many good choices from burgers, steaks, and other entree options if you don't prefer beef. We wanted to try a bit of everything, so we split the Sugar Cured NY Strip & Petite Pepper Filet. The meat was divine and cooked perfectly. I absolutely loved the hollandaise sauce, and the red wine demi glace that came with the filet was perfection. The main reason I wanted to visit was for the White Chocolate Creme Brûlée, which, while good, didn't beat my love for the steaks. My only complaint - the back area seating room, while comfortable, felt disconnected compared to the main area with booths - it felt more like a 99. I hope it is updated over time. Overall, though, we had a great first visit.

Hubby and I visited Valentine’s night. I had the Seseme Salmon with the zucchini Noodles; peanut sauce. Cooked exactly how I requested. Hubby got the Beef Stroganoff. He asked to have it as prepared - but with added mashed potatoes put in the middle. Our server was AWESOME!! She made sure he knew it was prepared with noodles…. But put the order in as he requested. It came out perfect. He scraped his plate.🤘😜 Both of our meals were served HOT.✔️ The Caesar salads were perfectly dressed, cold and our meals came in perfect timing; not too soon. We had the right amount of breathing time. We really enjoyed our evening. Never rushed and so relaxing. The ambience is lovely. Very warm.😌 We highly recommend this restaurant.

Firstly, the ambiance was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and efficient. However we were very disappointed in our food; slow delivery and the cook. I recognize the kitchen may be still working out the kinks given they only recently opened so that may explain how long it took to receive our appetizers and then our entrees. But the cook on our food was very disappointing. We order the onion rings for an appetizer. My party seem to enjoy but the breading was too thick for my taste; Overwhelmed the onion. We ordered steak tips which were overcooked (not done to our preference). The truffled rice was undercooked; the grains were hard and stuck to my teeth. The creamed corn was also undercooked with hard kernels. The twin steaks were good as well as the mashed potatoes. Lisa was our server and she was wonderful, very personable. Disappointed there is no Happy Hour. Lastly, our special celebration (birthday as noted on our reservation in Open Table) was not acknowledged nor was any complimentary desert offered.

Just OK I like the atmosphere when it was CRS much better. The menu is limited to beef entrées only one nonalcoholic beer offered. No mocktails. The steak tips only come one way medium well. This is a beef house kind of boring overall. It reminded me of the 99 but 99 has more variety on their menu. I would not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointing.
