They've got great food and a really fast service is always. So far this is one of the only fast-food places that hasn't never messed up our order. They also have a great variety if you got a couple picky eaters with you. On top of that they are right across the street from a major Park here, so you can order your food and go over there and eat at the park if you want and your food will still be hot.

Food and drive-up is great to use. Love their Diet Limeaide! Very good additions are being added to their menu. Is safe way to pick-up something to eat. Always courteous, fast, & clean place to eat. A smile and hello is included with the order.

Favorite location. Workers are nice, fast service and let me tell you...if you haven't tried the new crinkle fries, it is a MUST. The best crinkle fry I have ever tried in my life and I don't like crinkle fries. This says alot. They are crispy, perfect saltiness and for me have outranked some other pretty top rated fast food places out here. Hotdogs are just as good and always hot when I get home. They always have super good deals with the app and super fast check in.

A good place for burgers and shakes. With their constant offers it is a great value to eat here on the run. Friendly people and great mamnagers. However, i do have to warn you that before you take off check your order. O. Different occasions my shakes have been mismatch but the manager is great about fixing their mistakes.

It's a good place but when you come to making an order they don't always follow the order that you give them they seem like they don't hear or they just want to make the burgers their way to get you out but other than that it's a good place..

I really like their digital menus. Half priced ice cream, shakes, and slushes are great also. You can play with the Sonic app too now. Pretty cool. Food is OK.

Food is good, the person taking the order always does my simple order incorrect...it's not Sonic fault, overall it one of the better fast food place in Halingen Texas. This area suffers form the good help issues. Very hard to get good help. It's like living in Mexico, people there is would prefer to rob and do drugs all day and night than to work.

My bills was 14 dollars for just fries and cheese sticks for 3 people. Went there to save but it worked out the opposite. This included no burgers or drinks. Just 3 side items. Not competitive with McDonald's,BK, KFC, Little Caesar's, TB.

Felt the drive-thru attendant was rushing me through my order. Service was very transactional, no personalization whatsoever. Ordered a chili dog which was good, ordered a small kids burger and that pattie was so thin and dry.

I tend to have a bit of an issue when I order one item and one item only. They still got it wrong. Not that it's a big issue, it just shows the amount of attention they put to their customers. Love the food, Sonic is great, but the staff may need to kick it up a notch.

Sonic usually has great deals worth driving over for, but my last visit to this Sonic left me wanting more. I ordered a kids burger and a chicken sandwich both with tots. Flavor on the sandwiches was average, nothing out of this world. Chicken sandwich was dripping watery mayonnaise, though, which made it difficult to eat on the go. I was most disappointed by the tots. They were crunchy, but severally lacking in flavor. A little salt or seasoning goes a long way, and they fell short by a mile. On the bright side, their chocolate shake was great, so if recommend them for drinks only at the time. I'm hoping this was a fluke and hope that, if I go back, they step up their game. I don't know many restaurants that can survive on just excellent beverages.

Normally it's a no frills go in and buy. Unfortunately in recent history there have been many mistakes on my orders and also having to wait 25 minutes for them to take my order. But like I said they're normally pretty good about it. Still drop by for a shake

Don’t know what it is with this location (never have an issue at Ed Carey), but I’m always missing something on my orders here— No cheese on a jr cheeseburger (even though I repeated it and got confirmation when I ordered) , no extra ranch for my poppers (actually NO ranch for my poppers)— or else the order is just wrong in general. I keep saying I’m not going back to this location but I end up giving it another shot only to be disappointed. It has kind of become a joke with my kids.

I was having a rough day and decided to go in for some comfort food. As luck would have it the guy taking my order didn't sound like he was happy to be there. It wasn't with just me. He was cut and dry with other customers too. This happened on more than one visit. He's not rude he's just needs to sound cheerful when talking to customers. If I had to compare him to a celebrity he'd be Walter by the ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. My food was prepared in a timely manner so that's a plus.

Terrible service at drive thru. Wrong order given to me. Tried to correct and pay the difference. Then ended up laying again because they hadn't added items correctly. Assistant manager (very confrontational) said she was store manager. When I called to speak to the manager she again identified herself as the manager. They had ran out of onion rings. In the 6 past months that I have been craving them from Sonic, just to go the day I finally have time and to find out they ran out was just sad. I probably wont go back again, it just discouraged me.

Dont know why i keep going to this location as no one ever gets the order correct. Spoke to manager today and only said she would speak to person who took order. They need to hire people who are serios about work. Not people who think they can goof off at someone elses expense. Next step is call to corporate. Maybe things will change.

naaaa alright so i work in mcallen and i had to pick up a delivery in Harlingen at 2 but the packages werent gonna be there till 2:35 so i went and got sonic closest thing to me anyways i order and somoc double bacon cheeseburger and 3 hotdogs mind you i didnt check my food i was in a hurry to get back cause i would only have 15 minutes to eat once i get back to go pick up my packages i saw that my hotdogs were cold it was horrible my burger was still hot it had seemed that they just threw in some weiners on a bun cause it was bad

I always get a shake here hoping they’ll put a good amount of toppings and they are so greedy and put literally almost no toppings in them and also really greedy with the tater tot and cheese portions.

Harlingen has three Sonic's. I've been to the one on Morgan several times and there strawberry slushes were never as good as the ones at the Ed Carey Sonic. This time though it was truly awful. It was still white - sugar slush. I asked where the strawberry was and they said Sonic's policy is that's all the strawberry you get. If you want more strawberry, I. E. A decent slush, you have to pay for more. The store manager was unable and unwilling to provide good customer service and if Sonic makes strawberry slushes this way now I'm sure they won't be selling anymore. It was white! You could see right through it when I poured it in a clear glass at home to see if there was any flavoring anywhere in it.

It's been several times where the app said your items are not available, when you go into the drive through, they literally have the items you wanted. When you ask them if you can get the same deal as the app, they respond with "we are not associated with the Sonic app". Like hello it's the SONIC app. Ended up getting McDonald's 😭

I don't like writing negative comments on any restaurant, but I am so angry of the service that was given to me today, it doesn't matter if you are almost out for the night to do your work at 100%, I ordered some food and I didn't get what I ordered. 1. My child's kids meal did not have any fries in them 2. The #1 meal that I ordered turned out to just be the burger itself, no fries, no drink 3. My drink was not even Sprite (it tasted like water), my chili cheese tots didn't even have chili in it just cheese, my coney was cold and tasted like it has been cold for a long time 4. The slushie I also ordered was watered done and it didn't even have nerds in it Yes I am very disappointed

Well this was one major disappointment. The bacon on bacon double quarter pounder was a mess. Bacon way over cooked, meat was cold and to much sauce and mayo. Also ordered the bag of ice which has gone up on price, just recently I found out their competitor sells it cheaper and..... well I just leave it at that and say this. Sonic you're letting me down UPDATE!!!!!.. Went to this Sonic for lunch, took me few minutes to figure what I wanted. Pressed the red button and a guy answered said he'd be with me in minute. I'm like sure............1 min,...........4 mins,.........10mins. I left. Not going there again. I don't have any problem with the other locations.

Wanted a Chocolate Shake,,, tart tots ,,1ft Chile Cheese dog. Went by order my dinner. My dinner was ok,, would of be Great if my Chocolate Shake turn up to be Chocolate.. twice they wanted to make sure.. I and agreed ""yes Chocolate" my order was to go.. when I got my order I didn't Noticed that my Chocolate Shank .. turn out be Vanilla.. Shake.. it was a Real Bummer.. wanting Chocolate and end up getting Vanilla.... Meal was not Delicious.

1. Poor customer service. No greeting no upsell 2. Lot was dirty. 3. Trash cans overfill 4. 23 second reply time. 5. Total Ave time for my order was almost 9 mins. Over double what it should be. Sonic Moto is out the door in under 4 minutes. Reply time should be 3 seconds at most 5 seconds for employees yo answer the speaker anyways. It wasn’t busy. Total of 2 in drive and 3 in stalls. During breakfast 6am-11am. Long waits cold food. Subpar service. Mystery shop scores here has to be bad.

A few month ago I went there to order and I have gotten food poisoning not from the fries but also there onion rings then one of the female worker was very rude talked to the manager and he was nice and he helped me out but I would avoid eating Here at all cost unless you want to get food poisoning and dye from it.

They complete messed up my order. I asked for 2 crispy chicken sandwiches. I got 1 so 1 ig my kids had to share. I asked for a bacon double cheeseburger meal. I got something w an onion ring and toast. I understand it's busy but when I said something they just wanted to charge me extra for the change that they messed up.

Fries were cold and had waayy too much salt, hot dog was almost hard like it had been sitting there for a while. Chicken sandwich buns we're almost hard as well. Cherry limeade tasted like pure carbonated water same for the Strawberry limeade. Not a good visit.

Not happy with the last few visits. I was disappointed that the food was not prepared correctly. My footlong hotdog bun was literally cold. The hot dog and chilli were room temperature, the cheese wasn't melted; I had asked for extra onions and there were barely any onions. I tried the new Groovy fries. I got home with No special dipping sauce! I only found 4 packets of ketchup.😞 I will go somewhere else.

Our burgers were burnt. The patties were a extra crispy and very dry. I feel if I go to a fast food restaurant and spend $45 on 4 people the food better be spot on. As a cook for a world wide chain I know that our orders last night lacked that pride that goes into cooking for a guest. So it's either a case of poor training or last night's employees just don't care about the quality of the food they put out.

All I ordered was two ocean waters, one with nerds candy. Not very many people in the lot, and a few came and went through the drive-thru. We sat and waited for about 20 minutes for two drinks, before pressing the button to ask about a wait time. They said the drinks were done and would be brought out shortly. We waited another 5-8 minutes before we just left. We’re not really impatient people but spending 20-30 minutes waiting for 2 drinks just seems pretty insane. Thankfully I was planning to pay with cash. Unfortunately, I was really looking forward to that ocean water lol

I love sonic ice. I literally been going and trying to get a bag of ice for 2 weeks now and being told that they are not selling ICE bags ..i spoke to the manager on duty at the sonic on morgan and was told that the ice machine was down not only this sonic she as well stated both sonic's in Harlingen had the machines down and were not selling ice ..how convenient for them really 2 weeks the machines not working this is absolutely disappointing and to be honest it kind of felt like they just did not want to sell it DO BETTER sonic!!
