This Whataburger is like a bilingual affordable Five Guys. A great menu that allows for customization to get exactly what you want. My favorite is a Whataburger Junior on a toasted large bun with cheese, extra mayo and grilled onions. You could also add Jalapenos or Fajita vegetables or a dozen other options to make it exactly what you want. High Five Stars for quality, taste, great staff, specialization and cleanliness. YAY Whataburger.

This is the place of encounter between mexicans and texans, allways with a lot of tradition, passing the bridges and waiting while you're hungry is not the best combination, but this places has all, great burgers, great coffee and if you don't want to eat heavy they have deserts and also sallads, so best choice if you start to travel between Reynosa and McAllen. Very cozy and calm.

Everything is great, service (the managers participation, the cashiers work and smae for the cookers) is pretty good, food is cooked really fast and at a very good temperature, and has a great cleaning which i really appreciate, tho one thing i dont like, is the costumers anoying the workers, delaying others orders, doing a tantrum and making someone time less enjoyable. 5 STARS NOT. The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich has always been my favorite since it came out. Unfortunately some employees don’t care about how they do or what they do, they don’t care about the customers. Which is the case of this location in specific. When asking for my burger they tell me they don’t have it but then they say “if you pay us more we will have it”, as if this were a joke. Fine i take it, we get the burger, drive home to open our delicious burger to see that it’s actually bbq, what a disappointment, I checked the receipt: “Buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich; original price+additional price”. Also we specifically asked our fries extra crispy to find that they were soggy and disgusting. Thank you for the experience! Highly appreciate it!

Driving through & stopped for breakfast on Tuesday, & today (Saturday) on our way back, we stopped for dinner. Friendly atmosphere, clean restrooms. The people who worked understood English as well as Spanish, which helped our group a lot. Be sure to ask for any condiments or napkins as they do not have those stocked out front. Food was fresh & hot both times. Perfect after a long drive & needing some familiarity & comfort before the long drive back home.

Stopped here right after crossing back into the U.S., and it was exactly what I needed. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was super accommodating. I tried the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger, and it was incredible. If you're looking for a reliable pit stop with great Texas hospitality, this is the place to go. Don't forget to grab some spicy ketchup!

Most of the time it's been a good experience. I would say probably only one time had a not so good experience out of about 30 visits.

My only complaint is that they give you cold food or fries are old, stale and refried. That to me is gross.

Food quality is the same as any other wathaburger. This is the only wathaburger restaurant that requires permission and a key to open the restroom. And only you can access the restaurant through only one door because the other one lacks all the time. It can be interpreted as discrimination issue.

My wife bought a double cheeseburger with "the works," and commented both that it was very tasty and "far better than McDonald's or Burger King." I'm not a fast food fan; however, this constitutes high praise from my wife, who only rarely eats fast food, herself.

I stopped by thru drive thru at 11:10 or so. I ordered a WB w/cheese and a BOB sausage. The cashier proceeded to tell me that theyre not serving breakfast at that time. Im looking at the menu and it says breakfast served from 11pm- 11am which i told the cashier. She said that only the stores that are open 24hrs serve breakfast. They close at 12am. So i told the girl well its still after 11pm and your not closed. Needless to say I didnt get my BOB Sausage. If theyre not going to serve breakfast after 11 then remove the advertisement that you do. Its called false advertisement. To be honest it couldve been made because it doesnt take 45min to make a BOB. I know. I worked at WB.

I left my wallet and 800 dlls in the restroom with my passport I called as soon I got to my hotel and they said no one returned it. the next day I went different manager and said no one returned it. I went the next day at night and asked them to show me the cameras they said I had to do a police report. I did and went to immigration too and since it was my passport they said they were going to request it I went back to the restaurant and told them that the police was going to be there in the morning 🙄tell me why immigration call me at 2 am that night and said the manager at Whataburger gave my passport to them 😡but no money

This place has decreased in quality of food and service. Biscuits are hard as a hockey puck, and many times you do not get everything you ordered. Make sure you check your order before pulling away from the drive thru window. No, the pandemic is not an excuse for lack of attention to detail!

Meat is always dry and crunchy. I used to work at a Whataburger I know I’m getting old meat. Also, staff needs to be better trained in speaking and repeating orders to customers.

Probably the worst wataburger ive been to. Old dried up meats, this is the 2nd time i went as i thought the first time it was a 1 time thing. Went there a 2nd time and the same old dried 1 hour old meat in my burger.

I personally love whataburger but this has to be the worst whataburger I have been to. There was flies and mosquitoes on the counter where the cashier is at. The person handling the food had no plastics gloves on and he was literally grabbing the lettuce with his hands. Worst spicy chicken sandwich I've tried. I've had the spicy chicken sandwich at other locations and it was great but the one on this one was dry and overcooked. The coffee was really bad as well. Probably the worst Whataburger location I've been to. Customer service is not great, either.

Whataburger has the stingiest management out there. They have combination code doors for the bathroom, and they want $10+ for a combo with near minimum wage labor. They always give little ketchup, little water, little napkins. It feels extremely disrespectful how this whataburger location treats their customers.

The online service is terrible. I order a curbside order every Saturday as we pass through to Mexico. The order is NEVER ready when it says. I usually spend 10-15 minutes waiting after I get there. Sometimes I have to call inside to see what's going on. Today the order was 20 minutes late. I am not exaggerating. I would be better off going through the drive through. But I dont dare complain because I will then be called KAREN. 🙄

Today was not a good day for Whataburger. My mother ordered a #13 and they forgot the tenders. Their solution is always for something “free” but that’s not what people want. People sit in line with only a short meal break and all they want is to be able to enjoy their lunch with the little time they have left. We shouldn’t have to check our bag to make sure all of the contents are in there, especially an entree. After a call to the restaurant, and suggestions for my mother to “just go back and get the tenders” my mother returned to the restaurant. The staff had the audacity to insinuate that she had lied about the tenders missing. Wish we had taken pictures. It’s a hassle to go through an ordeal of lying to just get some tenders. It’s not worth the time.

I was eating for my wife when one of the managers came to my vehicle and ask me if I was gonna dine in and if not that I should be moving this I did, Although my plans were to dine in with my wife this action made me change my mind! The manager was very sweet!

We purchased two burgers after midnight on Sunday 1/25 from the drive through. My Burger was hot to touch and my Girlfriend's was cold. Two hours after eating she started throwing up uncontrollably. I'm fairly certain that burger she had, had been sitting there for hours and was the origin of her food poisoning! Never will eat there again I don't understand why they could not cook a fresh patty for her Burger. Her throwing up lasted over 24 hrrs, it was nonretractable. She was still throwing up while her stomach was empty just bile.

I’ve seen the drive thru grill worker hop onto the make up table and cross contaminate atleast a dozen orders. If your stomach hurts after eating here just know they cross contaminate and use old meat. The meat is only good after 5 minutes being cooked but they reset the timer 2 times so 15 minute old meat is being served not fresh cooked to order meat. Instead of taking over the make up table, teach who ever is on the table to take control of it and they got my order wrong twice

This place is located in the worst location ever. Traffic going into Mexico block the intersection and the local PD doesn't lift a finger to help. When we called the local PD for help the dispatcher stated that it was common courtesy for traffic to let us cross the intersection which has a traffic light! OMG left like I was in Mexico where cops only make situations worse and chaotic driving. I don't recommend this location. This occurred on 7/23/24 at 3pm.
