I only go when I'm gifted a gift card by friends or family but the ability to order via the app and pick up is awesome. I don't recommend waiting in the drive thru unless you have time to kill I guess lol

Includes the rare and super convenient drive-through! If you like Starbucks, you can surely appreciate that not many things differentiate them. Easy driveway access (one-way left on departure). Open early. Thumbs up.

Coffee is always great, made the way i ordered, which is key for starting your morning off on a good note :) Bethany is an absolute plus to this location, the rest of the baristas also have all learned my name after coming daily for 2 years since moving to Texas, and always are quick to say hello and fix any issue I may have.. (like someone taking my coffee I order in the app before I get there). Now that Dutch Bros. Is giving a little competition the lines aren't out to the street as they once were.

Only issue was the drive through lane being long and the way customers are lined up for it.. Others who place to go orders are blocked from getting in.. But staff inside are quick and friendly and doing a great job with team work

I love hearing someone call my name. since my wife passed away I never make a pot of coffee anymore. I love getting out of the house for my morning coffee checking my email using their Wi-Fi. also if I'm hungry they have the perfect pastry and even energy drinks if I need a boost. a quick note to those that like cream in their coffee. they have the heavy whipping cream behind the counter and it's no problem to ask for. and the half and half First freely from their coffee bar. You don't have to mess with any of those little plastic fake milk things .

I went to Starbucks earlier before they closed and they were slammed! For them having to work on Christmas and being overwhelmingly busy, I loved that they were genuinely nice and had positive spirits. Being nice goes a long way. Hank you, Merry Christmas! 🎄❤️ 🥰

I had a quick 24 trip in Harlingen and the barista at the drive through this morning MADE MY DAY! He was so happy & so nice. Honestly, really made me feel better after a rough 24 hours. Drive through guy for President!! I didn’t get his name & already threw away my coffee but he was wearing a black & red plaid shirt. He was the BEST EVER!!

Went through the drive-thru at 12:00pm. I didn’t know what I wanted so I explained to the cashier what kind of drink I was looking he suggested something and IT WAS PERFECT. Exactly what I was looking for 😊 great service and it was ready by the time we reached the window! I love this Starbucks! Definitely the best service in Harlingen. Keep it up guys! 👍🏽👍🏽

"Welcome to the best Starbucks in Harlingen" was the first thing I heard going through the drive through. From that point forward I was sold. The lady helping me out was amazing, positive, and had a beautiful spirit. The coffee was delicious too even though I just got a nitro cold brew (those calories aren't going to count themselves.) 10/10 would recommend.

The baristas were very helpful and patient as they processed an order my app wouldn't put through, and they even applied a free drink I had earned but my app ate when I had to reboot my phone. Their attitude at 6am the morning after Thanksgiving was exceptional and they made tasty drinks to boot.

I do not see a point of doing the mobile order if they only start your order if you are in the store. We do the mobile order so that way we get there on time to pick up our order not to wait for it. This place makes you wait might as well wait to order there. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ defeat the purpose of ordering on the mobile Update: I decided to talk to the manager. The manager was very nice and help me understand the process and made my review and my view for this place. I know Starbucks wouldn’t fail me and appreciate her acknowledging the issue and helping me understand. Don’t jump conclusions and first talking to someone. I apologize for the bad review.

Had to come back to update my review since moving to TX and finding my new favorite coffee spot- i drive out of my way for this location because my coffee is made the same way EVERY TIME! Marcus is hands down on top of this location and is doing an awesome job! I am here 6 days a week and without failure if the line starts backing up in the drive thru- any Barista will rush outside to speed things up which is appreciated for mornings and getting to work on time. My dog has learned when it is a Saturday and also looks forward to his puppacino. Refreshing to find such a great team that stays consistent.

This Starbucks location is truly one of a kind. I come here daily to work on school and other tasks, and it’s honestly the highlight of my routine. The entire team makes this place feel like a second home. Marcus, the manager, is absolutely amazing, he’s kind, hardworking, and always welcoming with the sweetest soul. Adrian brings such a vibrant energy in the mornings—his upbeat attitude and confidence-boosting vibes are unmatched. Maddie is always so kind and helpful, Jazz has a welcoming presence that instantly puts you at ease, Kamille greets everyone with a smile every day, and Hope is consistently amazing as always. Even on the rare days when something’s off, like today when my coffee tasted a little different, they fix it without hesitation. That level of service is rare and appreciated. I might walk in a little tired, but every time I leave, I feel recharged like my battery got powered up haha! The genuine conversations and positive atmosphere here are what make it so special. There’s no other coffee shop that can beat the service and energy of this team. Thank you all for making every visit so enjoyable, not just for me, but for everyone who walks through those doors!!!!

If Starbucks had a frequent flyer program for coffee addicts, I’d already have a gold card, a complimentary therapy session, and my own parking spot. Walked into this location running on 3 hours of sleep, questionable life choices, and pure anxiety. Walked out with a venti iced matcha, my will to live, and a barista who called me “queen” with the kind of energy that makes you believe in humanity again. The vibes? Immaculate. The playlist? A mix of indie pop and “you can cry here if you need to.” The drink? Made with the precision of a NASA engineer. I saw my soul leave my body and do a little dance after the first sip. Also, shout out to the barista who spelled my name correctly on the cup—you’re doing the Lord’s work out here. Only complaint: the straw was so tiny I felt like I was sipping my drink through a Capri Sun hole in a windstorm. But hey, hydration is hydration. Will I be back tomorrow? Absolutely. Will I pretend I’m there to “get work done” when I really just want to people-watch and vibe? Also yes.

I am a Starbucks addict!!! The staff knows everyone by name. 😎 the atmosphere is always welcoming and I always look forward to stopping by, I always go inside the lobby just to say hello. My usual is an iced shaken Expresso with 3 pumps classic and 3 pumps vanilla and a butter croissant. From the placing of your order to when you take the first sip of joy, my oh my I love coffee and Starbucks is my only choice 🥰☕️

I downloaded the starbucks apps which makes life easier if your like me and likes coffee but doesn't really know the lingo. This place offers a nice variety of breakfast ideas and pastries. Its also open from 4:30am on a daily basis which i didnt know and makes it convenient as I make my way to work by 630am. Fast service and you can also tell them to surprise you with coffee or refresher or whatever you choose. Very friendly staff.

Steve is awesome!!! They are quick to fill orders and the food/drinks are pretty accurate to what I ask. Side note: my drinks are always usually customized. Also, I was having some problem with my mobile app and they were awesome at going the extra mile to helping me out with that!! The staff there is very much so friendly and helpful . Great place to hang out and talk. The outside tables are great on those cool nights. The employees also go above and beyond to always ensuring that the areas, inside and out, are exceptionally clean. The bar area is always stocked up with all the add ins and the clearance cups and tumblers are always a great deal! Drive thru is always a fast motion as well. Never had to wait more that about 4-5 minutes even when the line is out the parking lot onto Tyler street. If you are still reading, you need to stop and head that way for a nice hot or cold cup of coffee or tea.

The barista in the front, I believe his name was Rod. He made me feel so welcoming and after I received my drink i noticed i forgot to mention no cinnamon on my shaken espresso, they didn’t even hesitate to offer me another one, even tho it was my mistake, great staff and amazing coffee, will definitely be stopping there more often.

A word of advice. Get the App. Drive thru gets busy after 7AM. This location makes the best warmed oatmeal. Whoever handles the AM does an excellent job, of being friendly and efficient. My favorite is the Blueberry Oatmeal. Perfect consistency.

What can you say about Starbucks? You haven't tried it yet? Why not?! Can you get coffee at other places? Yes. Starbucks is what it is. The coffee is the good. The bfast sandwiches and egg whites are great. The app is great. BTW, do yourself and everyone else a favor and order and pay ahead on the app.

They will sometimes get your order wrong, or make a mistake on your name. Other than some of those minor mistakes, they are a good place to relax, order some coffee, talk with a small group, or just do some work on your laptop or phone.

I ordered 2 black tea lemonades sweet and I was disappointed how they turned out. However, the service was great, the staff was friendly and very attentive. Overall a great place to chat with the baristas!

The service here is pretty good even on days when it's busy. I've never had a bad experience with any of the baristas and they're helpful if I have questions about a particular coffee. The remodeled interior that was done some months ago has added a few more seats but overall it's smaller than some other Starbucks locations in the area. If the drive thru is busy, you may get faster service going inside. The drive thru path is kind of small so on a busy day the line can back up into the street or block the entrance.

This location is always packed. It's a hit or miss if you want to have a one on one chat or client meeting. The coffee is not that great and they use syrup to sweeten cold drink, which gives me a headache. I love the smell and the music is usually awesome.

The line in the car lane was very long. I went inside. Only one in the store to order. I did not get my drinks for 15 minutes. I would believe they should have some baristas for drive through orders and some for walk-up orders. Harlingen, Texas needs more Starbucks for sure...the IRISH CREAM COLD BREW was delicious.

Ordered an iced pumpkin crème chai. Disappointed- the drink was served to me 2/3s full, barley any beverage in the cup. I had to return from drive thru & go inside, request they make it right. Thankfully they did honor this request which I appreciate, why not just get it right the first time?

7th time my wife and I have been to this location. Unbelievably, they messed up every time. First they didn't use soy instead of milk. Then the made it hot instead of iced. Then they gave us the wrong size. And repeat. Starbucks needs to stop congratulating themselves and train their employees better. And pay their employees better. No one loves to work. They do it for the money. Give them a finanical incentive to be better at their jobs.

Very small location, terrible drive thru. The drive thru merges with the business next door and blocks flow of trafffic when more than 4 cars are in line. First time here and hopefully last. Waited in the drive thru line for 8 minutes and they could not clear even 1 vehicle in that time. Finally parked and went inside to wait I know all are busy, just used to seeing traffic flow not just everyone parked and/or waiting to be serviced.

In town for a week for business and have been going every morning and the drive thru is ridiculously slow! I was in line for over 25 minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY!! The guy taking the orders needs to be way quicker. Takes way too long! We’re all just trying grab our coffee and get to work!! Highly recommend you work on this

Friendly staff but drive thru isn't "fast" in any sense of the word. Second trip in a row I've spent 40+min waiting. Gonna stop ordering thru the app because you can't get a refund if they're taking forever after you ordered. C'mon guys...we're on 10th month of the pandemic. Figure it out.

You can try ordering a drink as a walk-in customer, but they're so busy with drive-through and app orders that you'll be waiting ten minutes to place the order and another ten minutes to get your drink. Patio has nice new furniture, but no one ever comes out to wipe tables and chairs, or pick up trash. It's mostly used by people who are not buying anything. There is WiFi signal, like at every Starbucks, but it's not connected to the Internet. Most of this could be improved with better management and staffing.

“Cafe Closed Mobile Pickup Only”…Whisky Tango Foxtrot over? I really don’t get it when SB stores do this. I walked over from my hotel and was looking forward to sitting down, relaxing and enjoying a coffee in a clean, comfortable, air conditioned SB…no joy! I just don’t get why they do this.

Guys, if I'm paying 7 dollars for a Caramel Macchiato at least give me a caramel macchiato. I worked there for 10 years. This ain't it. It ain't even close. Consistently comes this way from this store. On this one they even asked if I wanted it upside down, and I specified no. Come on. Vanilla, ice, milk, espresso, caramel sauce in that order, espresso sits on top of the milk. You're putting hot shots directly into cup adding milk and then adding ice mixing it all up. The flavor profile is different. The temperature profile is different. Do better please!

Have always got my drinks perfectly made but today I was highly disappointed the lady at window said she would call me when drinks were ready asked for my number never called. SO after the 30 min she said they would take I went ahead and headed over to pick up and drinks were ready but looked like they had been sitting on counter all melted and they didn't even offer to replace them sad sad day I love starbucks but today they lost a customer. But will try other location next time. Total of 4 melted frappes

We pulled up to the order box and waited 5 minutes before we decided to ask if anyone was there. I ordered a simple grande strawberry creme Frappuccino, and for some strange reason they put caramel drizzle on it. It looks nothing like the picture from the app, it looks absolutely gross, and off putting. The pastries we got are now served inside plastic bags, so they can no longer be warmed I guess. Also, the paper straws are too narrow for the cookie crumble to pass through. Overall, I didnt have an enjoyable experience.

I ordered a Trenta Peach Tea Lemonade on the app last night and stopped by to pick it up only to find the doors locked. I called the store; took about 5 different attempts calls before someone answered. Each call rang 10 times but no answer. The lady who wouldn’t give me her name said I had to pick up in the drive-thru which had at least 12 cars ahead of me. The app usually will tell you if you cant go inside to pick up your order but not this time. Online it shows the availability for takeout, drive-thru, and dine-in, which by the way there was one guy in there eating and drinking a coffee. I asked her to cancel my order but still don’t see a refund on my account. Bad service and lady not professional at all. I wish I could leave 0 stars.

This store is drive through only. They are ill prepared. They need to have workers in the drive thru line taking orders to call inside so the line keeps moving. We waited inline for over 30 minutes and left with probably 30 more minutes to wait. I won't go back to this store. Starbucks is not that special to me.

Ordered brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso left with a Grande cup 3/4 filled with oat milk, a hint of espresso at the very bottom and NO brown sugar syrup. It was milk at first taste then we swished the drinks around and got a small amount of espresso flavor. Very disappointed

Typical Starbucks, 6 people "working" 1 person making drinks, one in drive through the rest standing by register not helping or cleaning. Coffee was watered down, literally was thrown away as a full cup at next destination.....thanks. A simple stop for 2 drinks took 18 minutes.

I came in today and they don't have a lot of items on the menu. Also no cup sleeves no napkins Really? We pay alot for a drink and they don't have what we want. Something she be done to correct this problem.

Usually crowded and dirty. Barista are always behind the counter talking and no sense of urgency. Unfortunately both Harlingen location's are sad. Service at Tyler location still very rude, slow and poor quality. Not worth my effort or money any longer. Corporate Customer Service sent a form letter with the template not even filled in properly. Definitely not a place to bring business associates any longer. Very sad!

Worst Starbucks ever! They consistently get your order wrong. The wait through drive through is long and they are on apologetic about it. Basically they could care less about their customers, they got your money now move on! Keep your hard earned money for a Starbucks other than this one . Buyer definitely beware

The coffee shop was pretty much out of a lot of their products, specially the popular ones for the season. I’m a Starbucks fan and I was very disappointed at experience at this location. I also ordered a Frappuccino for my sister who recently had surgery no coffee, when I asked the associate which one no coffee, she got mad at me for making sure order was correct.

Order online a hot coffee, 20 minutes later get there, they mistake the order, not a big deal. The fact I was standing next to the pick-up area and two other customers walked and got help, and 5 minutes later (still ignored), I had to ask for help, just to be told "we're busy you have to wait sir" got my nerves... really?

Walked out after waiting for my drink for ~10 minutes. Typically this wouldn't be a problem, I don't mind waiting especially when its busy. However, I do mind the fact that the 3 people who ordered after me (one of which had 4 drinks) got their drinks before me and the barista hadn't even started my drink.

This particular Starbucks is notorious for making their drive-thru customers wait at least 45 minutes to an hour till they get a drink, there's absolutely no way to rectify this amount of time stolen on a daily basis over coffee, the employee's move like molasses unlike the Starbucks across town on Ed Carey where you can get a coffee two to three times faster

Rude customer service. I love the Starbucks every where else in Texas but when I come down here to Harlingen these people here are something else They act like they hate working there.I try to be extra nice and they treat me so poorly. The drinks are never made right I believe they have old machines too because it taste like old sewerage water.

Service is great, but they do not put what you pay for this used to be my favorite Starbucks in the valley, but Lately I tell them that I want a pacific thing on my drink and they charge me for it but they do not put it!! So annoying 😑

if you have an employee that cannot multitask then please keep them away from the drive-thru. This Harlingen store is the slowest one I’ve ever been to. And with bad customer service. I arrive being the 3rd car in line, and waited 5 minutes while the first cars order is taken. When I get to the ordering screen, no one says anything for a minute. I say “hello?” I get a “one moment please”. It was a mobile order so I proceed to the front after I tell them under what name. Get to the window and see both of my drinks RIGHT THERE. Girl walks away from window, comes back, continues to take order from her ear, ties her apron, grabs something from under the register, continues to tie her apron, continues to take order. I’m staring at her this entire time. She gives me one drink without saying anything. I wait for the second while she CONTINUES to take the order (because a person can’t LISTEN AND HAND A DRINK OUT AT THE SAME TIME???) She gives me the other without even looking in my direction so i couldn’t really reach, I’m so frustrated at this point. I grab the drink to hard I guess and a little spills out. She just looks at her hand and looks back at the screen. Please get this individual to work on simpler tasks. Get someone else who can work quickly and effectively. This was on 9/11/24 around 545pm. And yes, I’m aware that if I need additional help with this concern I click “contact us” on your website.

The water in my refresher had a bad taste. I took a chance and ordered another a month later and it still had a taste but not as bad as the first time I got it. I believe the water filtering system maybe. But I don’t think I will be going to this location anymore.

I went to the drive through, asked for extra caramel on the bottom of my cup,when they brought it to me, there was a little caramel on the sides of my cup, but none on the bottom, so I ask about it. This girl slammed the window shut, I was told to move forward. The girl brought out my drink, I could tell she was mad. She handed me my drink, I said thank you, and she stomped back toward the door, and went in. Sooo rude. I don't think people like that should work with the public.

I work nights and I have to be at work by a certain time. The order in advance is very convenient WHEN THEY ACTUALLY MAKE MY DRINK IN ADVANCE, NOT WHEN I ARRIVE!!! It's been at least a dozen times that they wait for me to physically be standing there, ask for my name, then they make my drink. I order at least 10-15 min before arrival. I actually have ordered 20+ minutes beforehand, and they still wait for me to get there. To top it off, the people who walked in and ordered at the front register still got their drinks before me. One of those customers felt bad since she recieved her drink before me and actually offered to give me her drink.

Happens over and over. So decided to get down this time. Asked for light ice and extra oat milk, my expresso came loaded with ice, after i took the bulk out the cup was less than a 3rd full. Went inside and all i said was if they could please just add more milk. The guy got upset for some reason and said he cant keep remaking it. I told him again all i wanted was a bit more milk to diliute the coffee since they hardly put any milk, it eas all ice. And again, he kept telling me he couldn't remake it. Again, I told him Im just asking for a bit more milk to be added to this one, I dont want a new one. Again, he insisted he can't keep remaking it . I go t upset and told him, "You know what forget it." As I was walking out, he offered to remake it. Too late, he had already upset me. And I came in in such a good mood too. Never coming back to this Starbucks. Picture of what was left after I took out some ice.

3 strikes and this Starbucks is out!! - 5/22/25 I had a 4 drink order and asked for a bag with cup holders; they said no bags because they are for delivery only and food items and I got a cake pop but that didn’t constitute a food item - 6/9/25 I placed my order and added my personal cup; I get to the window the person basically shoved my drink in my car and I said “oh I asked for a personal cup” they said “oh idk I didn’t make your drink “ no sorry, I’ll make it right NOTHING! I asked “do you still do personal cups?” They said “yes, why” I said “because it’s here in my paper so I was just wondering why it wasn’t down” they pro work say again “idk I didn’t make your drink” I did speak to the Manager and at least he apologized. - 6/12 today I added my personal cup to the order and this is what I received (see pic) and I asked “why wasn’t it filled to the top, it usually is” they said “I can fix it for you” but I didn’t want it to be touched again because it should’ve been right the first time. Needless to say, this Starbucks has gone down hill with service.

My daughter placed a mobile order last night on our way to Starbucks because it's easier than ordering at the drive thru for her. We get there couple minutes after placing the order and no one else was at the drive thru so I drove around the store once before actually getting in line. A female asked for the order and I asked if there was an order for *daughter name*, she says she's gonna check, then a guy comes on and RUDELY says, "you JUST placed the order, it's not ready yet." I was kinda shocked because we've never been told that. The more common response when that happens, and frankly more professional response is, ok, we're still working on that order, you can pull up to the window, or, we're still working on that order but would you like to add anything else? Then after he said that there was THE LONGEST PAUSE and I said, "ok.... That's fine?" Again, another long pause before the female comes back to finally tell me to pull up. Mind you, the store was not busy at all and no one else was in line so tell me why I waited at window for an awkward 7 minutes. Like they intentionally took longer just to prove a point? Honestly what's the difference between me pulling up and ordering and me placing the order online? There was no need for the rudeness whatsoever. We were so excited for our coffees and that unnecessary comment and wait time just ruined the whole experience. That young man needs to be properly trained oh how to better respond to customers because that was completely unnecessary.

Paid for ventis, because I was craving them. Bought one for me and my husband, told them “light ice” does that look like light ice to you? My coffee tasted like pure milk, and not like it was mixed at all. Don’t recommend this one, I’ve gotten drinks that are supposed to be not stirred, stirred and I was upset. Our barista was rude, they had such an attitude and didn’t even say thank you. Proceeded to give us an ugly look, no thank you taking my business elsewhere. Oh and by their policy, some drinks are required to have ice, so you get less drink than you’re paying for.

Man o man does this drink taste like city water with that ice they are using. My drink had a very distinct taste today. I can tell the flavor is very different. Alice starbucks did not have this taste.

I’m super de satisfied with the customer service at this location, at least with the night shift. I called ahead before placing my mobile order and explained to the lady on the phone that it was my nieces birthday and I couldn’t personally take her since I live in Austin, so I asked if she could please do me the favor or writing a little something for my niece on her cup. She said yes, I could write happy birthday. I repeated myself at least four times and she said yes I will write happy birthday. When my niece picked up her order there was no happy birthday on the cup nor on her cake pop bag. It might not be a big deal for some of y’all, but I know when I worked as a barista I did my best so that customers could leave with a big smile on their face. And yes, I am super upset for this little detail that was not done which I called ahead before placing my order! This is why I write this review, even though it won’t make a difference at least now I know what location not to order from when asking for a small simple little request. Thank you!

Incredibly slow drive through service. Spent my entire lunch break in line for one drink and a sandwich. I’d order in next time but I’m worried it’ll be the same. Won’t be coming here again. The management is all over the place here and they clearly do not value your time. I would only suggest coming here if you have nothing else to do for the next hour or so.

This is like the 3rd time i get my venti hot white mocha almost only halfway full. I understand there is whipped cream added but is there really this much space needed?? I want what I pay for! I order a venti and a grande almost every morning before work and they are both like this.
