Today as we transited the drive through, we thought it would be cool to pay for the meal of the guy behind us. The manager came to the window to ensure our intent. When we picked up our food, we found an extra sandwich! We thought for a moment our order was mixed, but as the guy behind us drove around us, he thanked us for his meal. We realized that the manager had rewarded us for our bit of charity. How cool!

I just want to shout out the night crew that worked last night. Even though I pulled up around 11:40, the girl at the register was still super nice. Not only did she double check my order, she also didn’t have an attitude about changing my order at the window or taking my app code last minute. The other girl who handed me my sundae, had a nice smiling face. While I did have to wait a lil while, it was worth it. My sandwich was hot and fresh and my fries were too! More importantly, the ice cream machine wasn’t down even though they were about to close. I don’t know the names of the crew members that worked tonight but I do know they definitely need a raise 🙌🏾

Today I had a great experience at this restaurant, considering that both drive-thrus were packed. There wasn’t that long of a wait, the delicious McRib is back! And it was delicious, along with the spicy chicken sandwich large fries, and large Coke that I got. Everything seemed fresh and not old and nasty.

Ok so… it’s McDonald’s so don’t take the food review too seriously. I come here for my kids not me. The place is very clean every time we come. The woman behind the counter was great. But it’s the only one near us that has a play place and that’s a hugeeeeee plus!!

There was an app error in which my order although the location said for this store, sent my order to another location. The manager at location (wish I had got her name, she was phenomenal) recognized the app order error, had the order canceled at incorrect location, and made my order here at this store. She went above and beyond when it was not her fault at all. I really appreciated that and I just want her to get her flowers. Managers like that make a real difference and should be recognized. The order was completed today just a few minutes ago, please give her another promotion!

Im pretty sure the workers know me from how much I come here, but I love McDonald's, I always have. Their food is so good when you're a broke college student. All the workers here are nice, young teenagers n all. I do feel bad for sometimes, because in big rushes there aren't alot of employees there. And there have been times where I've walked in and the manager/higher up is yelling at these kids. That shouldn't be happening in a work place at ALL. But I'm thankful that the workers here always bring my food to me with a smile, even if the workplace is hostile sometimes. They deserve the 5 stars. 😊💗

Today, the guy with the colored hair, at the front, inside the restaurant, was the best. Awesome customer service. This location is way better than all the surrounding McDonalds around the Killeen/Harker Heights area.

It's McDonalds, not much else to say. They have the same menu that's available in the United States. The prices are on par with the current economy we are in at the moment. We usually get all of our items when we go through the drive-thru. If we don't, we can go inside and get the item pretty quickly. The app is a waste of time if you are hoping that it will speed-up your waiting time. The taste of the burgers are consistent with other McDonlads.

Good McDonald's to just chill at, nice and cool, wifi, etc. I do wish it had drink machines, and I feel it was a bit stingy of the owners to get rid of them, but I understand (a little bit 🤏, lol). The teens that work there are pretty friendly, a few of them are loud and a little weird, but they're teens haha. Good food, and they apologize and make sure to get your order right.

We stopped here after a long day of shopping. We waited a little longer than we'd have liked to but WE GOT FRESH FRIES! It was worth the wait. The employees were smiling and friendly and moving fast to bring food to everyone.

Brand new. Inside they have ordering screens that do not let you really customize your order like you would if you were talking to someone. It's really nice and updated much cleaner than I've seen other McDonalds. The drive-thru is still slow just like other locations that you visit. Overall nice. The play place for the children is much bigger and if you eat inside you're not going to necessarily be bothered by screaming kids if you didn't bring any yourself.

My husband went inside to order. We've ordered at least 7 times in 1 1/2 weeks. Our grandkids are here. 3 times we have tried to order small chocolate shakes only to be told machine is broken. He went to 3 more area locations and they have no shakes. What is going on?!

Fries were fresh! Trying to order at the drive through was like trying go draw blood from a stone. Order was mostly correct and had we have gone by the script by the girl was taking the order we wouldn't have had any meals or options of. The second girl & final kid (young black man) were both extremely polite & really improved the experience. Next time I'd go further into town for a more pleasant experience. Those taking the order set the tone for rest of the experience

My main issue is that the drive thru menu is damaged in such a way that you should put a trypophobia warning on this location to save us the trauma. Kinda lost my appetite 🤷‍♀️. Other than that, the second star I removed is because we're almost always missing something from the order. Ordered it, paid for it, didn't receive it. Food's good though I guess.

Depending on when you go you'll get a really good meal. There are a few really awesome people here that will make you smile. But never go in the last hour before they close the line is always INSANELY long and they always get my order wrong and never fresh. And I've waited over an hour stuck in that line 🫨 also I cannot get over the fact the menu is still broken and I don't think they are going to fix that ever. I think it's been over 2 years now and they also never have ice cream 😞 so sad!

The food and the service were good and exactly what you’d expect. What wasn’t good was the level of cleanliness. I’m talking all the way from the chewed gum and stains all over the sidewalks, the filthy rug at the entrance and the tables that looked like they were cleaned with little to no effort. I almost forgot to mention the sticky floor all along the drink area. Not cool.

Every time I come here y’all always mess up my order. I get tired of constantly having to drive there to get my order fixed. I’m done. I order Mcrispy meal with no pickles like always. Why is there some kind of spicy sauce on my damn food. It’s a simple order and y’all always seem to mess it up. Do better!

I really don't buy here. Its just that my wife likes their chicken nuggets and fries. But the last 2 purchases through drive through, was bad. Both nuggets and fries was stale. That to include, she requested some honey mustard sauce and never gotten any. So, my wife decided to stop buying at mcdonalds.

Went just for a happy meal and $5 mc double meal. There was hardly any fries in the fry box with the happy meal, asked for no pickles on my burger and they made it ketchup only. Also no bbq sauce for the nuggets. It didn’t seem like anyone was supervising what was going on and everyone was just doing their own thing.

Went on 1/13 at 7:02am. Was asked to pull to far drive thru window near the end of the building by 7:06am. Spent 15 minutes in that location waiting for my order before being given a single hash brown which wasn’t even what I ordered. That was absolutely ridiculous and felt completely forgotten I was even there by their request while so many cars were served ahead of me. All I ordered were 2 meals and they struggled to get that right. To me this is just another location I don’t want to do business with and it shouldn’t be that way.

This place is absolutely terrible, I go because it’s right next door to my house, however the last 6 times I went, they completely messed my order up. Which is actually insane considering how slow the drivethru moves, you have so much time to go over it and make sure it’s right. I order the exact same thing everytime I go, Triple Cheese ONLY PICKLE and a large fry, simple, right? Not for them apparently. I work in the food industry, it’s not a hard job, so why the hell can’t they do one thing right, and that’s make the food how it’s supposed to be made. What if I was allergic to onions and still got them? They can kill someone like this. They should be ashamed. They actually have to be some level of stupid to mess up every single time.

I haven’t been here over a year and I live five minutes away. I asked for a cold coffee once. They said one moment it took more than two minutes to make it. When I drank the remade warm (I did not request warm coffee) it had bubbles in it. It looked like some one spit in it and putt ice cubes in it to hide the spit. I wasn’t even rude don’t come to this one often any more after that other mc does well.

This has to be the worst McDonalds we have ever dealt with. They consistently mess up our order to include not including the actual meat patty in the sandwich! Today was the last straw. We ordered a Big Mac, drove 15 minutes home to find a fish sandwich. My daughter tried to eat it but couldn’t so we made another trip down there to get it fixed. They had my husband waiting at there 2nd window to get help and no one showed up so he had to go in. As he was getting help, a random ignorant associate Ivory decided she would openly disrespect my husband as he was waiting for it to be corrected. The fact that the manager allowed this behavior is shameful. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the error but made my husband look like he was trying to steal from them. Shame on the staff and manager for handling the situation so poorly. We will not be going there anymore!

Waited 40mins for food . The fries were cold. The fish sandwich was thrown together and the bread was wet. The sweet tea was awful. He was tilting the container getting the last drop. It looked like water. Used to be one of my favorite McDonald’s. Very Disappointed and the girl with the clipboard standing in view of the window was in her nose.

Normally, we go through the drive thru but today we decided to go inside. We went up to the counter to place our order and then pay. The card machine was down so we went to the screen near the lobby to pay instead. After getting our cups, we went to the fountain area and discovered a sticky and gross area. Finding one table that was clean enough to sit down at was another challenge. When the wait for our food reached 15 minutes, I went up to the counter to discover that it was sitting back in the food area but was never brought to the counter for us to pick up. I asked the girl behind the counter about our order and she seemed like it was a chore to go get it from the food area. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones that had waited too long. Another gentleman requested his money back and left. What a shame that this beautiful, new facility is so dirty on the inside and with staff that do not care about customer service. I always like to say that if you complain make sure to have a solution as well. My solution would be that staff needs to be retrained and managers need to monitor their store better. For us, we will take our business to another store that cares about their product and patrons.

Ordered through the app. Got my food. The fries had barely been cooked. The line was long and you can't go inside, so I called and told them. They said they'd bring me fresh fries. They did. They were so fresh in not sure they even took time to cook them. McDonald's fries are supposed to be crisp and golden. Repeated failure.

I came at 10:25 and ordered a medium fry. I understand lunch doesn't start until 10:30 but fries can be dropped and served before hand according to another locations manager. They told me they are not serving fries until 10:30 repeatedly.

The food was ok, the fries had no flavor they needed more salt, there is a worker who was very rude and was showing a lot of attitude, told one of the customers to “watch their mouth cause I heard that” the customer was just trying to get their door dash. She was also yelling at her fellow employees. Overall I recommend going to a different McDonald’s cause this one doesn’t have the soda dispenser.

This is the worse Mcdonalds ever. The workers do not speak to you, you have to speak to them. There are multiple workers that are present but not doing anything of importance. They have a problem if they do something wrong and you speak on it. The manager clearly doesn’t give a damn either. DO NOT COME HERE!

Yea, I’ve been to quite a few McDonald’s and I can’t say I’ve ever waited 30 minutes for McNuggets and Fries. The service is the slowest I’ve ever seen. Plus they make you park and just make you wait until they get time to make your food.

November 2024 Update: My little one went there recently. Employees were talking inappropriately around customers and the food gave them diarrhea. There's always a line now and pretty sure health department needs to check on cleanliness. Avoid this location. Food is made right. Expect to wait a little longer than the other McDonald locations in town. If there's a line, they will have you wait in a take out space.

This place is getting too expensive for them to be leaving stuff out of your bag or giving you the wrong order. Order doubles, pay the price for doubles, get home with a bag of singles!

If I could give this location a zero review I would . I ordered a Happy meal through the drive thur . They forgot the fries and apple juice. I went inside to get the fries and juice. A Manager approached me . The first word that came out of her mouth was yeah.She didn't say , how can I help you ma'am. She said yeah, as if I was her friend. I corrected her and she continue saying yeah, yeah with a attitude, as if I was wrong for correcting her. I was brought up to respect my elders. I didn't want to cause a scene. I decide to let it go and leave the store. Maybe this is how she was raised. What happened to good Customer Service. 😡😡I hope Corporate see this review , and get her some Customer Service training .

Wife went into the bathroom around 8:30 this morning, the lady's bathroom was full of high school girls smoking pot and taking up space. No stalls were open and finally one of the kids told the girls (plural) in one stall someone needed to use it, no one answered but a few minutes (yes minutes) later not 1 but 5, yes FIVE girls came out who had been smoking pot in the stall, gave my wife a dirty look and when she said have a great day at school all she got were dirty looks as the girls finished and left. One might say I'm being hard on good kids just being kids, but I wonder if the owner knows what's going on in their establishment and will assume the manager at the time either knew and just doesn't care or does not know and just oblivious to being in charge! Customers, young or old should not be subjected to walking through a cloud of Marijuana smoke, stand there while these "good girls" pass it around as if it is OK and use a public establishment as they're hangout before going to school and yes, I will assume the male restroom was the same. Take a stand McD's, I am sure you don't make that much money from the kids and will eventually lose business. Lost mine.

First, I had to wait about 8 minutes for my order only to find out they messed up my order. Half the food was missing, but it was not only mine, from the looks of the other people waiting and multiple trips to and from cars parked waiting for their food, it seemed like a problem that night. The fries were cold and the Big Mac was horrible. It must have been a bad night for them.

Prepare to wait 45 min or longer in the drive thru most nights. People were pulling away and leaving the line before paying due to how long it was taking. Once we paid the employee whipped out his phone and just started texting infront of us at the window. Not sure if that's what kept the line held up or not, but it definitely didn't help the frustration. Food was cold and soggy. I don't know, just haven't really had a good experience at this particular location.

Came in for a late lunch. Place was very dirty with almost all the tables dirty and the floors very dirty. The food was sub-par. The fountain drinks had a weird pond water after taste. Fries were cold and the chicken nuggets tasted as if they had been sitting around for a while. Over food wasn’t good and the place was VERY DIRTY

I was here today on August 27 2024 at 8 o’clock in the morning usually McDonald’s has a big line in their drive-through. For breakfast It was only four cars in front of me so it wasn’t impact I ordered a sausage and cheese Mc griddle sausage burrito, hash, brown, and orange juice with ice, my food was ice cold so disgusting and they didn’t even put me ice in my orange juice very disappointed and I was super excited to have breakfast today cause I haven’t had McDonald’s breakfast in over four years

Service was very very bad. Manager would use kind words but would semi-shout at your face. I know they are stressed out from a long days work, but it was not appropriate. Customer next to me didn’t get lettuce.

I’m going to keep this short and simple. They are complete trash. An absolute garbage fire of an establishment, the employees are useless and could care less for the customer in this location. They are unsanitary, unprofessional and down right slow!!! You’ll end up with a wait time as if you were in a quality fine dining restaurant for only a 4 piece and a McChicken.

Order was wrong even after I pulled to the first window asking and correcting my order. I see on the receipt after paying it’s still wrong. So I further elaborate at the 2nd window. They park me in reserve spot. After waiting for a single order they bring my food & it’s STILL wrong. Okay whatever but the audacity to not give napkins. I have to draw the light now.

I placed a curbside order through the app because it usually takes so long in the drive thru. My location was turned on for the app; so as soon as I pulled in to a spot it acknowledged that I was there. Long story short the entire drive thru line went through..I called and was told that I needed to put what spot I was in on the app. I explained that since my location was on, it automatically took that option off when I arrived. She said, “well we didn’t get the notification. But we’ll only be able to bring your order out this time because you need to put the spot number next time.” I tried explaining again that it automatically acknowledged that I had arrived in the app when I pulled up, so it took off the option to put in my spot number. She rudely said, “well again…we’ll only be able to do it this time,” like she was doing me a favor? They brought my food out and when I got home which was less than 5 mins away, everything was cold. I had two sick kids in the car otherwise I would’ve went in when they didn’t come out.

Can give it a zero. Went thru drive thru .all I ordered was a number2 with cheese . And after 20 mins and 5 cars behind me getting there food I went in return my drink and got a refund I'v had three bad experiences at three different locations in under 6 months. There is absolutely NO customer service what so ever. Stood for several minutes waiting for an employee to take our order. Several had passed by the front counter with no acknowledgement. Not even someone will be right with you. When my order came up 11 minutes later. I asked for the cup that came with the meal. Kid has an attitude of handing me a cup. Please do better than teenagers that don’t want to work. Lack of management and supervision. The only person that seems to be in a supervisory position has her two kids in the play area. No other adult is with them. She brought them an ice cream cones.

So, my husband is allergic to ketchup. I ordered a burger with no ketchup, no onions. I told the lady at the window that he is allergic so please don't put it near his burger. When I got the burger, there was no ketchup on it but there was ketchup all over the inside of the box. I took the burger back in just to have it remade. I didn't have an attitude, at that time, anything because that's not my personality. Plus, I've worked on fast food in the past and I fully understand that mistakes happen. Anyway, the manager on duty just happened to be the worker who addressed me and I explained to her what happened. She goes to the food line workers and explain the situation. This little preak in the photo in the red and white shirt says, "why come to McDonald's?" So, my response was, "everything at McDonald's does not have ketchup on it." The preak then states, "don't get a hamburger, make your own. " Needless to say, I am LIVID and the manager said nothing to him. Don't spend your money at the McDonald's on Knights Way in Harker Heights!!!

Worst service ever! I usually try to avoid this place but it's late tonight and past my daughters bedtime so I stop. Medium fry, chicken sandwich and a double cheeseburger shouldn't be too much to handle. I asked for no onions, no mustard and add mac sauce. The ticket is correct on the order, but the double cheeseburger is wrong. No onions, no mustard, no mac sauce even though I was charged for it, lettuce and hair!!! This place deserves 0 stars.

I have been a McDonald's lover my whole life. Never did I go to Wendy's or Burger King, but as of late their food quality has been better and service much faster and friendlier than McDonald's in all categories. Maybe it's just the one close to home but I find myself extremely disappointed especially since I worked for McDonald's in high school. The spicy McChicken is now almost paper thin and double the price. Get better McDonald's.

Placed an order through Uber eats and received my food and the burger was raw. So I then had to drive up there to get a remake. I drove home and the second burger was also raw. Order was also missing condiments. Won’t go here again.

Every time we order from here from any delivery place. McDonald’s always messes up the order or doesn’t even give us the food. I even got a bag full of ketchup packets and one fry. When I ordered 2 fries and 2 burgers. I called and they didn’t even listen to me when I advised what I ordered they still said the order wrong to me over the phone. Sounds to me they need a better management team that can control the work space.

Service was abysmal. I ordered at the kiosk, but people trying to order in person were all but ignored. I ended up having to cancel and get a refund after waiting over 20 minutes for a few nugget happy meals and a burger. All they pushed out was DoorDash while ignoring people in the lobby.

Curbside order confirmed and checked in, after 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and hash browns at the curbside pick up I had to go in to ask about my order, they had it just sitting there waiting getting nice and cold. Absolutely unacceptable. See the attached photo for time stamps.

Saturday 4/26/24 @ about 5:15pm: If I were able to give no stars I would do so. I walk into the store and a total of eight young adults and or teenagers working. Problem is none of them were actually working, all standing around at the front counter, talking loud to their friends that are in there.As well as screaming and joking around inappropriately. I stood there for 5 minutes, no other customer but the two kids they were talking to and joking around with. After I waited patiently I had to ask one kind employee standing off to the side that was off her shift if I could get help. Then a girl walks up with dark hair and glasses and says I don’t work at the counter today, but I guess I’ll help her. This is so unprofessional and I hope that the owners or manager’s read this and address it because it’s horrible customer service. When you have that many employees working and they’re all just hanging out at the front counter, talking to their friends and ignoring customers that come in or saying that’s not my job huffing. I think you may need to reevaluate who you’re hiring and know you’re paying them to stand around, not wanting to work

Came to this location tonight for a small snack and ended up waiting for at least 10 minutes for our order that was ordered ahead on the mobile app. Apparently some workers who were off this evening decided to come in and order food and kept talking to the other works and they didn’t care about anyone else and kept asking the girl at the counter if she added her discount over and over again. And kept demanding the other works to “make her food fresh” after we got our food our fries were warm at best and the sandwhichs were okay. They had one true adult supervisor working the rest were children. Also I’ll add it wasn’t busy at all when we came. They only had maybe 3 cars in the drive thru and one other family waiting on their food and then the rude workers who were just ordering food.

The restaurant is short staffed according to the very rude manager “Ang”(I think that was her name Asian woman in her mids). As a manager of a restaurant, the issue with this location is they are trying to keep their drive thru times down and make the entire drive thru park in curbside spots and they continue taking orders even though they are short staff. If you are short staffed, you would think to keep the line in the DRIVE THRU, to avoid having to run every single drive thru order out in addition to the curbsides. So the line doesn’t look too long and people continue to flood in under the impression that the line is moving fast when in turn every single customer is waiting 40+ minutes for their orders. Wild. Just wild. This location needs some corporate involvement ASAP.

Terrible service, did the self order, they got it wrong & huffed & puffed about fixing it. Ordered a happy meal & they didn’t put it in the happy meal box or include two of the 3 items that were supposed to be in it. Place is filthy & to top it off the bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper or paper towels. If we can avoid coming back to this location, we will.

Absolutely terrible food. They don't cook anything fresh. They take a tremendously long time and give you old, stale, cold food. Probably the worst run McDonalds I have ever seen. Trash everywhere, inside is disgusting and very unsanitary. Drive through ordering screens have been busted for months if not years. I try to give them a chance every now and then, but this is probably the 4th or 5th time I've received cold, stale food from here. Never again... They need to go out of business.

DO NOT recommend stopping at this location on your way to work or school. Every time I order, I pre-order on the app to pick up in the drive-thru. I pulled up with only 6 cars ahead of me this morning, and I still sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutes! This is the 3rd time Ive experienced this kind of wait in their drive-thru in the morning.. which is absolutely ridiculous when Im only ordering a biscuit and a coke. Either they need a better team, or better training.

Over ten minutes with no line to get cold fries and a drink. Fries were old and gross. They had plenty of fresh fries, but gave me the old nasty ones. This area fast food in general has been going down hill for a while.

I’m disappointed with this McDonald’s location. The drive-thru menu screen has been broken for almost a year, and it really brings down the experience — especially for being in such a good, well-maintained neighborhood. Customers shouldn’t have to guess what they’re ordering or deal with a menu that looks neglected. This location needs to address this issue as soon as possible. A working menu board is basic customer service, and it’s long overdue for a fix.

The service was slow and toxic from a outside perspective upon dining in. The playground is closed, no soap in the bathrooms!, just an overall negative feeling dining in here. There is nothing in this location worth going to experience. Save yourselves the headache and kids yelling at you for the play ground not being open. very disappointing.

Don't put in an order on the app if you want any extra sauce cups. The app doesn't automatically charge you for the extra apparently. Instead you'll put it in the order and go to the curbside pickup and only get 2 sauces and then when asking for the others you ordered be told to pay for them and spoken to like you're an idiot. They're one of the few things that no one should have to pay extra for. 🙄

Horrible Experience Avoid This Location I haven’t been to this location in years, and after today I won’t be coming back. Both of the ordering screens in the drive-thru were out, and there was no sign, no heads-up, nothing. Instead of explaining the situation or showing a little courtesy, the employee at the first window was flat-out rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. everyone has bad days I was having one too but that doesn’t give anyone the right to take it out on customers. A simple explanation or even a sign would have avoided the whole situation. Instead, I was treated so poorly that I didn’t even place an order, because I honestly didn’t trust the food after that kind of attitude. If this is the kind of service management accepts here, I can only imagine how many other customers have been treated the same way. This location is poorly run, the staff is unprofessional, and the customer service is beyond unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else this McDonald’s doesn’t deserve your business.

Worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever witnessed. the workers are too busy chitchatting in the back while the lobby is full packed like sardines. No one has a smile on their face. They do not welcome anyone in the store. They look like they do not wanna be there the whole afternoon shift needs to be fired …cannot believe for this location to be in Harker Heights that it is so slow and very unprofessional as it is no one realizes this is this is the way fast food is handled. I thought fast food was supposed to be fast Slow food this is a disgrace to the Harker Heights area and I feel as if if you don’t want to smile at customers are welcome customers you should not be working here. This is McDonald’s. We love to see you. Smile is the slogan no one here is happy to work It’s ridiculous

Man this place needs a straight over haul!!! Everyone needs to be fired here. I'm here now every single table is disgusting and we're the only ones here. This review is really not about the restaurant itself but it's about the cardi B offset meal. I will have to say I was very disappointed in the meal itself. Not gonna spend a whole lot of time on this review. I just wish I would have spent my fifteen dollars on something that I really wanted off the menu. Worst McDonald's ever. The staff is literally teenagers cussing and on their phones and the only adults are just as bad. They stand around while I waited for them to take my order. The lobby itself is disgusting employees preparing food without gloves. And they also give you a time limit on how long you can dine in. If you can avoid I would.
