The food was so good! I got the shrimp garlic noodles and salt and pepper shrimp with white rice(lunch). The menu has way more choice in person then online. I had no complaints on the food, the price was great for the amount of food I received. This will be my new spot For Chinese food 🙌🏽

Little hole-in-the-wall place in a really old building, but with the absolute best flavors for Chinese food in the area!! You know that amazing smell when you walk by a Chinese restaurant - China Kitchen in Hayward has mastered getting that flavor in their food! Servings are generous. Only street parking - there is no lot; and they still don't have a "dine-in" option for now. Pretty extensive menu with all the favorites - vegetarian and pescatarian options, too! "No MSG" printed right on the menu!! One of my favorite places!

Great food, it wasn't busy so we got our food fast. Definitely will be coming back anytime I'm in the Eastbay. Hole in the wall places always have the best food!! Would definitely recommend if you want some good authentic Chinese food!!

They’re reliable! Been going here for about 8 years now. It seems to be ran by a Chinese couple there, very kind folk. Always a smile on their face when I see them. It’s a super no-frills hole-in-the-wall call—ahead type dealio. Our regular items are: 1. Beef chow mein 2. Beef or house chow fun 3. Fried Rice 4. Beef and Brocolli 5. Sweet and sour pork 6. Fried pork wontons 7. Shrimp egg foo young - recent pick-up & some refrigerated Dr. Pepper cans! Call ahead about 15-20 minutes and they’re always pretty good about getting done by then. Sometimes I wait a little extra but it’s because they’re a bit busy for dinner time.

Cool little place food is good! I love won ton soup and their barbecue pork fried rice & when I branch off for other tastes, I can say I’m well pleased. My favorite Chinese food in this area

Great old school mom n pop kitchen with good food for decent price. I love their hot sour soup. Theyve been there for many years and their clients have frequented their establishment for ages. This is the best for togo that doesn’t break the bank.

This place is my go to for some really fantastic Chinese food. The people that work here are nice and if there are any customized items that need a lil change like no onions or that I hate string beans . They are really good at making sure our order is correct and the way we like. Love this spot and hope it's around for years to come...it looks like this place is a lil hole in the wall that gets passed up by where it's at... But it makes up for it in the service and especially the food. On top the portions are well worth it

I dont like to give small businesses a hard time, the food was amazing the only issue i have is the consistency of their hot and hour soup, ITS EXTREMELY THICK, I've been to house of dumplings and hong Kong city restaurant in the area, this is thr first time encountering soup being served like this. I hope I can either get a refund on the item or an exchange. None the less everything else was great, just wish I didn't pay 11 bucks for this item

This place had high reviews but it did not live up to the ratings. I came here with my boss and even he rated this as below average. First the water tasted like tap water. The Mongolian beef was dry with Chili's in it when the menu didn't call for them. The fried rice was dry and had clumps of white rice in it (not mixed thrououghly) but there walnut shrimp was good along with there egg rolls. This place is average for me because the cashier lady was nice at least.

I have been craving eggs scrambled in sesame seed oil, prawns, with green onions over rice. The option for this dish is on the menu, but I was not able to select it for delivery. I had to request shrimp fried rice, but I was able to type in the special request box, the aforementioned items. To my dismay, I had peas, which I don't like and carrots in my meal. I spoke with someone over the phone. She indicated the dish always come with vegetables. Are the peas and carrots in the egg ? She was also very dismissive and condescending. She said the order was weird. She stated next time. I informed her there would not be a next time and she hung up the phone. Very unprofessional.

I got scammed, I paid but they took more than what I paid. I gave her 20 the food was 14 and she gave me 2 dollars. I understand that taxes exist but 4 dollar taxes?!!! Ofc I didn't say anything cuz I don't speak English.

I picked this place BECAUSE the review. 4.4 is high for a restaurant. I picked 4 dishes on my way home today. Price is low but the quality is even lower. I am not sure how this place got such high review. We dumped most of the food. The taste is strange and the chicken and beef are not as fresh as needed to be. Dont follow the reviews.
