Yesterday was my second time coming there & what really brought me there was supposed to be entertainment from a band that we never heard!! I wasn't pleased with the food at all..I ordered Nachos & in my mind when think of Nachos I'm thinking your dipping sauce drizzled over the Nachos.Not a bag of cheese melted on tortilla chips.Just horrible..so I sent them back & got the fried cheese sticks which was cold & hard & nasty.. These are just appetizers not our meal..So the meals come & I ordered chicken fingers & fries..lord why these chicken fingers didn't have any meat..I thought it was potted meat..yall need to change yall meat on chicken fingers just nasty..my boyfriend is the only one enjoyed his meal which he had the club sandwich! & we had to cocktails which was ok but it had more juice...So disappointing 😞 & want be back!

Arrived on a Sat for early dinner and it was packed. There were open tables but no sign or hostess to inform whether it was “to be seated” or “seat yourself”. We ultimately chose seat yourself. Food was good. Arrived hot and tasted good. Service was tough because it was quite packed. Atmosphere was tough. Very dark inside and very loud. They were not running live music but the overhead music was too much. Very difficult to have table conversations.

As a long-time resident, Edgewood seems like an odd place to put in a dive/sports bar restaurant. Perhaps I'm just accustomed to seeing other types of business in the space but it just feels forced. The space is predictably cliche as is the limited menu. Burgers, wings, nachos, wraps, salads. In a crowded street of restaurants, Otey's doesn't bring anything new to the neighborhood, making me wonder why they chose this location. I got a chili cheeseburger ($15) and it was smaller and not as good as the $9.25 cheeseburger combo next door at Sam's. The Otey's burger had a heavy char flavor that overpowered the beef and the bun was cold as if it had just come from a cooler. I asked an employee if the intent was to serve the bun cold, and he said they only warm buns on request. Seriously? Do you really need someone to tell you that a bun for a burger should be warm and not cold? The cold bun meant the burger was only lukewarm when it came to the table. My wife had the chicken salad plate and she said it was okay but desperately needed seasoning. Everything was served with paper plates and plastic cutlery so you get a fast food vibe. As a bar, they seem to have a good selection of popular beers but everything is bottle only, no draft. The restaurant wasn't very busy so the staff was doing some cleaning while we ate. As god is my witness, a staff member was dusting pictures on the wall over our table as we sat there. That's not just rude, it's disgusting. Otey's is a typical sports bar with average food. If that's your vibe, you'll love it but if you're looking for anything beyond the basics, you should look elsewhere.

The food was very underwhelming. Just basic "bar food". There a are a dozen better places to eat within two miles. Fries and onion rings were worthless. My "mound of turkey" sandwich had two slices. If you are young and want a beer and bar food this might be a place to try. If you want good food, pass.

First Take Review: Ordered 10 hot wings and basket of fries. Hot wings themselves were $15 and Basket of Fries $5. Fries were basic fries, nothing special, cooked well, tasted fine, for $5 I'm at least happy they gave you a lot of them. Wings were overcooked. The skin and the inside were rubbery and hard to eat, a real shame because it had a decent flavor and tasted like it would've been good if they were cooked properly. I will be returning to try one of the main courses, probably a burger but the feeling is a nice sit down spot with a good atmosphere but with overpriced Apps. To be fair, other main course menu items don't seem as overpriced. First Take: 5 / 10

Burger was not good. Wings were decent. It was packed of kids drinking buckets of beer. That's cool, the food just matched that

I had a take-out order order last week. It was a desperate evening, my wife and I were dead tired and just thought- "we'll get something comforting and easy". Since Nikis isn't open for supper anymore- let's just get some chicken fingers and a bacon cheeseburger. FRIES on the side! Heck yeah! What we had was a fairly good burger, some Sysco/Tyson type chicken fingers and pitiful (thought plentiful) crinkle cut frozen fries. The chicken and fries were either warmed up in the fryer after a lengthy stay elsewhere or the oil was way past its prime. This is inexcuseable in a 'neighborhood' place with not cheap prices. Jacks would have beaten this sad attempt no problem. We've been to Oteys Crestline plenty. We didn't expect a Frank Stitt meal, but honestly most of this went in the trash. Mudtown, Sams (NEXT DOOR!!!) ....Jacks, are consistent with this menu. Maybe it was a bad night, but staff outnumbered patrons at 7 pm. Not a good look any night.

I’ve been twice now. The food here is not the same as the Otey’s in Mountain Brooke. Picture of the $15 buffalo chicken wrap..The other location makes it completely different. This was terrible.

I've tried to eat dinner here twice. Both times I showed up and was unable to find a single employee who would talk to me. When I was there on Saturday evening a couple was sitting by the door and had a dog on a leash that was blocking the entrance. One of the waitstaff came up to me, moved the dog so she could get inside and then shut the door in my face. Hopefully the management will either start running this like an actual restaurant or they'll move and make room for a business that has even a low level of customer service.

Bad service, cold atmosphere, burnt French fries covered with cheese, no salt, no pepper. I will stick with Sonic when it comes to getting chili cheese fries.

The location itself makes parking difficult and I visited on a Friday night. I sat at the bar and waited about 5 minutes for my husband to park. I never once was acknowledged; however, a group of ladies walked up and got their drink orders taken. I waited an additional 2-3 minutes once my husband joined me and still nothing, so we left. Needless to say, we won't be back.
