I got the lamb and chicken over rice. Honestly, I should have just gotten the lamb — the chicken was a bit dry and not as flavorful as the lamb, in my opinion. Other than that, everything was fresh and tasty. This place is perfect for a quick, filling bite.

ROBERT is FANTASTIC!!!! He made our first experience last night so very memorable with his enthusiasm, passion for excellence in guest service, kindness, & wonderful professionalism! Robert was so friendly - a true gentleman. It was obvious that Robert takes great pride in his work & enjoys keeping his guests happy. Management is so fortunate to have Robert on the team - his positive vibes were so infectious! Robert is one of the best chef in Houston, Tx. We came in to Gyro King 10/15 and he was the only server and cook in the entire restaurant. The restaurant was swamped with customers and online orders, but nevertheless Robert had outstanding customer service. He remained completely level headed handled his customers orders in a timely fashion. He was able to cook our food perfectly. The food was fresh and definitely hit the spot. If you’re in town and you’re craving something with a little Mediterranean flair but with some soul in the flavor, come to Gyro King. Robert will not disappoint!!!

Very flavorful! Plenty of food. I got the chicken gyro and a salad and B juice. The juice of made fresh.n The sauces are great and in my opinion, The perfect amount of spiciness. Rob and the other young man was also super friendly too. Also the music was pretty hype. Gave me some much needed energy

I come here every once in awhile and they never disappoint. Robert the worker is so nice. He's very professional and always makes sure everything is correct with the order. The atmosphere is great because you can see them prepare your food first hand and it's nice and quiet. I always come back for the lamb and chicken over rice but I tried fries this time. Till next time.

My brother works there a very tall and bald. African American gentleman is the heart and soul of that restaurant. Please treat him with care. I would not be happy if I hear otherwise. Ordered the lamb gyro as a King Premium meal. Delicious food made fresh! Price for a combo is a bit steep for a graduate student to eat here regularly, but the entrees are well worth the $12 or $13

Very delicious! I came with my mom and we shared the large gyro fries. The portion is enough for two people. We ordered an extra plate to go for our family to try. Definitely coming back again. Robert was very nice and friendly. I definitely recommend trying this place.

I had Robert was super friendly. I used to eat here in college years ago when this place was just a food truck. Now it became a restaurant with great vibe. Yummy stuff, lamb and chicken over rice #1. Highly recommend.

We heard good things about this place and we were not disappointed! The salad was so fresh and the food was hot and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp were amazing. I loved the pickled carrots. They were patient with us when ordering and helped us to choose things we would like. I can't say enough good things about them. Please try it out, we love to support good business! Today was my second time here and it was great again! I had the Lamb Over Rice plate with one of the juices they make. The sauce they provide along with the customer service was also great! It will be a regular stop for me when I go to Houston. They serve the food quickly, too.

This place is really good i had the chicken platter and it was really good with great portions. The lamb platter was also good. The guy taking our order was super nice and quick. Definitely coming back.

Amazing amazing spot!! The food is full of spices thus oozes with flavor!! There are great menu options including raw juices. The inside is a very cool, contemporary atmosphere — it’s the best place in the strip mall! Give it a go; it will not disappoint!

The lamb gyro was great and very reasonable price. If I lived in Houston I could see myself eating here several times a week.. Would have given food five stars but didn't really care for the side order of fries. Personal preference of course, but too thick and starchy for me.

Ordered right at lunch time. Short line to order, then about a 20 minute wait for the food. It didn't have any seating left by 12:10. The food is served in disposable plates/packaging even for dine in. Canned sodas or bottled water for drinks. No real atmosphere, it was Okay. Service was okay. I liked the food and if it close by, it is worth it. Not worth a trip across town to eat. Next time I am in the area, I will try somewhere else in search of somewhere with a little more atmosphere. They have a Lamb cone but it looks like they cut the meat off and store it well before it is served. The vegetables seemed fresh, the rice was greasy. Big bottles of sauce.
