Tasty food, good service, and lots of good options. We stumbled into this spot on a cold rainy night and had a really nice time. The pizza and the burrata were excellent. We also tried the chocolate brownie - it was well made and tasty though not the biggest fan of the gelato they served on the side. We also tried the port wine and it was great.
I had a quick lunch before heading to my spa appointment and kept it simple with the focaccia, which was warm and delicious, and an arugula salad topped with grilled chicken, paired with just water. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was prompt and efficient. The space wasn’t too busy since it was later in the afternoon, and the staff was attentive and kind. The meal was hearty, with generous portions at a great price. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I’m looking forward to returning and exploring more of menu options.
We recently checked out Pizzando and it did not disappoint! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which really set the tone for a great experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The pizza was so good - crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. We also tried some of the appetizers and they were equally delicious. It's clear that the ingredients are fresh, which makes all the difference. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Pizzando if you're in the area. The staff and atmosphere are both laid back and friendly, and the food is top-notch.
Really substantial panini chicken sandwich with cheese & Arugula & salad here was one of my best delights & in flavor & value in the quaint Healdsburg city. The service was swift & attentive, & the inside ambiance peaceful & comfortable. I had a Kolsch NA beer for first time & it ranks as one of my best tasting ever. More on the light side but very distinctful. The building facilities were clean & well supplied with those customers usually expect.
We stopped here for lunch. Very nice and comfortable restaurant! Service was excellent. I ordered a beet salad which was delicious! We shared a pizza, which was wood fired and very good. I will definitely return!
Wonderful wood fired pizza! We tried the pepperoni and mushroom, bacon and truffle oil pizza and both were outstanding. The crispy Brussel sprouts were just as good and a perfect addition instead of a salad. We went on a week night and there was no wait.
Was greeted immediately upon by the amazing hostess and the seated quickly mind you this is Tuesday at 5:30 pm. I got the meatballs app and a pizzando passion to wash it down with both were excellent as my main course I chose the chicken panino and it was delicious as expected very easy bites. Great job to who made my drink and my food much appreciated
The second time trying out this restaurant. I was totally satisfied. The food is very good. The service was outstanding. The prices are reasonable.
Our pizza and salad were excellent, and we had great service. The salad ingredients were very fresh and it was dressed well. They split it into 2 dishes for us without asking too. Friendly and efficient service. We visited when it wasn't too busy. Price was quite reasonable too.
Great pizza at a decent price for the area with excellent service. I really enjoyed their pizza selection and the atmosphere eating outside next to the town square was relaxing. The servers were very respectful and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to others!
We had the asparagus fritto misto and the vegan mix pizza. Both tasted really good! We were told the asparagus would be fried in the same oil as the calamari, but, on learning that we are vegetarians, they assured us that it would be made in a fresh oil. Really appreciate that.
Burrata, Brussels sprouts and bacon pizza - wonderful! Convenient location right next door to many wine tasting options.
The Mushroom truffle pizza is my favorite with that crisp bite of presumptuous bacon, complimented with the burrata salad sending tarts of fruit and poignant freshness of arugula. The warmth of service within the obligatory distancing of COVID was profoundly joyful. In addition, serving and delivering joy with the addendum of two fires in Sonoma and Napa overlapping, the crew at Pizzando is 100 aspiring for 200.
We had the sausage pizza. The 12 inch pie was enough for two people to share. The homemade sausage had lots of fennel. It was delicious.
Super good pizza and great drinks as well. Loved my boozy boochcraft! The pizza had lots of flavor, especially on the crust and a great variety of veggies on the vegan pizza. Enjoyed the outdoor seating.
This was a lovely hidden gem. Highly recommend. Service and food were excellent!
I mean…this pizza is just straight up good pizza. We had the mushroom truffle and enjoyed every last bite. Actually, we have leftovers in the fridge as I write this…I guess I’m having pizza for breakfast.
Their patio area is really nice! Pizza was great!
Good food and great service. We had the pasta and a burger. Will go again.
Classy, cozy, tasty and affordable. Great eggplant bruschetta and who’d have thought a pizza with bacon and potatoes will be a such a blast.
If you're celiac, ask for a separate pot of water for your pasta. They're accommodating and very friendly. The gluten free pasta is 10/10!
Friendly service, great atmosphere! We didn’t feel rushed at all and could enjoy our meal. Salad was fantastic; the pizza was very good (although crust wasn’t anything amazing). And the soft serve swirl is not to be missed! The portions were generous and easy for sharing. Kid friendly too.
Wow! We loved our meal here! We had the broccolini pizza and bolognese rigatoni with focaccia. Price and portions were perfect. Street parking was easy to find on a week night. Food was so flavorful! Staff was attentive and friendly. 10/10
We were greeted by Clarissa. She was so welcoming and Warm and made us feel so at home. Beautiful personality. Give her a raise!
Excellent pasta, appetizers, and drinks. Comfortable and relaxing environment. Staff was professional and friendly. We will return and highly recommend a visit.
Stopped in a week or so ago with a group of my coworkers for dinner. We sat at the bar to dine and had an excellent experience, our bartender Chantel was phenomenal! She was expedient, professional, witty and all around just an excellent bartender and server! If you pay the restaurant a visit and she is your bartender or server I can guarantee you're an excellent hands! The food itself was pretty fantastic, if I had to criticize one thing it would be that the crust of the pizza wasn't terribly great. Otherwise the ingredients were high quality and artisan level. Definitely recommend checking out PizZando!
Pizza was fantastic. I had the Funghi. The white sauce was perfectly balanced and did not overwhelm the delicate mushrooms. The crust was good enough to stand on it's own ... would eat it without sauce or toppings. It's a lovely place with several flavors of atmosphere. Folks at the bar were noshing and socializing. The dining room is comfortable with plenty of natural light and you can dine outdoors as well. The atmosphere could be described as sophisticated but not at all pretentious. It was a fun place to be. Service was excellent. I had one main server but the rest of the staff is attentive. My server was knowledgeable and fun. I had her choose some nibbles in addition to the pizza and it was perfect. The survey asks how much I paid per person. It was a touch over $60.00 but I tried several items and could have fed three normal people. I would say $20 to $30 per person is a fair expectation. I would also say that given the entire experience that is it a good value. I will definitely be back.
Amazing pizza and pasta with a great wine selection! The indoor seating is beautiful, and the covered heated patio is perfect year-round. It’s a little on the spendy side, but totally worth it—and still family-friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
The Bucatini all'amatriciana is the best I have had in this country. The food is served literally right off the skillet. Friendly, and helpful, staff. And the prices are very reasonable. The Italian lentil soup was awesome as well.
Had a really good spaghetti after a long time. We could not try much here, but definitely coming here again. Also tried its rosemary sourdough bread, the freshly baked bread tasted really good. Although I think it should be served with olive oil, as the bread was a bit dry. We had to ask for it. Otherwise definitely recommend this place.
Came here after a weekend of wine tasting further north. I normally stop at another restaurant in this area, but decided to try something new. I was not disappointed. Good service and really good food. My date had the ravioli and I had the lasagna. Both were quite delicious. My only complaint would be that we had to order bread separately and the portions on the ravioli could have been better. I will return for sure. There was lots on the menu I'd like to try.
One of many wonderful options on the plaza in Healdsburg. Outdoor and indoor seating. Small bar area. The cocktails were delicious. Mixed well and dressed nice. The food was equally delicious. Pizza was a little under cooked for my liking but delicious nonetheless. The artichoke was a perfect appetizer. Simple aioli and cooked so the leaves were tender. Recommend anytime you are nearby.
We ordered the Truffle/Mushroom pizza, the Cobb, and had a couple of local beers they had on their bottle list. Food was great, everything tasted really good. Loved the flavor of the crust on this pizza. The wood-fire oven does wonders for pizza. Great quality. Good portions. Great size to share. Service was pretty quick too and they're friendly like most people in this area. It was an easy, in and out, no brainer type dinner. I'd come back for sure.
OK not great. Pizza was at best 4. Large portion but the crust was chewy. Brussels Sprouts were pretty good. Service pretty slow. 3.5 rounded up to 4.
Uber hio spot right on Healdsburg square. Good but not great pizza. Their soft serve ice cream hugely popular in the summer.
Very good! Delicious calamari, Brussel sprouts & Italian sausage pizza. Lovely evening in Healdsburg to eat outside.
Not my favorite pizza crust style, but pizza flavors were solid. The Caesar with anchovies was great, and service was good.
Decent dining option in tourist hot spot. Lots of seating including some that’s mostly covered outdoor. Wife’s Cacio e Pepe got high scores from both of us. Flavorful, but modest in portion size. My Beef Bolognese was the inverse scoring very low on flavor but was more plentiful. Staff was working hard; the cooks didn’t stop moving. Prices were reasonable considering what the rent on this location might be. Would possibly visit again.
Food was okay but ambience was great!! Not a great experience! Staff were amazing but we didn’t like the food and there was hair in the pizza. We were compensated with a new pizza on the house though! Pizza was ok but pasta wasn’t great! Not sure if I’m gonna go back.
Great ambiance. Their pizza was just ok, the rest are tasty and new. Liked the fried artichoke, but one was a lil over fried.
First and most likely last visit unless it’s coming back for the Roman style crispy artichoke appetizer, which was amazing but the rest of the meal and service were all disappointing let downs. Artichoke appetizer: 8.5/10 Cacio e Pepe: 4.9/10 Squash Pizza: 5/10
Our server took the remaining 1/4 of our pizza we were going to bring home as leftovers, proceeded to drop them facedown on the counter and was going to put them into the leftover container as if nothing happened before I said something. Tossed the leftovers but did not offer anything as compensation. He did apologize but trashing some of what we paid for without taking anything off the bill is poor form.
The soft serve is a great deal and tastes great, but the server could care less. Will choose somewhere else to spend my money next time. If you don’t want to service ice cream customers, don’t have a huge cone sign outside…
The location and atmosphere is great. Service was a bit slow, but generally quite pleasant. The food/pizza was disappointing. The texture of the crust was good, but the flavor was completely missing. We ordered the pear and fig pizza, the margherita pizza and the funghi pizza. The Funghi was the best of the lot in terms of flavor. The other two were just bland and lacking flavor. We ordered the beet salad and the quantity was tiny and it was lacking any significant dressing and could have used some cheese. Also it came with orange slides which still had seeds in them which was not great as some of us bit into the seeds.
Little care in end product. Ordered a seasonal peach pizza, which could have been promising. The amount of cheese on the pizza was highly unnecessary- the ingredients themselves would have shined beautifully with some attention and care. The brussels sprouts were drowned in Sherry vinegar; another detail that could have been managed and resulted in a better end product. Service was great.
The remodel and interior were pleasant, but the food was very disappointing, barely above the level of basic home cooking. Why pay $$$ for simple dishes and small portions? We asked for the thin crust pizza and the waitress got it backwards serving a thick dry crust with abundant tomato sauce and well, barley anything else. They used to have a great olive and tomato pizza...I guess that is a past pleasure.
The fries were soggy, the $17 salad was made of giant unchopped lettuce and not enough dressing. The pizza didn’t have the correct toppings. The “crispy” Brussels sprouts were in no way crispy. Overall very disappointing.
Cockroach’s everywhere!!! I saw at least 4 one in the bathroom and 3 in the dining area. Do not eat here if care about cleanliness the place seemed very dirty especially with the roaches and flys. The service was bad after we got sat down it took a server almost 20 minutes to take our order. It took 35 minutes for our food get to our table and it was not cooked all the way through.
I hope the owner or bar manager sees this and does something about it. Had an absolutely horrendous customer service experience with a server/worker named Kiley. Her attitude toward me was extremely rude and off-putting and all I did was politely ask how long it would be till an order was ready. I have no idea why people like that work in customer service positions. I'm completely baffled at the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness. Edit: This is hilarious. Now, the "owner," in response, hasn't addressed or taken accountability for the poor attitude of their worker at all. All excuses. It isn't Monday night. It's Sunday night. Football is over. There was no overwhelm on my behalf, just prudence and punctuality. Bad look you guys.
Long hair in food and fruit flies. Advised manager, said he was sorry to hear about the situation. One of the cooks, liked to pound on the pizza pans.
