Good food and service. Main problem is sometimes I am not completely understood when ordering my because of a language barrier. This has gotten better recently however.

This place is absolutely delicious every time. Since Covid, the line is long, but not terribly long. The portions are always on point, and the Carne asada is always good. I've never hit the gristle bite like you donat a lot of Mexican places. I try and eat here 2x a week.

Just had the best cheese enchilada plate here! Beans and rice were on point too! Husband ordered a carne asada quesadilla and it was HUGE!Forks, knives, napkins and salsa also provided...

Alberto's Mexican food has the best taco salads and they're called flying saucers I got mine with carne asada and it came with beans cheese shredded fine lettuce and it came with green sauce so if you're on the run and you got a couple minutes I just highly suggest to get this order come check it out for yourself it's right off the freeway you won't be sorry...

This Albertos is better than the ones in San Bernardino because the food portions are bigger and the drive thru is quicker. My favorite is the 2 cheese enchilada plate (no lettuce) and the bean and cheese burrito. Service is quick and friendly. I’m getting hungry just writing this review.

Ordered their Enchiladas Chicken combo plate at 6:30 am today and let me tell you the portions were restaurant sized and filled with chicken and their delicious sauce. Thank you for the delicious breakfast/dinner It was delicious.

Large portions of extremely tasty food!

We tried 5 different dishes and they were all amazing. Was hoping to try the bone marrow but it wasn't available. They gave us some complimentary dessert that was amazing as well. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. Definitely will be returning here more often.

I went through the drive thru. Same service and quality you'd expect from the name. Convenient location. I usually get the chile relleno. I just remembered that they also have a chile Verde (pork) burrito. I'll have to try that next time. Enjoy!

Best Bean and cheese burrito!!! Tasty taquitos with guacamole & cheese!! Hard shell tacos are good too. No skimping in cheese there. Must have an awesome connection!!👍 Best bet is a combo, if you're really hungry. It's abit pricey if you buy individual items. But if you gotta have it? You'll easily drop $8/$10 there. Carnitas is good!!

No negative feelings from me for this place. This Alberto's isn't any worse or better than any of the Alberto's. If you want some good Mexican food, Alberto's a bad choice. It's not the best, but it's far from the worst.

I like it because their food and specially their rice is well made. My family have tried so many Alberto's but no nothing compared to this one in Highland Ave. In San Bernardino. This one is the best, better cleanliness, more friendly, fast to serve but most of all better food served as is their carne asada. My son loves their carne asada nachos as well as their fries because of their clean meat used for it. It is one of the places he likes to eat the most. And my husband has also a few of their combo's favorites. As is the Machaca or the carne with rice and beans plate. Thank you for your great service.

The food is always good at Alberto's. All I had was a bean and cheese burrito with a drink. The price charged was not the posted price, but that's what California's new wages have done. Wages went up twice in four months. The menu boards can't keep up. It would have been under $10 if I hadn't bought a drink.

Drive thru order was made quickly, ordered carne asada burrito and have had their shrimp burrito also delish. This is the one location that truly tastes the way I expect Alberto’s food to taste. I would give 5 stars if I had tried more of their food. Only thing I don’t like is that they won’t give you one of their dine in salsas through drive through. I thought it was ridiculous, but food is still worth me getting off the car to grab the yummy salsa.

The burritos are small and pricey! They don't come authentically Mexican made. The beans and rice were extra charge, but not the pico de gallo and guacamole! The service was alright but I won't be returning unless Amapola is closed !!!

Had their Carne Asada burrito, it was decent and wasn't anything special. The sauces are on the mild side and the tortillas were good. Would come back for food but not something that is a destination item.

For some reason they don't have a bottle of hot sauce to just put in the burrito for you so you can eat it while driving. Was told it's a policy that they cant "add hot sauce" to the burrito. So I drive literally next door to Mike's and go there 5 to 7 times a week for my breakfast burrito since they will just put the hot sauce in the burrito. What an absolute crazy policy that makes no sense.

Been coming here for awhile now but lately they have been pretty bad. I ordered 2 steak potato egg and cheese burritos. I get my food and they used French fries instead of actual potatoes which makes a huge difference in taste. That is just being straight lazy on the cooks...$25+ for the two burritos and that's what I get served management needs to take accountability asap.

The carnitas tacos plate was surprisingly good. The pork was seasoned well, the portion was ridiculously huge and was under $10. Also, the guacamole salsa is pretty good. Rice and beans are ok here, taste like canned beans to be honest. Place is clean. Service is that, they take your order and give you your food, no table delivery, but it's fast food, so whatever. Even the for here orders are given in a to go plate, seems like they don't want you eating there. The surrounding area is a bit shady late at night, mainly meth heads asking for spare change, but their parking lot is well lit. Overall ok, been here many times, everything else sucks, this plate was a 4.

I used to go here ALOT even when the man at the drive-thru was extremely rude at the speaker and at the window. I usually enjoy the taquitos. Food was ok. I ordered a carne asada burrito with cheese and sour cream. They substituted the guacamole for the cheese and then added $1.50 for sour cream. They will not give you the guac, pico, or anything else on the side for your burritos. They also won't credit you for any thing you don't want your burritos. This is standard for many places but it is a huge rip off.

This place use to be good, but my recent visit there kinda turned me off. Part of my order included 2 carne asada soft tacos with just the meat, sour creme and cheese. When I got home it had everything on it (pico de gallo etc) and none of what I wanted, so I called and a girl named "Marla" answered the phone I told her about my order and then I asked to speak to the MIC (manager in charge) so she told me to hold on, started speaking Spanish to a guy there and (I'm assuming) told him about my drive thru order and when she returned to the phone said there wasn't a manager available! 🤨 That confused the hell outta me, but I've seen crazier things at other fast food restaurants before.. So I asked her how would I be able to get my correct items she stated that the manager (I believe his name was Hector) would be working the next morning and that I could call or come then and speak to him. I eventually tossed the tacos in the trash and decided not to patronize their business again...

Only good thing in this restaurant is the asada fries everything else is very bad the beans are bad and also the rice bad flavor wouldn’t recommend the chile rellenos is 0/10 horrible

Ordered and got home to only get food that I did not order it was cold when I called no one answered. I wasn't about to sit through the drive thru again. And no one was wearing mask. The dude in the red shirt was rubbing his face. I don't knkw if the red shirt and black shirt are different job titles but it grossed me out

The worst food and the worst customer service. You order your food at the drive thru they repeat your order and you get home it's wrong! Manager doesn't care they say come back and we'll give you the correct food. Too late, I'm home already. This has happened to me 3 times. I've given them chances but now never again.

It was ok they didn't sell pina which is why i stopped at this location so i just drove a few minutes away and went to amapolla and brought one from there. I actually do like Alberto's but unfortunately the order of carne asada fries only comes in one size. I didn't want a large size. I think you should have a smaller size not everyone will actually eat that much unless it was for two people

The food servings are a lot smaller than other Alberto's and they are the same price. If you want more for your buck try a different location.

The food and cooks are great. The one star is because of the total ass hole of cashier. Name on the receipt is Jair. If he is there turn away, he was trying to charge me $1 for an extra bag, a dollar really! He stuffed all my food in a small bag to boot! And had this guy behind the counter that didn't look like he worked there.

Food is really good there. We love the food but the service is really bad there was a line down the block so we wanted to dine in. People were in there eating but the doors were locked and no one would open them. This was at 9:50pm dinning room hours on door says open till 11pm.

My husband went thru the drive thru at approx 0700 and ordered a quesadilla with sour cream and pico de gallo on the side. When he brought it home the quesadilla was dripping and soggy. We both drive back to return it and attendant stated you didnt say you wanted it on the side and preceded to to agrue and then stated Im not going to argue. I just ask for a refund. He took our receipt had my husband sign another one and didnt give us a copy. When I asked his name then he decided to give us a copy of the receipt. And said the name is in the receipt. I will never eat here again. I order a simple bean rice and cheese burrito. When I got home to take the first bite, I discovered a small piece of wire in my burrito. Can you imagine how disgusted I was? Upon further inspection, I discovered it was a piece of steel wool from a Brillo pad which they probably use to clean their pots and pans. I give them props for keeping their dishes clean but steel wool does not belong in my burrito.

I tried their chorizo burrito and it was not good. It tasted as though they made it with old chorizo that was left over from the griddle. Had no flavor, dry and the tortillas are like thin rubber. I would not recommend this place for breakfast.

June 13, 2018 @ 730pm. MY FIANCE had a taste for some Carne Asada Nachos. So He went to this place. He said that the Guy who took his order was so rude. He paid extra for Sour Cream but didn't get it. He said the NACHOS taste ok but if he ever go back to this restaurant it will be a LONG TIME. Because of this rude. order taker. Maybe they should make him the janitor. Not in the front with nasty attitude. IJS.

Poor customer service.I got to the Window and was asked how can I help you? What happened to a nice greeting or May I take your order please. Then I ordered two burritos and fries and inquired about green sauce and was told you received 6 any more you will be charged extra after already spending almost$25 on three items. I really enjoy Alberto’s but this location is the only place that is not opened for dine in okay I get that, but if I go to a restaurant to order food for all my coworkers and we are all paying don’t tell me at the drive thru I can only order 3 meals anything more I have to exit and return back to a line to reorder imagine if I’m ordering for 10 people I would have to go thru the line 4 times what do you think will happens to the first 9 meals by the time I got them all? Common sense all the other meals would be cold not to mention you’d be late returning to work if you only have a 30 minute lunch overall I was very displeased with their service and they didn’t even want to listen to reason perhaps the consumer isn’t always right however because of their managements attitude and not wanting to even listen to reason or their customers concerns I will never entertain or support this establishment one must realize they are in business because of their clients your clients are the very reason why your in business your clients are the ones that are paying your salary so provide the absolute best service don’t have an attitude with your client that leaves a very negative impression on your client nevertheless I wish them the best in the future I personally I will not support this establishment because of the managements I don’t care attitude.

I almost always LOVE your asada burritos but last night I ordered my same burrito and it was terrible. Maybe a new employee? I would have never guessed it was from Alberto's! I went through the drive thru for an order of chicken nachos. After paying I recieved my receipt for two chicken tacos. When notififying the women at checkout that the order was incorrect she closed the window without confirming my order or even an apology for the incorrect order and charge to my card. When she opened the window to charge me the difference she once again made a mistake by not once confirming what I was ordering and had a horrible attitude. Each time after coming to this Alberto's in particular the experience has been worse. Cashiers in drive thru need to be retrained on customer service.

I love Alberto but this one is the worst. I was on a burrito urge for awhile and went to this location. My burrito was extremely salty and called to complain which I never do. Therefore I decided to give them another chance because of other Albertos being so good in the past. I was disappointed! My burrito was so greasy that I squeezed it and made a puddle of grease. I'm never going back to that one again. Be careful with them.

Bland food. Not even close to the quality that made them famous. This place has been going downhill for a while. Quality of chicken & carnitas was bad. Service not friendly at all. Very expensive. After almost 20 years of being a customer at this location, i will not be returning.

Order was made incorrectly, when calling I spoke with Christian. He told me to bring back the food and they will replace it. But if i didnt have a receipt they couldnt do anything. My problem is the food was for lunch and I drove it out 20 mins away to the person with 30 mins of a stricked lunch time. Christian said it wasn't his problem he can remake and The person can eat it after work! I will be driving back to pick up the food to return to receive a refund. Poor customer service and rude. This was our go to spot and now they lost us as customers.

Horrible!!! Got the runs after I ate a carne Azada burrito 🌯 also when I was asked if I wanted both salsas Red & Green ? I said Green only! Yet she still gave me one of each!!! 26th of June 2023 Service- 0 Drive-Thru Experince at approx 0900pm Drive-Thru lady service was poor, attitude was unnecessary. I explained to her as I placed my order to please repeat it as it was incorrect and told her the correct order I wanted. When I went to the window she was gave me my food and I still kindly told her it was incorrect and she told me I needed to get back in line to get help with my order? Normally the staff is friendly and kind idk if she’s new but this experience was by far unacceptable for customer service.

If I could leave a 0 I would!!!!! They wouldn’t let me put my Ordering through the phone when I’ve ordered over the phone before! I’ve also ordered the chorizo and eggs before and they were not spicy this time it was ridiculously spicy!!! I Could not enjoy my food I hate complaining so I took a couple bites thinking I could deal with it but I couldn’t. When I called about a refund they made it damn near impossible for me to complete that transaction!!!! Have to wait in the drive-through behind everybody’s orders just to get my money back!!!!!

Bad customer service. If the food isnt prepared correctly . And you ask them to make you another one . They literally just take the same food item and re-wrap it for you and say the fixed it. Very unprofessional as fast food workers their job is to have satisfied customers.

I wanted to try the food at this place for the first time and it was really disappointing. I spent 30 dollars for 2 tacos and 1 burritos. The taco meat was old and it tasted really funky. It had a strange powdered texture to it. The burrito was not tasting right as well. As for the atmosphere, there was a random person roaming around our table and he was sleeping on the seats and everything. I tried to reach them through email and phone mentioned on their website but they gave no response. The email mentioned in the website doesn't even exist. I had a really bad experience at this location.

Ordered a Torta de Asada (drive-thru) specifically asked for the meat to be chopped up as mentioned my kid will not eat it (agreed upon), as I get home no chopped meat. On Thursday morning 03/06/2025 came to get breakfast & decided to order a breakfast burrito 🌯. I ordered potatoes & bacon , one egg. The burrito was so dry & disgusted , how the burrito tasted. It was so bland 😠, and I would not recommend anyone eating there.😫 The bacon in the burrito was burnt. I had to throw it away. I will never go back , plus they take so long to get the order done.. the management there probably don't care how customers want to enjoy the food they get.😡 No flavor is the burrito I ordered. Any customers...dont bother going there.. your going to be eating dry food that's not prepared right.🥺

Got my drive thru order wrong but did charge me full price for what i did get. & Gave me a combo that was not worth what i paided. Check your order before you leave drive thru. Oh well can't be a home run all the time. Ask for salt for your fries too they didn't put any on mine.
